The Universe has been in my face today about fear. Has this ever happened to you?

I woke up to 50 cawing crows in my yard. They were very noisy. Of course I went outside and told them to “shut up.”  The weird thing is I was just telling my father about a time when a bunch of crows showed up in my yard over a year ago. Then it happened 15 minutes later. Kind of unsettling.

So I thought about those fears that  run on autopilot in my brain. You know what I’m talking about.

Can I get a witness?

Not debilitating fears, just the fears that seem to stay with you and play as very soft background music in your consciousness. Some of them dematerialize, and others hold on for dear life.

Not all fear is bad. Being scared to put your hand on a hot stove burner is not a bad thing to be afraid of. But being a chicken little and thinking the sky is falling is not a good thing. So I continued my contemplation of fear.

When I went to run my errands , I saw a the bumper sticker that read

“Don’t Believe Everything You Think.”

Gotta laugh. The Universe has an amazing sense of humor.

Fear has been in my face all day long.

Then an email just showed up with this cool new ebook about freeing yourself from fear.

I have passed this little technique along to some of my friends, and now they remind me to do it!

And it’s very simple,

BUT YOU GOTTA DO IT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE NEW MOON!!

Check out the moon phases here.

It isn’t hocus pocus and isn’t a cure all/substitute. Yet it sends a signal to the Universe and your subconscious mind that you are ready to receive abundance. Why not take advantage of the moon cycles?  Farmers do. Just check out the Farmer’s Almanac some time.

The New Moon is a time for setting your intentions and starting new things. It is also a time to claim your abundance.

Consider this a divine experiment.

Abundance Check Ritual in the New Moon

This ritual has been handed down through so many people that its origin has become unknown.

What are Abundance Checks?

Abundance checks are a tool we can use to create more abundance in our lives. They are written within 24 hours after a New Moon. Surprisingly, you really don’t even need to believe that the check will work when you write it. You will however be amazed at the results, as you will see increased abundance in your life, in some life area. It is not always financial, but certainly in an area that you need.

There is a traditional manner, which has been handed down, that must be followed. If you do not have a checking account you can draw a check on a piece of paper and fill it out the same way -the results will be the same, more abundance for you.

How To Write Your Abundance Check:

1.) Within 24 hours after a New Moon, take a check from your check book. Where it says “Pay to,” write your name.

2.) In the little box on the same line where you would fill in a dollar amount write “Paid in full.”

3.) On the line underneath your name, where you would write out a dollar amount, write “Paid in full.” [I find it works better if you don't add the squiggly line.]

4.) Sign the check: “The Law of Abundance”

Do not put a date on the check. Do not write a specific dollar amount in the check. Put it in a safe place and forget about it. The Universe will take it from there.

Many people are skeptical about trying this until they do it. After the first time they realize the power of these checks and do them routinely every month! Try it yourself and see!

If you enjoy this little experiment, do it for the next three New Moons and see what happens.

Think about it. How many times have you acted like you did not amount to a hill of beans? Stop it. Stop it right now!  Acknowledging your self-worth  is important. Self-love is instrumental to activating the positive effects of the law of attraction. Know your DNA is encoded with the energy of the divine “whatever” that made everything.

That is really good news. If the power that made everything is also inside of you, how can you ever be considered worthless?

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:28-31

When adversity strikes, draw upon this truth that you never walk alone. Overcoming is part of our existence. This is not meant to stress you out or be negative, it just is. An airplane has to overcome lift and drag. So do you.

How do you go about overcoming low self-worth and start loving yourself?

Here are a few steps to get you started.

1. Start believing in yourself. Pick one thing about yourself that you like. Focus on that one thing and add to it.

2. Know that there is a power greater than you, that is actually a part of you. Being aware that it exists can open up a whole new world.

3. Practice positive expectation, but don’t get thrown for a loop if bad things happen. It’s part of the process…the seeming duality or polarity of the Universe. What goes up, must come down.

4. Learn to “surf” the energy waves. We all live in a vibrational universe. Enjoy the up times and ride out the down times.

5. Don’t dwell on the negative. You can acknowledge it, but shift your focus to the positive. Poor mouthing just makes things worse and keeps your vibrations low. Nip poor mouthing in the bud  as soon as you realize you are doing it. And don’t beat yourself up for it either.

6. Look in the mirror and tell yourself  “I Love You.”  This might make you cringe at first. But if it worked for Louise Hay, who overcame cancer and a whole lot of other things,it can work for you,too. Do it everyday.

The above list is just the beginning, and will help you on the path to increased self-worth and self-love.

Treat yourself  like the divine child of the Universe that you are. And treat everyone else like it too. The Golden Rule applies here, big time.

Adopt the creed of the dauntless: “KEEP ON KEEPING ON.”

The Universe is really for you at all times. Even when it doesn’t feel like it, you are still blessed.

Start acting like you are blessed.  See what happens. You just might like it!

I like to write my intentions in a spiral notebook. But anything that you like will do.

And keep it simple. Don’t write a 100, why not start with 10? Really feel what it is like to have these intentions become a reality. What are you doing, who are you being, what do you have when these intentions are real.
Get into it, and then release it.
It helps if you take inspired action, too…just leave room for the Universe to do its thing.

Sometimes it takes several moon cycles for you to see anything manifest from aligning to these energies.

Be patient, you are birthing something. Planted seeds take time to grow. On the earth plane, we do work with the concept of time. Gestation periods are a reality.

But what does that really mean? And why should you even care? It’s time for a metaphysical Bible lesson folks.

Go get yourself a branch of flowers and thoughtfully study it. You will begin to understand the concept of Oneness.

Each of these components is dependent on the vine or the stem for its sustenance.
The vine or stem is its life!

Now let’s pretend  one of these flowers is you. Be sure to call it by your name. Then visualize the stem or vine as God, The Great Law, The Divine Spirit, The Universal Power, All That Is.
This is a botanical representation of what you are and the Oneness of God.

Every moment your existence you are unconsciously drawing upon All That Is, Its Life, Its Power, Its Intelligence, and Its Good. You could not do this if you were something separate from Its Being. In other words, you would be like a fallen flower, rotting on the ground in death and decay.
Just as a rose or a daisy turn their faces to the Sun, you must do the same in order to grow and unfold. Turn inwardly to the Source of Light and Life. This realization will help you in all things and allow you to gain maximum spiritual efficiency. The kingdom of heaven truly is within!

The same thought of you being a part of God, one with the vine and not separate, is vividly portrayed by your own hand,too. Take a look for yourself.
Hold your right hand in front of your face–let the palm represent God and one of your fingers yourself. 
What happens to the finger if there is no hand? Hopelessness! It isn’t of much use is it?

You are absolutely dependent on the Palm for your very existence. You are absolutely dependent on the Universal Life Force whether you are aware of it… like it, or not.
This is a great thing to know…true wisdom. You are not alone. And you do not operate on your own steam.
Ponder this and you will see that this is one of the great keys to unlock your inner riches.

If you are a Fersenite (or a Lightbearer, whatever moniker you fancy) add “with the help of the Great Law”, or “with God’s help” to your statements.

The energy of the full moon is  party time. Take a few minutes to be grateful for what you have.

The sun and moon are at opposite ends of the spectrum during this time, so there can be a lot of restlessness and tension.

Yet it it is also a time of complete “fullness.”

Why not take the time to use the contrasting energy to say some statements,
give thanks,and take an action step? Much more productive way to be a “lunatic.”

Remember Muhammed Ali?

Before he became the heavyweight boxing champion he would ALWAYS affirm:

“I AM THE GREATEST! ”

Embrace that energy…its’ kind of fun.

Be a bit “full of yourself”  during the full moon…..like Ali was in his heyday.

Yes, I poked fun at the Swine Flu because we need to have some levity to change the vibration
of this situation…no disrespect intended.
You didn’t see “Oink” in the subject line.

On a more serious note:

Surrounding yourself with Love is important.
Sending Love to others is important.
Practicing Fersen’s Star Exercise is important.

And an ounce of prevention sure doesn’t hurt.

Nobody wants to overreact, but nobody wants to
be caught unprepared.

Don’t buy into the spin,
but don’t be foolish either.

This little book has some amazing information.
I believe it will save you thousands in the long run. I’m no doctor, but the evidence is astonishing.

When I heard about this info, I scooped it up. In fact , it wasn’t new. Somehow I had forgotten about it.

Remember the Swine Flu of 1976?

I sure do.
They were having Swine Flu vaccinations at the local middle school.

My Dad was out of town and the babysitter thought it would be a fun joke to pretend
I had to get the vaccination.

Bad move.

My Dad was a strong advocate against vaccinations. And I refused to get out of the van.
Threw an absolute fit,too. No shots for me. And the babysitter lost her job(oops!)

The point is, take control of your own mind and body.
Don’t be afraid, take action and responsibility.

Two miracles recently occurred in my life.
Yes, REAL miracles.

I am sharing them with you to encourage you to NEVER give up hope.

It is hard to even give words to the occurrences, but here we go!

Miracle Number 1:

I stopped hating myself.

WHAAAT?

I’m in the self-development industry, how dare I have any traces
of self-hatred? Just sign me up for Hypocrites-R-Us!
Well, I did. Many of the things I employed made significant
differences in my life and the Science of Being: 27 Lessons,
was the real key that activated the process for me.

But it wasn’t until I started working with this relatively unheard
of energetic technique that things changed at warp speed, in fact
my life kind of blew up!

Then last week, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt I really
loved myself all the time. That doesn’t mean I don’t still get mad
or disappointed, but my core is self-love.

To me, that is nothing short of a miracle.

Miracle Number 2:

The relationship with my father was completely repaired.

Now I did not have a bad relationship with my father, we were
not estranged. When I was 10 years old I shut a door
to him and it did not come unlocked until the self-love was
in place.

You see, my mother died of uterine cancer.
It wasn’t pretty and it was a long agonizing death. If you ever
watched the movie Pet Sematary and remember the sister in the
backroom, you’ll get the picture.

My father let his practice go to pieces to take care of her.
My job was to do my best to be cheerful and not cause any trouble.
I held so much in during her illness and the events following her
death because I had no idea how to process the feelings of fear,
anger,sorrow and abandonment. I was only 10.

Then my father remarried 3 months after my mother died.
And a door in my heart slammed shut.
A child’s black and white thinking can be very powerful.

Just recently that door miraculously unlocked.
This door had been “hermetically” sealed for 33 years.

I now experience a greater love for my father. He believes in me,
my mission, and prays for me daily.

And I have a whole new appreciation for my stepmother.

I did not INTEND for any of this to happen.
It was not on one of my lists of things to manifest.

I just kept doing the “work,” releasing, forgiving, asking for help,
being thankful and changing my vibrational state.

I will be writing about the process, how it found me, and how it
rocked and rolled my world on my new blog…
announcement forthcoming.

I have NEVER experienced an energetic protocol to be this
effective. And I am far from perfect in my application of it.

If you are having problems with manifesting, self-love is probably
at the core of this blockage.

Don’t forget you are loved at all times…even when you don’t
love yourself, the Universe is loving you.
