So far the iPad clones we’ve introduced on this site all came from Shenzhen district. Today we are giving an exception.Tainell , a company from China’s most modern city Shanghai, days ago on a fair showed off an iPad clone. Here we don’t get all the details, or we lack most of them. What we were able to share with you is that Tainell iPad clone gets a 10 inches display with multi-touch support, and runs heavy Windows 7 OS, with the same thickness of 14mm as Apple iPad. According to one of the company’s representatives on that fair, its battery life could support as long as 10 hours for video displaying. WOW, we just felt that’s too good.

Inle ePad M700 looks like a bigger iPhone

Shenzhen based manufacturer Inle brings an Android powered tablet called ePad M700. The word ePad tells implies that it must be something that looks similar to Apple’s world’s hottest product iPad.But rather to iPad, it’s more like a bigger iPhone. It’s powered by Rockchip RK2808, a dual core chip that has good performance to handle videos with a 600Mhz ARM9 based CPU and a 540Mhz DSP.So as the biggest selling point it boasts to be capable of supporting 720p videos, compatible to a number of video formats including AVI, 3GP/MP4, RM/RMVB, FLV, MKV, MOV, WMV, and a HDMI port is also equipped to let you output videos. Other specs include a 7 inches 800 * 480, 128MB RAM, 2GB flash storage,2000mAh battery, with dimensions of 206*121*15.5mm.The price is quite tempting, just 999 Yuan (around $147 USD), but the 128MB RAM and Android 1.6 OS have damaged everything.

Teclast K3SE 999 Yuan E-ink ebook reader

Teclast brings another ebook reader to the market with a name K3SE. You can take it as an upgrade version of the company’s K3 reader, but it comes with a much more cheaper price, which is only 999 Yuan (about $147 USD) for its 4GB version, compared to K3’s 1499 Yuan. It gets a 6 inches E-ink display, and supports numerous ebook formats, including PDF, EPUB, HTML, SKT, FB2. It supports bookmark for PDF ebooks. What’s more, it gets TTS features that could read the ebook’s content for you, which is quite useful when you are doing long time reading and would like to relax your eyes for a break.

ACHO C301 7 inches color ebook reader

Like what other Chinese PMP manufacturers have been doing, ACHO is adding ebook reader functions and also a reader look to its portable media players, out of which the first product is called C301. It gets a 7 inches 800*480 display, and supports PDF, PDB, EPUB, FB2, TXT ebooks. Besides display ebooks, you can use it as a full functional portable media players. It can play MKV, AVI, RM, RMVB, MP4, MOV, VOB, DAT, FLV, 3GP videos, with subtitle supports. Moreover, it supports 720 HD videos and H.264 codec. But it seems you still need to wait for some more time before it arrives. Currently we still don’t know the price and its availability.

Sony’s Vaio P has ever arose a clone wave in China, and we’ve see so many its clones in the past year. Due to technology and cost control, these Shanzhai products of curse were not as slim as Sony Vaio P that one could put it in a Jean pocket. Most of them are 10 inches. Now the Shenzhen based company Minbo is bringing a more larger one, which is 11.6 inches, and is called L100. As you could see from the pictures, As a netbook, L100 looks really stylish. It features a 1.66G Intel ATOM N450 processor, 1GB RAM, and 160GB hard drive. Sadly we haven’t heard any words about the price and availability.

TESO LPad allegedly the most resembling iPad clone

TESO was the first one in China to show the world an iPad clone back in the early March, if you still remember. Now about 5 months have passed, the company is till polishing its iPad clone product line.Two days ago Teso showed off their most recent iPad clone on a fair hold in China. The clone is called LPad, and we have no idea why they didn’t called it TPad which surely is a more proper name.

TESO looks like the iPad from all sides, and was alleged to be the most resembling one so far. It gets a 9.7 inches display, and is 14mm at thickness.The company’s previous iPad clones all run on Windows 7, but it’s said this one would come with three versions, runs Windows 7, meego, Android2.2 respectively. The Windows 7 will be powered by a 1.2GHZ Intel Atom z515 processor, and the others by a 1.6GHZ Atom z650 processor. The Windows 7 version will arrive in Autumn, and the other versions will follow in September. Still no words about the price.

Another iPad clone powered by Rockchip RK2808

Haven’t seen enough Chinese iPad clones? Here’s another one for you. This clone features a 10 inches 1024×600 resistive touchscreen, with weight of 640g, a little lighter than the real one. As many other Chinese iPad clones, this one is also powered by a 600Mhz RK2808 chip, and gets 128MB RAM and 4GB storage, Android 1.5 OS, 720p video support. The RAM is definitely too small, even for a smartphone today. It’s almost sure that there would be no future upgrade.This is limited by the RK2808 chip, for the biggest RAM it could support is 128MB. So the RK2808 seems to have been out of date now. We could just put our expect on its next generation chip RK2818.

Motorola Quench MB501 and Quench XT3 Android Handset Launched in Taiwan

In the flame of the Droid X and Droid 2, Motorola launched two android handsets in Taiwan, the Quenchtm MB501 and Quenchtm XT3. This is the forth time the company bringing its Android handset to Taiwan. These two phones are targeted at the middle end market. Quenchtm MB501 is priced at NT$11,890 (about $370 USD), and Quenchtm XT3 is at NT$10,890 ( about $338 USD).

Quenchtm MB501 features a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7200A processor, a 3.1 inches 320 x 480 display, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, and a 5-megapxel camera, while Quenchtm XT3 brings a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor, a 3.2 inches capacitive touchscreen, and a 3-megapixel camera.
