Hey guys. So the new site finally launched so now I'll be posting over there instead of here. So check out that site for more updated posts.

And I know I'm kinda lagging on things right now but I have a lot going on. I had to plan the launch party but thats done so don't have to worry about that anymore. On top of that I just got a second job and now I have to get up at 4:30 Mon-Fri. That sucks!!! But it pays well and I can get more tees printed and expand quicker! Yay!

So possibility of a summer release. Not sure yet but when I know, I will post up a preview.

So we are having a launch party for the release of Capra Clothing Co.!!

Supper stoked for it. Should be awesome.

It's gonna be at Thriving Ink, a clothing store in downtown Pleasanton, CA.

It is Wednesday, May 27 from 8-10pm and we're gonna have a live dj, food, drinks and possibly a performance by one of out artists, Marco Patitucci.

According to the Facebook invites, theres already about 70 people coming, which is crazy!!! I hope they all come haha.

So yeah, it should be really cool!! I made up a poster and am gonna get them printed tomorrow when I have money and then just get them out everywhere.

If you are in the Bay Area next Wed. stop by!!! Our Spring line is going to be available for sale, including new product. yay!

Alright guys, this Artist Spotlight is a long time coming and I'm finally getting it up here so check it out.

This week we are featuring hip-hop artist/producer E*Klipse Tha Champloo!

He is a super cool guy based out of Texas with a sound he describes as a mix of Slick Rick, Pharell and Kanye West. He's always got sick beats too!

Ahh!! The launch is in 5 days!! I can't believe its here already! This has been such a long time coming so I am definitely super stoked to get this going!

Everything is lined up and ready to go. The hats should be here any day. The site should be up and running by launch, and I got everything else all ready to go.

I'll post pics as soon as those hats come in.

Got some awesome ideas and plans for the near future, as in this summer to start so there are definitely big things coming for us!

Coming at ya with another Artist Spotlight, this time with new Capra family member, JohnnyBoy Hojgenie.

He is a super talented young rapper from Washington DC. His sounds is similar to Lil' Wayne (he's even got a song with Wayne).

So I got some awesome news today!!

I went over to a great store, Thriving Ink, in downtown Pleasanton, to talk to them about selling in their store. Well, we worked everything out and I'm bringing some tees over tomorrow!!

I'm sooo excited about this cause it's the first store we'll be selling in!! And we haven't even launched yet. One week though!!!

Weekend Update

Hey guys. sorry I haven't posted in a couple days. I was sooo busy this weekend. Got about 5 hours of sleep this whole weekend. So last night I slept 13 hours haha. Now I feel refreshed.

So Saturday we vendored at Locked and Loaded, a breakdance competition in Hayward. It was so much fun!! The dancers were ridiculous!! And we made some amazing contacts with some bboys, clothing companies, ect.

Also we will possibly be sponsoring an amazing dance crew out of Sacramento. Still in the process though.

And Sunday we had a pretty small photoshoot in Santa Clara. It was super fun though. Just got a couple friends together, including one of our artists, Marco Patitucci (everyone else was either out of town or busy for Mother's Day). Now I just gotta fix up the pics, might get some pro help on that. But it was fun. Here are a couple unedited pics.

And I had a long day of work so I'm totally beat.

Tomorrow is Locked and Loaded!!! The bboy dance comp we are vending at. So excited!!!

Then Sunday is the photoshoot and 2 weeks is launch! Oh man, so much going on right now!

It's been a long long day so I'll be brief.

Just got this little gem in yesterday. Look for it at shows, events, whatever. It's simple, I know, but I like it. It has a clear message. It'll do.

Also, really exciting news! It looks like we're almost for sure going to be in stores soon! We're talking to a couple local stores, so this is really exciting since we haven't even launched yet but I think it will be really good for the line! So excited!!! Can't wait!!!

So I was a little down yesterday but everythings turning around.

I fixed one of my classes so I probably won't fail. And I'm just gonna work a little harder in the other one and start going!

Also, got word from Eric about the skate deck sketch. Looks like we're going back to the original sketch haha. No worries though, cause its his deck so he can change it however many times he wants. I just go with it. As long as the finished deck is something he likes thats all that matters.

Also just got a pic of the new hats that are in production. They look so SICK!!!! I'm super stoked about these! They came out amazing, even though they couldn't do the super raised embroidery, they still look sick!!! No pictures til launch, sorry!

And I got a shit ton of sleep, I guess I've been kinda deprived recently. So I feel very refreshed. And I start work today!!

Not the best day

I'm kinda down right now since today didn't go too well. Not that bad but I hella messed up in school and its kinda annoying cause I really wanna go to art school or fidm but its too expensive and my family won't pay for it.

so I'm stuck in a major I don't really like, business, which it's not bad and it's totally relevant to what I'm doing but I just have no motivation.

Anyways I was in about 5 classes this semester. I changed my major and dropped a couple. Now I'm in two and totally messed them up. Like I'll probably fail both so I really don't know where to go from here. I guess I'll just accept this semester and move on and start over clean this summer. i think that's really all I can do.

This is probably a super boring post but this has been on my mind all day so I kinda had to get it out.

New Office!!

I finally got my new office!! I was so cramped before but now I get to spread out and have a huge space to myself!

It's super nice. I moved pretty much everything over tonight and took a couple picks. It looks empty now but I haven't put anything up or unpacked anything yet.

It's about 138 sq. ft. so it's a good size. Looks pretty professional..

Yes we are. Things are picking up like crazy right now. Especially since i got a new job and start this week. finals in the next couple weeks. then launch!!!!!

So at the photoshoot I'm also gonna be taking promo shots for my good friend and fellow Capra team member Marco Patitucci. The launch is gonna be awesome.

Also just added a new artist to the Capra team. Johnny Boy Hojenie! His tracks are pretty sick!

Expect an artist spotlight on him in the next day or so. Super stoked to have him as part of the team.

Also the new E*klipse mixtape is coming along like a champ! I heard a preview today and I'm in love with it!!! It's gonna be called E*Klipse Tha Champloo x Capra Clothing Co. Presents: That's Awesome: The Mixtape. I'm pretty sure that's what it's gonna be called. Also what we're doing is dropping a skate deck at the same time to go with the release!!! just sketched up something sweet tonight and hopefully eric's down with it too. But I am so excited about this its ridiculous!!! E*Klipse is gonna blow up so fast. I can tell.

So enjoy this. Thinking about doing some video blogs for the days leading up to the launch..

Another Hike

So this time went up to the Strawberry Canyon Fire Trail in Berkeley.

About 6 miles. Pretty fun minus the fact that half of the walk was in mud which kinda sucked.

Oh and at one point I tried to run up a hill and ate shit. And then slid all the way back down and was covered in mud the rest of the hike.

Forgot my Lumix though so had to take these with an Olympus

Mountain Lion?! We were in a Mountain Lion Habitat area at peak hunting time so I was kinda paranoid the whole time. Compare that print to the foot above it. Pretty big...

Too bad it wasn't so clear out. Looking down into Berkeley. The dark clouds looked kinda cool though.
I put this one in cause if you look close on the far left you can see the Golden Gate bridge. I gotta come back up here on a clear day.

I'm super excited to launch finally! at the end of the month. May 20th is the date so remember it!!

There's gonna be sales, giveaways, surprises? and a whole lot of good stuff. We're gonna make it fun! So make sure you check back on the 20th and pick up some tees.

Photo shoot this weekend so I'll post some pics from that. Also heard of a photo shoot over at TheFreshstock with a couple Capra tees... so that should be awesome!

And E*Klipse had a show this weekend that apparently was crazy! Wish I could have checked it out.. But I guess a lot of people were asking about Capra so hopefully we can get a good Texas following. Thanks Eric!!!

Just been hanging out really, getting ready for launch but I'm so ahead of schedule I'm just waiting now.

Getting some tees and hats in soon, and some boxes.

Vending a show out in Hayward May 9. Gonna be awesome.

Got a photo shoot set-up for the next day, which I totally didn't know was Mother's Day until today.

Just got confirmed for two dates for MayhemFest 09. San Francisco July 11 and San Bernadino July 12. Basically won't be sleeping for 48 hours. Gotta do the SF show, straight to Bernadino then do that show, all in two days!

Working on a sick skate deck design with E*klipse! Gonna be awesome!

Also been trying to get an office so I can expand since everything is basically crammed in one tiny corner of a room. Really want to be able to spread things out.

I was at the Giants game tonight and it was pretty good even though they lost to LA!

We had awesome seats about 10 rows back from the Giants dugout and there were some pretty good plays.
