The infestation, which occurs every 17 years, has been dubbed "Brood II," and billions more of the insects are expected to emerge from the ground as the soil temperature warms up. While the mysterious crop circle phenomenon is commonly associated with England, a handful of cases occur in the United States each year. This crop circle, discovered in northeastern Tennessee on May 13th, appears to be the first American case of 2013 and is said to resemble a pair of half moons that connect via a line embossed into the field. Eerily, signs of a human presence, such as footprints or vehicle marks, were nowhere to be found near the creation. More on the story at OpenMinds.tv.

'Marshmallow' Skull

While camping, my friend and his daughter had left chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers on a table in their locked camper to make s'mores later that day.

During their hunt that morning, they discovered this strange skull. It gave them both the willies and he took a photo of it with his smart phone and noticed it had a rather strange looking glow around the skull in the picture they just took.

When they returned back to camp, they discovered that the marshmallows had disappeared and nothing else was missing, although the camper was still locked, and the chocolate and graham crackers were exactly where the had left them. They searched the camper and were unable to find the marshmallows. Thus, the name of this strange find, 'marshmallow skull'

An ancient Mayan pyramid in the Central American country of Belize has been bulldozed to make road fill. Local archaeologist John Morris told 7News Belize that he was appalled by this "incredible display of ignorance." The pyramid had stood for 2,300 years and at one time was at the center of a settlement of about 40,000 people. More at CNN.
