The Dizzy

Click on the white puffle to get the Dizzy wig.

Red Viking Helmet

Click on the Dojo in the background to get the red viking helmet. Then click on the helmet and repeat three more times to get the blue viking helmet.

Black Cape

Click on the small mushroom beneath the penguin wearing the ladybug costume to get the Black Cape.

Black Superhero Mask

Click on the letter O in Penguins at Work to get the black superhero mask. Also, notice that on this page, just like last year, the shadow of the yellow penguin shoveling snow is a ninja!

Black Bowtie

Click on the letter N in CLEARANCE to get the black bowtie.

If you wear the goldsmith apron and then do the Dance action, your penguin will pull out an anvil and a hammer and start hammering.

It's all very strange, but the combination of events is pointing towards something big happening really soon in Club Penguin, just like last year at this time. It will probably have something to do with Ninjas--perhaps a Ninja Mission, or something to do with the Card-Jitsu game. Either way, we'll probably find out very soon.

PSA - Some of you are wondering what's keeping Herbert P. Bear occupied these days and what he's got in store for the Penguin Secret Agency. I don't want to give much away right now, but we do want you to know that the team's working on something big. For now, keep up the things you're doing to keep the island safe, and I'll keep you in the loop when I've got more info.

It's been a long time since we've had a new mission in CP, so I'm really excited!

Starting the Hunt

To get started on the Club Penguin Halloween Hunt, just click on the jack-o-lantern in the upper-right corner of the screen. This will show you silhouettes of the candy pieces you need to find and give you your first clue.

Jack-O-Lantern in Ski Lodge Attic

The first piece of candy is hidden in the Ski Lodge attic. It's behind the couches.

Candy Corn at the Dock

The second piece of candy is hidden inside the big carved pumpkin at the Dock. The hole in the pumpkin is candy corn shaped, which is kind of a big clue!

Lollipop at the Pet Shop

The third piece of candy is hidden on top of the shelves in the back of the Pet Shop.

Candy at the Cove

The fourth piece of candy is hidden behind the purple book that the ghost is reading at the Cove.

Jack-O-Lantern at the Pool

To get the fifth piece of candy, click on the unlit jack-o-lantern light hanging from the ceiling at the underground pool.

Candy at the Soccer Pitch

To get the sixth piece of candy, waddle over to the soccer pitch and click on the box in the stadium lights up on the right.

Candy Apple in the Forest

To get the seventh piece of candy, go to the Forest and move your mouse over the rustling bush in the back. The candy apple will pop out.

Candy at the Mine

The last piece of candy is inside the Mine in the green slime pool in the bottom right corner.

Congratulations on finishing the Club Penguin Halloween Hunt for 2009. When you've found all eight pieces, you can click on the claim your prize button to get the Jack O' Lanterns background for your player card.

Free Item: Pumpkin Antennae

Everyone can get the free pumpkin antennae over at the Plaza. They are in a big box right outside.

Halloween Hunt

Of course the annual Halloween Hunt is back. This is a fun scavenger hunt where you find several candy pieces hidden around Club Penguin. See my Halloween Hunt 2009 page for all the secrets and hidden candy locations.

Club Penguin Haunted House

The Club Penguin Haunted House is new this year. I'll write a whole post dedicated to it, but the short version is that Club Penguin members can go inside the Haunted House, which is at the Mine. You can also get there by clicking on the sign in Town or at the Plaza. There are a lot of cool little secrets and hidden things inside the Haunted House, but the big thing that members will want is up at the top of the stairs. It's another free item, the Pumpkin Head.

Secret Lab

If you go into the mine cave and click on the green lantern, it will open up a section of the wall, revealing a staircase that leads down to a Secret Lab. This area is for members only, and there are a few cool things here. The first is the Monster Maker catalog, which sells a lot of strange costume pieces that you can mix and match for some really weird costumes. All of the items are new except for the Big Bad Wool Hooves, which appeared in the Fairy Fables play costume catalog.

But that's not all that happening in the Secret Lab! Gary the Gadget Guy is making random appearances in the lab and moving from server to server. I'm still putting the finishing touches on my Gary Tracker, which I hope to have online very soon. In the meantime, he's easy to find if you wait in the lab on popular servers.

There are also plenty of other fun Halloween things hidden around the island, so take time to explore each area to see all the cool and spooky Halloween tricks and treats!

To get the hat, go inside the Coffee Shop, where the main party is. There is a piñata hanging up on the ceiling right above where the stairs to the book room are. Click on the piñata once to make it swing and the party hat will drop out of it and land on the floor. It can be a little tough to spot if a lot of penguins are standing around. But even if they are, just walk over to that spot to pick up the hat.

The hat is blue and purple striped. Anyone can get it because it's a free item. But it will only be available during the party and remember it's a one-day event. So waddle on over there now!
