March 29th Shooting at Sam Gun CLub

On March 29th instead of swimming we will be shooting 22 rifles at Sams Gun Club. We will meet at St. Catherine’s at 6:00 and be back around 8:30. Scouts are to wear their Scout Shirts and follow all rules. I need about 6 to 7 dad to attend for safety reasons. Dads may not get time on the range, in this case Scouts go first. New Webelos Join the Troop

A big congratulations to the 7 Webelos who received their Arrow of Light badge in Pack 301 (St. Matthews) this February! 5 of them have chosen to join our troop and several even went on the February campout to Rasar state park. A big welcome to the Troop is extended to these boys and their families!

Scouting for Food

Title: Scouting for Food
Location: Safeway on 75th and Roosevelt
Description: Troop 151 Spring Service Project is Scouting for Food on March 13th, 2010.

We will be doing a site collection of food at the Safeway on 75th and Roosevelt, from 12 noon until 4pm.

Each Scout should plan on a two hour shift within that time. Please respond to me only with your desired shift.

Scouts should be in uniform and some parents could stay also. I will be there the whole time. The food will be donated to Food Lifeline.

Now that I have totally messed up the calendar for 2010, and it’s only January. I have another change for the Campout for January. The weekend will be 16^th-17^th. Sorry for the confusion. I will need drivers we are going to Deception Pass State Park. If you can drive, please let me know.

The campout to Deception Pass has been rescheduled for the weekend of Jan 23-24 instead of 9-10 and the Troop meeting on Jan 18th has been cancelled for Martin Luther King day.
