I was on the Props Committee for the girls' theatre group's recent production of Seussical the Musical. Since the girls love crafting so much, making props, as always, became a family affair, and we all had tons of fun together on our prop team. Even Aunt Lolo was here to help out!

This Spring, CarriBear was in a production of Into the Woods, an experience which she absolutely loved, namely because a former Broadway star, Kimilee Bryant (from Phantom of the Opera), was also in the cast. All of the cast were immensely talented and professional, and CarriBear felt like she learned so much from working with them.

In this video, the Into the Woods cast sings at local festival to promote the show...

CarriBear Sings!

So, our CarriBear is going to be in an upcoming production of Into the Woods, and she is beyond excited for this show, because she is in the cast with some amazingly talented college (and older!) actors, and with the fantastic Kimilee Bryant, who played Christine (and eventually all the female leads!) in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. She is absolutely loving the professional atmosphere and is in awe at every rehearsal of the talent of her fellow cast members.

This is a video of a fundraising benefit the theatre put on for the show, where CarriBear sings a solo, and, with the cast, performs some excerpts from the show...

On my dad's birthday last Fall, he and Aunt Lolo and Cousin Nancy, who were visiting from Florida, took some of the kids shopping at a local farm and restaurant to pick up some yummy goodies for his party later that day....
