We received a short email last night from blogger Jo, who runs the “Eye Heart Glasses” blog. Basically all the email said was “Hi, nice to discover you exist! I like your your site and I love your range“. It’s always good to get feedback like that. It makes it all worthwhile when you know people are actually taking an interest in what you do. We thoroughly enjoyed browsing Jo’s blog and feltvery much inspired by it. Looks like Jo certainly has an eye for great looking frames and a soft spot for nice glasses in particular.

Nelson’s “Womens Lifestyle Expo” 2010 – Day 1 Impressions

Well, it was an early start for us today again. After having set up the stand at the expo venue yesterday, this morning it received the finishing touches. The Expo opened to the public at 10.00am. So far we had a great response and met many new people from Nelson, Richmond and Motueka. Unfortunately we spoiled all of our business cards right at the beginning of the day by dropping a full cup of coffee on them. Serves us right, I suppose, because we probably should have had our coffee before we came to the show. Here some impressions of day 1:

Together with the new BOZ collection, we also received some of the new JF Rey frames. Both are designed by Jean Francois Rey with the JF Rey collection being his “signature collection”. Inspiration is taken from modern architecture. JF Rey uses innovative colours, materials and finishes. He has become a trend-setter in the optical industry while maintaining his own distinctive look.

We will have the JF Rey range available to view at this weekends Womens Lifestyle Expo in Trafalgar Centre in Nelson. So come and visit if you can.

New BOZ arrivals – February 2010 – Part 2

Here area couple of new BOZ models for the smaller face. Model BOZ Lio, both, in red and in with the leopard pattern are a nice combination of metal and acetate. Many acetate frames are sometimes difficult to adjust, however, the Lios are equipped with adjustable nose pads giving you the comfort of a metal frame with the sophisticated but heavier look of the acetate front.

The BOZ Kassie is a full metal frame. With it’s antique copper colour, it features an unusual finish.

The BOZ Mambo again, is a metal/acetate combination frame, with the multi coloured acetate being used as the background for the metal ornaments colour coordinated with the mat finish burnt orange of the plain, but elegant front of the frame.
