OH NO! It seems my PREVIEWS don't have the correct downloads! I am fixing that now. TY for letting me know about this. I told you I was rusty and these programs have made some big changes since I last used them. No excuse...I will get it. :-)

I am so sorry for your trouble. Please bear with me? Thanks :-) Oh, you can NOW go back to my previous post and the LINKS have been fixed, you should get the correct corresponding QP to match the picture. :-) They actually run...QP2, QP3 and QP1 is the last one. I STILL was NOT able to attach to the last preview! The download is above the preview..you will see it.

PS...I don't know if I said or not, but ALL QP's you download are for PU-USE ONLY. I use elements and such from other wonderful designers as well as my own creations and I can NOT give you CU for these. Only the ELEMENTS I design myself will you have CU-USE for. I just thought I might mention that little thing. :-) I don't want any of us getting into any kind of issue from this. :-)

The DOWNLOAD LINKS HAVE BEEN FIXED! :-)

Today is Sunday, that seems to be the best time for me to post. :-) It's usually my day to take it easy.

I'll try not to be too windy, but here's a little reminder, just to let you know I am NOW working on my Scrapbook Cookbook. When it's finished, I hope it will be a legacy for my children and their children. It's not necessarily MY OWN recipes, but my favorites. Some I have gotten from others and probably revised them to my liking, so in a sense, I guess they are mine after all. ;-) But then, maybe not, whose splitting hairs? LOL It's just a "family" cookbook. :-) No biggie, right? Or is it? LOL You decide. :-)

OK...enough of that. I am going to be posting PREVIEWS of what I ended up with, and of course you are all welcome to DOWNLOAD the QP's I make for each page. Use it for YOUR OWN recipes. The hard part will have been done, you just need to put your own recipe and photos in. And...a little FYI, you find a recipe you particularly like...SHOOT ME AN EMAIL...you might be surprised. *wink* I'm not hard to get along with. :-)

Today, I am sharing my recipes/QP's I made using 2-kits by Kim Cameron of Daisies & Dimples, Digital Scrapbooking Heaven. Kim is an awesome designer and a wonderful friend. TY Kim so much for allowing me to use your kits for my designs. :-) OH, be sure you drop by her blog too...YOU'LL be GLAD you did, I know I always am. *wink*

Aren't these GREAT KITS? I just fell in love with them when I saw them...and I KNEW what recipe I was going to scrap with each of them. Now, I must admit I had no clue that I would be using BOTH kits to make one of my pages, I even surprised myself. :-)

Be sure you visit her store and check these great kits out and more...also, there are MANY designers there too! :-) Grab a cup of whatever and plan to stay awhile. :-)

I hope you enjoy these pages I've shared with you today. I am a little rusty at this so please bear with me. (4-shared and blogger have changed so much, but I'll get it. )

OH...this was so confusing trying to show you both the layout [LO] I made for my recipe and the quick page [QP] I used for the download. I think next time, I'll just share the RECIPE LO and let you click on that for the Download. :-) What do you think? Call me lazy, or just call me confused....LOL (getting old...hehehee)

My point is, if you get the wrong page in your download...PLEASE let me know in an email, so I can fix it. I'm hoping there's no mistakes. :-)

If I get time this week, while Ava is sleeping, I might be scrapping more recipes. I do have my Southern Peach Cobbler LO/QP ready to go, I just need to make the cobbler again, ummmm Pssst...someone forgot to take photos the last time it was made. LOL

YES...I intend to use PHOTOS in all of my pages, at least 1 if not more. :-)

I'm back with a CU-Freebie_Frosty-Hello

Hello, It's the last day of January already, can you believe it? Time seems to go by so quickly anymore. I hope you all have been in good health and that you have missed me as much as I have missed you. LOL

I think I am back to blogging again...I don't know how long...lol But I am going to give it a go again. I really missed playing in my PSP, so I'm back to working with it again. :-) As always, what I make, I'll share with you.

I think I had major "burn-out" and had to take a breather. :-) I'm working on a NEW project now. I wanted to share a little bit of that info with you all today. I have always wanted to make a personal "scrapbook" recipe book. Well, now it's beginning to happen. :-) I have a few pages made already. And yes, I will be sharing the QP's with you.

If you are interested in seeing the recipe pages I have made you can view them on my Photobucket. If you do view them, please let me know what you think. The previews of the QP's are there too.

Right now I am at a stand still, meaning I can't do anymore just yet. I'm wanting to scrap my Southern Peach Cobbler recipe. Ccan you believe it, I'm having trouble finding tubes or even any kits with peaches! LOL So...I guess I'll try to make my own kit for it! LOL

Actually I have one started already! Wish me luck on that one! After 2 years of not doing any serious PSP'ing...I'm going to need it! LOL OH, and when I've finished this peach kit, I will definitely share it...I'm not sure if it will be for PU only or CU. You'll just have to wait and see. If I design everything in the kit from scratch myself...then I will definitely offer it as a CU kit. Who knows? :-)

I do have a freebie for you today. I was doodling on paper over the weekend and made this cute snowman. If you want him you are welcome to SNAG him...and YES...I am allowing you CU on this one. :-)

Hello!!! Wow...are we ever getting slammed this year with SNOW! I guess this freebie is appropriate for this area....huh? rofl
Anyway, I have kids today so not much time. I began making this snowman for the last kit, but it didn't make it in time. So, if you downloaded my kits, either one or both, you can add this one to it/them.

You get 3-versions of the BLUE snow man.
1. Has everything you see on the Blue snowman in the preview.
2. One doesn't have the HOLLY VINE on the hat...but it still has the snow flakes ,
3. One doesn't have the holly vine or the SNOWFLAKES.
That way, it's more versatile for you to use.
I've also made a template from this one, and I tested it by making the YELLOW sno-cute snow man...I threw this one into the zip for you, too! So, there's 4-snow men in this download. YEP...all 4 are CU for you to use, too!

Hey, did anyone notice, I MADE A NEW BLOG BACKGROUND! YEP...I used something from each of Gaye's lovely kits that I have and even a few of her FREEBIES too! So...what do you think? I love those nursery rhymes..and the fact that Gaye is hitting the ball home to me, in that sense...and I must say, I am loving it! I do hope she will be inspired to continue to make more of these. What do you all say? Why don't you drop on over and visit her at her blog...and tell her what you think about these kits and her wonderful designs...She just might keep it up if you do! **crossing my fingers**. :-)

Hello-Hello.
I have been so busy trying to get unpacked. We finally did get EVERYTHING out of the old house and all moved here. The garage is now only 1/2 full. Jr can now park his truck in the garage again. :-) That's his concern! LOL Mine is to get all that stuff unpacked and put away...or given away! LOL I was going to have a huge garage sale, but there are so many people around her that are in need...so I (Jr and I) decided to donate whatever we can't use or don't want anymore to Our Father's Kitchen. I know the needy will get it if it's given to them. That's what they do. Not only do they provide meals for the homeless or who ever...there is yet another building that provides for other needs...such as clothing, house wares, etc. That's where we will take our things.

OK...you might not have wanted to hear about all that...but it's a little FYI for you. Just remember, if you can't use it...and absolutely don't HAVE to have the money from the sell of it, try donating it to the needy. Besides, the way things are around here...I little doubt anyone could afford even Yard Sale prices. :-) I'm serious! Short of being free, I doubt they have money for that little luxury. :-) Kroger employees even told me that people are not buying if it's not on sale...and that tells me... this is BAD. I noticed there are a LOT of sales going on in the grocery stores. Is your area grocery stores doing a lot of sales too? I sure hope this economy will start turning around soon.
OK...I'm sure you are all too aware of how the economy is, so I won't say anymore. :-)

Today I am sharing with you a kit I made for the Scrap Kit Challenge group, for the January 2010 challenge, it's called Arctic Blast! I began it (committed to doing it) before I know about buying a new home.
Since I made that comittment, I decided to try my best to follow through and complete it. I was sure sweat'n it...but I made the deadline....TODAY! lol

Good Morning...I have GOOD NEWS!

Good Morning! Most of you who know me...already knows I am in the process of MOVING again! Actually it begins this Friday! Everything is moving much too fast for me! I am happy about it...but it's still going to fast!

We purchased a new home recently, and now moving day is upon us! I haven't even gotten everything UNPACKED from our move to here! I'm sooooo glad of that, now!

For those of you who haven't see the photos yet, you can keep up with the photo Posts here...on my Face Book
Or you can wait & view them as I get time to post them here on my blog. :-)
Here are some photos of the OUTSIDE of the house.

This is the front view, and no....[these are not our vehicles, they must belong to the people who moved from the house]. :-)

Here's a FULL view of the Back of the house...

and this one is a better view taken from the left side of the house

As you can see, there are 2-decks on the back...YEAAAA! Thne one on your left is off of the Master Bedroom and the one on your right is off the Dining Room. There's no path going from one deck to the other, YET. But I plan to put one down. Either a 12" patio block path or we will be pouring a cement walk. I'm not sure yet which one. Then I plan to make a Flower Garden between the walk and house, with a Pond/Fountain in the center of the garden or closer to the Master Bedroom deck. We are going to have a few of the trees taken out as well. Too much shade is not good for the grass, you know. There are some bare spots because of it.
Right now, Jr and I are having a disagreement over the one tree that is at the EDGE of the Dining Room deck. You see, there is a Hickory Nut tree there...and I want to leave it. He wants to cut it down. We'll see who wins out. LOL

Anyway, this is one of the reasons I have not posted in a while...and I wanted to let you know, I probably won't post again for at least a month. :-( It will be about like when I moved here 3-months ago. :-( But I'm sure you all understand that it takes time to move & unpack. LOL

I have been working on a kit for a challenge for SKC (Scrap Kit Challenge).
The theme is called Artic Blast. I just don't think I'll make the deadline, maybe.... It's almost finished...so I will try to find time to finish it today. If I don't get it done today, it won't make the challenge...but you will be able to get the links to the other participants' shares at the forum. The best part is...YOU DON'T have to register to be able to snag the finished portions. Isn't that cool?
If you are interested...and I hope you are, there are kits waiting on you from Dec and I think Nov still posted...(the links, I mean. lol) anyway, check it out here...SKC
OH! and btw...this is a great place to just HANG out if you want to learn digi-scrapping or just PLAY and share! Be sure you check it out. *wink* Hurry on over and visit them..and tell Kathy that Candie sent you. :-) *wink*

Good January 2, 2010 to you all!

I hope you all are having a good start for a GREAT New Year! Did you have a good New Year's Eve? We did, we spent the evening at my youngest son's house, and boy did we have fun! We actually played "Family Feud" [made for the Wii]. That was a whole LOT of fun! If you haven't tried it...you really should! We girls teamed up against the guys...talk about funny! It surly was!! ROFL!!! Not to mention food...there was so much GOOD food...and the boys made chicken in the Turkey Deep Fryer...YUMMMMMY! I liked it better than KFC!!! And I LOVE-LOVE my KFC chicken! You have got to try it, if you never have. They made HOT WINGS too...and there was 3-different chip dips, too. I made a Taco Dip for Doritos or Tosteedos and a Fruit Dip for the kids. (What's that you ask... it's YUMMY too! You eat it with graham crackers, 'Nilla Waffers or even cookies...anything sweet. LOL) It taste like Banana Pudding when eaten with those little Chocolate Chip Bears! Or even with the 'Nilla Waffers! Ok...enough of that!

It would seem I am STUCK in the SNOWMAN mode...as I made yet another one to share with you all...and yep...I made a Layered Template of it, too...so you can easily colorize it to suit your fancy! LOL Anyway...I wanted to share this with you, and I hope you can use it.

Can you believe it, it's almost the END of 2009! Where did this year go? I do hope you all will be safe during this holiday, and I wish you a Blessed and prosperous year to come.

As most of you know, I have a back injury, and there are times my back won't let me do much, other than sit around or just lie around. These past few days have been one of those days. It's good for you, because I can't stand to just lie around doing NOTHING...so I play in PSP. LOL

Today I was playing with a drawing I had done a few weeks ago. I think she turned out a bit cute. You judge for yourself. Of course she looks better after I re-drew her in PSP, opposed to what I had on paper! LOL
I made a template and left it in Layers, all you have to do is select the LAYER and then COLORIZE...it's that easy. This is the FREEBIE I made from it and giving to you, in case you would rather not use the template to make your own...

Good Morning!
I surprised myself, actually! My back gave me "fits" yesterday, so I pretty much sat around or laid around most of the day. I little Ava in the afternoon, and that was so nice! She is just too cute! I'll have to upload another photo of her (a more recent one...lol) She is not 2 months old and smiling and trying her best to talk! LOL That is such a precious age, don't you think?

Anyway, while sitting around yesterday, I worked on a sister for my Gingerbread Boy,

soooo, what do you think? Someone had mentioned that they liked my Gingerbread Boy, and felt with the hearts he could be used for Valentines...do you agree? Personally, I think the girl and the boy both could be used for either Christmas or Valentines. LOL You decide. LOL

I sure hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I know it wasn't what some hoped for, and better than expected for others. In this house, if we were all together and healthy, it was a wonderful Christmas for us. We had a nice dinner and actually exchanged gifts too. I was surprised by my kids and their wives, they got me really nice gifts (as they always do *wink*). I really was NOT expecting anything from them this year, but expecting them to put the money on the grandkids instead, you know? Like I said, it was a very nice day. YES, I remembered to be thankful for the REAL REASON, and that is the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. He truly is the reason for this wonderful holiday. :-)

I am not having New Years Eve at my house this year....yeaaa, my DIL, Tiffany is having it! She is just a sweetie. I really appreciate that she and Travis is doing the celebration at their house this year. I guess Travis wants to try his hand at Deep Fried chicken wings or something like that. LOL I know it will be good as he is really good on the grill. All 3 of my sons do a great job when it comes to grilling. :-) Now they need to teach that to mom! [roflmbo]

Anyway, I was thinking of giving you one more gift before the end of the year...and I was playing with this version of a gingerbread boy. I do hope you like him. OH...there are 2-versions in this zip, hopefully you can use one of them.

I was playing around while waiting on some foods to cool. In doing so, I made a couple of Freebies for you. One is a HOLLY TREE, that's what I call it anyway. LOL It's made from scratch, and I used my HOLLY I made a while back to make the leaves. Hope you like it. If you can use it, it is CU/CU for you to use. I was playing with an idea and accidentally made an ornament template. So...since I haven't shared anything with you for a while, I thought I would share these with you, too.

You are welcome to use whatever you make with these, any way you like, as long as you do not claim the original templates as your own and please don't change the file names.

Once you have made changes to these [colorize-flood fill, even resized], they become yours to do as you wish. YEP, I'm giving you CU/CU of this one. :-)

Hello...but you all thought I would never make it back, huh? Well, I am here, off and on. We did get moved and we got a new baby grand daughter, too. Then we made it through the holidays, and now, on top of all that, we have some remodeling going on here too. The bathroom is getting a MAJOR overhaul..and during T-giving, my cooktop decided it only wanted to cook on one setting... HIGH! So...the new cooktop has been ordered and suppose to be in by next weekend. Now, with it being so close to Christmas...my wonderful DIL [Tiffany] has agreed to let me come to her house to make my Christmas goodies. God love her...she is a sweetheart. At least I won't have to be doing all that cooking/baking the week of Christmas.

Gosh, I have really missed you all, and I am so glad you have stood by me the way you did. TY ALL so much for your emails and comments. I really appreciate everyone of them so much!
A little FYI, I probably won't be back on here on regular basis to POST until after the 1st of the year...so be sure you sign up for my NEWSLETTER. that way you will be notified whenever I do post. :-)

Ok...enough about me... I have been really busy. But....this past week I have had a virus/cold that attacked my sinus. I am feeling better now. Because of this virus, I was not feeling up to doing anything to the house...so I played on PSP. Because of that you are getting 2-Freebies from me today. YEAH!!! Wow, she is really growing up so fast. She has just about outgrown her 0-3mos outfits already! OH! Her eyes have not changed color yet...I think she's going to keep those beautiful BLUE eyes! Most of our grand babies have brown or hazel eyes. I hope her eyes stay blue. :-)

Ava is here, and a Freebie too!

YEAAAA, we have a new baby girl! Tiffany [our DIL] gave birth to Ava on Thursday morning at 7:56 A.M.
She weighed 8 lbs. 6.6 ozs and was 20 1/2-inches long. She has such a beautiful head of coal black hair and so thick. It was so curly when she was born. But it seems to be smoothing out in time. I do hope she will keep some of that curl. We'll see. Mommy and baby are home as of today and doing very well. I am just so glad it is all over and we have a beautiful little Ava to show for it all. Pssst...Gavin just adores his little sister. He can't kiss her enough! :-)

Anyway, See for yourself....of course I am prejudice, she is my grand daughter after all. :-)

As I mentioned in my last post, I have 12 wonderful BH-BB_QP's for you all today. The pages were designed by my friend Sharon J and she made them from multiple kits from Melissa's blog. I think her kits are lovely. too. I think Sharon did a wonderful job on these QP's as well.
I just want to say, "THANK YOU, SHARON, FOR LETTING ME POST THESE PAGES FOR YOU, and letting me share them with my readers, too" Isn't she a special lady? I think so! *hugz*

I will be uploading some of the pages I've made once I get them finished. I also took some photos of my "version" of these cute books, too. I LIKE the way the lady in this video tied hers together. *wink*

OH! Before I go, I wanted to let you know, I have the BH-BB version of my Patchy Fall-revisited kit for you. I'll be uploading that and sharing it with you soon. I was thinking of doing a kit or two for the holiday photos too...what do you think? I would love to hear your ideas, and suggestions.

My Grandchildren...Halloween 2008

As you can see, they are all small...at a mere 975 pixels by 750 pixels, all at 300 ppi
[or pixels per inch]. Roughly, that's about 2.5 x 3.5 inches. lol
And the great thing is, they fit these sleeves perfectly! CAUTION...these were designed for the PORTRAIT [tall] style sleeves...and NOT the LANDSCAPE [wide] style sleeves, as they require a wider finished QP. Just a little FYI for you to know. :-)

OK...That's all I have for you today. I would love to hear back from you what you all think about these. Let me know if you think I should make MORE kits so you can design your own pages...or should I just keep making the QP's for you? LOL You be the judge. :0)

Oh My Gosh! I just LOVE these frames. I made the frame using a FREE PU script from Alo Dezines, called "Big Frame", check it out!
[YES, I purchased their one-time license (look on the right hand side of my blog) and I am permitted to use their FREE scripts as CU to me. Isn't that cool]? It's times like this that I LOVE that license!

Anyway...I wanted to share with you 4-new frames that I made for you to use with my latest kit "Patchy Fall-revisited". If you like these frames...

Right now, I'm working on turning my Patchy Fall-revisited kit into some QP's to be used in these holders, too. Again, look for these pages soon. *wink*

A VERY special thanks to Sharon, for letting me SHARE these with you all on my blog. I know you will LOVE them as much as I do. Just think, I can now carry my babie's photos with me in my purse and not have to worry about damaging the ORIGINAL photos! The plastic cover will protect them! :-) ***OR if you have a Graphics program, such as PSP or PS*** You can open these pages into your program, then add your own photos to the bottom layer...then PRINT! That's what I'll be doing! :0)

BTW... FYI....you can get these BADGE HOLDERS at Walmart for under $2.00 each! And you get 10 holders per package...that's enough to make 2-books! (if you use 5 holders per book...that's 10 pages per book!).

OK... enough of this...I'm working on one myself...and I'll share my ideas...when I get it finished. LOL I know-I know...I have tooooo many irons in the fire right now. LOL That's me... always doing something! rofl

My top priority, however, is to finish cleaning out and organizing my 3-BIG hard drives. I can't stand the MESS I let it get into...not to mention my DESK...did I say DESK? WHERE IS IT??? That's right, it is a complete Disaster!! I NEED to put some of these things away! LOL Want'a help? rofl
