Things are really moving now with loads of updates to document. Most of these arise from belated utilisation of a cache of images supplied by Brian Nicholson (Ikon). Continued apologies for the lack of updates during the last few months but as summer draws to an end things round here are beginning to hot up (well, relatively). Some big updates are planned in the coming months and then there's the long-awaited redesign. Hell, there may even be a new Scream City some time soon!

After the flurry of activity around Hooky's Closer in Manchester and the Hacienda Then and Now exhibition (full reports still to come) things have gone a little quieter at Cerysmatic Towers. Please excuse us if we don't update quite as often as we would like to over the coming months.

Development work on the new site continues (albeit at a slower pace due to other pressures) but now down to less than 200 pages to go.

Work continues unabated on the new Cerysmatic Factory (nearly 1000 out of 1400 pages updated so that they will work with the new design and to generally improve and correct glitches) and this is inevitably affecting the number of new pages that can be created on this, the current site. However, it was a pleasure to recently unveil the new pages on Paradise: The New Order Fanzine with a big heap of thanks to David Smith. Other updates have included The Durutti Column live at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester 30 April 2011 and Jez Kerr live at the Social in London on 28 March (an excellent gig btw).

I have also just fixed a lingering glitch which has probably been annoying email subscribers for a few weeks, namely the appearance of a login screen when viewing their HTML emails with images. This is connected to the previous front page glitch detailed in the previous update which is in turn connected to the aforementioned site update.

Apologies for the continued appearance of a login screen on the news page for most of this week. This was due to a error caused by the ongoing development work on the next generation of the website. Everything should now be in order but please let me know if you spot anything still wrong.
