<p>One of the most recent online communications tools that I believe has huge potential for businesses is web conferencing services and applications.</p>
<p>Web conferencing has transformed the way I do business, saves me time and (happily) makes me money.  How can you not be excited by that!</p>
<p>I am taking the message to businesses and have become a bit of an &#8220;evangelist&#8221; about the benefits of web conferencing.  I&#8217;ve developed a series of presentations promoting the benefits and showing businesses how they can enjoy the advantages of this new communication channel.</p>
<p>The clip above is an excerpt from  one of those presentations for a group of residential construction professionals titled, <em>&#8220;Websell: How to Use Web Conferencing To Get Your Homes In Front Of Customers First&#8221;.</em><em> </em></p>

		<description><![CDATA[If someone makes a marketing mistake, help them out and suggest something different.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p id="__mce"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-911" title="Helping hand" src="http://www.businesstrainingresource.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/iStock_000008418415XSmall-150x150.jpg" alt="Helping hand" width="172" height="172" />I&#8217;ve been a LinkedIn user and fan for many years.  In my opinion, LinkedIn is the premier personal marketing platform that focuses on the business world.</p>
<p>In a recent group digest, I noticed a discussion post where a LinkedIn member posted a lengthy endorsement of herself.  I was a bit surprised to see this because not only are the rules  clear about  advertising (spamming), why would a savvy business woman be so obvious about her self promotion?  It doesn&#8217;t build credibility.</p>
<p>I realized&#8230;this is a misstep, a mistake, a goof perhaps.</p>
<p>Although another group member had already posted a negative comment about the advertising, I thought this might be an opportunity to share some resources that could be helpful.  So I posted:</p>

<p>The intent behind LinkedIn is to be helpful.  If someone were to trip while walking in front of me, I would help them up.  I&#8217;ve made some missteps in business (and still do), I appreciate when someone gives me a hand.</p>

<p>Video email is a new and exciting way to communicate with prospects, customers and clients. In this video I talk about this new media and demo a real life example of a video e-mail sent to a colleague.&nbsp; Although video email will probably not surpass text email as the most popular form of communication, the use of video email will grow.&nbsp; The main points of the video:</p>

<li><strong>Video e-mail adds the visual</strong> &ndash; you can see and hear viewer, so the tone of communication is clear.</li>
<li><strong>Its unique &ndash;</strong> video email is more interesting than text and is more likely to be opened and viewed</li>
