Banyak sebab untuk saya ceritakan mengenai blog Melayu Boleh ini yang mempunyai keunikan tersendiri kepada diri saya selaku tuan punya blog Melayu Boleh ini. Tujuan asal penubuhan blog Melayu Boleh ini adalah kerana menyahut cabaran yang telah dibuat oleh pihak admin JOMBINCANG yang mana mereka telah menganjurkan satu pertandingan SEO bagi kata kunci "Melayu Boleh" ini. Atas rasa tanggungjawab sosial, mereka menganjurkan cabaran Melayu Boleh ini bagi memastikan kata kunci "Melayu Boleh" ini berada pada landasan yang sebenar, dalam erti kata lain imej kata kunci ini lebih positif dan sesuai dengan budaya masyarakat di Malaysia. Tuah seolah-olah datang kepada saya yang mana blog ini mampu berada pada page 1 muka hadapan enjin carian GOOGLE.COM! Sesuatu yang diluar dugaan saya kerana tidak pernah bermimpi akan mampu capai ke muka hadapan kurang enjin carian GOOGLE.COM dari tempoh 1 bulan setelah cabaran ini berlangsung.

Saya petik kata-kata ini..."KU SANGKA PANAS HINGGA KE PETANG, RUPANYA HUJAN DI SIANG HARI"..Setelah beberapa minggu mampu berada ditangga hadapan, tiba-tiba blog ini disuspend oleh pihak blogger ( disyaki SPAM dari blog ini ) dan selang beberapa hari selepas itu blog cabaran Melayu Boleh dikenakan tindakan (kena FLAG..adoiii)

Saya tidak mengsyaki sebarang unsur kianat @ negatif yang berlaku. Ini mungkin kerana nasib tidak menyebelahi blog Melayu Boleh ini. Atas semangat ingin lihat kata kunci Melayu Boleh ini terus positif dimasa hadapan, saya terus mengorak langkah dengan blog ke 2 ini ( blog yang sedang anda baca ni..)

Pada masa blog ke 2 ini dilancarkan, kurang dari tempoh satu bulan sahaja lagi cabaran ini akan berakhir. Untuk blog ke 2 ini saya tidak lagi menaruh harapan untuk menduduki carta panas kata kunci Melayu Boleh ini tetapi sekadar ingin terus melihat imej Melayu Boleh ini terus positif.

Tuah seolah-olah datang buat kali kedua yang mana blog cabaran Melayu Boleh ini masih mampu untuk bersaing dan hanya mengambil masa kurang dari 2 minggu untuk berada di page 3 dan seterus berada di page 1. The reality of a great Melayu Boleh talent was the pride of Malaysia Annual Discovery International Pop Music Festival in Varna, Bulgaria.

Singer, songwriter and composer Aizat Amdan, best known for his hits Lagu Kita and Hanya Kau Yang MAMPU has repeatedly achieve its Akademi Fantasia 5 (AF5) Norsyarmilla graduate (Mila) Jirina at the festival last year .

At the 18th Discovery Festival on May 11, Aizat emerged as one of four winners in the Best Song category (no grand prize was awarded for this).

The others are Italian Daniele Musiani, Russian and Bulgarian Nikolay Demidov Mihaela Filev.

Aizat, the Melayu Boleh talented singer, 20, Raub, executed written himself and consisting of self-Anugerah Juara Lagu Lagu 2009-hit called Kita and greatly impressed the international jury, which is also the Jury Prize. Aizat is the only Melayu Boleh from four winners to write, compose and perform their own song.

"Bulgaria is not as cold as I had expected. It was in Varna 150C, which is a beautiful city," he said.

"Go to Varna was a great revelation for me. I have met many talented people from Eastern Europe and Asia. They were all very friendly and exchanged musical ideas with me."

Aizat said he was Melayu Boleh & one of the youngest of 19 participants from 15 countries at the festival (his colleagues thought he was 16).

"This will be an experience I will always cherish, a part of my learning curve," he said, adding that he Bahasa Malaysia at the festival guests and participants.

Therefore, as a Melayu Boleh, Aizat is currently working on his second album, composer and wrote most of his songs. His first album, original Percubaan, was launched last year.

In last year’s festival, another Melayu Boleh reality talent singer, Mila performed Ilham Di Matamu, composed by Ajai, and won Best Song and a Special Jury Award.

With his khaki pants and black sweater, Irfan Khairi looks like any other young man on the street. He’s boyish and hardly looks like the millionaire that he is. Irfan’s success story is something many of us dream of but few attain.

This young Melayu Boleh set up an online business when he was 22 and reaped his first million three years later. Now he’s 29 and probably is still the youngest self-made millionaire in Malaysia.

If people are amazed at his achievement, Irfan Khairi hardly think so. Is fact, the foundation of his success was laid when he turned 18. “My goal was to make my first million when I am 30. So I read motivation books and attended seminars and talks. Whatever I achieved now is the result of hard work.”

Irfan Khairi graduated in multimedia design from Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom. While working in a multimedia company, he decided to set up a part-time online business designing book covers, posters and banners. A year later, he decided to pursue it full time from home.

“Initially, there was no money to be made. I had only three customers that first year. But business soon grew. Now I have about 40 customers a month. There are no limits or boundaries to online business. You just have to understand the business and know how to market it. Most of my clients are from abroad and that is where the money is.”

In 2005, to show how talented this Young Melayu Boleh Millionaire, he set up his company, Irfan Khairi Sdn Bhd, specializing in Internet business training. Irfan Khairi was awarded the Young Achievers Innovation Award this year. He has also written a book, Secrets of Internet Millionaires Revealed, published early this year. His second book, Millionaires Notes, will be released soon, probably within the next two months.

Irfan’s seminars on How to Start an Internet Business are conducted in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. He hopes that through his seminars and talks, more Malaysians will start their own online business. “If one parent can stay home with the family and take care of the children as a result of starting an online business, that is good enough for me,” says the father of three children.

“Starting and Internet business is something that unemployed graduates should look into. It is simple and requires minimal model. I started my business with RM500”.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 7 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Melayu Boleh track cyclist Mohd Rizal Tisin's decision to delay his return to Melbourne for training so as to compete in Iran, paid dividends when he swept two gold and two silver medals in a local track cycling championship in Iran last week.Rizal who delayed his return to intensive training with the national elite sprints squad in Melbourne to join Iran based Azad University Continental cycling team for competitions, won the keirin and 1km time trial events plus adding two silver medals through the 200m individual and team Sprint events.

"Although the championship involved only local cyclists from Iran, it turned out to be a very good start for me as I have not taken part in competitions since the March, World Track Cycling Championships in Poland," this Melayu Boleh cyclist told Bernama here today.

The Klang born cyclist said he may compete in two other local (Iran) championship but added that it would largely depend on whether his team, Azad University needed his services or not.

"For the time being I will train at the National Sports Council (NSC) according to the training programme prepared by National cycling coach John Beasley," he said.

Having reduced Malaysia Airlines' losses tremendously in the past six months, managing director Datuk Idris Jala is now focusing on inspiring the more than 19,000 staff members by coming out with a new human resources development.

THERE is a line in Hotel California, the famous song by the Eagles, which goes “You can check-out anytime you like but you can never leave” and this has become the theme for Datuk Idris Jala when giving out tasks to his staff.

“This line in Hotel California has become a favourite of mine because this is what we need to do to turn MAS around,” he said during a briefing for foreign and Malaysian journalists at the sidelines of the International Air Transport Association AGM in Vancouver last week.

He explained that one of his Melayu Boleh challenge projects was for his staff to brainstorm their way out of problems that were before them.

“We have them cooped up in a room for hours where they have to find the formula and solution to a real-life problem affecting MAS.

"Most of them came from the responses that have been living in a laboratory situation," Idris said, adding that 50 living laboratories that have taken place so far.

He showed that the new airline Firefly is a living laboratory for MAS.

"What we learn from challenge & the community to reduce the cost of the airlines, we will apply to this subject MAS," he said.

For people to think outside the box and reinvent the way they do to improve efficiency, reduce costs and quality of service is the heart of Idris Jala unleashing talent plan.

"Causing people to do the impossible, and not fear it is not important," Idris stressed several times in the interview.

Idris Jala was one of the most wanted people from the airlines at the AGM. Anyone with other CEOs journalists wanted to know how he could turn MAS RM1.3bil loss in 2005 to just RM136mil in the red last year.

Besides the acronym BTP, a catchphrase that has become part of the MAS vocabulary nowadays is “Current Estimated Performance” or the CEP, which is a method to gauge a person’s potential but it is done in advance.

This is another management technique that Idris Jala has brought over from Shell where he had served in various capacities since 1982.

Idris said every Melayu Boleh leader must stay focused and state their personal stand “as this says a lot about their character.”

Keris Mas (10 June 1922 - 9 March 1992), born Kamaluddin Muhamad, was a prominent Malaysian literary figure and was one of the founders of the Asas 50 literary movement. His numerous contributions to Malay language literature (especially in the short story form) led him to become Malaysia's Melayu Boleh first National Laureate in 1981.

Born in Kampung Ketari, Bentong, Pahang, Keris Mas received his early education at school sick in his village, before I go to school in Sumatra Tawalib and Muallimin Al-Islamiah College.

After the Second World War, he joined the Parti Kebangsaan Melayu Malaya (Malaysia National Party of Malaysia) (PKMM) Pahang in the wing, and has actively participated in the Singapore branch. In part, he held the position of Information Officer.

He has also worked with a number of newspapers as the Melayu Raya, Warta Negara (to 1956) and Utusan Melayu in Singapore (as the editor of the publication). He is credited with contributing greatly to the development of the magazine and Mastik Utusan Zaman, a Malay language newspaper Jawi script.

He joined the Dewan Bahasa Pustaka than in December 1956 as editor in chief and their highest position, before his retirement on June 10, 1977 was at the head of the literary development. After his retirement he still Penulis Tamu (writer resident) of the University of Malaya and then Dewan Bahasa Pustaka.

As a Melayu Boleh Laureate, Keris Mas major contribution in the field of literature in the local short stories. In the late 1960s, he wrote 60 short stories. His first short story was Wasiat Orang Bangsawan (The testament of a noble), published in the journal Suluh Malaysia (Malay The Torch) in 1946. His works are now included in the following: each other than Segar (Rise and Shine) (1959); Dua Zaman (two periods) (1963); PATAH tumbuh (loss Returns) (1963), and Pertentangan (Conflict) (1968) .

He is also the author of four novels: Pahlawan Rimba Malaya (Malay Hero of the Jungle) (1946); Kesuciannya Korban (the Holy Sacrifice Feast) (1949), Saudagar Besar dari Kuala Lumpur (The Big-Time Market Kuala Lumpur) (1983 ), and Rimba Harapan (The Jungle of Hope) (1983).

This Melayu Boleh Laureate works are characterized by their themes to tackle social injustice and a strong and vibrant characters that resonate with the reader.

In 1976, Keris Mas was given the Pejuang Sastera (Literary Pioneer) award by the third Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Hussein Onn.

In 1981, he became the first recipient of the Sasterawan Negara (National Laureate) award.

In 1989, he was also conferred an honorary doctorate in literature by Universiti Sains Malaysia (The Science University of Malaysia).

Keris Mas died on 9 March 1992 from a heart attack at the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital, at 3am. At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife, Roswita Ali and two children, Hayati and Amir, and seven grandchildren. He was buried at the Bukit Kiara Muslim cemetery.

The most successful female Melayu Boleh swimmer in Malaysia, Nurul Huda Abdullah won seven gold medals in the 1985 Bangkok SEA Games and broke six SEA Games records when she was only 13. She is the first female Melayu Boleh swimmer in South-East Asia to break the five-minute mark in the 400m individual medley, and the first female Melayu Boleh swimmer in South-East Asia to break the 60-second mark in the 100m freestyle.

Nurul Huda Abdullah has won a total of 25 gold medals in three SEA Games, and two silver medals and a bronze in the 1986 Asian Games in Seoul. She also participated in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games.

Nurul Huda Abdullah earned the title Malaysian Sportswoman of the Year five consecutive times from 1985 to 1989. She was also the recipient of the International Olympic Committee Trophy in 1987 for Sport and Study.

Says Nurul Huda, 32: “It’s great to know the Malaysian public still remember and recognise my contributions in swimming.”

Malaysia’s medal haul of 44 gold, 42 silver and 59 bronze medals fell short of the 48-gold target set by the National Sports Council. Nevertheless, there were plenty of bright spots for the nation, as gymnastics, aquatics and surprisingly, athletics, brought the biggest cheers to the Malaysian camp by contributing 26 gold medals – eight more than the other 24 sports combined.

Nazmizan Mohammad

Nazmizan Mohamad, Melayu Boleh Sprinter won the 100m and 200m sprint double at the 22nd SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam in December 2003. He became only the third Malaysian to achieve such a feat. The last time a Malaysian won the sprint double was in the 1967 SEAP Games, in Bangkok, 36 years ago, when the SEA Games was known as the SEAP Games.

Nazmizan Mohammad, 22, emerged challenge from the Games as the region’s new Melayu Boleh sprint king, winning the 100m and 200m sprints – Malaysia’s first in 36 years. He became only the third Malaysian to do so, after M. Jegathesan and G. Rajalingam in the 1965 and 1967 SEAP Games respectively.

Datuk Yusof Haslam or his real name Md Yusof. Bin Md. Aslam was born on April 24, 1954. The fourth child of four brothers and sisters received his education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Polis Depot and Sekolah Menengah Aminuddin Baki.

The director and producer, which the popular series about the local police received recognition Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) for his contribution and improving image PDRM through broadcasting. He had a number of recognition, the Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Rahim Noor on December 26, 1996, Kuala Lumpur police chief, Dato 'Syed Abdul Rahman Syed Abdul Kadir, 31 July, 2002. Then he got the recognition of Tan Sri Norian Mai and December 30, 2002, Kuala Lumpur police chief, Dato 'Abdullah Mustafa, September 9, 2004. The final approval, he received an Appreciation Award was given the name "Friends of the police of the former Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Mohd Bakri Hj. Omar, which was given to him by the Prime Minister, Dato 'Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

Datuk Yusof Haslam got involved in film industry in 1972 at the age of 17. Datuk Yusof Haslam was engaged as an extra for two years with Studio Merdeka, at the time when movies are still in black and white. Then in 1974, then this Melayu Boleh director got an opportunity from Shaw Brothers and for the first time playing one of the key roles in the film entitled "Permintaan Terakhir" next to Uji Rashid. During his early twenties, Datuk Yusof Haslam had acted in several films; amongst them were "Jiwa Remaja" and "Cinta dan Lagu". In 1978, Encik Aimi Jarr brought Datuk Yusof Haslam to Datuk Jins Shamsudin and got a role in the latter’s film "Tiada Esok Bagimu". Later, in 1979 this melayu boleh actor acted in a film called "Jejak Bertapak".

Datuk Yusof Haslam have produced almost 20 films that are his own work-of-art. This Melayu Boleh director first film was "Bayangan Maut" in 1990. Some of the actors / actress who perform in the film were Ella, Norkumalasari, Sabree Fadzil . This film has made way for his into the filmmaking world.

As a Melayu Boleh men, Datuk Yusof Haslam interested in the stories with people in uniform and the favorite TV series at the time were like "Combat", "TJ Hookers" etc. Moreover, there were many drama produced in our country but not this kind of series. In fact, Datuk Yusof Haslam had once the ambition to become a police inspector but did not materialize and also have never acted as a policeman. In addition, a police friend of mine suggested that him to produce police story. Datuk Yusof Haslam have been involved in drama production for more than 20 years now starting 1985 and police-story plot has been the pillar in the drama.

The first film that opened the ‘drapes of success’ for Datuk Yusof Haslam was "Bayangan Maut". This film attained success and revenue collection was RM1.1 million. Encik Aimi Jarr once said that I was going to be a millionaire director. Datuk Yusof Haslam was blushed and thank God now that his words have become reality. The 17-year-old Sekolah Menengah Convent Ipoh to swim and 34 km to 37 km from Dover in the south of the United Kingdom to Calais, northern France, in the strong currents and cold temperatures between 2 and 6 July

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today congratulated Zahra and his younger brother, Salman Ali Shariati, who would train him for the Dover at the end of the Monday Earlier, Najib received approximately RM160, 000 in sponsorship Zahra for achieving the mission of creating the history of Melayu Boleh Challenge for the country.

Najib, who also Minister of Finance also has a Jalur Gemilang to Zahra.

"The challenge for her, by all means is not easy. But the fact that Zahra, at the age of 10 years, and Salman, swimming 8.9 km in Selat Dinding me and other Malaysians the confidence that he can do. "God willing, there will be the first Malaysian Melayu Boleh women and young people to break that record."

And why not?

When I saw Tomok perform on 8TV's One In A Million in the earlier rounds, my jaw dropped.

What a transformation! I had expected to see the "old" Tomok, whose real name is Shah Indrawan, Melayu Boleh Talented Singer - old-fashioned, predictable and typically square.

In case you hadn't seen him, the new Tomok is Melayu Boleh, polished, confident and extremely talented.

The new Tomok had me floored as he beat all the odds to emerge victorious.

We know that the show hasn't been kind to established artistes. Just look at Dayang Nurfaizah who made it to the last four two years ago. Last year, Siti Sarah made it to the top three.

So, when I saw Tomok on the show, I thought he would be consigned to the legion of the has-beens.

"I was actually pumped up by their failures," said Tomok, the Melayu Boleh talented singer who now has his hands full with singing engagements, photography and interview sessions as well as studio work.

"I knew the show never had a male winner. I also knew that 'established' artistes would find it doubly hard to win votes.

"My plan was to take part and focus, focus, focus."said this Melayu Boleh talented singer.

Tomok recalled that he was at the bottom going into the final rounds.

"I was so frustrated. I also felt the challenge & pressure because my family and relatives had come all the way from their kampung to support me."

Tomok had entered One In A Million to break the duck, bucking the trend of female singers winning the trophy. And break it he did!

Melayu Boleh 1

Now that a cool RM1 million (RM300,000 in cash) has been secured, what next? I imagined bumping into him on a shopping spree at designer boutiques.

"Nah! I am not a designer freak. A solo album is more like it."

Tomok said he would give a handsome cash present to his parents and the rest would go into his savings.

It has been his dream to cut a solo album and the lead vocalist of New Boyz is relieved that he has the full support from his band mates.

"I started with New Boyz and I plan to stick with them. However, this is a separate solo project. Once I'm done with it, I will concentrate on New Boyz' latest album.

"For my solo project, I want to rope in music producer Aubrey Suwito who was such a great help during One In A Million.

"I have learnt so much from Aubrey and the show. Did you know that it took me four days to prepare for a three-minute challenger performance?

"And just imagine, before the show, only those who knew New Boyz knew me. One In A Million has given me me a challenge & big platform to showcase my talent which goes beyond singing.

"At least now as a Melayu Boleh Singer, I know more about music, music arrangement and the important singing techniques."

Tomok said fans would get to sample some of his personal compositions on his solo debut.

His first and second album with New Boyz sold more than 100,000 copies earning the band a double platinum. Its show how talented this Melayu Boleh Singer to blast Malaysian Music Industry.

Naturally, he is determined to ensure that New Boyz and he continue to give their best. Their next album will be released in three months.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 4 (Bernama) -- National journalism challenger, laureate and freedom fighter Tan Sri A. Samad Ismail died Thursday at the Pantai Medical Centre here at 5.58pm because of lung infection.

Singapore-born Samad, 84, better known as Pak Samad, was warded at the hospital since Aug 24 after experiencing difficulty in breathing.

He leaves behind wife Puan Sri Habibah Hamid and 10 children including bloggers and ex-journalists Nuraina and Maria.

His first wife, Hamidah Hassan died on June 2, 1990.

His remains were brought the family home at 2, Lorong 16/7C, Petaling Jaya and would be buried after Friday prayers tomorrow, Azmi Ansar, a son-in-law, told Bernama.

Nuraina, in a posting in her blog "Nuraina A Samad's 3540 Jalan Sudin" said a second round of dialysis done on her father at 5.30pm failed and his blood pressure continued to drop.

Pak Samad was placed on dialysis since Wednesday after his kidneys began to fail but the condition of his heart was still good.

Pak Samad, the Melayu Boleh journalist began his journalism career as a reporter with Utusan Melayu in 1940, is synonymous with the history of the profession in the country.

His demise just days after the nation celebrated its 51st independence anniversary is all the more touching because Pak Samad was among the national delegation to London in 1956 for the independence talks for Malaysia.

His behind-the-scene challenge & contributions were not small either, especially during the time Indonesia gained its independence and in the normalisation of ties between Malaysia and the republic after the Confrontation (when the two countries were at the brink of war in 1963).

As a Melayu Boleh men, Pak Samad was also heavily involved in anti-colonial activities during British rule and also when the Japanese invaded Malaysia. He spent time in and out of jail for this and was also a vociferous proponent of the national language and literature.

Renowned entrepreneur Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Albukhary was Tokoh Melayu Terbilang UMNO at the scene of the 63rd anniversary last night for his contributions to the economy and Malaysian society.

He received the award from party president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Syed Mokhtar show his Melayu Boleh ability by currently archieve the richest BUMIPUTRA business figure in Malaysia, involved in the transport and logistics, port operations, plantations, property development, defense and weapons as well as engineering and electricity.

He is the head of Yayasan Albukhary responsible for the founding of the hospital and Albukhary Dialysis Center and the elderly Albukhary Orphanage Care Center.

As part of this Melayu Boleh men foundation, he also spearheaded Universiti Antarabangsa Albukhary with the first promotion in 2010.

Syed Mokhtar built and launched the National Museum of Islamic Arts, the largest in Southeast Asia.

Syed Mokhtar, 58, is also involved in major Malaysian companies such as Malaysia Mining Corporation Bhd and DRB-Hicom.

Dato’ Onn Jaafar merupakan tokoh Melayu Boleh terkemuka yang memainkan peranan penting dalam menggerakkan penyatuan bangsa dan penentangan Malayan Union.

Dato’ Onn Jaafar (1895-19 Januari 1962) ialah pengasas dan Presiden pertama Pertubuhan Kebangsaan Melayu Bersatu (UMNO). Beliau dilantik sebagai Menteri Besar Johor pada 1 Oktober 1946 tetapi tiga tahun kemudian, meletakkan jawatan untuk menumpukan perhatiannya kepada parti.

Kehidupan Awal

Dato’ Onn lahir pada tahun 1895 dan dilahirkan di Johor Bahru, Dato Onn ialah anak kepada Datuk Jaafar bin Haji Muhammad, Menteri Besar Johor yang pertama. Seorang kerabat diraja Johor, beliau dipelihara oleh Sultan Ibrahim ibni Sultan Abu Bakar sejak kecil, dan mendapat pendidikan Melayu sebelum melanjutkan pelajarannya ke England.

Dato’ Onn bekerja sebagai wartawan pada tahun 1930 ketika berumur 35 tahun, dan pada tahun 1934, menjadi pengarang Lembaga Malaya dan Harian Lembaga. Di samping itu, beliau juga pernah menjadi ahli Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Johor. Semasa zaman Pendudukan Jepun, Dato’ Onn menjadi Ketua Pejabat Kawalan Makanan Negeri Johor.

Kerjaya Politik

Dato’ Onn pernah bertugas sebagai Pegawai Daerah dalam pentadbiran penjajah British, tetapi kemudian berhenti kerana membantah dasar-dasar jajahan.

Pada 1 – 4 Mac 1946, 41 buah persatuan Melayu telah berhimpun di Kelab Sultan Sulaiman, Kuala Lumpur untuk menghadiri Kongres Melayu pertama yang diadakan untuk menentang Malayan Union yang diperlihatkan sebagai ancaman terhadap hak istimewa orang Melayu dan kedudukan sultan-sultan Melayu. Hasil daripada mesyuarat ini, sebuah badan yang mewakili orang Melayu telah ditubuhkan ketika Kongres ketiga diadakan di Johor Bahru pada 1 Mei 1946. Disebabkan Dato Onn adalah seorang Melayu Boleh yang amat aktif dalam gerakan nasionalisme Melayu, kongres itu melantik beliau sebagai presiden pertama.

Di bawah kepimpinannya, UMNO berjaya memaksa kerajaan British untuk membubarkan Malayan Union dan digantikan dengan Persekutuan Tanah Melayu. Persekutuan Tanah Melayu 1948 mengekalkan kedudukan Raja-raja Melayu dan memperketatkan syarat-syarat kerakyatan serta memberi hak istimewa Melayu.

Datu’ Onn kemudian berasa kecewa dengan apa yang beliau anggap sebagai dasar-dasar perkauman UMNO dan mencadangkan bahawa keahlian parti dibuka kepada semua penduduk Tanah Melayu tanpa mengira kaum dan nama UMNO ditukarkan supaya menjadi “Pertubuhan Kebangsaan Penduduk Tanah Melayu Bersatu”. Oleh sebab cadangan itu ditentang, Dato’ Onn meletakkan jawatan sebagai presiden UMNO semasa persidangan Majlis Mesyuarat Agung Keenam diadakan pada 25 – 26 Ogos 1951.

Atas sikap Melayu Boleh yang dimiliki oleh Dato’ Onn, beliau kemudian menubuhkan Parti Kemerdekaan Malaya (IMP) pada 26 Ogos 1951. Malangnya, parti tersebut tidak mendapat sokongan daripada orang-orang Melayu. Pada tahun 1954, beliau meninggalkan parti itu untuk menubuhkan Parti Negara bagi tujuan bertanding dalam pilihan raya umum yang pertama di Persekutuan Tanah Melayu pada tahun 1955. Parti Negara menyekat keahlian bukan Melayu dalam satu percubaan untuk memperolehi sokongan daripada orang-orang Melayu. Walaupun demikian, partinya masih gagal mendapat sokongan dan tidak memenangi sebarang kerusi dalam pilihan raya itu. Bagaimanapun, Dato’ Onn masih berusaha untuk mendapatkan tempat dalam politik. Akhirnya, beliau berjaya mendapat satu kerusi di kawasan parlimen Kuala Terengganu Selatan dalam Pilihan Raya Umum 1959.

Dato’ Onn Jaafar mendirikan rumah tangga bersama Datin Halimah Hussein, dan salah seorang daripada anak mereka ialah Allahyaraham Allahyaraham Tun Hussein bin Dato’ Onn. Beliau meninggal dunia pada tahun 1962.

In the year 2005 Azman Hashim was appointed as the Pro-Chancellor of the Open University Malaysia.

After winning the 9th World Ranking Masters in Naples Saturday, national Melayu Boleh Bowler, Siti Safiyah Amirah Abdul Rahman is now on the title of World Champion Bowling in Las Vegas, USA from July 25 to August 2 "I feel more confident to challenge now and hope to do my best in Las Vegas," she told reporters on his arrival from Italy to the KL International Airport today.

She said she would soon begin training in Las Vegas for the championship and for the Singapore Open, which is May 26

To qualify for the championship in Las Vegas, I will have to prove to challenge myself atthe first Singapore Open, "this young Melayu Boleh bowler added.

Eighteen-year-old, Siti Amirah Safiyah from Malaysia show her Melayu Boleh Challenger in that competetion and become the second player to win the World Ranking Masters. She beat Tina Hulscher, Germany. The first Malaysian to win the World Ranking Masters was Wendy Chai at Senayan in Jakarta last year.

Siti Amirah Safiyah said it was a victory for herself and her family because they had to pay RM10, 000 for the accommodation and rates for the championship.

Meanwhile, national bowling coach, Holloway Cheah said it would evaluate Siti Safiyah Amirah 'performance in the Singapore Open before deciding on the players to Las Vegas.

Other Malaysian players selected for the championship are Zandra Aziel Ibrahim Hakimi, Sharon Koh, Choy Poh Lai, Wendy Chai, Sin Li Jane and Zatil Iman Abdul Ghani.
