With less than one week until Thanksgiving, it’s hard to ignore the inevitable – the holiday season is upon us, once again! Time to dust of the decorations, throw on your favorite holiday attire and put the final touches on your shopping list!

The weeks which lie ahead are notoriously eventful for most; filled holiday tunes, determined shoppers and of course, friends and family. Have no fear. We’re here to help you through!

New version of TomTom app for iPhone and iPod touch, available now!

The latest version of TomTom app for iPhone and iPod touch can now be purchased on the App Store, for $99.99.

Already have TomTom app for iPhone? You’re in luck. You can download the newest version (version 1.2) for free!

Features Inlcude: Advanced Lane Guidance, text-to-speech, “Help menu”, updated maps of the US and Canada, iPod player control and compatibility with the iPod touch (using the soon-to-be-released TomTom car kit for iPod touch) and the original iPhone (using TomTom car kit for iPhone).

TomTom car kit for iPod touch will be available shortly in the US.

Dario Franchitti Navigates to the Ultimate Finish Line, named Champion of the IndyCar Series!

Congrats to Dario Franchitti and the Target Chip Ganassi Racing team for securing the IndyCar series title. With this big finish at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the Target Chip Ganassi Racing Team claimed their seventh open wheel crown – quite a victory!

This of course, is no surprise to us as you may remember Franchitti’s summer triumph in Iowa, while driving the TomTom car!

“Winning 5 races and the Championship this year was very special. I am very fortunate to have relationships with some of the best companies in the world. In particular, I want to give a special thanks to my sponsor TomTom for helping me navigate a competitive year and for guiding me to my destination…the championship”, said the victor himself, Dario Franchitti.

We’re honored to have helped the best driver around navigate to his destination. Well done Dario!
