I read the reviews and was prepared either way (good sound or poor). I have to agree with those who reported that the sound is extremely poor. Speakers are in the back. I plan on adding a couple small speakers.

That being said, this is a great deal on an HDTV and a very good product. All other attributes are very good or excellent. It is the perfect size for a bedroom and I love the DVD player which was tough to find on TVs this size.

I was a little reluctant to buy this product because of the complaints about sound volume and sound quality. For older people I can see their point. A 26″ t.v. was considered large many years ago. If this T.V. was put in a large living room the sound might not seem powerful enough to comfortably fill the room. In a bedroom though, it is perfect. The picture is clear and rich. It also has sound adjustments in the menu so that you can adjust the bass, treble, etc. I would definately recommend this T.V for a bedroom or a smaller living room. The built in DVD player makes it especially nice. It keeps everything compact and helps keep the clutter down in a childs room.

This is a great tv but recently the price of this Panasonic TC-L32X2 32 has sky rocketed to $406.00 USD, which is totally unreasonable for this tv. First and primarily I’d like to point out that you can easily buy a brand new sony bravia tv at $404.00 USD from best buy or walmart which will blow away this tv, even though they are both running at 720p and 60hz. The thing is that the Panasonic TC-L32X2 32 only has a contrast ratio of 18,000-1 which is feeble compared to the sony bravia which is 100,000-1, you will notice the picture quality difference while watching HD movies or blue ray, and trust me it makes a big difference. As long as this tv is selling above 360.00 USD it is unreasonably priced, do yourself a favor and buy a sony bravia32 720p tv.

I just wanted a decent 32″ LCD TV for my bedroom. I already own a 2008 50″ Panasonic Plasma 50PZ80U which I have had no problems with and looks great. I never really liked LCDs, but for my bedroom I didnt really care to have a 32″, plasma, or 1080p for that size.

Anyway, I got my HD cable box hooked up and played with the TV’s settings. The TV looks great and reproduces colors nicely. Doesn’t have the blacks of my plasma but its decent. I tried looking for picture settings that people have posted up for this TV on forums but coudln’t find any. Haven’t hooked up my PS3 to it, but I don’t really plan to.

The TV has an SD card slot, it works fine, loads pictures quick and plays slideshows.

I don’t plan on watching blu-rays on this TV so i can’t give a review of how blu-rays look on this. I just watch HD cable.

For quite some time i had been searching for a 32″ flatscreen that didn’t cost $500. When i came across this TV, i had no hesitation to order it! I play my xbox 360 on it and the picture is wonderful. What’s even cooler, is that the TV has built in surround sound, and bass and treble adjustments. I was using component cables with my xbox 360, and i thought the sound and picture was alright. When i switched over to HDMI, all of the blur went away, and the picture was stunning. The sound is AMAZING for the size of this TV!

Another amazing thing is that the 32″ size is plenty satisfying. I have another 50″ flatscreen and i have no desire to move into the other room, because this TV is just fine. It is PERFECT for a bedroom.

Shipping was free, and only took 3 days to get it! Only $390.98, shipped.

-You can adjust every aspect of the picture and sound to optimize it towards your preferences

-iPod dock! Just plug in any ipod and play videos and music! It charges it too!

-Bezel of the TV looks like carbon fiber, and makes the bezel fingerprint proof

-The speakers produce AMAZING, DEEP, and REALISTIC sound!

-The TV is only capable of 720p, but if i set my Xbox 360 to 1080p, it still works (lol)

-Plays slideshows, has game mode to enhance picture. Game mode is adjustable!!! I set it up perfect!

-Very energy efficient

-It wasn’t even $400!

-You can fine tune the zoom setting to get rid of the annoying black bars on the top and bottom of some tv channels

-My cable feed sucks and only comes in at 480i, the lowest resolution possible. There is NO distortion despite this!

CONS

-Sleep timer can only be set to an Hour and a half (90 mins)

-Only one output, Digital fiber optic (It’d be nice if it had standard RCA output to connect analog speakers)

-The remote is harder than hell to use in the dark, because there are so many buttons; it isn’t backlit or glow in the dark.

Other notes: Out of the Box, if your room is well lit, the screen adjusts itself to be bright. If you cut off lighting in the room, the screen will darken. This is because there is an ambient light sensor on the TV, so it knows when to adjust the screen. This is actually pretty annoying, but all you have to do to disable it, is turn off ” C.A.T.S ”

EDIT: This TV is fully 1080p compliant; it isn’t a glitch on my xbox 360. After setting the xbox to 1080p, if you click the info button on the remote (Which displays info about the video feed) it will say 1080p. This tv is also capable of 1080i.

If this isn’t proof enough, i can tell a difference in the sharpness in the picture bewteen 720p and 1080p, 1080p being sharper of course
