Newsmy A65HD is another PMP from the company that boats 1080p support. It comes with a 6 inches 800×480 display for you videos. It supports numerous codecs, which includes the following ones that we are very happy to see on a HD PMP: H.264, MPEG-2 and VC-1. The video formats it supports are also very comprehensive, RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV, MP4, VOB, MOV, 3GP, MPG, DAT, MKV, TS/TP, PMP, M2TS all on the list. When there is big display around you, you definitely would feel the 6 inches display is too tiny, for this case it provides a HDMI port and a TV-out port for you. Besides, it gets a USB2.0 port for data transfer. Other information like availability and price is still not disclosed. We’re just told it’s coming soon.

After leaving Google China, Kaifu Lee launched its startup Innovation Works in Beijing. According to Kaifu Lee, the mission of his company is to build China’s Silicon Alley, by helping those young Chinese entrepreneurs who’ve got innovative ideas but lack of financial support to realize their dreams. Last week, Kaifu Lee was interviewed by Chinese medias on Abu Dhabi Media Summit, and his words about his recruitment requires has stirred quite a bit of buzz on the web.

Mr. LEE said, they received 7000 resumes just on the day the company announced its establishment, and the applicants that were selected for the next round had to answer three questions: How many lines of codes you’ve written? Are you willing to work 80 hours a week at minimum? Are you willing to accept a sharp decrease in your salary?

He said if China want to challenge Silicon Valley’s dominating position in innovation, this kind of diligence is a must.

MID as a new category appearing on the market has been over a year, but It still fighting for its existence. Because almost all things a MID could do also can be done by a smartphone, but most of them can’t make phone calls and send messages. The most attractive point on this MID Witspod W8 may be that it can make phone calls, but it still lacks of SMS support, so it can’t completely replace your handset. But if you are this kind of people that are seldom to send messages, then it might be your cup of tea.

Witspod w8 is a very nicely built MID, with heavily rounded corners. It’s powered by Maemo OS, packing a 806MHz Marvell PXA 320 processor, a 4.3 inches touchscreen, 128MB of RAM, 256MB of ROM, 3.2-megapixel camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, WIFI and CDMA2000 3G connectivity. This MID right now has been available in China, with a pretty nice price 3200 Yuan (about $470 USD ).

This video in fact was posted 8 months ago, but right now it’s mentioned quite often in HP-related news on Chinese medias and topics on Chinese forums. World Consumer Day March 15 is just two days ahead, and HP is experiencing hard days in China rencently. 170 consumers teamed up last week to sigh up a formal file to complain HP’s faulty notebooks and services to China product-quality agency, which has won wide supports from Chinese consumers, for more details about this insident, read this report from WSJ.

The video shows a man knocking, tearing and stamping with silent anger to break a HP DV20002154 notebook , which miserably became asunder finally. This took place right in one of HP after-sale service offices in China. This man with a username ‘big white twotwo’ wrote on the same page with the video on youku.com that he bought this notebook on Feb 14, 2007, and problems of the motherboard had never stopped since the beginning of the third month he bought the computer, the first time he have the motherboard replaced, and he had it replaced three more times in the following days. That’s the fifth time, but the HP saff told him the guaranty period had expired and he had to pay 3000 Yuan (about $441 USD) if he want to replace the motherboard. Definitely it’s not worth, and a HP staff told him from its hotline that ”The problems that happened to his notebook are normal” so he had to pay. He said he’s in bad moods in those days so he directly broke it right there, and after that he felt ‘completely relieved ‘.

About half of a year ago, every single new MID could catch catch lots of attention from the industry when it made appearance. Now it’s different, but HOTT’s MID500, which they called it ‘iPad killer’, is still worth you pausing a while for it, not for the specs, but for its unbelievably cheap price, only $92 dollars for distributors. It can’t be a mistake, the HOTT staff in the video repeated this more than one time. So will it be possible this $94 dollars cause a collapse to the MID pricing? Let’s wait and see.

The first impression for this 4.8″ Rockchip RK2808 based MID is clean and nice, but it looks quite familiar. Not 100% sure, this MID seems to be a rebanded model of RAmos W7.

Eston N97 was announced back in last Novenber. Now about four months have passed, the real product finally walked out of Eston’s plants, and made an appearance on the web. Folks on Chinese website midbbs.cn have got the opportunity ahead of all of us to put their hands on this fresh device, and kindly took some pictures to share with all of us, the Internet users.

First of all, we can see a clean design, with slightly rounded corner, and black frame around the display. Of course, if you like, you can add that the design arouses something in your mind about the iiiiiiiiiiiPhone. Obviously there’s a track ball under the display.

Beside the Android OS pre-installed on the device, Eston N97 can runs Windows CE also. Well, nothing new at all, we’ve seem three-boots capable MID, like SmartDevices’ SmartQ v7, which is smart enough to run Android, Windows CE and Ubuntu. This multi-OS stuff doesn’t mean too much really. We don’t see much people around install two systems on their PC, so why on a MID?

Last of all, the some specs you might care to know are a 624MHZ Marvell PXA303 processor, a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen, Android 1.5 OS, Wi-Fi, a 2800mAh alleged to support 4 hours working time, ability to view and edit word, excel files. The storage stays unknown, and so does the price. The device is now available for pre-order in China.

It seems the Shenzhai players have created a new history. Today a HTC Diamond2 was featured on Chinese website M8cool that has the ability to runs Android OS and Windows Mobile 6.5, with a 600Mhz processor and a WQVGA display. We’ve heard news before someone has made a dual boot phone, but later that news turned out to be fake. This one is different, coming with a video to claim its truth. From the video we do see a dual-boot screen and seems both OS runs without problems, but whether the phone can make phone calls on these two systems stays mysterios, and before more evidences come out, we reserve our skepticism.

Don’t you think HP Mini 5102 is beautiful? Well, at least Shenzhen manufacturer Tenda thinks it is. They admire HP Mini 5102 so much that they’ve brought a clone to let more consumers to own HP Mini 5102’s beauty. This clone is named as T26, with extreme resemblance to its original, and even the package box is similar too. One difference is that, compared to HP Mini 5102’s 10 inches display, the one Tenda T-26 has is a little bigger, 11.6 inches at size, with resolutions of 1366×768.

Tenda T-26 is equipped a 1.66G Intel Atom N450 processor, integrated GMA3150 Graphics, 1GB DDR2， 160GB hard drive, 1.3 megapixels webcam, 3 USB ports, and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi. It has a spare PCI-E slot, so you can add a 3G module yourself.

It seems Tenda offers Atom N270 and N280 other two versions. We’ll still don’t know the price for the N450 version, but the prices for the other two versions has unveiled, 1700+ Yuan for the N70 version and 1800+ Yuan for the N80 version.
