After finally owning up to what he did, Robert ‘Joe’ Halderman, the man who attempted to slander the good name that is David Letterman, stood outside a New York courthouse yesterday to apologize to David and his family for what he had done.

He then announced that he would not be doing any interviews or taking any questions and abruptly turned to leave.

Were not sure what look Kate Garraway was going for when she went to the TRIC Awards at the Grosvenor House hotel in London earlier today but whatever style statement she was tying out, she failed miserably at pulling off.

A black bodysuit paired with a long ponytail, a bright pink belt plus pink accessories is a look which may have been flattering for one of the Girls Aloud ladies about eight years ago, but maybe not on Kate Garraway in 2010. Major fail Kate Garraway, major fail.

Well thats what Jordan says anyway; according to Vicky the pair never even spoke while at the bash and thats certainly what these pictures seem to confirm. Although potentially the two gals couldve had a quick chat in the corner away from the prying eyes of the press, but its unlikely isnt it?

Treating herself to a day of retail therapy, Britney Spears was spotted out shopping with her mother, Lynne Spears, in Los Angeles, California on Monday afternoon (March 8).

Joined by a helping hand, the “Womanizer singer and her mom gallivanted from shop to shop, loading up on a bagful of purchases at the Barneys New York department store.

Currently enjoying time off after a draining world tour, Britney is reaping the rewards from her impressive comeback – as she is among the nominees at the upcoming Juno awards.

With the winner to be announced on April 18th, Miss Spears’ latest album “Circus” is among the select few discs vying for International Album of the Year honors.

While on the Oscar red carpet last night, Zac Efron confessed that he is “amazed” and has become a real admirer of Twilight star Robert Pattinson!

He told reporters that he thought R-Patz was making “great choices” with his career and is handling his fame “really well.” He continued to gush, saying: “He’s a superstar. He really deserves all this.”

He sure does, but so do you! We can’t tell you how proud we were of you last night, strutting down the red carpet, presenting a big award, and leaving Whatsherface home to fend for herself!

We liked the original, but it’s so rare that a remake can do a film justice!

Supposedly a remake is in the works of the 1989 Disney live-action film Honey, I Shrunk The Kids. It wouldn’t be another sequel since Rick Moranis isn’t into Hollywood much these days, but rather a reinterpretation of the original movie.

We don’t think this is the greatest idea, what do U think?

Taking place at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, the “Sex and the City” star was joined by hubby Matthew Broderick as she smiled while navigating through the jam-packed red carpet.

Sure to be quite the extravagant affair, the 2010 Oscars are set to be hosted by Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin.

At the end of the night, the top movies will compete for Best Picture, with nominees including “Avatar,” “A Serious Man,” An Education,” “Blind Side,” “The Hurt Locker,” “District 9,” “Up,” “Up in the Air,” “Inglorious Basterds” and “Precious”.

As we were just saying earlier today; the feud between Katie Price and Peter Andre seems as though its never going to end.

In the latest battle between the two, Katie Price has threatened to tell all about her ex-hubby in her new book because she feels like Pete is trying to ruin her life.

“Pete’s trying to ruin my life. I’ve moved on, why can’t he?” said Price at a recent party in LA. She added:

“Peter is dragging me through the courts at every opportunity. He wants me to lose money and make me unhappy. It’s sad Pete’s having to do that, it’s like he wants me to lose everything I’ve worked so hard for.

“I don’t want him to be unhappy but people need to realise he’s not what the public think he is. I want him to move on like I have, but he won’t. He just wants to make my life a misery, make me out as the baddie.

So in a bizarre twist of logic, Katie has decided to reveal all the sordid details about her marriage to Pete in a brand spanking new book, which seems like a strange way of trying to get someone to leave you alone if you ask us but hey what do we know.

“You just wait Katie said: it’s time the truth came out on me and Pete. I’m not going to hold anything back. I’d be very scared if I was him.”

Oh pipe down Jordan will you! Meanwhile we spotted Peter leaving his Brighton home earlier today -he was looking surprisingly smiley, all things considered

So in case youve had your head buried in the sand for the past week then youve probably already heard that the Oscars are taking place this evening.

Whilst we know that on one level the Oscars are about rewarding those people who make truly good films (boring!), on another level we also realise that the Oscars are more about glamorous parties, red-carpet fashion faux-pas and horrendous style disasters (yay!).

In fact theres nothing we love more than watching celebrities walk down the red carpet in hideous frocks around Oscars time followed by a good old star-studded knees up.

Which brings us nicely to our point, last night ahead of the Oscars a whole bunch of celeby-types such as Ian Somerhalder, Rachel Zoe, Diane Kruger, Joshua Jasckon, Elizabeth Banks, Ginnifer Goodwin and Rose McGowan got together for a Chanel pre-Oscars bash at Madeo Restaurant in LA.

There were no style disasters at yesterdays Chanel pre-party but we remain hopeful that well see at least one stinker on the red carpet tonight. Fingers crossed
