Ashley, you are a well balanced, mature, patient, super intelligent young women (I can go on and on..).  Most of all you love those around you whether they are your friend or foe.  God has taken hold of you and you have reached back and taken hold of him, it is beautiful to see.  My prayer for you is found in Joshua 22:5  May you love the Lord your God and walk in His ways.  May you keep His commands and hold fast to Him always.  May you serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul (no matter what you end up doing).  May you always remember God's promises are true to you!  Even during days you don't feel like they are.  Remind yourself of those promises-those words will be your joy.

Sharon, my prayer for you is out of Romans 8:38-39, Sharon be reminded that neither death nor life, angels nor powers, nor this present age nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate God from loving YOU.  Trust that God will console you when you mourn, He will give you beauty for your ashes, and give you a garment of praise for your spirit of heaviness so that YOU will be called a tree of righteousness (Isaiah 61:3).  I believe He has already begun this blessing in your life and longs to complete His work in you until you are fully restored.  You are beautiful and loved.

Chloie, my prayer for you is that you always know that God knows your name.  That you always look for His lamp unto your feet for He is a light unto your path.  May you be blessed during this time for now it is your time to grow.

I think that every shot really displayed the nature of the depth of each girls personality.

Meghan is a stunning site.  She is intelligent yet saucy, sweet yet spicy, a good girl yet playful, and most of all enjoys all the good things of life to the fullest of her being.

Meghan has these giagantic blue eyes that just seem to draw people in. 

We had a lot of fun chasing around little slivers of light that just seemed to light up Meghan and her personality.  It was a lot of fun for all of us. 
 
 
 
 
 
Meghan is a lawyer and does some volunteer work for people who were in the most dire of need.  This shows her heart and her character.  She uses what God has given her to benefit those who
desperately needed council.

Olive of course did her job beautifully.  She is such my little muse.  Even though I think I had lost my reflector in the grasses and Jeremy was loading the van from a day of Christmas card photographing (others of course).  We still can overcome!
 

Then, Hazel did not want to hold the christmas wreath....so I thought ok, stand in the center of it, that will still work right?  I can be flexible, nope.....

So may your Christmas be better than this......

No worries, my real christmas photos of the kids and maybe family (I hope) will be coming after Christmas again this year.  I hope to take advantage of the WI snow.
 

These were just for fun.  Of course the girls get way more photos taken of them than Ethan.  Ethan is in school and by the time he is home the light is gone or he just wants to play.  I can honor that.

Hazel is my little smiler.  She has her hands into everything.  I really can't get anything finished while she is awake.  She is so cute that why would I want to work anyway, I just love to watch the girls play together. 
 

They are so sweet together.  I really hope that someday they look back at all the pictures I have of them together and see how much they love and cared for one another.  They are truly known by one another, it is amazing.  May God bless all my kids and their relationship with one another. Erin and Frank, when I think about you a smile comes to my face.  The two of you are so kind and gracious as well as engaging and social.  I always enjoy being around the two of you.

Erin you are so beautiful.  Your nature is so genuine and pure.  I feel you are not out for show but always thinking of others first, connecting with them and showing them kindness.  You have a gentle spirit and a wonderful soul.
 

Yes, this was a huge junk pile, but we liked the old steps we just had to climb them.  Erin did get stuck there because her dress got caught in brier thorns.  I think it was worth it.
 
 
 

I love this shot, because there was a little discussion about if Frank really grew up on a farm or not...still makes me laugh.
 
 

Erin's grace shows up here, I love the way she looks at Frank.  She tops it off by naturally placing her hand near her heart while they spoke to one another.

When Marlee speaks, she gets your attention because she uses your name after ever other word.   It cracked me up the entire time I was photographing her.  She also gets your attention because she is so CUTE...and full of personality.

Little Bennett is soft bundle of baby goodness and smells like baby powder.  She is more mild than Marlee but just as sweet.
 
 

I love it when babies get so excited, they wiggle around and make that face like they are going to tell you something wonderful.
 

Bennett also needs to have someone cheek to cheek with her to fall asleep. It was so cute to watch and within 3 minutes was out like a light.
 
 
 

Mom's are so beautiful, Megan you especially!  You just know how to hang out with your girls and let them be kids.  They are so comfortable with you!
 

We had a little mini shoot as well with Marlee and Bennett's cousins.  Adorable.

My second shooter called the night before the wedding and had a family emergency.  Luckily I am blessed with an amazing photographer friend (and mentor) who was willing to step in and help me out.  I literally am not sure what I would done without you Tara.  Tara Mauldin is an amazing photographer (as you will see) but more importantly an amazing friend to me.  This shot was hers.

Now on to Rich.  Rich is a soft spoken contractor with a gentle spirit and an honest soul.  He was easy to work with especially after he saw his beautiful bride.

Laura and Rich choose to see each other before the ceremony, so we did a big reveal.  The look on their faces says it all.  I just love it when the bride and groom choose to do this because these times are so special.

 
Tara rented a tilt shift lens and got this amazing image. 
The tilt shift lens has the ability to make things look like mini's...so perfect.

Laura and Rich had the photobooth at their reception and it was a big hit to say the least.   I am pretty sure I was photographing at the booth from the time it opened until the end of the reception.  I had purchased some vintage hats,veils and glasses and that added to everybody's spunk.  It was a lot of fun!

Little Mollie was so adorable in her dainty gown.  It also was such a treat to meet her great aunt who allowed us to photograph the children in her amazing historic home.

This kid knows how to smile.  It is all or nothing.

Macie seems to enjoy getting her picture taken, but she is not one of those sit and smile girls.  Once you get her talking and looking at the world around her she is completely comfortable with the camera.

I will say this over and over, the best gift you can give your kids is a sibling.
Macie is such a great and loving big sister.

It was Collin's birthday that day, he was very patient with us because he had to wait until after the photoshoot to open his gifts.  He was a sweet and loving soul, yet all boy.

Patcha Family, it was such a joy to meet you all.  Your love and comfort with one another was an encouraging site to to see.  No wonder your home is the hub of the neighborhood, where kids love to come and play.
