The annual Maywood Park garage sale is June 28th – 30th this year!

If you’re interested in participating in sale please download and print this form, fill it out and return it to Karen Meyer at 9519 NE Campaign along with the $10 fee. Please make checks payable to ‘Karen Meyer’.

The fee will go to cover flyers, signs, balloons and garage sale brochure with map and lists of items at each location.

Forms must be received no later than June 20, 2013!

Cesspool Questionnaire

In an effort to make an informed decision regarding the possible sewering in the City of Maywood Park and or the replacement of failed cesspools we need to gather information in order to understand the number of homes with original cesspools still in use, and the number and age of cesspools that have been replaced. Please help us by filling out the form here.

Get ready for spring yard cleanup! Dumpster Daze is Saturday, May 18th from 8am until 2pm and located near the north end of Maywood Place.

Only yard debris is accepted and it must be loose or in paper yard debris bags (no plastic). Please note that this is only available for Maywood Park residents only!

The cost is $10 per load.

Stick around afterward and join us for doughnuts, coffee, and hotdogs!

Council Meetings moved to 1st and 3rd Monday

The City of Maywood Park Council meetings will now be held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month. We have a much larger meeting venue in Room 125. As always the meetings begin at 7:00pm.

The first annual Maywood Park 5K run / walk

The first annual Maywood Park 5K run / walk is coming Saturday Oct 6th, 2012. Come join your neighbors and run / walk every street in our City.

The race will start at 8:00 AM Saturday morning at the cul-de-sac at Skidmore and 92nd. Registrations will be open until August 2nd, 2012. This event is rain or shine, so be prepared for Maywood’s worst! We also have a route map (PDF) available.

Pick up your race packet Friday October 5th between 4:30 and 6:00 PM at Athletes Lounge (SW 26th and Vaughn) or on the race day at 7:00 AM at the Start.

The new Maywood Park Event Calendar is up and running! It is tied in with Google Calendar to allow for anyone with a linked Google account to add events. This should help immensely with keeping the events fresh and up to date.
