Looks like we are going to get a nice break in the weather this weekend. We are adding 18 hr deep drop trips for tilefish to our schedule on Sunday the 8th and Monday the 9th. Normally we are fishing to sea bass on these trips, but since seabassing is closed these will strictly be tilefish trips for now. The price is $200 per person and does not include a rod. Reservations are required and we are limiting the trips to 25 people. Boat sails at 3am. We are still tog fishing Fri, Sat...$60 per person. Please call 410-458-8343 for more info and reservations. Hope to see you soon.

We haven't done much bottom fishing lately due to adverse weather conditions, but we finally got a break this week and got out on a special 3 day trip this week. We headed out on Tuesday in hopes of Tuna, and Swordfish. We started off on the troll in 30 fathoms and trolled all the way to edge with nothing to show. Our first night there was plenty of shark action. We released around 15 Blue sharks, 2 small makos. We started on the troll around day break and caught a couple yellowfins up to 40lbs. We then tried some Tilefishing and we caught a few Goldens up to 15lbs. We set up on the chunk before sunset and we were back in the shark action. We once again release many Blue sharks, kept one Mako, and release a small Sword fish. The last morning we trolled for a couple of hours with no tuna bites, so we decided to do some deep dropping. The first drift produced double headers of black bellied rose fish. Then the next few drifts we got into some Golden Tilefish and Red Hake up to 7lbs. Biggest Golden weighed in at 62lbs, which is a possible State record. The final tally was around a couple dozen rose fish, 15 Tilefish, and 6 Red Hake. Daily trips for tog are $60 per person and that includes rod, reel, and bait.
Overnight Tuna/Tile trips are $300 per person. Tuna trips sail at noon
and return noon the following day. Reservations required for all
special trips, please call 410-458-8343 for more information and
reservations.

It appears the Feds have shut down the sea bass fishery along the East Coast as of this upcoming Monday, October 5th. Since this is the last weekend that we will be able to keep sea bass we will be staying out later. We will be sailing tomorrow, Friday,Saturday and Sunday at 730am-330pm. We are now going to book overnight Tuna/Tile trips on weekends. Days that we are not offshore in the canyon we will fishing for tog, triggers, and I am sure we will be releasing plenty of sea bass. Daily trips are $60 per person and that includes rod, reel, and bait. Overnight Tuna/Tile trips are $300 per person. Tuna trips sail at noon and return noon the following day. Reservations required for all special trips, please call 410-458-8343 for more information and reservations. For those who have booked seabass trips in the upcoming weeks I will be contacting you tomorrow to discuss other options.
The good seabass fishing has continued this week, and it has even gotten better. Everyday there has been plenty of action with good catches of seabass and triggerfish. Weeding through lots of small fish, but everyone ends up with a decent amount of keepers by days end. No limits this week, but we did have a few people near 23 24 and most others were in the teens. Hopefully the good weather and good fishing continues into the fall...We are sailing daily at 730am and the cost is $60
per person, which
includes rod, reel, and bait. Our 12hr wreck trips sail every Friday at 530am, and the cost is $100 per

We finally got out this weekend and we had some of the best and worst
fishing that we have seen all year. Headed out on Saturday with high
hopes looking for hungry sea bass and flounder. We had a slow pick at
the sea bass most of the day and only a couple keeper flounders. Sunday
was one of the best days that we have seen all year. No flounder, but
we had a very nice pick of sea bass all day. Top hook was 22 keepers,
most people were in double digits. The good fishing has continued into this week, hopefully this is a sign of whats to
come in the fall. We are sailing daily at 730am and the cost is $60

We made it out this Labor Day weekend and we had some good fishing for sea bass, croakers, and flounder. We stopped on some croakers to start the day off and we caught limits with some very nice ones up to 18inches. We had some snapper blues mixed in and we even caught an amberjack. After everyone caught plenty of croakers we moved offshore for seabass and flounder. We caught a few keeper flounders up to 4lbs, and the seabass throwback/keeper ratio is getting better. This is the last weekend to keep flounder, and the weather is looking great!
Missed our first two fishing trips in a long while due to hurricane Bill this weekend. Before the swell we had decent fishing for flounder, and on some days good fishing for seabass. There has been a lot of throwbacks with both flounder and seabass. We did see a few limits of keeper flounder up to 5lbs this past week, for those using big strip baits. Croaker fishing has been scattered at best, with the fish still on the small side. We are sailing daily at 730am and the cost is $60 per person, which includes rod, reel, and bait.
