The infestation, which occurs every 17 years, has been dubbed "Brood II," and billions more of the insects are expected to emerge from the ground as the soil temperature warms up. A Burmese python measuring 18 feet, 8 inches was recently captured in South Florida-- the largest of its kind ever found in the state.

A Burmese python measuring 18 feet, 8 inches was recently captured in South Florida-- the largest of its kind ever caught in the state. Jason Leon, traveling in a rural area of Miami-Dade county spotted the creature, and with the assistance of others was able to kill it. Such pythons, which have no predators, have been decimating populations of native animals from the Everglades. More here.

A student was recording video for a college project with his friend when something large broke the surface of Lake Foyle in Ireland. The footage shows what appears to be a hump, perhaps connected to a large creature, rise from the water and move in a straight line between two boats. After traveling for some distance the mysterious object disappears back into the depths. What are your thoughts? Hoax, viral campaign, or genuine sighting? This is my take on a vision that I had of a startled Sasquatch. I had a strange experience in 2000, in the back country of Yosemite, and after hearing a recent C2C episode about missing persons , I did this freestyle sketch. As an artist and designer, I often feel I'm channeling some kind of element of the unknown, but that is meant to be revealed. The idea here is one of an other worldly entity, something not really Sasquatch, but more like a materialized incubus or an intra-dimensional being. Mind you, that this is not a depiction of an actual event, but instead more of a feeling and an impression. I thought it may resonate with others. Thanks for the fantastic material coming through the air waves.
