Wage and salary employment in the health care industry is projected to increase 27 percent through 2014, compared with 14 percent for all industries combined. Many of the occupations projected to grow the fastest in the economy are concentrated in the health care industry. For example, from 2004-14, total employment of home health aides-including the self-employed-is projected to increase by 56 percent, medical assistants by 52 percent, physician assistants by 50 percent, and physical therapist assistants by 44 percent.

In 1690, 24 August, he initiated his developing activities in this area to establish a city, so, henceforth this particular date is being honored as the Date of birth of Kolkata City.
This city is situated on the bank of Hooghly river and it is perfect gateway to Eastern and North- Eastern India and to the Far East.

VICTORIA MEMORIAL
It is the finest and most prominent building andan art museum of kolkata, under the Department of Culture, Government of India. It has been designed and built of white marble with a surprising blending of the best of the Taj Mahal at Agra and St. Paul's Cathedral of London. This is still one ofIndia's most beautiful monu mental legacies preserves the aura of British Raj. in 1901 Lord Curzon conceived it. He felt that his lately deported Queen Empress required a suitable monument to her memory. The Victoria Memorial Hall was opened in 1921.

HOWRAH BRIDGE
t is considered to be a miracle of engineering skill and an engineering marvel, which took five years(1939-1943) to construct this cantilever bridge supported by two piers 270 ft. high from the road level. The span of the bridge between the piers is 1,500 ft while the total distance between the two sheet anchors is 2,115 ft. There are eight vehicular ways and two footpaths on the 71 ft. wide bridge. It is 195 high from the water level of the river. This is the third cantilever bridge of the World. It was opened in 1943. This bridge joining Kolkata's main railway station on the Howrah side of the Hooghly river with Kolkata proper

INDIAN MUSEUM
he largest museum in India, situated on Jawaharlal Nehru road, It was open in 1814, and for insufficient room it was re-Built in 1878. This museum is a huge piece of impressive building in the Italian style of architecture. It has six sections: art, archaeology, anthropology, geology, industry (economic botany) and zoology.

ALIPORE ZOOLOGICAL GARDENS
Built in 1876, the oldest zoo in India, covering 16 hectare grounds house a wide species of animals & birds .It was created by the governor of Bengal , Sir Richard Carnac Temple and It was opened on Jan 1st 1876 by the Prince of Wales.

EDEN GAEDEN
These gardens were created in 1840, named after Lord Auckland's sister. The main idea was to make a Biblical - style Garden of Eden in India. The expanse dotted with beautiful trees shrubs and a large artificial lake. There a is the Burmese - style pagoda adjoining the lake which was brought to Kolkata from Burma after the British victory in Burmese war of 1884.

KALIGHAT
This 350 years old temple is located in the southern part of the Kolkata city. The earliest mention of KALIGHT is found in the “AIN-I-AKBARI”, a famous documents written by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. According to the legend – wife Pārbati’s body was cut up by lord Shiva, one of his finger fell here.It is the goddess ‘Kali’ the deity of power.

SAHID MINAR
An important landmark in Kolkata ,48 meter tall monument is situated more or less at the northern end of the heart of the Kolkata city (known as Maidan. It is built in honor of sir David Octerlony who fought the Nepalese war for two years(1912 to 1814) to victory. In 1969, 9 Aug ,this monument has been renamed as Sahid Minar(A monument in the memory of the martyred freedom fighters)

Vidyasagar setu, it is an ultra-modern engineering marvel, inaugurated in the year 1992 and completed in the year of 1994, at the cost of Rs.388 Crores.
