Three months down the line the dog gave birth to six puppies. Six months later the dog was pregnant again, and nine months on it gave birth to another dozen puppies. The pattern continued.

On the eighteenth month the dog approached the elephant questioning, "Are you sure that you are pregnant? We became pregnant on the same date, I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs, yet you are still pregnant. What’s going on?”.
The elephant replied, "There is something I want you to understand. What I am carrying is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. When my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch in admiration, what I carry draws attention.

So what I’m carrying is mighty and great.” Don’t lose faith when you see others receive answers to their prayers. I am sorry that so often the biggest obstacle to God has been Christians. Christians who have had so much to say with our mouths and so little to show with our lives. I am sorry that so often we have forgotten the Christ of our Christianity.

Forgive us. Forgive us for the embarrassing things we have done in the name of God.

The other night I headed into downtown Philly for a stroll with some friends from out of town. We walked down to Penn's Landing along the river, where there are street performers, artists, musicians. We passed a great magician who did some pretty sweet tricks like pour change out of his iPhone, and then there was a preacher. He wasn't quite as captivating as the magician. He stood on a box, yelling into a microphone, and beside him was a coffin with a fake dead body inside. He talked about how we are all going to die and go to hell if we don't know Jesus.

Some folks snickered. Some told him to shut the hell up. A couple of teenagers tried to steal the dead body in the coffin. All I could do was think to myself, I want to jump up on a box beside him and yell at the top of my lungs, "God is not a monster." Maybe next time I will.

The more I have read the Bible and studied the life of Jesus, the more I have become convinced that Christianity spreads best not through force but through fascination. But over the past few decades our Christianity, at least here in the United States, has become less and less fascinating. We have given the atheists less and less to disbelieve. And the sort of Christianity many of us have seen on TV and heard on the radio looks less and less like Jesus.

At one point Gandhi was asked if he was a Christian, and he said, essentially, "I sure love Jesus, but the Christians seem so unlike their Christ." A recent study showed that the top three perceptions of Christians in the U. S. among young non-Christians are that Christians are 1) antigay, 2) judgmental, and 3) hypocritical. So what we have here is a bit of an image crisis, and much of that reputation is well deserved. That's the ugly stuff. And that's why I begin by saying that I'm sorry.

Now for the good news.

I want to invite you to consider that maybe the televangelists and street preachers are wrong — and that God really is love. Maybe the fruits of the Spirit really are beautiful things like peace, patience, kindness, joy, love, goodness, and not the ugly things that have come to characterize religion, or politics, for that matter. (If there is anything I have learned from liberals and conservatives, it's that you can have great answers and still be mean... and that just as important as being right is being nice.)

The Bible that I read says that God did not send Jesus to condemn the world but to save it... it was because "God so loved the world." That is the God I know, and I long for others to know. I did not choose to devote my life to Jesus because I was scared to death of hell or because I wanted crowns in heaven... but because he is good. For those of you who are on a sincere spiritual journey, I hope that you do not reject Christ because of Christians. We have always been a messed-up bunch, and somehow God has survived the embarrassing things we do in His name. At the core of our "Gospel" is the message that Jesus came "not [for] the healthy... but the sick." And if you choose Jesus, may it not be simply because of a fear of hell or hope for mansions in heaven.

Don't get me wrong, I still believe in the afterlife, but too often all the church has done is promise the world that there is life after death and use it as a ticket to ignore the hells around us. I am convinced that the Christian Gospel has as much to do with this life as the next, and that the message of that Gospel is not just about going up when we die but about bringing God's Kingdom down. It was Jesus who taught us to pray that God's will be done "on earth as it is in heaven." On earth.

One of Jesus' most scandalous stories is the story of the Good Samaritan. As sentimental as we may have made it, the original story was about a man who gets beat up and left on the side of the road. A priest passes by. A Levite, the quintessential religious guy, also passes by on the other side (perhaps late for a meeting at church). And then comes the Samaritan... you can almost imagine a snicker in the Jewish crowd. Jews did not talk to Samaritans, or even walk through Samaria. But the Samaritan stops and takes care of the guy in the ditch and is lifted up as the hero of the story. I'm sure some of the listeners were ticked. According to the religious elite, Samaritans did not keep the right rules, and they did not have sound doctrine... but Jesus shows that true faith has to work itself out in a way that is Good News to the most bruised and broken person lying in the ditch.
It is so simple, but the pious forget this lesson constantly. God may indeed be evident in a priest, but God is just as likely to be at work through a Samaritan or a prostitute. In fact the Scripture is brimful of God using folks like a lying prostitute named Rahab, an adulterous king named David... at one point God even speaks to a guy named Balaam through his donkey. Some say God spoke to Balaam through his ass and has been speaking through asses ever since. So if God should choose to use us, then we should be grateful but not think too highly of ourselves. And if upon meeting someone we think God could never use, we should think again.

After all, Jesus says to the religious elite who looked down on everybody else: "The tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the Kingdom ahead of you." And we wonder what got him killed?

I have a friend in the UK who talks about "dirty theology" — that we have a God who is always using dirt to bring life and healing and redemption, a God who shows up in the most unlikely and scandalous ways. After all, the whole story begins with God reaching down from heaven, picking up some dirt, and breathing life into it. At one point, Jesus takes some mud, spits in it, and wipes it on a blind man's eyes to heal him. (The priests and producers of anointing oil were not happy that day.)

In fact, the entire story of Jesus is about a God who did not just want to stay "out there" but who moves into the neighborhood, a neighborhood where folks said, "Nothing good could come." It is this Jesus who was accused of being a glutton and drunkard and rabble-rouser for hanging out with all of society's rejects, and who died on the imperial cross of Rome reserved for bandits and failed messiahs. This is why the triumph over the cross was a triumph over everything ugly we do to ourselves and to others. It is the final promise that love wins.

It is this Jesus who was born in a stank manger in the middle of a genocide. That is the God that we are just as likely to find in the streets as in the sanctuary, who can redeem revolutionaries and tax collectors, the oppressed and the oppressors... a God who is saving some of us from the ghettos of poverty, and some of us from the ghettos of wealth.

In closing, to those who have closed the door on religion — I was recently asked by a non-Christian friend if I thought he was going to hell. I said, "I hope not. It will be hard to enjoy heaven without you." If those of us who believe in God do not believe God's grace is big enough to save the whole world... well, we should at least pray that it is.
Your brother,
Shane

USB Stick Scam

<iframe allow="autoplay;
we should never be afraid to talk about mental health issues and suicide they are issues that need to be talked about not brushed under the carpet, we should not alienate people who, suffer from mental health issues but help them, we should talk about Mental health the same as physical health.

Getting help in an emergency if you are feeling suicidal
If you don't feel you can keep yourself safe right now, seek immediate help.

go to any hospital A&E department (sometimes known as the emergency department)

call 999 and ask for an ambulance if you can't get to A&E

ask someone else to contact 999 for you or take you to A&E immediately

If you need some support right now, but don't want to go to A&E, here are some other options for you to try:

contact the Samaritans on freephone 116 123, they're open 24 hours and are there to listen
Suicidal feelings can range from being preoccupied by abstract thoughts about ending your life, or feeling that people would be better off without you, to thinking about methods of suicide, or making clear plans to take your own life

If you are feeling suicidal, you might be scared or confused by these feelings. But you are not alone. Many people think about suicide at some point in their lifetime.

What does it feel like to be suicidal?

Everyone's experience of suicidal feelings is unique to them. You might feel unable to cope with the enduring difficult feelings you are experiencing. You may feel less like you want to die and more like you cannot go on living the life you have.

These feelings may build over time or might fluctuate from moment to moment. And it's common to not understand why you feel this way.

Warning signs to look out for

feeling hopeless, like there is no point in living

being tearful and overwhelmed by negative thoughts

feeling unbearable pain that you can't imagine ending

feeling useless, unwanted or unneeded by others

desperate, as if you have no other choice

feeling like everyone would be better off without you

feeling cut off from your body or physically numb

poor sleep with early waking

change in appetite, weight gain or loss

no desire to take care of yourself, for example neglecting your physical appearance

wanting to avoid others

self-loathing and low self-esteem

urges to self-harm

How long will I feel suicidal?

Suicidal feelings can be overwhelming. How long these feelings last differs for everyone. It is common to feel as if you'll never be happy or hopeful again. But with support and self-help, the majority of people who have felt suicidal go on to live fulfilling lives. The earlier you let someone know how you're feeling, the quicker you'll be able to get support to overcome these feelings. However, it can feel difficult to open up to people. You may want others to understand what you're going through, but you might feel: Suicidal thoughts aren't permanent - things do improve. You can find your motivation to live again

more help
http://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/types-of-mental-health-problems/suicidal-feelings/?gclid=Cj0KEQjw3s6-BRC3kKL_86XDvq4BEiQAAUqtZwaUq9Q-K122vK8CSoILuKPSn7m7eMn4zENosuJiV-AaAtEI8P8HAQ#.V9Rug5grKaF

Supporting someone who feels suicidal
http://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/types-of-mental-health-problems/suicide-supporting-someone-else/#.V9RwsZgrKaF

If there’s something troubling you, then get in touch.
if you need to talk to someone please check out the hotlines above or check out
http://www.youmatter.suicidepreventionlifeline.org/
http://www.suicide.org/index.html

If you from the UK checkout
http://www.samaritans.org/
or phone 08457 909090

suicide does not solve anything, it does not make it better, it is only taking you away from the chance of it getting better.

Keeping children safe

Before allowing your child independence, you should take steps to ensure his or her safety this is a really useful and important article for parents on how to keep your children safe and how to teach your child correct behavior around strangers. You should show these illustrations to your little one and discuss all the dangerous situations together.

10 Essential Pieces of Advice for How To Protect Your Child article

Not revealing your child’s name

Do not write your child’s name on his or her personal belongings; do not attach a name fob to their backpack; do not put your little one’s name on his or her lunch box or thermos. Your child’s things shouldn’t give strangers access to private information. When addressing a child by their name, an unfamiliar person immediately wins his or her trust, which can lead to all kinds of dangerous manipulation.

A much better idea is to write your phone number instead — this will prove helpful if anything gets lost or stolen.

Running away from cars in the opposite direction

We teach our children not to get into cars with strangers, and that’s important. But your child should learn one more rule: if a car pulls up near you or starts to follow you with people inside the car attempting to draw your attention, you should run quickly in the direction opposite to the movement of the vehicle. This will help you buy time to call for help.

Inventing a family password

If someone says to your child, “Come with me. I’ll take you to your mom and dad!“ the first thing your little one should do is ask this stranger, ”What are my parents’ names? And what’s our family password?" We advise you to invent with your child a code phrase for emergency situations (for instance, in case you need to ask an acquaintance to collect your child from daycare or school). Use something unexpected (and, therefore, impossible to guess), like “Fluffy Orange.”

Installing tracking apps

Thanks to their GPS function, such apps allow you to monitor your child’s precise whereabouts and the battery level of his or her phone.

Wearing an emergency button watch

Gadgets with an inbuilt emergency button come in the form of watches, key chains, bracelets, or medallions. By means of a special mobile application, parents can constantly keep an eye on their child’s location. And if the child presses the button, the signal is received by the parents or the police.

Shouting "I don’t know him/her!"

Tell your child that, when grabbed by a stranger, it is more than ok to behave “badly“: to bite, kick, claw, and try to attract attention at any cost, even if the situation is very scary. Also, your child should keep shouting loudly, ”I don’t know him/her! He/she wants to take me away!"

Breaking off conversations and keeping a distance

Your child should know that he/she is not obliged to talk to strangers, so, if the conversation lasts longer than 5-7 seconds, it’s best to leave and head to a safe location. While the conversation lasts, a child should always stand at a distance of 6.5-8 feet away from a stranger; if a stranger tries to come closer, it is important to take a step back. Practice this situation with your child, show him/her what a distance of 6.5 feet looks like, and stress that it should be maintained no matter what.

Avoid sharing the elevator with strangers

Teach your child to wait for the elevator with his/her back to the wall so as to be able to see anyone approach. And, if it’s a stranger or someone barely familiar, your little one should invent any excuse not to enter the elevator with this person. The best options are to pretend to have forgotten something or to go and check the mailbox. If the person persists in his/her invitations to step into the elevator, your child must politely reply, "My parents say that I should only ride the elevator alone or with our neighbors." Tell your child that if a stranger tries to drag him/her inside the cabin by force or to gag his/her mouth, it is crucially important to fight, scream, and bite until adults come to the rescue.

Not letting strangers know that their parents are away

Explain to your child that if there’s a call at the door yet no one can be seen through the peephole and no answer comes to the question "Who’s there?" he or she mustn’t open the door even the tiniest little bit to see what’s going on. Also, a child mustn’t let a stranger know that his/her parents are away — not even if the stranger claims to be their friend or says that he/she is a municipal worker. If a stranger is very persistent and starts trying to break in, the child must phone their parents or neighbors at once.

Avoiding meeting online friends in person

Warn your child that, in today’s world, criminals can find their prey via the Internet and that if someone online says he’s "Mike from next door," this person might not necessarily be the 10-year-old boy he claims to be. Innocuous online chat can make us vulnerable to dangerous individuals. Your child must remember never to tell strangers, not even children, his/her phone number, address, or name. Nor should your little one send personal photos to online pals or tell them when and where he or she likes to hang out. And your child should always decline invitations to meet in person.

More articles

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jim-higley/child-safety_b_1703608.html

http://www.bbc.co.uk/usingthebbc/privacy/keeping-my-children-safe-online/

bit, we need love others (or your neighbour as the translation says above) as we love ourselves, so if you don't love yourself how can you really love others or be the person God made you, to be.

When we Love God first, all our other relationships work including, the relationship with yourself. God wants us to love others and we need to love ourselves, we are totally unique, God made us that way for a reason, and so are the people around you, we are valued by God and God loves us. God wants you to love being you, God does not want you to try to be anyone else, he wants you to be you, he also wants you to love the people around you and show God's love to them, God has given us gifts and talents and he wants us to use them for his glory and to love others.

Here is where I get Honest, there have been times in my life where I didn't love/like myself, I have Dyspraxia with crossed over Dyslexia, I was was bullied a lot at school and other places after I left school as an Adult, this generated a low self esteem and lack of confidence issues, it also damaged me Emotionally and I thought why are people doing this to me, it must be me and I started to not like/love myself because of it, I started putting up barriers, because I didn't want anyone else to hurt me. But God moved in and started to show me that I am Loved, because God loved me, and other people cared about me, he also showed me I can Love myself, this helped me to love others as Jesus Does, yes I still have problems sometimes, But God is healing me.

The Baggage we carry around, and the barriers we put around ourselves, make it hard for us to love others, yes we need to be careful and not get into situations that hurt us, but God wants us to removed the Baggage and Barriers and give them to him, God wants to heal the pain and the hurt, So we can love others.

We may think we are Messy broken people but God loves us and wants us to reach other messy broken people and show them his love, God wants to take away the mess and wants to mend the brokenness in us and in others. We may hate ourselves because we feel messy and broken, we may be messy for a number of reasons, through sin etc, we may feel broken because people have hurt us in the past but God wants to clean us up and remove our brokenness, God wants to help to love ourselves so we can love others. We may feel stinky and unloved but God Loves us, have you ever watched a mother clean up her messy baby, she does it willingly because she loves her child, God is the same but even more

I found a cool article by a mother who as she was cleaning up her child, she made the connection that God does the same to us <a href="http://foreverymom.com/mom-gold/i-was-chasing-my-toddler-to-change-a-messy-diaper-then-god-dropped-a-bomb-about-my-messy-heart/" On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church *, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

catholic – adjective (*) - including a wide variety of things; all-embracing. synonyms: diverse, diversified, wide, broad, broadbased, eclectic, indiscriminate; open-minded, broadminded, liberal, tolerant, undogmatic, flexible, unbigoted, unprejudiced, unsectarianecumenical; general, universal, widespread, global, worldwide, comprehensive all-encompassing all-embracing, all-inclusive, unlimited
The link below tells you of the history of the Apostles’ Creed https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Apostles’_Creed

Apostles’ Creed is an early statement of Christian belief, basis of faith and what the church which is the people should be like the church should never be inward looking but outward looking, in the creed it states Catholic, (note this word is not referring to the Roman Catholic church as such) Catholic as we can see above means all-embracing, the church should be diverse and all, embracing it should love and welcomes everyone and want to help people.

How far have we come, when some of our churches are inward looking, we need to go back to basics, we need a new view of God, the church which I said is the people i.e us and we need a new view on how god views us.

God’s love and revelation - God’s love is unconditional you can, not earn God’s love, God’s love is unlimited you can, not put god in a box, he is unlimited so we need an unlimited view of him and allow him to work in our lives. God is for us and has our best interest at heart and wants to bless us, even if we mess up God still loves us and will not let us down, we need a daily revelation of who, God is and what he thinks of us. We need to change our view of God and how he views us. We need to ask God and read the word to find out what God thinks of us daily.

The Father heart of god and his holiness - God wants us to come to him as we are, but he loves us so much he does not want us to remain the way we were, so he changes us into the people he wants us to be. God does not want us to carry the baggage of the past around with us and wants to heal us of it. God sent us his son to die on the cross to take away our sin and pay the price for that sin which is death, he died in our place, because he loved us. He wanted to save us from our shelves and our destructive patterns and make us right with him. We need to allow God to take away our baggage and allow him to heal us

The cross images and victory - Jesus paid a price for our sin because he was the only one that could do it. We have been brought from slavery, of death and sin, this means we are free. The price for that freedom was high and a sacrifice, the only one that could pay it, was God so he sent himself, the only response, to it is gratitude and to accept what he has done as a gift to us.

He has restored our relationship with god and he restores our identity and purpose for being. Jesus turns victims into victors and Jesus wants us to help people. Jesus has wiped the slate clean, he does not keep a record of our sins and gives us a new identity; we don’t need to hold onto shame. In the light of this, we need to get rid of negative things people have said to us or things we are ashamed of, by writing them down praying over them and throwing them away.

The Nature and the correct handling of God’s word - Sometimes our life is like the computer term GIGO which means Garbage in, Garbage out, in other words, if we plant bad things i.e., things that harm us spiritually, we produce fruit that should not be there. We need the plant good seed into our lives i.e. the word and what God thinks of us, we need to spend time with God, we can sometimes be too busy running around for God that we forget the spend time with God.

God’s words do not return void if God says it will happen. God’s word can harm people if used wrongly, we need to learn to use it correctly and we should always use God’s word in love. In the light of this we need to build in down time in our lives where we can spend time with God and using the use the wasted times in my life i.e. traveling by bus productively by reading the word, praying and spending time with God

Correct handling, purpose of God’s word - God word has the power to direct us, and empower us, set us free and tell us the truth about us, but used incorrectly it can harm people we should always use God’s word to build people up and use it with love and grace to help people and set them free. Jesus is our role model and we should always use God’s word as Jesus used the Word and we need the Holy Spirit to do this. God words don’t return void if God says it will happen, we need to trust God that the words placed on our lives will come true. God has a plan and a purpose for our life we need to trust God that he will lead us into it.

Faith - You can be a Christian a long time and not know fully who Jesus is, we need an intimate relationship with him, to know who he is, We need to go deeper and have a more intimate relationship with him, how we view God determines how we view our world and our identity. We need to have passion, to know who he is and please him, worship is not just singing songs on a Sunday, worship should be our whole life, and it’s not about us it’s all about him.

We should be in God’s amazing story not him in ours. We need to trust who God is, if God says it will happen, God words don’t return void, also God knows us and knows what we need. We need to trust God and praise God in faith that things, we are praying for will come about
Releasing power of faith - God has a plan for our lives, God knows what he wants us to do, God knows our destiny and the way to go, God prepares us for the thing he wants us to do. To grow in faith, we need to operate faith by doing what he wants us to do. When we pray about situations we need to be specific. Living in faith can lead to God giving us dreams and visions, God can give us specific words in our lives that impact our lives, we need to keep these words and stand on them. We need to find out what God wants us to do and do it

New covenant blessing and living in the power - We had messed up, we could not meet God’s perfect target for us to live by, so God sent his son Jesus to willingly die in our place and pay the price, because only he could meet the target and he loved us. God wants us to spend quality time with him, God wants us to be in his Amazing Story, he wants us to do life with him and do amazing things for god.

We should not rule our, selves out from God using us. God gives us the Holy Spirit to empower us for the work he wants us to do in our lives, and he gives the Holy Spirit freely and without limit. The same God who made the earth and the heavens is inside you. God wants to bless us and God wants the very best for us, God knows what we need, god does not want us to live in mediocre lives. We should allow God to use us more, and find out what he wants us to do, and spend more time with him.

Worship - Worship should connect you to God, and it should change you and restore us, Worship is powerful, when we worship things happen. Worship is not something we do it’s who we are we should be worshippers it’s in our DNA, it involves all of us, not just singing songs on Sunday morning, we should be Extravagant with our worship, we should give our all for God. Worship comes out of a loving relationship with God and is our hearts response to a loving God, worship or service comes from our heart not because we have to do it but we want to do it, because we love him and he loves us, we should fall in love with him daily, we need to worship in the secret place, Worship is all about God, When we worship it’s not for us, it’s not for anyone else it’s all for God, God is the audience of one and all we do is for god.

You can, not earn God’s love he loves us anyway and loves to be with us. One of the root words of Worship is service, we need to serve God and Others, we need to reach out to the Least, The last and The lost and be Jesus and take Jesus to them, we need to allow him to love people.

God does not need our gifts and talents, he wants you. When things go wrong we should praise God, even when it’s hard to worship, god meets us in worship. We should fall in love with daily, and give him our all, the only way is to spend time with him

Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is a person, not an it, he is not gas, or an object he is a him, he has a personality and can be hurt or grieved, he also speaks. The Holy Spirit is like Jesus living inside us and helps us live life and to pray. Holy Spirit guides us, the Holy Spirit is a gentleman and never forces us to do something we don’t want to do and The Holy Spirit never goes against the Gods word or will. Holy Spirit helps understand we are loved and accepted by God and confirms we are Gods children and belong to God Holy Spirit transforms us into the people God wants us to be and helps us do the things he wants us do. We need to receive the Holy Spirit daily, Holy Spirit Glorifies Jesus and points to him

Holy Spirit helps understand we are loved and accepted by God and confirms we are Gods children and belong to God Holy Spirit transforms us into the people God wants us to be and helps us do the things he wants us to do. We need to receive the Holy Spirit daily, Holy Spirit Glorifies Jesus and points to him

Conclusion - God’s love is unconditional you cannot earn God’s love, you cannot put god in a box, he is unlimited so we need an unlimited view of him.

God has an amazing plan for our lives and he wants to bless us God wants us in his amazing story, we should be in Gods story not he in ours God is for us not against us,

God wants us to come to him as we are, but he loves us so much he does not want us to remain the way we were but changes us into the people God wants us to be.

When Jesus died on the cross he restored our relationship with god and he restores our identity and purpose for being, it’s all about God, it’s not about me, we are doing everything for God because he first loved us. God’s words do not return void if God says it will happen.

God’s word has the power to direct us, and empower us, set us free and tell us the truth about us, but used incorrectly it can harm people which is something I have never thought before of that the word can harm people and that we should use it in love. Worship is in our DNA. God gives us the Holy Spirit to empower us for the work he wants us to do in our lives, and he gives the Holy Spirit freely and without limit.

World suicide prevention day

Some useful information from MIND for World suicide prevention day/week/month/year and beyond

we should never be afraid to talk about mental health issues and suicide they are issues that need to be talked about not brushed under the carpet, we should not alienate people who, suffer from mental health issues but help them, we should talk about Mental health the same as physical health.

If you need some support right now, but don't want to go to A&E, here are some other options for you to try: contact the Samaritans on freephone 116 123, they're open 24 hours and are there to listen

Mother Teresa

<div class="separator" 26 August 1910 – 5 September 1997) was an Albanian-Indian[1] Roman Catholic nun and missionary.[6] She was born in Skopje (modern Republic of Macedonia), then part of the Kosovo Vilayet in the Ottoman Empire. After having lived in Macedonia for eighteen years, she moved to Ireland and then to India, where she lived for most of her life.

Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity, a Roman Catholic religious congregation, which in 2012 consisted of over 4,500 sisters and was active in 133 countries. They run homes for people dying of HIV/AIDS, leprosy and tuberculosis; soup kitchens; dispensaries and mobile clinics; children's and family counselling programmes; orphanages; and schools. Members must adhere to the vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience, as well as a fourth vow, to give "wholehearted free service to the poorest of the poor".[7]

Pocketful Of Faith

Check out These cool amazing songs from Pocketful Of Faith by Tim Hughes, Listen to the songs and let them minister to you

Tim Hughes - Pocketful Of Faith: (Official Lyric Video) //cool song

Tim Hughes - Plans (Official Lyric Video) //cool song

when we, give ourselves to god and serve others he does amazing things through us and in us, he has amazing plans for our life and he wants us to be in his amazing story, God does not call the equipped he equips the called.

If you would let to buy the album it is available from the following sources

iTunes: http://smarturl.it/Thpocketful
GooglePlay - http://bit.ly/THpocketfulGP
Integrity Direct - http://www.integritydirect.com/pocketful-of-faith.html

Doctor Watson?

Should I Say Watson supercomputer? Watson managed to make its diagnosis after doctors from the University of Tokyo’s Institute of Medical Science was fed it the patient’s genetic data, which was then compared to information from 20 million oncological studies. This analysis found a different diagnosis for the type of leukemia from which the patient suffered, and it suggested a different form of treatment, which proved far more effective than the original methods doctors had been using up to that point."
This is so cool people should the power of Watson more to solve problems that can change the world, this opens a window on to the future where computers help in the diagnosis of illnesses, but I hope Computer don't replace Doctors completely. mote Information

https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Watson_(computer)

http://siliconangle.com/blog/2016/08/05/watson-correctly-diagnoses-woman-after-doctors-were-stumped/

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/ibm-watson-proper-diagnosis-doctors-stumped-article-1.2741857

Yusra Mardini

this is a cool inspirational story of Yusra Mardini a refugee and now competing in Olympic games 2016, it teaches no matter what happens to you, even when it seems, all hope is lost, never give up!

“How tough is your journey? A year ago, 17 year old Yusra Mardini was stuck in a broken down dinghy with 20 other Syrian refugees between Turkey and Greece. Facing death like so many who had failed to make the trip, she and her sister jumped in the water and swam the boat all the way to land, saving everyone on board (almost all who couldn’t swim).

The story could end there but - incredibly - today Yusra will be representing no country, with no flag and no National Anthem, when she enters the Olympic Stadium to compete as an Olympic Athlete as part of the very first Olympic Refugee Squad. If you lost everything - your home, your family, your country…

Would you quit on life? Would you lay low and rebuild? Or would you - like Yusra - go all in and make a stand for your greatness? In 2012, Yusra’s family home was destroyed in the Daraya Massacre, when Assad’s forces killed hundreds of his own citizens in their homes. For the next three years, Yusra and her family tried to return to normality, but school was cancelled practically every week “or someone is shooting, and then you have to run.” So Yusra and her sister made a bid to escape - getting smuggled to the Turkish coast to board a dinghy heading to Greece.

As Mardini remembers, “There were 200, 300 people there, everyone waiting until there are no police in the sea so they can go.” Yusra’s crowded dingy’s engine died within 20 minutes of leaving. Only four in the boat could swim, but the two men who jumped in with Yusra and her sister soon gave up. Yusra says “I’m thinking, what? I’m a swimmer, and I’m going to die in the water in the end?”

So it was up to the two girls to keep going for the next three and a half hours: “The little kid kept looking at me, scared, so I was doing all these funny faces.” They made it to Lesbos, then were smuggled through Serbia to Hungary, Austria and finally, Germany - where she spent the winter queueing for days at a time to get asylum papers.

So how did she end up at the Olympics? Yusra says “I remember everything… I never forget. But it’s the thing that’s pushing me actually to do more and more. Crying in the corner, that’s just not me.” She continued her passion for swimming, and joined a local swimming club in Berlin, where her talent was seen by the National Team and IOC.

She decided to make a bid for the Olympics despite having no country to compete for, and qualified for the 100m Freestyle & 100m Butterfly. Now - one year after her swim across the Aegean Sea - Yusra is competing in the Rio Olympics as part of 10 athletes in the very first Refugee Olympic Team. She will be in the Stadium tonight, for the opening ceremony, saying “I want to show everyone that, after the pain, after the storm, comes calm days. I want to inspire them to do something good in their lives.”

However tough things get, remember it’s the tough times that make you tougher. So when you’ve got the option to sink or swim, keep on swimming. Pierre de Coubertin, who founded the modern Olympics, said about the Games: “The important thing in life is not the triumph, but the struggle.”

Yusra adds to that: “My message at these Games: Never give up.”“
Check out her fan page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/swim.yusra/

data storage that could record the history of humankind

Do you want to keep 360tb for life on a glass disc, backup entire libraries of data or more, with no damage over age and with thermal stability up to 1,000°C, well now you can, scientists at Southampton university have made a major step in making something that sounds like it came from science fiction into reality.

below are quotes from Southampton university's website about the project and can be found at http://www.southampton.ac.uk/news/2016/02/5d-data-storage-update.page

"The storage allows unprecedented properties including 360 TB/disc data capacity, thermal stability up to 1,000°C and virtually unlimited lifetime at room temperature (13.8 billion years at 190°C ) opening a new era of eternal data archiving. As a very stable and safe form of portable memory, the technology could be highly useful for organisations with big archives, such as national archives, museums and libraries, to preserve their information and records."

"Now, major documents from human history such as Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), Newton’s Opticks, Magna Carta and Kings James Bible, have been saved as digital copies that could survive the human race. A copy of the UDHR encoded to 5D data storage was recently presented to UNESCO by the ORC at the International Year of Light (IYL) closing ceremony in Mexico."

The documents were recorded using ultrafast laser, producing extremely short and intense pulses of light. The file is written in three layers of nanostructured dots separated by five micrometres (one millionth of a metre). The self-assembled nanostructures change the way light travels through glass, modifying polarisation of light that can then be read by combination of optical microscope and a polariser, similar to that found in Polaroid sunglasses"

Professor Peter Kazansky, from the ORC, says: “It is thrilling to think that we have created the technology to preserve documents and information and store it in space for future generations. This technology can secure the last evidence of our civilisation: all we’ve learnt will not be forgotten.”

below is a video shows a disc being made using an laser
