Jess & John: Richmond Hill Engagement Photos

I’ve known Jess since our undergraduate days at York, so I was thrilled to do an engagement session with her and her hubby-to-be. We did the shoot at their beautiful, brand-new home north of Toronto, which was the perfect backdrop to show off their love (and the ring, of course!). Towards the end of the shoot, Jess’s dad brought over his sweet red Ferrari, so we worked that into a few shots as well!

Without further ado, here are the photos – Jess is drop-dead gorgeous, as always, and paired with John they make a pretty fabulous couple, if I do say so myself!

I’m looking forward to taking photos at Jess’s bridal shower in a couple of weeks, so check back for another post then.

Business/Personal Headshots: J Schauer

When we did this shoot in Mr. Schauer’s fabulous Kitchener loft, he had a couple of goals in mind. He wanted some shots he could use in a professional, corporate environment, and some with a bit more snap and personality to make them suitable for personal networking.

I think we achieved both goals pretty well – what do you think? I particularly love the ones in the white dinner jacket – they’re so James Bond!

Warmer Thoughts: Toronto Family Photos

It’s February, and it’s been snowing all day. What better way to hibernate from the cold than to go through some old summer photo shoots? This one is a favourite I’ve been meaning to post for ages, so today seems like the perfect day to do it. Hopefully it brings back some warm summer memories!

Corby is a busy blogger, and, as all parents have to be, an expert multitasker (in fact, this is the name of his blog - check it out!). So, naturally, while he was out barbequing one afternoon, he also had his blackberry on him and was the first to respond when I offered a contest. I couldn’t have picked better winners – look at how cute his family is!

This is his little boy. I love how he wrinkles up his nose when he really gets into his smiles!

Of course, his daughter is adorable too! The kids are so sweet together. She couldn’t resist sticking out her tongue when mom and dad weren’t looking!

And here is his beautiful wife. What a lucky man you are to have such a gorgeous family, Corby!

I love the impish look in this one – and again with the wrinkly nose!

Thanks again for letting me share an afternoon with your lovely family, Corby. You guys are all too cute!

For the rest of us, here’s to warm weather and fun times with family – let’s hope we all enjoy lots of both soon!
