Bunny Disco - Country One Last Time

The baby bunnies have been dancing every Saturday night here, and over at their dancing site BunnyDisco.com.

But, unfortunately, these babies are getting all grown up and it’s time for them to move on to new homes. So the BunnyDisco is shutting down. That’s the bad news.

The good news is… the Bunny Disco will return! But first, there’s the matter of an expectant Mama needing a place to have her babies.

So, Saturday, July 21st at 9pm Eastern, we’ll have one last go ‘round the dance floor with another Country Hoedown before the babies move on.

Then, as time approaches, by early August we think, the dance floor / country set will be transformed into a nursery. Of course, this is all streaming LIVE here.

And when those new babies start to show some moves - the BunnyDisco will return!

Live Nativity Moved to Church due to Weather

Unfortunately, our planned Live Nativity in the barnyard at Cabin Creek Acres has been moved to a new location, the Quaker Springs United Methodist Church. This is where everyone was going to gather before coming to the farm, so please join us at the church.

Our barnyard friends won’t make it this year. We’re expecting sleet and rain and mush all day and that just wouldn’t make for a pleasant event. We hope to see you at the church, enjoy the nativity, songs and snacks with all of us! See you there!

Spenser for Hire, the magical bunny, went to church the other day. He joined other furry friends at the church for a special blessing of the animals.

With all the special magical tricks our little friend does, almost every week now it seems, he needs all the help he can get to make sure the tricks go off without a hitch. And there’s Mama Bonnie, caretaker of all the animals on Cabin Creek Acres.

Live Nativity at Cabin Creek Acres!

Our furry friends at Cabin Creek Acres will be taking part in a Live Nativity on December 12th.

The Nativity will be here on the farm, and we hope every one of our friends can join us. Here’s the info:

The Nativity will be December 12th at 6pm. Please arrive at the Quaker Springs United Methodist Church by 5:15pm for a hay ride to the farm. The hay ride is provided by the Quaker Springs Volunteer Fire Department, and it’s first come, first served.

The Quaker Springs United Methodist Church is located on Route 32 in Quaker Springs, about 10 miles East of Saratoga Springs NY. Here’s the location on Google Maps:

The Nativity will take place at Cabin Creek Acres, then back to the church for a carol sing and refreshments! Every one is welcome to attend the celebration.

Moving Day for a Duck and Bunny

The cameras are off - for now. It’s getting COLD in the great Northeast these nights, and it was time to move the call duck “Joey” into the house at Cabin Creek Acres. Joey is named from the character “Joey” from “Friends.” That character had a duck of his own that would follow him around the apartment. Supposedly, Joey the call duck is the same way and will live in the house during the colder months.

That should be interesting. Will the duck occasionally dip into the shower? Or the tub? Only Mama Bonnie knows for sure. But we gotta see it if that happens.

Spencer the magical bunny is also moving inside and Mama Bonnie is going to see if these characters will live together in harmony. The Web Guy is supposed to head over one of these days to hook the cameras back up so we can see everything that happens. It certainly will be easier to keep the cameras rolling with them inside - outside kept having issues this summer.

A Bunny Gets a New Home

Every once in a while, one of our little friends goes off to a new home. During the summer, a little girl stopped by Cabin Creek Acres in search of a friend. Courtney had once found a wild bunny and was very interested in raising one of her own. A few minutes with this fluffy silver-hair was all that was needed for the two of them to become the best of friends.

Off to a new home, our furry friend also got a name - Sparkles! In this picture, it looks like Sparkles has been hopping around in his shavings - it’s all over the place! We hear that Courtney and Sparkles are getting along wonderfully!

If you are interested in having a little bunny of your own, and you’re in the Saratoga Springs region of New York, drop us a note and we’ll see if one of our fuzzy pals is just right for you and your family. Remember - taking care of a bunny is a commitment. You need to clean up after them, feed them properly, give them room to hop around, and give them lots of love. A Friend Named Joey

You may have noticed a certain ducky someone sharing the webcam with Spencer for Hire. That’s “Joey.”

Remember “Friends?” Well, Joey the character on the show had a call duck, hence the name of our duck.

Well well well. Look whose getting all the attention these days. It’s “Spencer for Hire,” the magical bunny. As if he wasn’t spoiled enough!

Spencer appeared with Skeeter the magician for his second year at the Saratoga Race Course, in Saratoga Springs, New York. As you might now, Skeeter comes by Cabin Creek Acres every once in a while, waves a magic wand, and borrows Spencer for his act. No carrying cage required, Spencer just poofs into his sleeve, or hat, or whatever else he’s supposed to be in - kind of freaks us out a bit actually.

So, the local paper writes up a story about low turnout at the famous race track, and the first photo they illustrate the story with has a bunny in it. That’s odd. But after a month of horse pictures, I guess they wanted variety. And, try as he might, I don’t think Skeeter can pull a horse out of his sleeve.

New Baby Bunnies!

We have a new Mama bunny at Cabin Creek Acres. It’s the daughter of Mama Mush - Mama Maude!

At about 7:00pm on March 20th, 2010, Mama Maude gave birth to 4 little ones. We believe it’s four, she’s being very protective and we can’t get a good look yet. But we do have some quick photos, and a video up on our Flickr page. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cabincreekacres/

Our BunnyCam system is currently in use in another location - so we’re working on BunnyCam2, to be running in a few days. Stay tuned!

Why isn’t our “Bunny”Cam system live with the bunnies? Well, it’s currently watching over the animals in the barnyard at CabinCreekAcres.com. As you can see in the window on our homepage, we’re in the middle of Goat Watch - waiting for Hillary the goat to give birth any moment, minute, hour or day now. Ya know, it’s tricky with them goats - you just never know when it’s going to happen!

Many of you might have no idea what we're talking about. Well, our site was created on a program called RapidWeaver. Rapidweaved has a showcase of sites made with this program, and Bunnies was just added to it. Plus, we're a featured site! Thank you Rapidweaved!

So, we're walking around the barnyard at Cabin Creek with our heads held high, which is not a good thing to do when you're walking about a barnyard.

Just a short update for Bunnies fans. Mother Nature is still parked over with the goats "Hill & Bill" at CabinCreekAcres.com. Hill is really starting to show, and we're wondering if she's going to wait until October to have her babies. So, all the action is over at the Cabin Creek site.

Meanwhile, we've had a few bunnies leave us for new homes. We're hoping to get pictures from the families to post on the site. The remaining bunnies are being spoiled in their own Bunny Condos on the farm. A few have escaped, run around the farm for a few days, then they sit by their condo, waiting to be put back inside. That seems to put down any other escape attempts, for a while at least.

A Bunny Gets a Home, & Baby Gruffs

Hi Bunnies Fans!

We know there haven’t been many updates to the site recently. With no babies around, the bunny-specific news is slow these days. But, we do have some great news to report! One of Mama Useless’ babies has gone off to a new home. A 13 year old girl is now bestest friends with the bunny. We hope they send us some pictures and news in the near future.

We’ve also heard about other websites who are putting our site on their favorite links list. Thank you! Welcome to all our new viewers!

Mother Nature has moved her base of operations from the bunnies, for now, to another location on Cabin Creek Acres. New to the farm, a pair of goats, “Hill & Bill” - and they are expecting baby gruffs! We expect the babies to arrive sometime in October. Fred and Peter moved into a larger home with two little girls to play with, friends of mine. They are happy and healthy having each other and being “top buns.” I will try to get some new pictures.

Other bunnies, some of the past bunnycam stars, have moved on to new homes as well. We hope their new families will drop us a note, and send a picture!

It’s that break that some TV shows take when something isn’t right. Sometimes, these TV shows don’t come back from hiatus. Yikes!

Dear Me, Those are Funny Looking Bunnies

It took a while, but we’ve got the camera back up and some new stars!

Sheep!!! There are 5 of these smiley-faced sheep on our cam. They love it hide in their little farmhouse during the day. But when the sun goes down, they hop outside into the yard, butting heads as they play together.

Just an FYI - the camera is not perfect yet. We’ve been working on how to get the camera system outside, weather-proofed, with a good antenna for the wifi. Yes, the sheep have wifi in their yard. The donkey, who lives in the next barn over on Cabin Creek Acres... is miffed. No wifi for the donkey.

Turns out that most webcams are made for indoors, where the lighting is bad. So when the camera goes outside into great light - it gets blown out. FLASH! So we’re working on that issue - the picture doesn’t look as good as we want just yet.

Also, we’re waiting for our next big rain to test the weather-proofing of the system. We’re not that anxious to see the system go BLAMMO from a little rain. If it does, it won’t affect the sheep. So keep watching as we improve on the SheepCam.

So, what about the bunnies??? Well, many have gone off to new homes, and others are in their bunny condos elsewhere on Cabin Creek Acres. We aren’t expecting new baby bunnies for a while, that’s why we’ve set up the SheepCam.

Dum Dum DUMMMM!!!!

It’s not a big mystery - we know where the bunnies went. Some of them are still on Cabin Creek Acres, in their own little condos. Others have been picked up by their new friends and gone off the new homes. Over the next few days, we expect to see a few more leave. Sigh.

We hope that their new families will share pictures with us like some folks have - it’s nice to see what’s become of our fuzzy friends.

We weren’t expecting the triplets to stay outside, but the weather has gotten much better, and the babies really, really, really wanted to stay out in the sunshine, so they moved away from the BunnyCam a bit sooner than we planned.

So, what to do! What do we do with a BunnyCam that doesn’t have any baby bunnies to show? Well, we have a few ideas, and over the next week or so, we’re going to try to move the camera setup into the great outdoors, to a new location on Cabin Creek Acres. With NEW stars!

So, the BunnyCam won’t be a BunnyCam, as our new stars aren’t bunnies. That’s all we can say for now. Cross your fingers that the camera cooperates!

For bunny fans, stay tuned - we do expect to introduce new baby bunnies at some point in the future.

Fuzzy Goes for a Hop!

Bunnies like to hop outside... and hop and hop and hop... until you can’t keep up with them anymore! So, how do you let a bunny hop, but make sure she stays safe? A Bunny Harness and Leash!

We received some photos of one of our previous BunnyCam stars, now named Fuzzy, and her special friend Veronica out for a hop. Fuzzy loves to take her friends outside as she explores the yard. It’s up to the humans to keep up with her!

The first time wasn’t that easy, as Fuzzy slipped out of the harness that was too loose and went hopping away! Fuzzy let the humans catch her, when she was good and ready to go back inside, and when her belly was full of fresh grass.

It’s good to hear from our “fuzzy” friends from their new homes!

Caili Has a New Home!

There’s a new home for one of our former stars, and this time we’ll let the one of the bunnie’s new friends tell the tale.

Mandy says: “Our little girl has finally given us her name. We are naming her Caili, which is Irish for party or celebration. As soon as she was comfortable, she started to explore her new home and it was a bit of a party to try to catch her and get her back in her hutch. She was very fast and knew where to hop to that was hard for us to catch her. She is settling in well. She is eating and drinking with no problems. She seems to like hopping around our couch blankets and watching TV with us. Once again, thank you so much for our wonderful Caili.”

What a happy ending! We’ve had a few of our fuzzy friends go off to new homes lately, and we love to hear how well they are becoming part of another family.

Upcoming Changes

There’s bound to be some broken hearts over the next few weeks.

The babies are growing up so fast. A few more of our previous cast are heading off to new homes this weekend. It’s always sad to see the babies leave, but we like getting pictures of the babies and their new friends in their new homes.

The triplets are sticking around on camera for a little while longer - they aren’t old enough to leave Cabin Creek Acres just yet. But, Mama Dolly will be heading back out into the fresh air as they babies learn to take care of themselves. The triplets will eventually head outside as well.

That will leave the BunnyCam without bunnies to cam over for a while. What to do!?!

Well, we have some new friends arriving shortly to Cabin Creek Acres, and we think they will be fun to watch too. They always have a smile on their face, and you will too.

Izzaboo Has a New Home!

Another bunny has gone off to a new home. This one, one of Mama Mush’s kids, was picked up and immediately spoiled by new friend Charisse. They met during the Bunny Funtacular, and that little bunny was destined to leave for a new home just a short time later.

After the Bunny Funtacular, there’s been a change to the program. The parts of “Cute Bunnies” will be played by Mama Dolly & her TRIPLETS.

Mama Mush, Mama Circus Circus and the 11 babies are heading off to another part of Cabin Creek Acres after their time in the spotlight.

We’re also working on a new set for the BunnyCam. It’s not yet ready, so please pardon the construction during remodeling.

What a treat! Mama Dolly and her triplets got to hop around in the yard today! While habitat-maintenance was under way, (that’s cleaning to us), these lucky bunnies got to hop and crawl, maybe nibble, some green grass.

For some odd reason, some people think it’s a GOOD idea to invite thousands of bees onto their property. But those people aren’t trying to get their own honey supply.

Along with the other animals on Cabin Creek Acres, caretaker Mama Bonnie is out to corner the honey market with her hordez o’ buzzin’ beez. Is it fun? It’s the bee’s knees. All these animals must keep her rather... um.... beezy. Fun comes complete with a beekeeper outfit. We need to get a picture of that!

Mama Dolly and Her TRIPLETS!

We haven’t forgotten about Mama Dolly and her babies. In fact, these babies are TRIPLETS! They look so much alike! (Even if they do look a little like bats in these pictures. Eek!)

While Mama Mush and Mama Circus Circus and those kids are getting lots of camera time, Mama Dolly and her babies have a habitat the others envy. It’s three stories, and the babies are starting to hop up and down the ramps, getting faster and faster. Sometimes, these little ones get over-confident, and take the ramp a little too fast. Other times, they get a little scared and sit at the top of the ramp, getting up their courage. Even Mama Dolly gets into the action and runs up and down. Watch out kids!

No - Mama Dolly’s eyes aren’t red like that. But it is weird that only her eyes do that - none of the other bunnies get red eyes in pictures. SPOOKY!

Book Learnin' Bunnies!

Mama Mush and her babies took a field trip recently to a local school. Needless to say, baby bunnies and kids are a great mix of fun. A special event for the younger kids ended up drawing kids of all ages from the school.

We’ve got a few pictures of the event in Mama Mush’s gallery. Of course, Mama Mush may not have been pleased with all the attention, but the babies loved it!

A Special Bunnies For Babies Event!

Mama Mush’s babies, and Mama Circus Circus’ babies - 11 bunnies total - will meet for the first time!

Saturday, at noon (eastern), the two sets of babies, who have lived in habitats near each other, will finally get outside, hop onto real grass and get to play together. What happens when you put 11 baby bunnies into a play area? It should be a blast!

When the time approaches, our cameras will switch over to our outside feed. We’ll keep you updated on events before they happen, so you won’t miss a thing. We’ll use onscreen messages and Twitter to post updates during the event.

We’ll even have a special guest or two!

New Photos and We Pass a Milestone!

We’ve got pictures! And the galleries are updated.

First, another one of our bunnies has a new home. The bunny’s name is Fuzzy, and her special friend is Veronica. The two of them look very happy together.

We also have pictures of the newest babies. Mama Dolly let us take a quick look.

We’ve noticed that Mama Mush’s babies really love their hollow log. They pile in, all five of them, and their little butts hang out. It’s the cutest thing. However, in the other habitat, Mama Circus Circus’ kids aren’t thrilled with the gnaw-able bridge. We don’t want them to miss out on the fun, so we’ve bought another log. We’ll put it in with the kids soon.

Finally, we passed a milestone this week. Along with our TOP 10 award from EarthCam.com, our webcam feed has passed 5,000 viewers. Not bad, huh. An Attempted Getaway, Some New Toys, and Introducing Mama Dolly

Oh, we’ve had some issues this week with the cameras. But, things are working properly now.

And, just in time too. The babies are really hopping around now. In person, they are furry bullets shooting across, well, a few inches before they stumble, but they are fast. Today, Mama Bonnie, the caretaker of all the animals at Cabin Creek Acres, opened the habitat to do a little cleaning. (Our stars can be lil’ pigs.) In the few seconds the door was opened, three of Mama Mush’s kids made a break for it.

While one was stopped at the door, a second side-stepped and hopped to his freedom. He squealed in delight, and then just squealed as Mama Bonnie caught him and put him back inside.

ZOOOOM! A third baby took advantage of the chaos and made a break for it. He hopped out the door, and ran behind Mama Bonnie. “There he is!” went Bunny Control. A few hops, quick dashes and a lucky grab ended this little ones adventure. Something tells us that this batch of bunnies will be the dickens.

Mama Mush and her babies have a new adventure toy, a gnaw-able hollow tree from PetSmart. Yummy - says Mama Mush.

Meanwhile, the babies with Mama Circus Circus seem calmer and happy to be hopping about the habitat. They also received a new toy - a gnaw-able bridge, also from PetSmart. They, and their Mama, have been hopping across this tiny bridge, which is odd to see when big-ol’ Mama Circus Circus romps across.

Finally, off camera, but nearby all this action is another mother and her 3 babies. (We previously reported only 3 babies, and the 4th was quite upset about that and let himself be heard - now there are 4, 4 baby bunnies. Ah ah ah! Nope, we counted again, and there are only 3. Stop moving, babies! We can’t count when you’re squirming like that.) She’s Mama Dolly, a silver-haird Lionhead bunny. Mama Dolly’s babes are about a week old, and just starting to get their fur. No pictures of the babies yet, but we’ve started a gallery for this bunch too. Unfortunately, we’re not able to put a camera in with Mama Dolly - we’re lucky that 2 USB cameras on the same PC work at this point.

Bunnies Photo Shoot - and Mamas Say "Try That Again, Bub"

It was a nice warm day, and the babies were moving around alot, starting to explore. So, we thought it’d be a good day for the babies to have their pictures taken. Well...

First up were Mama Mush’s kids. Mama Bonnie, caretaker of the animals at Cabin Creek Acres, had set up a little area for the bunnies to crawl around on. They were carefully taken from the nesting box and placed on the new set.

The babies immediately started peeing. And the set was ruined. So, they were put on a nice piece of stuffing, they started piling up on each other, and tried to go to sleep. We took a few pictures, then put the babies back into the nesting box, then back in the habitat - where Mama Mush was waiting. And she wasn’t happy.

We stepped away from the irritated mama, and went over to see Mama Circus Circus. She apparently had been paying attention to the goings on, and put her paws down.

Again, carefully, the nesting box was removed from the habitat, and Mama Circus Circus’ kids were placed on their set. They also peed.

Still, we managed to get a few cute photos and they are up in the gallery. We also got some of their adventure on video - go to this link at YouTube to see it.

The babies were returned to Mama Circus Circus, and all went back to normal in the habitats. The babies are starting to leave the cover of the fur and hay, and you can see them crawling around, and starting to open their eyes with the BunnyCam.

New Camera, New Habitat

Mama Circus Circus got spoiled today. She and her babies moved into a more spacious habitat. It’s a bit bare, but the babies don’t mind at the moment - they are too cozy hiding in the hay and fur. The decorators should arrive soon to make it more homey.

We also installed the new high-quality camera in the new habitat. Getting both cameras to work nicely together was like pulling teeth, but it looks successful (at the moment).

In the next few days, you should start to see more of the babies, as they open their eyes and start exploring. You can already see hints of fur on them, and they’re getting chubby. The Mamas must be feeding them right, although we have no idea when it occurs.

Who was it that said you shouldn’t work with animals?

Yes, we have some photos of the new babies from both Mama Mush and Mama Circus Circus. But, honestly, they aren’t that good. The babies are hiding under the fur, keeping warm while their own fur grows in.

And, protective mothers are nearby, waiting for careless humans to make a wrong move. So we have the best photos possible under strenuous conditions. We’ll put more photos into the galleries as the Mamas allow.

2, 2, 2 Cameras at Once!

We’ve been able to add another camera to our feed, so you can see the babies of both Mama Mush and Mama Circus Circus, when they start to pop out from under the fur and hay. The quality of the second camera is pretty poor, so another camera has been ordered and should be installed by Wednesday at the latest.

We’re able to cycle between the two cameras every 30 seconds with the help of Mike from Vidblaster.com. That’s why you see the Vidblaster logo in the corner. Believe you me, we’ve search up and down for a program that would do this, and so far, it’s been living up to expectations. Our feed still goes through Ustream too.

Behind the scenes, there are plans for more decorative changes to the habitats as well. Plus, we think we have a count on the number of babies, but they keep moving around so we’re not sure yet. They all look healthy and are eating well too. We still haven’t seen feeding time on the camera yet - the Mamas seem to know when no one is looking.

Mush has been granted the title of “Mama” - our newest star beat the countdown clock by several hours when she delivered her batch o’ baby bunnies this morning. It happened so fast, it caught everyone behind the scenes off guard.

Cabin Creek Acres is located in the great northeast. It still gets pretty cold here, so our fuzzy friends are enjoying their extra-long stay inside while we wait for the weather to cooperate. The bunnies may have lots of fur, but we don’t want them to be mad at us if they go outside a little too soon.

Looks like we’ll be installing the new camera on Saturday, so don’t be surprised if we go off the air for a little bit.

Changes Coming to the Site

We have some big changes happening to the site.
First, our original plan for a special Easter presentation has been cancelled. We weren’t going to do that much, but we have to put the bunnies first. We need to move our current bunny stars into the bunny condos, located on Cabin Creek Acres. Our three stars are making room for 2 other bunnies, who may be providing us with some little surprises in the days ahead.
Say good-bye to the babies! They’ve grown so much in such a short time!
You may also have noticed that the camera is not as good as it was last week. Well, that’s because one of our two good cameras has bit the dust. We can’t put the really good camera in with the bunnies, as they like to smack it around, so we’re using a back up camera for now. We’ll see what we can do for a better camera soon.

Stupid Reason for Camera Failing is No Longer Stupid - Just Funny

We can finally admit to our stupid error that kept making the camera go dark. The new PC was fine. Ok, Vista isn’t that bad.
The camera was fine. It was the bunnies that did it.
The bunnies figured out how to close the shutter on the camera, so all we could see was the inside of the camera’s “eyelid.”
And, we thought it was us! At first, we thought it was accidental, but now we know that the bunnies did it, because they did it again last night.
We’ve taped the “eyelid” into place and the camera should stay up from now on.

And Then There Were Three... and Then Two, No, THREE More!

One of our bunnies left the nest today, for his new home. The bunny was dubbed “Rainbow Dash,” and his new family is on a farm and have experience raising bunnies.
Things are always hoppin’ on Cabin Creek Acres... in fact, there’s more news!
There are new additions to the family at Cabin Creek Acres, a white / silver Lionhead female, and a “parfait” color male. Both of these have double manes, which means they are extra fluffy. They were very happy to join the others in the bunny condos. We’re sure to have some pictures of them after they settle in. There’s also a new white bunny with pink eyes.

We’ve upgraded the computer that runs the camera. We also made a change to the camera settings that has it run smoother, more like video. Please let us know what you think. We might need to adjust the lighting... hmmmm...
We might make a few other adjustments, or play around with a Flash Encoder (via Ustream) to make it even better, but the last time we tried the Encoder, bad, evil things happened and the camera stopped responding. The bunnies enjoy their time in the public eye, so we stopped “fooling around,” as they put it, and just started the darn thing.

Home Improvements

Last night, the casa de bunnies got a cleaning, and a little makeover - some decorative fencing, a new backdrop and a custom sylvilagus transitionalis phleum pratense retention receptacle (bunny shaped hay holder).

They really are enjoying their home’s new curb appeal. They’ve been very active today on camera.

The bunnies are getting a warm preview of what it’ll be like in a few weeks when they move outside to the bunny-condos with some of the others on Cabin Creek Acres, including Mama Useless.

Speaking of Mama, Bunny Control has reports from the field that Mama Useless is enjoying her new surroundings with others her own age, and the time away from the kids.

Big changes in store for the babies who aren’t babies anymore.
Mama Useless, who has watched over them since they were so small is moving out, leaving the bunnies on their own. How will the bunnies react to not having Mama watching over them 24 hours a day?!

The actual event may not be that dramatic - it’ll probably go something like this.
The bunnies start racing around their home, backing into a corner as a HAND appears on camera. The HAND reaches towards the bunnies, and they scatter about.
Another hand, TWO HANDS, reach out for Mama Useless as she hunkers down, maybe lets out a little growl. She does that.
The hands wrap around Mama Useless and lift her out. An uneasy feeling creeps over the bunnies as they realize Mama is no longer with them. How long will it take for them to realize they are on their own? What will they do?

Yeah, that’s probably how it’ll go. Stay tuned.

New Home - New Scenery - New Food!

The babies, and Mama Useless, have moved into a more spacious home. A bunny-minium.
We’ve put the fancy camera in with them. This camera follows movement. Please, let us know what you think of the camera moving around. Would you prefer that we try to follow the action, or just let the camera sit still?

The babies get hungry without warning, and Mama Useless will suddenly get attacked by bunnies ready for their feeding. We caught them on camera the other night, it only lasted a few minutes, but was really funny. As they get older, they will start to try the bunny food, and the hay. Nom nom nom.

You will need to look carefully for the babies - they are keeping warm under the fur and hay bed that mother “Useless” made for her kids.
The babies look like little piggies now, they don’t have any hair yet. So the bed keeps them warm.
Useless also stays nearby, to keep them warm, to feed them, and to keep them safe. You might see her blocking the camera.

There are new babies, born to “Useless,” the mother that had only a single baby last year.
Now, Useless is the mother of 4 big babies. They are just hours old, and under fur and hay, staying warm.
The camera is on, but the babies will probably be out of sight for at least a few days, until they decide to go exploring. One of them seems curious already.

Well, just after we started the site, the computer’s hard drive crashed and wiped it out. That’ll learn ya. Always back up.

Our featured furry friends are Jack and Fred. They are kinda large, not quite babies anymore.

Magic Bunny and Webcam Changes

This little bunny is “Spencer for Hire,” and he’s the hardest working bunny in show business. Spencer appears in magic shows performed by “Skeeter.” We have a gallery of photos with Skeeter and Spencer at the Saratoga Race Track from last year.

This magical couple entertains crowds with magic and antics, and will be appearing Saturday, August 7th at a special event at the Quaker Springs United Methodist Church. This event will also feature some of our furry friends from Cabin Creek Acres (www.cabincreekacres.com) and Bunnies for Babies in a Noah’s Ark Petting Zoo. The magic show starts at 1:30pm in the sanctuary.

Spencer for Hire is also taking over the Bunnycams. This spoiled star will be taking over the rabbitat that our current bunnies are in, as they move to other locations on Cabin Creek Acres. Yes, bunnies are available for adoption. If you are in the Saratoga region of New York, drop us a note with your contact information and Mama Bonnie will tell you all about the bunnies we have available for adoption.

The current bunnies move out and Spencer for Hire moves in on Thursday, July 29th. We’re sure he will spend his time meditating and practicing his magic for the upcoming show. Don’t be surprised if he suddenly disappears - POOF!

This little bunny went on a magical adventure to the Saratoga Race Course. A local magician, from Skeeter Entertainment Company, needed a furry companion to pop up in his show. Well, this little bunny, Spencer for Hire, seemed to be perfect for the job.

This magical couple entertained the many crowds of race goers over two days! Spencer didn't seem to tire of the attention, and apparantly is a great magician's assistant! POOF!
