Vampire Diaries hottie Ian Somerhalder popularly known for his portrayal as “Damon Salvatore” on the hit CW series will visit the Philippines for the first time.

The Hollywood Actor tweeted today, (May 17, 2012 Manila time) “See you soon PHILIPPINES! Let’s rock this #PENSHOPPEAllStars.” On his official twitter account (@iansomerhalder). No specific date was announced yet for his visit but for sure, fans will be as crazy when they get to meet and greet Ian Somerhalder in the flesh.

Ian is the new addition of international stars to endorse the local Filipino clothing line PENSHOPPE. Other Hollywood endorser includes Ed Westwick of CW’s Gossip Girl, Singer/Actor Zac Efron and Thai superstar Mario Maurer. Ian Somerhalder will be gracing on the campaign called Penshoppe All Stars but the clothing apparel hasn’t announced anything yet about the said event.

Though the Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley fight has not happening yet (June 09, 2012), the pound for pound king’s name was one of the trending topics on twitter today, May 16, 2012 (manila time, May 15 in the U.S.). This is all because of airing his opinion about U.S. President Barack Obama’s favorable stand on gay marriage in the U.S.

Netizens couldn’t help but react negatively on Manny’s interview that happened last May 12, 2012 by Granville Ampong of National Conservative Examiner and published on examiner.com, the boxing king and Saranggani Representative expressed his side about the issue, “God’s words first… obey God’s law first before considering the laws of man.”  “God only expects man and woman to be together and to be legally married, only if they so are in love with each other.” Manny added.

The statement that made a lot of people quite disgusted especially in the U.S. was when Manny Pacquaio stated Leviticus 20:13 a verse from the bible saying, “If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.” This burst into lots of negative comments about the boxing champ’s thoughts on the issue flooding twitter timelines with harsh and off words coming from users mostly in the U.S.

As we remember, Manny Pacquiao is a devoted Catholic and recently announced his “renewal of faith” and being active on the church teaching words of God.

Manny Pacquaio was set to have an interview on a certain Mall in Los Angeles called The Grove for a segment of the U.S. entertainment television show, EXTRA! but was barred due to the things he says about the gay marriage issue. “Based on news reports of statements made by Mr. Pacquiao we have made it be known that he is not welcome at The Grove and will not be interviewed here now or in the future. The Grove is a gathering place for all Angelenos and not a place for intolerance.” The Grove management says.
My stand on this issue? Well, everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. This is a democratic country we live in. If Manny is against the law of Man, so be it! We couldn’t push someone to believe in what we believe is right and true. Next time, just ask Manny Pacquiao about boxing okay!

For the past couple of days, the “airport fight” of actor, Raymart Santiago against veteran journalist Mon Tulfo was all around the news and the paper. The two recently had an ultimate “UFC” battle last May 06, 2012 that happened in Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

According to Raymart’s story, He was with his wife, actress Claudine Baretto and their two kids, just landed the flight from a summer vacation in Boracay with some of their friends when Cebu Pacific Air ground crews told them that their luggage was one of the many that was offloaded on their way back to Manila. “Ang nangyari ho, nakialam siya doon sa nangyari. Nagrereklamo lang po kami doon sa Cebu Pacific” Raymart says. The actor pointed out that he saw Mon Tulfo capturing shots on his wife, Claudine while talking hysterically to the airline crew. ““Tinanong ko lang naman siya kung ano ang ginagawa niya. Ngumisi siya sa akin at sinuntok at sinipa niya ako.”

The actual fight was caught in an amateur video from someone who has witnessed the entire scene that went viral on youtube after the incident. The said video according to Raymart was the last part of the whole scene. “Yong ginawa niya sa aking panununtok at paninipa, siguro mapapatawad ko siya doon, e. Pero ‘yong ginawa niya sa asawa ko at sa mga anak ko, ‘yon ang nakakapagpainit ng ulo ko talaga.” Raymart referring to Mon whom he accused of kicking his wife and pushing her hardly on the counter of Cebu Air right in front of their kids.

Mon Tulfo’s side of the story. “Walang katotohanan!” said the journalist. According to Mon, he just came from his flight from Davao on that same day when he heard a woman complaining loudly about their offloaded luggages.  The journalist took his cellphone to capture what was happening then suddenly a guy (Raymart) confronted him and asked him “Ano po yung ginagawa n’yo?” The guy according to Mon was trying to get his phone and when he hid it on his vest, the guy punched him. “Hindi ako ang nauna!” Mon contrary to Raymart’s statement.

On Mon Tulfo’s first TV interview, He admitted that he did kicked Claudinne Baretto but after a few days, he retracted his statement. “Wala akong dahilan na sipain o sumipa dahil, unang-una, hindi ko sila kakilala. Pangalawa, hindi naman nila ako kalaban.Pangatlo, nagmamadali akong lumabas ng terminal building dahil yung aking sasakyan ay nakaabang na sa akin sa labas At, gutom na gutom na ako.” Mon on his 24-Oras interview. Meanwhile, Mon’s younger siblings, Raffy, Ben and Erwin showed their sympathy and disgust to what had happened to their elder brother. The trio who had a show called T3 on TV5 burst their angst with a lot of threats to Raymart Santiago. The next day, after airing the said episode, Erwin made an apology to the viewers about the things that they said on the show.

As of the moment, the couple Raymart and Claudine formally filed Physical Injury and Child Abuse charges against Mon Tulfo. Meanwhile, NAIA told the press that the CCTV that was supposed to be the key to reveal who was the one who started the brawl says that there was NO footage recorded due to the fight occurred at the baggage conveyor area, which was not covered by airport CCTV cameras.

Finally, actress Demi Moore is no longer @MrsKutcher on twitter! After 6 months of her split up with Two and a half Men actor, Ashton Kutcher, Demi decided to change her twitter account name to @JustDemi.

Demi Moore twitted, “So hard finding a name that was fun somewhat playful and available”. “It could grow on me! … Thanks everyone for your help in finding my new name!”

After a lot of speculations and blind item write ups, finally it’s been confirmed by an unknown source of Pep.ph that kapamilya actor and actress John Lloyd Cruz and Shaina Magdayao called it quits. After dating for nearly 2 years, the couple has finally ended their relationship.

A lot of speculations and rumors has been spreading that the cause of the break up was a “third party” involving the name of fellow kapamilya actress, Angelica Panganiban who is also facing intrigues regarding her rocking relationship with actor/sportsman/model Derek Ramsay. But the “insider” vehemently denied Angelica’s involvement between the two. The scooper revealed that it was all an invented false story since John Lloyd and Angelica were shooting a movie on Star Cinema for Star Magic’s 20^th anniversary offer. Some of the scenes were shot in Vietnam where the two get to know each other closer since it’s their first time to work together in a movie.

The source shockingly revealed that Shaina and John Lloyd broke up months ago that happened at the house of the actress while having a party. According to the Pep’s source, Shaina’s big sister, Shiela Magdayao was also there and talked to the couple and said “enough of it”. Shaina Magdayao 22, is 5 years younger than John Lloyd Cruz who is 28. But to think that the relationship just ended because of immaturity doesn’t explain the main reason of the break up. Wow it’s been a while since our last update, there are some big changes to Vhincent’s life lately and it’s his work environment.  Vhincent is now working as an OFW in Malaysia, and writing regarding to Philippine celebrity is close to null. So here’s what I’m planning to do in the coming days, weeks months, instead of writing about local celebrities we’ll be expanding the coverage of this blog it will no longer be a gossip blog about Pinoy celebrities we’ll be writing anything that comes in interest. It can be about technology, your latest cameras, notebooks, tablets or the latest treatment to your acne, kitchen sinks or simply anything that would get some people interested.

I’m not sure if this is good news for some readers but unfortunately for sure it’s not a good news for those people who are always interested in reading the latest happening/news in the Philippine local Entertainment.

Philippine football team the Azkals are currently working hard training to prepare for their upcoming game on March against the Mongolia Blue wolves.  According to Senator Miguel Zubiri the Azkals will be making Baguio as their training ground, most probably because of the altitude and the cold weather.  Do you wonder why in high altitude?  Even Philippine boxing phenomenon Manny Pacquaio would always go to Baguio to train.

It is simply because in these high altitude areas the air is much thinner compared in the ground levels.  Practicing in high altitude would mean less oxygen, you’ll get tired quickly or basically run out of air during vigorous activities.  Getting use to this environment will make a person tougher most especially in the ground levels.  As for Azkals it’s not just the altitude it’s the weather also since Mongolia has an extreme cold weather.

Team Azkals is not just busy training they are also trying to propagate this game in the Philippines.  Making the people aware that Pinoys can also be good in other things , other than basketball.   The team do provide hands-on training to other children giving them first-hand coaching.  I guessed they are doing a good job.

Hope more people will support the team Azkal not just moral and prayer support but also monetary support, as we all know the sports committee here in the Philippine doesn’t give or don’t have enough budget to provide training and equipment to our athletes not just for the football players but with other athletes as well.
