Our government demands that we test all drugs on animals prior to human use. The animal testing provides no accuracy about what these chemicals do to humans. Researchers even admit that applying animal data to humans is a “leap of faith.” No wonder, each year tens of thousands of people get sick from legal pharmaceuticals. And many of them die. And no wonder our diseases go uncured. The researchers say: “Your child or your dog” but it is both child and dog who are being experimented on. Look at the testing of children for the new swine flu vaccine. As the animal experimentation status quo is, everyone profits. Money is the reason why it all exists. Who’s money is this? YOURS. Every time we buy a drug, pay our insurance premiums, visit a physician, hospital or clinic. The largest funds to medical research in America is The National Institutes of Heath. They spend well over billion per year on animal experimentation. It is widely held that individuals shouldn’t act cruelly or inhumanely towards animals. Yet, severe cruelty, torture, and death to animals in medical research is supposed to be excepted on the grounds that it is saving human lives. Clearly it is not. This video is part one of a series that will be covering the fraudulent science called vivisection and it’s murder of animals and people.
Eight in 10 mothers say theyre the ones responsible for choosing their childrens doctors, taking them to appointments, and managing the follow-up care. And over 10 percent of all women are now caring for a sick or elderly relative. Our entire lives as women, we are asked to bear much of the responsibility for our familys health and well-being. And yet, we often face special challenges when it comes to our own health insurance. Part of it has to do with the fact that women are more likely than men to do part-time work or to work in a small business — in jobs that are less likely to offer the kind of insurance that you really need. In fact, over half of all women in this country dont have the option of getting insurance through the workplace at all. But even women who do have insurance face inequities under the status quo. Because women make less than 80 cents for every dollar their male coworkers make, its more difficult for them to pay their premiums — especially when studies show that theyre paying far more than men for the same coverage. And I dont think anyone here will be surprised to learn that a recent study found that one-third of all women have either used up savings, taken on debt, or given up basic necessities just to pay their medical bills. And as many of you know firsthand, these kinds of problems — the problems of coverage and cost — only grow worse when you get older, making quality, affordable coverage harder to come by just — as weve seen today and …

“The only cure for our problem is a single payer, national, universal, health financing program like Medicare for All. This is not socialized medicine, but an efficient way to pool risk and share the unexpected costs of illness. Fifty percent of our population has virtually no medical expenses while five percent consume 25 percent of all personal medical care costs. This why we need the insurance principle: unexpected medical expenses are relatively rare and can be huge and should be spread across the whole population. Financial costs related to illness cause over 50 percent of personal bankruptcies in the United States. Over 46 million Americans are rationed out of the medical system (and during this economic catastrophe this number is growing by 10000 people per day) 46 million people are subject to excess morbidity and mortality because they cannot afford financing and the insurance industry cannot profit from them. Health insurance is important and necessary. We need an efficient, national, publicaly sponsored, universal health financing system. This is the only treatment that will be a cure.”

Lately in the media fat people are being targeted yet again about various topics. Kevin Smith recently was publicly humiliated on a plane and this has led to many other media outlets to take their potshots at fat people. I feel it is disgrace when celebrities who have made their living about how they have been discriminated against feel that fat people should be taxed and get what they deserve by being humiliated in public etc as I watched on Real Time last week. Guest Wanda Sykes did not have nice things to say about fat people in general and I’m sure most people can agree with me that since she has made her living making jokes about the discrimination she’s faced through life that she would have a little more compassion and would not be guilty of the same hate and predjudice against us. I am not here to say fat is where it’s at. I am here to say that it is NOT ok to discriminate against us, or publicly hate and bash people in this country because of how they look. We were all born with the same rights that many special interest groups have fought for since the 50’s up to today to gain equality and be treated with the respect they are entitled to. Nobody has the right to tell me what to do with my body, what I should and should not eat, what diet I should go on or whether or not I should kill myself. What people really should be outraged about is how corporations are killing us by the food, and addictive product they sell such as alcohol and tobacco products containing …
