Our 2011 season is coming to an end, and we would like to thank everyone who came out. We will begin our 2012 season sometime in April with tog and tile trips. It is uncertain when our sea bass season will open up; I will let everyone know once we find out. We also have gift certificates available for our 2012 season and if ordered by next week we can get them to you by Christmas. Once again, thank you for making our 2011 season a great one, and we hope to see you in 2012.

We finally got a break in the weather and were able to get out this weekend and enjoy some good seabass fishing. The keeper ratio wasn’t as good as it was on the last few 10hr trips, but by the days end most people went home with a nice bag of fillets. We also caught some bluefish that weighed up to 12lbs, and a keeper codfish. For more information and reservations please call 410-289-7424…Thanks and hope to see you soon!

We were finally able to get out fishing for sea bass on Monday & Tuesdays 10hr trips. We had some very nice weather and good sea bass fishing. There was non stop action from the time we set up on both trips. There were limit catches both days and most other people were in the twenties. We also saw a few bluefish up to 12lbs and a codfish that weighed 8lbs. Our next trip is scheduled for Friday the 18th, which will be a 10hr trip (6am-4pm). We also will be sailing Saturdays and Sundays, from 730am-3pm. Please call 410-289-7424 for more information and reservations.

Seabass fishing is now closed until November 1st. We had good sea bass fishing right up until the closure. Some days the keeper ratio was good and some days there was a lot of fish going back. Sunday's 10hr trip started off slow, we fished a few wrecks that had some nice quality fish, but not in the numbers we were looking for. By the afternoon we were drifting natural bottom and put a nice catch together with seabass up to 3.5lbs. With the nice forecast on Monday we did a last minute deep drop trip. We caught sea bass up to 4.5lbs, blueline tiles up to 12lbs, and a few golden tiles with the largest tipping the scales at 45lbs. We have a few offshore trips scheduled for the next couple weekends, while sea bass is closed. We will resume our 730am-3pm trips on Fri,Sat,Sun in November. For more information and reservations please call 410-289-7424. Thanks and hope to see you soon!

We have had good fishing for sea bass, flounder, and bluefish over the past week. Bluefish are becoming more plentiful, and averaging 2-3lbs. There is non stop seabass action with lots of weeding through smaller fish, but many people are ending up with double digit keepers. We sailed on our 18hr tile/seabass trip this past Sunday. The trip started off slow, but as weather conditions improved so did the catch. We had a few limits of blueline tilefish up to 10lbs and seabass up to 4.5lbs. We are sailing daily from 730am-230pm. Beginning in October we will be sailing from 730am-330 pm for the same price. Seabass season closes on Oct 11th, and reopens Nov 1st. For more information and reservations please call 410-458-8343.

We also stopped on some croakers and caught some nice ones up to 18inches. We are sailing daily from 730am-230. The cost is $62 per person, which includes rod, reel, and bait. I have listed some dates for our special trips below. There will be more dates added in the future...For more information and reservations please call 410-289-7424

We had another good week of sea bass fishing on the Angler. Some days are tougher than others, but overall not bad for this time of the year. Most people have been heading home with 6-10 keepers, and some lucky anglers approaching 20. The largest fish of the week tipped the scales at 4lbs. We are also seeing more flounder. We are sailing daily from 730am-2pm. The cost is $62, which includes rod, reel, and bait. Thanks and hope to see you soon!

We had two tog trips before the much anticipated sea bass opener on Sunday. Tog fishing was ok, with lots of smaller fish in the mix. The largest tog of weekend was caught Saturday and was just shy of 10lbs. We had some good fishing on the opening day of sea bass. It was definitely not one stop shopping. We had to move around quite a bit but ended up with a nice catch of seabass, cod, and tog by the end of the day. We are now sailing daily at 7:30am cost is $62 per person, which includes rod, reel, and bait, please call 410-289-7424 for reservations. We are trying to put together an 18hr trip for tilefish and seabass in the coming weeks, if you are interested you can call me at 410-458-8343. Thanks and hope to see you soon!!

It was a tough bite most of the day with a couple flurries here and there. We did not catch a bunch, but the ones that were caught were quality fish. Ken won the pool once again with a tog just shy of 10lbs. We did not see any cod on this trip, but did release some nice size sea bass. We are sailing from 730am-330pm on the weekends until sea bass season. Seabass opens on the 22nd, and we will be having a 10 hr trip that sails at 6am. For more information and reservations please call 410-458-8343 or 410-289-7424. Thanks and hope to see you soon!!

We will not be sailing this upcoming weekend (4/2 & 4/3) for tog. The weather is not looking too good and we have a few more things to tidy up before we get going. We will sail for tog on 4/9 at 7:30am. The good news is that ASMFC has announced that we will have the same Black Sea Bass season as last year. The season will open on May 22nd and continue until October 11, and then reopen on Nov1-Dec 31. We will have a 10 hr trip on 5/22, which will sail 6am-4pm, and cost $80. Reservations are required for all tog trips, and 10 hr sea bass trips. Please call 410-458-8343 for more info and reservations....Thanks and hope to see you soon!!

Hello,

Not much fishing going on around here lately. Water temperatures have dropped into the mid 30's, making it tough for those still targeting tog. Most boats have decided to take a couple months off until water temps warm up a bit. Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission has a meeting this upcoming Wednesday regarding this years black sea bass regulations. As of right now it will not be opening before May 22nd, maybe much later, I hopefully will know more Wednesday. I plan to begin tog fishing around the beginning of April. Thanks and hope to see you in April....

Hey All,

We finally made it out a couple days last week, after high winds and seas kept us tied to the dock. We had an 8 hour trip on Sunday, as well as a tilefish trip on Monday. Sunday we still had a left over swell from the wind the past week, and I noticed the water temperature had dropped 5-6 degrees. Not good for inshore sea bassin…First couple spots were ok; definitely not like the bite we had a couple weeks ago. Dog sharks chased us off a couple other spots, than we ended the day with a pretty decent pick for an hour or so. Monday we headed out to do some tile fishing. The plan was to try for blueline tilefish, which we rarely target, and then move off and catch some golden tilefish. Bluelines are caught much shallower than goldens, and are also mixed with sea bass. We drifted over some natural bottom and caught some nice bluelines up to 12lbs. There were lots of small sea bass, with the occasional jumbo in the mix. We than moved off to the canyon edge and made a few drifts for golden tilefish. With a strong current, and tough drifting conditions making it almost impossible to hold bottom we decided to head back inshore and catch a few more bass. Monday’s trip was somewhat of a disappointment, with the lack of goldens and jumbo sea bass, but I expect the offshore seabass bite to improve in the coming weeks as these fish are just beginning to migrate offshore. We will be sailing Friday-Monday, weather permitting. Check out our website for trip specifics….I will adding 18hr seabass/tile trips to the schedule in December. Please call 410-458-8343 for more information and reservations. Thanks and hope to see you soon…

Hey All,

We sailed on a 10hr trip this past Monday and were greeted with a brisk NW wind at 20 + mph. Once we anchored up we had non stop action with sea bass and bluefish. There were limits of both sea bass and bluefish, with largest bass tipping the scales at 5 1/2 lbs. We are scheduled to sail Fri,Sun,and Mon. We will not be sailing this upcoming Saturday, Nov 6th. Friday and Mondays will be 10hr trips, Saturday and Sundays will be 8hr trips. Reservations are recommended, please call 410-458-8343 for more information and reservations. Thanks and hope to see you soon....

Hey All,

Not much fishing going on lately. We have had to cancel the last 3 overnight trips due to nasty conditions offshore. Just a reminder, that sea bass fishing opens back up this Monday Nov 1st. We are having a 10hr trip that will be sailing from 6am-4pm, and the weather looks good! We will be having 8hr trips every weekend in November. You can also check out our calendar for upcoming 10 and 18hr trips….Reservations are recommended due to the inconsistent weather conditions, please call 410-458-8343 for more information and reservations.
Hey All,

Fishing was great on sea bass last week with non stop action on every drop. Lots of weeding through small fish, but everyone ended with a cooler full by days end. We did see more bluefish this week with the largest around 14lbs. Sea bass is now closed until November 1st. If we have any interest we will be running 8hr bluefish/flounder trips on days that we do not have canyon trips scheduled. This weekends canyon trips are cancelled once again due to the weather. It looks like it is going to clear up by early next week so we may have a limited deep drop trip. We will resume sea bass fishing on November 1st with a 10hr trip and then 8hr trips every weekend. For more information and reservations please call 410-458-8343…Thanks and hope to see you soon….

If you would like to go on this trip please call, as space is limited. For more information and reservations please call 410-458-8343...Thanks and hope to see you soon...

Hey All,

Had some good fishing before and after Earl this past week. No limits just yet, but some are getting very close. I expect to see a few in the coming weeks. Flounder fishing was nonexistent following the storm due to the stirred up waters, but it did pick up nicely yesterday. We haven't messed with the croakers too much. If they get schooled up and are the right size we may spend some time. I expect the fishing to get better in the coming weeks with a mix of sea bass and flounder. We are sailing daily at 730am and will returning 230-3pm. The cost is $60 per person, which includes rod, reel, and bait. We also have our first 30hr overnight trip scheduled for October 7th. For more information and reservations please call 4104588343. Thanks and hope to see you soon...

Hey,

We had some pretty good sea bass fishing this past week, best bite we have seen since the spring. Still lots of weeding through the small fish, but the keeper ratio is getting better. High hook was in the teens. Flounder fishing was also good with the largest just shy of 5lbs. There has been some croakers caught inshore, if it ever gets "hot" we may stop on them on our way out to the sea bass grounds. We are sailing daily at 730am-2pm, and the cost is $60 per person which includes your rod, reel, and bait. For more information and reservations please call 410-289-7424. Thanks and hope to see you soon...

Hey All,

We have seen some typical August fishing over the last week. Some days the bass bit good and on others there was a lot of moving around. We did have some good flounder fishing with fish up to 4.5 lbs, along with plenty of throwbacks. The bonus of the week was some mahi mahi. We had a few days we were able to chunk them up pretty good with the largest of the week tipping the scales at 22lbs. We are sailing daily at 730am and returning around 2pm. The fare is $60 per person, which includes rod, reel, and bait. For more information please call 410-289-7424.
Picked away at some nice sea bass and flounder on our daily trips. Lots of throwing back going on, but most are catching plenty for dinner.
Hey All,

Not much has changed in the fishing over the last couple weeks. Seabass fishing has been ok. Some days the bite is very good and on others there is a lot of moving from spot to spot. By days end most people go home with a nice dinner. The flounder bite has yet to materialize, should be any day now. We have caught a few mahi mahi, with the largest being a 13lber caught today. We are sailing daily at 730am and returning around 2pm. The fare is $60 per person, which includes rod, reel, and bait. For more information and reservations please call 410-289-7424.
Hey All,

We had some decent fishing for sea bass this week on some days, and on others not so hot. We have been catching plenty of throwbacks along with a few nice ones in the mix. There has also been some flounder caught and we expect this fishery to get better in the coming weeks. Surface temperatures approached 75 degrees this week, bottom temps still much colder, but it won't be long before we see triggerfish, croakers, and maybe some mahi-mahi. We are sailing daily at 730am, and returning around 2pm. The fare is $60 per person, which includes rod, reel, and tackle. We do have a July 4th fireworks cruise scheduled, for more information and reservations please call 410-289-7424...Thanks and hope to see you soon.
