Club Tourists tried Googling about Greek Restaurant in the Philippines and Manos Greek Taverna was the number 1 in the list. This very simple restaurant is quietly located along Calamba Road in Olivarez San Jose.

The restaurant structure is like typical Ancient Greek House. Its rectangular in shape painted in White. Once you've entered the restaurant, you can just notice the tables are covered with Blue and White sheets (just like in Greece Flag). Pictures of Greece's map, monuments and other popular places. Not to mention some collections of different wines. As simple as it gets.

Local folks and even tourists swarmed the restaurant because of its tasty delicacies. But wait, there's even more, all foods are cooked in Greek virgin oil from their olive plantations on the Island of Crete just like the old Greek tradition 2500 years ago. So whatever you may order, it is Guaranteed - Healthy! No chemicals No preservatives No Colorings and even Vetsin. Don't worry, just order and eat like a Rockstar.

This is the first time that Club Tourists will blog a Hotel. Because of the great service and wonderful ambience, this hotel is worth mentioning.

One Tagaytay place just started 4th Quarter of 2008. The hotel was not classified as of the moment.

Club Tourists formulated a checklist to check if you're staying in a Good 3-5 Star Hotel:

1. Cleanliness?
Yes. From the lobby to the elevator up to the hall way and most especially the room.

2. Good Food?
Yes. Not a Buffet type but the breakfast is good. Your choice of an American and Filipino delicacies

3. Accessibility?
Yes. 5 minutes drive to Picnic Grove. 10 minutes drive going to Madison Square.

4. Warm Staff?
Yes. Very accommodating staff. Very attentive with the guests requests. Very courteous and polite

5. Wi-Fi Access?
Yes. But slow connection

6. Swimming Pool?
Yes. Good enough for small groups. With Kiddie pool.

7. Welcome Drinks?
Yes. Serving of juice drinks upon checking in

8. Comfortable Bed? (with clean sheets and soft pillows)
Yes. It feels like you don't want to go out your room anymore.

9. Quiet Environment?
Yes. No vehicle sounds. Really peace and quiet.

10. Functional Facilities? (Telephone, Lights, TV, Ref and Aircon)
Yes. All in good condition

No. The view is not what we expected for. We're expecting that our room is overlooking Taal Volcano but its not. But the good side in this hotel has a veranda.

Yes. Especially for BPI Credit Card holders. They offer discounts

19. Online Reservation?
Yes. Go to their Site to reserve now.

20. Location Pickup/Transfer?
No. We are not offered to any of these.

Score: 18/20 - 90%
The verdict: PASSED

According to PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration), Bagyong Ondoy records the highest amount of rainfall in history that hits Metro Manila that brought Heavy Flooding. The damage to property was estimated to be Php 6 billion, including Php 4.1 billion in damage to infrastructure, Php 1.9 billion in damage to schools, and Php 212,000 in damage to agriculture.

Collected some photos and videos from the Aftermath of Bagyong Ondoy (Internationally known as Tropical Storm Ketsana).

Bohol is one tourist attraction that a traveller shouldn't missed. Bohol tops all views because of its well-known chocolate hills and not to mention extinct animal like the Tarsier. But Bohol has other attraction - its one of a kind food-trip experience.

Several floating restaurants are found along the Loay Bridge, just 20 kms from Tagbilaran City. These floating restaurants are built from bamboo or "kawayan" (materials used in making "Bahay Kubo" or Nipa Hut). These are placed atop two (2) banka-hulls. These motored-bankas are the restaurants engine. On the platform, buffet tables are in-place with delicious local foods. As soon as the floating resto are filled with 20-25 guests, the experience begins! The floating restaurant starts to maneuver upstream, the buffet table is open, the local band plays from folk songs to local pop songs and the scenic view of the Loboc River just captures your attention. Not bad for an amount of Php 250 ($ 5) for a complete package.

Life along the river goes on with some of the locals do their daily stuffs. Not to mention several kids who will ask for a little change (coins) from tourists for them to climb in a large coconut tree and dive in the water. Hows that for a little thrill from the locals right?

The end of the trip, which takes about 45 minutes to reach a small waterfalls called Busay. As soon as the boat reached the falls, this marks the point where the floating restaurant cannot go any further. This just allows the guest to enjoy the view and listen to another group of singers with their instruments for their presentation. After some time, the return trip starts.

Visit Loboc River for a very unique experience.

Sharing some of the sites while breeze walking in one of the famous places in Singapore - Clarke Quay. This place is named after Sir Andrew Clarke - this man made a big difference in the history of Singapore, aside from being the second Governor in history, he was one of the guys who strategically positioned Singapore as main ports for Malay states. Quay (can be pronounced as "ki", "kei" or "kwei") in simple English is a pier or wharf where ships may stop over to load or unload stuffs.

You can see Clarke Quay right now as one of "hot spot" for tourists. Colorful lights from famous restaurants and night clubs. Ride around the beautiful Clarke quay along river cruises or river taxis. Want some excitement? Then Clarke Quay's outdoor sport - GMAX reverse bungee. A must try for thrill-seekers. The best time to stroll is during night time. Lots of people from all races are all over to party until the lights and sounds are over.

Honda Bay, Puerto Princesa Palawan

Don't ever leave Puerto Princesa if you haven't been to Honda Bay. All-in-one adventure like Island hopping, swimming, snorkeling, diving and even fish feeding. Perfect site for photography as well by capturing the sunrise or sunset across the blue ocean and white sand. Nice!

How to Get there?
There a couple of ways to go to this island. Just ensure to put into mind that both of these options meet at Barangay Sta. Lourdes Tagbanua

Option 1. Either get a travel agent by just paying them roughly around Php1,500 each person. This includes hotel pick-up, boat rentals, lunch, snorkeling gears and entrance to islands.

Option 2. Explore the island by yourself by just spending Php1,500 together with your group (max of 8). If you have a very tight budget, the second option will definitely save you from harm.

We love Crepes so much that's why we've alotted one space for this yummy treat. Crepe is a simple, do it on your own treat. This is made by pouring batter (mixture of flour, water, egg and milk) in a hot circular pan. After making a "pancake-like" look, take it away from heat and pour whatever treats you like! Different fruits like strawberry, mango, apple or what have you. Put in some syrup like chocolate or vanilla or spread Nutella or peanut butter into it. Sprinkle it with nuts, cereals, choco flakes or chips. After placing whatever ingredients you may desire, top it with whip cream or ice cream and a lot more of fruit tidbits.

Mouthwatering!

One distinct feature about Korean food is their side dishes. An average of 5 side dishes around your table. Not bad for an appetizer huh?

Club Tourists tried Korea Garden located in Jupiter Street in Makati. As we've enter the place, white table sheets with fine table preparation welcomed us. A simple fine dine restaurant for your. But mind you, the price is not that expensive. An average of Php 200 bucks per meal. Great deal right?

Our first stop, is the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport. This is located somewhere in the far north already. Basically in Subic, Pampanga. We've landed in this airport since we've chosen Air Asia as our carrier to Kuala Lumpur. Air Asia's terminal is only located there so we have no choice but to abide.

Travel period from Philippines to Malaysia is around 6 hours. So while in the plane, we've fine tuned our Itineraries to be able to make sure that we will not miss different must see's in the country. Of course, after the "review", we ended up sleeping to make sure that we have the strength to tour Kuala Lumpur.

We checked-in in Bintang Warisan Hotel. The hotel is very accessible to almost anything! Almost 2-3 blocks from our hotel is Pasar Malam Night Market and the Pavilion. We went to the Night Market to get us some "Pasalubong".

Tired and hungry, we wanted to try some Malaysian delicacies. Luckily, we've passed through one hawker in one of the streets going to our hotel. We got the chance to eat in "Nasi Lemak Kukus" (means steamed rice with coconut milk). A full meal with an average of 1RM. Not bad for a tourist with tight budget huh?

We rested early to make sure that we can wake up in the morning for the Batu Cave. Unfortunately, due to some circumstances, we woke up late. hehe! Anyways, we went straight up to Batu Cave. When you're here, you'll be thinking, are we in India already? Lot's of Indians around since this is a place of worship for them. Huge statues of different Hindu gods covered almost the whole place. Mind you, if you plan to travel here, better bring an umbrella and lots of water because the place is very humid. whew!

After taking some shots in Batu Cave, we are very hungry to the extent that we don't know where to eat. Until we've bumped in this resto named - Chicken Rice Shop. Set meals are somewhat cheap and good for 4 persons. Not bad for a 33RM meal.

Next stop is the National Museum. Actually, we went here by an accident. We tried the Hop-Off, Hop-On bus and to our surprise, it costs a fortune! Huwaaaw! Roughly 44RM for 24hour ride in the city. We are expecting that there is some sort of a minimum wage when going to the next hop-off points but unfortunately, once you ride the bus, you're gonna pay the whole rate.

KL Telecommunication Tower (Menara KL) is one of the known tower in KL. When we got their, they have other recreations like Snow village and Zip line.

Sad part in our tour is we haven't got the chance to climb on top of the Petronas Twin Towers. However, we didn't bother to take some shots outside of one of the tallest high riser in the world

On our last day, we ended up going to Sunway Lagoon Theme Park. We like the concept of this park. It's a combination of Splash Island and Enchanted Kingdom. Nice place for the family!

Last stop, Genting Highlands! One unforgettable experience that we had here was we rode the cable car 3 times! whew! At first, it's pretty awesome but eventually you'll be bored in it. Anyways, Genting Highland is a theme park for the family. They have an outdoor and indoor park that can really satisfy whatever adventure you may have. We suggest if you'll come here, better book your room here and have a whole day tour of the place.

Part 2 of my venture in one of the million internet businesses out there. Today, I will highlight my experience in NeoBux. You may think its a Scam. There are bitter websites out there who can't do anything but to knock the hell-up of others credibility. As for me, before venturing in this business, I ensure myself that I'll have an open-mind, done all my homework and have enough cash to splash. Since I'm all-in, now, I'm sharing my story.

I joined NeoBux last June 29, 2009. I have so much to learn about this prestigious PTC site but what the heck, I'm a risk taker. I'm currently a Standard Member. I'm earning $0.04 cent every day. Meaning, as a Standard member, I only have 4 advertisements to click worth $0.01 cent compared to an upgraded fellow. With this in mind, I know I can't "bring home the bacon". After 2 weeks of clicking ads, I started renting my "clickers" or "referrals". As the title implies, these folks helps you with the clicking and of course earning. It's not slavery believe me, you're helping them as well by paying them with their efforts. More on this as we move further.

First, I have rented 30 referrals worth almost $8. As a standard member in NeoBux, your first 2 rentals are discounted. Since I have only earned less than a dollar, I need to invest from my own pocket. This is one of the hardest part to do especially when you're doing transaction in the internet. You're not sure whether the company you're investing in is legit or not. But with research and testimonies from other members, that made me decide to spill out some cash.

As I've experienced, results were pretty much noticeable. After renting 30 referrals, my earnings went up for almost double what I'm getting every day. By the way, we're just talking about cents here, don't get carried away. After seeing the success of the 30 refs, I rented again for my first 100 referrals for $25 bucks. All in, I have invested $33 already. Thats approximately Php1,500 in Philippine currency. Risk risk risk is the word for the day.

After getting my 130 referrals, I'm now averaging $1 per day. Imagine, I rented referrals last July 24 and I earned $10.92 last August 4 already. The minimum payout in NeoBux is $2 actually, so its up to you how much you want to cash. As for me, I played safe. I tried if this really works. Well, I was satisfied! Payout went right away to my Paypal account.

With this in mind, at least we know that NeoBux is really true. Right now, I'm currently thinking of my next move whether I'll invest again for an upgrade or not. You'll know once I've done it.

I'm sharing this information for all of you to be aware. I'm not saying you venture right away because of a $10 result. Before doing any move, STOP, LOOK and LISTEN (this is very famous when I'm in pre-school). Lets not decide in an impulse, lets study whatever business we want to pursue to ensure that whatever cash we splurge in will come back in no time.

This topic is part by part. This will depend on my experience whether I'll be successful in this Internet business or not. So hang-on tight, the ride may get nasty as we move further.

Hong Kong, Secod Day Tour

Second day is busier in Hong Kong. We woke up early to go to the Repulse Bay. It's one of Hong Kongs Beach. White Sand but Boracay is better! We took some shots, wade in the water and enjoy the sun.

Next stop is the Big Buddha in Ngong Ping Lantau Island. Wuhooo! One mistake we made was we took the almost 2-3 hours bus ride instead of riding the cable car! what the! Anyways, at least we still ended up in front of the Big Buddha without a scratch. Imagine going to the 100 steps in Baguio? Thats how it works here. We went to more than a hundred steps just to see the Buddha upclose. While on the top, you can see almost the whole Hong Kong. Just like in The Victoria Peak. Nice! Not to mention walking right through the Po Lin Monastery. Preservation of culture at its best!

We didn't spend much time in Ngong Ping by the way since our next stop is, where else, Hong Kong Disneyland! wuhooo! We went there aboard the MTR Disneyland Resort Line. The trains themselves are sleek and modern, but their colors and fanciful details, including Mickey Mouse-shaped windows trimmed in red that look out over gold ribbons and sparkling pixie dust, provide a classic look that enables them to appear equally at home in either of their destinations: the futuristic Sunny Bay Station and the Victorian-themed Disneyland Resort Station.This makes the very first dedicated train line for a Disney theme park anywhere in the world! Imagine the excitement we've experience aboard it until we've reached the park. We can describe it in 1 work - "Magical!"

There's a lot to see, hear, do and experience in Hong Kong Disneyland. We are like kids waving to Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Buzz Lightyear and all other Disney Characters. One of the best experienced that we will treasure and of share to our family in the future!

Hong Kong, First Day Tour

Upon arriving in Hong Kong sometime November, a climate of 19 degrees welcomed us. That's fairly cold. It's a good thing our cardigans and vests are ready. We went straight to our Hotel riding in the front seat of a "double-decker" bus. How i imagined some of those buses are available here. It could be a help for commuters but a nightmare to all traffic enforcers. haha! Anyways, since we ended up staying in Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon, we started checking out the spectacular view of Victoria Harbour. Alongside the coastline is the Avenue of Stars. Imagine you're in now defunct Baywalk in Roxas Boulevard without the "fish-like" smell and walking along Philippines version of Hollywoods Walk of Fame in Libis QC. That's how we described it. Stars like Jacky Chan, Bruce Lee, Chow Yun Fat and Jet Li are some of the well known celebrities who have their names engraved in the floor. Not to mention, Bruce Lees monument with his trademark fighting stance. So if you're a big fan of chinese or hong kong celebrities, you better try this place.

First day was a very busy day! we had breakfast at where else... at McDonalds! (One of the cheapest "good to go" resto in Hong Kong). We then rode the ferry going to Central Station. Our first tourist spot for the day is the well known Victoria Peak (Tai Ping Shan). We went there by riding the Peak Tram. Imagine a train that is pulled by a very tough metal chain atop a mountain. That's how it works. We were actually seated with an inclination of 45 degrees. Whooooo! While in The Peak, there are lots of tourist attractions like the EA Sports Facilities, where we tried some of the new games in X Box, PS 3 and even PSP for Free. Yep, you've read it right. Another place to check out is the Madame Tussauds (Wax Museum). We didn't actually go there since it's too expensive.

We're better off with the life size statue of Jacky Chan. hehe! The most awesome place of all is in the viewing deck or the Sky Terraces. Imagine seeing the whole island of Hong Kong. For those who got phobias of heights, it's now or never to you guys. We guarantee you, one of the coolest must-see spot in Hong Kong!

After checking out The Peak, we walked our way to the Ocean Park bus terminal and passed through Centrals Garden Park. We're very excited to the see the Ocean Park and we were not disappointed. Lots of rides for young and old alike. The park is really for the family. How we wished we can bring along our family to share this one of a kind park. Maybe next time...

It's getting dark and we hopped on the bus going to Central again eat at one of the best noodles in Hong Kong. yum yum!

We rushed in to Kowloons Victoria Harbour since its almost 8PM. One spectacular scene that we've witnessed in Hong Kong is the Symphony of Lights. A spectacular display of laser beams bouncing off 33 key skyscrapers on both sides of the harbor for 15minutes or so. Accompanied by synchronized music and commentary, the sound and light display depicts the growth of Hong Kong from a sleepy fishing village to the dynamic world-class city it is today. The sad part here is we didn't got the chance to capture it in video since our vidcam is out of battery. huhuh! Nevertheless, the experience of being there with your loveone is a whole new level.

After the checking out the spectacular light display, of course, getting into a night market in Hong Kont is a must. We went to Temple Street to check out some finds. Imagine a night market in Divisoria and Greenhills. That's basically it.

National Geographic Store, Singapore

As we strolled down the Vivo City Mall in Singapore, we passed by one store that captivates our attention. We're looking at a huge store (roughly around 1,500 square meter in space) with so much history to learn, so much stuffs to grab and so much things to try. National Geographic has planted its 2nd (second) store next to London. Nat-Geo called this "Global Experiential Space". Nice!

Since 1888, National Geographic continues to inspire the whole world to care about our planet. They have done by sending out millions and millions of information magazines worldwide. Not to mention its own National Geographic channel in cable TV.

While touring the store, we've seen a small glass room. This is Nat-Geo's Controlled Freezing Chamber. One of the "coolest" place in the store! Literally! Imagine yourself in a 15 degrees Celsius/5 degrees Fahrenheit temperature? How your body reacts in this type of condition. You can simulate this one by using your own clothes and afterwards you'll try it with the use of the jacket that Nat-Geo offers in the store.

A typical zoo is a place where you can see animals placed in a cage. No animal encounters at all. This notion was completely changed by Zoobic Safari in Subic Bay Freeport Zone. This 25 hectares zoo is setup in Ilanin Forest. The look and feel is absolutely different. You may either choose to ride a jeepney tram or have a little breeze walk to see several animals. Much like the Night Safari in Singapore if you'll ask, except that this is a day park.

Commuting Visitors:
From Manila, you may take the Victory Liner bus to Olonggapo City. Since Zoobic Safari opens at 8:00AM and closes at 4:00PM, Club Tourists suggest to take the most earliest trip. Expect a 2-3 1/2 hour ride going to Olonggapo Victory Liner Terminal. Note: The bus rate depends on what terminal you are in, the average cost would be between Php 190 - 220 bucks one way as of July 2009.

From the Victory Liner Terminal, catch a BLUE jeepney to Subic Freeports Main Gate Area. Walk across the main gate and either take the bus or hire a van or taxi going to the zoo. Note: Vans and Taxis rate here are expensive. Roughly Php 150 - 200 bucks one way as of July 2009.

Visitors with private/rented vehicles:
Club Tourists won't fool you, going to Zoobic Safari is not very commuter friendly. We suggest to bring your own wheels or just rent. You'll just shed out a little amount if you'll compute it compared to paying the bus fares.

Anyways, take the NEW Clark-Subic Highway. This will take 1 1/2 hours from Balintawak to Subic. Just that! No hassles to go to other places like the Ocean Adventure and beaches in the vicinity.

Visitors who wants to try the Ferry:
There are ferry who leaves CCP Terminal in Manila Bay to Orion. Roughly 1 1/2 hours going there. In Orion, take bus going to Olonggapo City.

THE PAVILION
As the Zoobic Safari says, "The Adventure Starts Here!". This is the main entrance of the park. As you enter, live tigers are already in display in their cages. There are also scheduled programs for the young and young-at-heart. Get a chance to have your picture taken just beside a tiger or a cub. A little bit of a starter for you.

TIGER SAFARI
One of the best experience in Zoobic Safari! Buy a live chicken worth Php 200 bucks and have it tied in the jeepney tram. As you passed by some tigers, don't get shocked or surprised as this carnivores jump over the top or at the side of the tramp and munch the chicken like there's no tomorrow. MUST TRY!

ZOOBIC PARK
Petting zone and animal observation area along a mini forest. Farm and exotic animals are in sight.

SAVANNAH
Rent a golf car or drive your own and get up close and personal with ostriches, wild boars, sheeps and goats

SERPENTARIUM
This is a place (from the suffix -arium) of different types of snakes and reptiles (from the prefix serpent). Enough of the English class. Have your picture taken while a big snake are lingering all over your neck. Whoooo!

CROCO LOCO
This is more like a crocodile farm for those who tried it in Davao. Chance to feed this hungry crocs by buying some meat worth Php 100 and experience the reptiles strengths as they jump over for the food and munch it all at the same time. Curious? Try it!

Gelato is an Italian frozen dessert, similar (and tastes like) ice cream. With our curiosity, we tried this in Gelatone in Greenbelt 3. Quite expensive for a single scoop worth Php 100 bucks but its all worth it. Because of our love in ice cream, a single scoop won't hurt. They say, Gelato has lower fat compared with the regular ice cream. Good for health conscious folks. This is one healthy ice cream just like in BTIC. So help yourself.

Whatever the version of the ice cream is, the satisfying taste that this cold treat offers is incomparable. Rain or shine, whatever the weather is, this won't stop us.

Are We Allowed to Visit the Museum?
Of course! But bare in mind that you shouldn't go there right away without the proper security clearance from the Presidential Security Group. Whooooo! Yep, you read it right. What should be Written in the Letter of Intent?
Ensure to include the names of the people who will visit the museum. For foreigners, include passport details for proper identification. Specify the desired date and time of the visit to inform the Visitors and Tours of coordinators.

What is the Operating Hours and is entering here FREE of charge?
The Museum is open from Monday to Friday, 9AM to 4PM only. Your tour depends on the schedule that will be given to you. Club Tourists suggest to be there on time to avoid issues with the security and to not missed out the Tour guides story. Yep, there will be tour guide provided.

For the FEE, just shed Php50.00 bucks (Php30 for students and senior citizens) and you'll experience history at its best.

Make Money Online, Is this Real? Part 1

Is this for real? The world wide web has so much opportunity to offer. You can earn, advertise, inform and even let others watch you in You Tube. It's a matter of choosing which side you are in. The pleasure side of browsing the Internet or the productive side that buys you coffee every morning.

As an author of this blog, my first venture is by putting advertisements in this blog - Club Tourists & Co. I have incorporated AdSense by Google and Nuffnang. As of this blogging, I have not earned yet. But that won't stop me. Maybe I just lack the traffic, maybe some of the visitors are not clicking the Google Ads all over my blog or maybe I need to re-strategize the look and feel of my site for better appreciation from my visitors.

AdSense by Google quota for cash out is $100 while Nuffnangs is Php2,000. I know I'm doing the right thing by advertising my blog in some forums, websites and even traffic generators like Traffic Pods. But there's a feeling that I'm still lacking something. I'm not yet sure what that is. In God's time, I'm confident enough that I'll hit the bulls eye. So stay put.

Next thing that I did was singing-up to FREE PTC (Paid-To-Click) websites. PTC websites give you money by just clicking on advertisements. There are thousands of PTC's out there that offers you lots of money actually. But BEWARE, some don't actually PAY. Some PTC sites are just bragging this and that but when you're about to have a cash-out, its a PAIN IN THE NECK. How did I know this? In Google, where else?

I have tried my luck with 2 (two) of them. This is the Neobux and Wordlinx. Maybe ask why I chose these 2. I google a lot. I read reviews about this PTC madness. My first choice based on my research is Neobux and after 3 days, i entered Wordlinx as a backup.

Neobux and Wordlinx have paid out over a million of clickers world wide. If you got the chance to read the websites forum, lots of testimonies with their earnings are there. (You may click the banners provided below if want to go directly to the websites.)

As a newbie here, I'm still in the process of studying the system and thinking hard if I'll invest in the site or not. Hold-up everyone, I know you read invest where in fact I've mentioned its FREE. As soon as you joined either of the 2 PTC's, you'll be included in the so-called Standard member. Standard members are given the "basic" tools for you to earn money. In order for you to earn more it to invest for your referrals or clickers. I cannot elaborate this yet since I have not invested as of this moment.

This topic is part by part. This will depend on my experience whether I'll be successful in this Internet business or not. So hang-on tight, the ride may get nasty as we move further.
