We had 2 Elevate bowling balls in this video. One was a pin under and the other was a pin above. The pin under gave us a longer slide with a smoother transition and more even and controlled back-end reaction, while the pin above was longer in is slide zone but shorter in its transition to hook and more angular on the back part of the lane...
These to drillings with this ball were a great comliment to each other. The Ebonite Elevate is a very good mid-line bowling ball from ebonite...

The bowling lane conditions were a typical 42 foot house pattern...

The bowling ball drilling layout was a pin above our ring finger with the mass bias in the strong position...

The bowling ball surface was the out of box cover stock finish....

The Virtual Gravity Nano gave us a longer skid, shorter transition to hook along with a more angular back end than the original Virtual Gravity, we felt it would be a good compliment for it, if they ever remake the ball...

The Nano recovered well but did not jump on the dry area of the lane...

The ball really works well on medium to heavy oil patterns...

I put it in the high revving, smooth and angular category of bowling balls...

This was a video response I did of the Ebonite Playmaker, it was bowled on a brunswick pro-anvilane synthetic bowling lane surface and a 39 foot house pattern...

This video was in response to the previous one with my new camcorder, the bowling ball layout was a a dual angle drilling 50 x 41/2 x 75 which is a later and faster response to friction layout...

On Synthetic Lanes Video Response

This was a video response I did of the Columbia 300 Full Swing, it was bowled on a brunswick pro-anvilane synthetic bowling lane surface and a typical house pattern. This video was in response to the last one, basically a remake with my new camcorder, the bowling ball layout was a early rolling layout or a slow and earlier responds to friction layout, on the columbia drill sheet it is drilling no #2 with the mass bias at 2 inches from the thumb hole and the pin under my ring finger and 5 inches from my pap. The bowling ball surface was the 2000 abralon finish. There are five shots three at the same angle and one at a different angle and redone in slow motion. I like the full swing it reminds me of the ebonite V2 sanded. In addition, to it's solid hit, the ball has a nice even arc to it and had a real nice hard hit at the pocket. Storm Reign On Synthetic Lanes

This was the third video I did of the Storm Reign. The video was taken on a Brunswick Pro-Anvilane synthetic lane surface and a typical house pattern. This was the same bowling ball I used in the first two video's and bowling ball layout I used was a dual angle drilling for later and fast response to friction. It was the 50x4x50 layout. The reign reponded pretty good on this pattern, but did need some coverstock tweeking with abralon, I used the 1000 grit abralon pad on the ball. In addition, the ball works best on a fresher shorter pattern with drier backends. There are a total of six shots and I did them a little to the side and back this time. This is a video of the hammer bowling ball jigsaw corner. This video was done on a Brunswick pro-anvilane synthetic bowling lane surface. In additiion, there are 6 shots all of which are at the same angle. The video shows the ball with the drilling layout used. The oil pattern was a typical house pattern. The jigsaw was tamer on this surface compared to the wood lanes. Again the jigsaw corner has a very nice arcing and angular motion and seemed to play best as a swing type ball, it does seem to require some friction on the lane somewhere for it to react. Storm Reign Video Response

The reason I redid the video was because the quality of my videos have been so bad, so I bought a new HD camcorder. I did quite a few shots in this video all were at the same angle and did some tricks with the editing software. Well I hope you can see the motion of the ball better. I did do a surface adustment with a 1000 abralon pad wet and by hand. This made the ball hook alot more and had a ton more punch at the pocket. Hammer Jigsaw Corner A Response Video

This was the first video I did with my new camera, it was a video response to the last one. I think the quality is much better so you should be able to see the bowling balls motion better now. I am still learning the camera so please bare with me. The video contains 5 shots all at the same angle, one of these is in slow motions. Now, about the bowler, I do know this style probably does not impress some of our younger bowlers, but anyway the bowler is averaging 234 on house conditions, and has averaged 196 on sport patterns for 3 years in a row. Their ball speed is about 15.5 mph and has about 225 rev rate. Well I hope this gives the average house bowler a good look at the ball motion of the hammer jigsaw. Hammer Jigsaw Corner Video Review

I will note; I am aware of the camera problem and have ordered a new HD camera and I will redo a lot of my videos in video responds. This video on the jigsaw corner and was bowled on a 40 foot house pattern and a wood bowling lane surface with 22 foot of guardian. Storm Reign Video Review

This was the first video I did of the Storm Bowling Ball Reign. This was bowled on a 40 foot house pattern and a wood lane surface with guardian coating on the first 22 foot. The bowling ball layout I used was a dual angle drilling for later and fast response to friction. It was the 50x4x50 layout. I will note I am a little new at the dual angle drilling's, but it is said that it is suppose to be the most accurate method of laying out a bowling ball. I have a high track my specs are 5 ½ over and 3/4 inch up the last time I checked. The reign seems to work better on a drier back end or a little shorter pattern than what I was bowling on. I would say a 38 foot pattern would have been better for this bowling ball. I wanted out of this ball was a go to ball after the shot broke down to much for my earlier rolling ball or the 3rd game when I started to leave the flat 10 or flat 7, I was hoping that I could just change balls and the higher RG and Medium differential would get down the lane enough so I could still play the same line and retain energy to kick out the flat hits, or use on a shorter pattern. Well again I think this balls sweet spot is about 38 foot with a drier backend. In the video there are 5 shots with only 2 angles, I am still working of the quality of them. Bowling Ball Video Review

Here is a video I did on the ebonite bowling ball magic touch. It was bowled on wood lanes and a 40 foot house lane condition. The bowling ball drilling was a pin under the ring finger and the mass bias a 2 inches to the right of my thumb hole. This is for a slow and smooth response reaction. I did not like how this video turned out, I may have to do it again. Well anyway there are 4 shots at 2 different views, 2 of the shots are in slow motion. I missed my target in both views one inside and one outside my target. The one thing I noticed with this video, is in the slow motion views you can really tell where the ball starts in the oil at the arrows and then how far out and down the lane it goes to the break point at 40 foot. I mean the ball the angle will be about 13 at the arrows and then skid and transition to hook at about 8 or 9 at the break point. Here is a couple video’s I did on the ebonite bowling ball playmaker. These video’s were in response to the bad quality of the first one I did on synthetic lanes. The bottom line is I need a better camera. This is all the clearer I can them for now. I felt the top video turned out better then the bottom one did, but they are both just remakes of the first, but with some changes in screen shots angles and zooming. The lane surface was Brunswick pro-anvilane, the lane condition was a house shot, the layout was dual angle drilling for later and faster response to friction. I like this bowling ball it does rollout though, but it does it later down lane. The ball carries extremely well for me and hits hard. Well that is my opinion, but I like ebonite bowling balls, I always have. The video’s and product description are below. I feel this is a good ball and a good price.

Well this video was on a fresh, typical house pattern, the bowling ball layout was a early rolling layout or a slow and earlier responds to friction layout, on the Columbia drill sheet it is drilling no #2 with the mass bias at 2 inches from the thumb hole and the pin under my ring finger and 5 inches from my pap, I did not need a balance hole. The bowling ball surface was the 2000 abralon finish. There are five shots three at the same angle and one at a different angle and redone in slow motion. Like I said before, I like the solid hit of this bowling ball, but it is a little afraid of oil and not as smooth as I thought it would be. It worked well playing down the oil or if I stay out side the oil line and swing it to the dry, then it seems to come back very strong. It would be a good ball for a down and in bowler on a walled house shot or a ball that you use after the shot breaks open. The ball seems like it needs dry boards somewhere. Raw Hammer Burn Video Response

This was a video I did on the raw hammer burn in response to the first one. The quality was so bad on it that I had to redo it. I know ill not get the greatest quality until I get a better camera, but this one will have to do for now. On the video there are 3 shot done two times each, all are done as the original speed then I do them in slow motion. I did like the raw hammer burns hit and reaction on the lanes. It is highly responsive to the dry backend, but did not seem to jerk to much, it seems to read the pattern well is what I am try to say. This was on a house pattern and is a label weighted bowling ball drill layout. Which is good for the average one or two time a week house bowler. This is my opinion and experience, as most know not all bowling centers are the same so you may get a different reaction. In conclusion, I liked the raw hammer burn a good medium priced ball with at high performance reaction. There are links below so you can get more information along with the product description.

This was a video I did of the raw hammer burn, it was bowled on a wood lane surface with guardian on the first 22 foot. Before I write anymore I will note, I am still not happy with the quality of these last few video's, I tried doing some changes in editing, but it got worse, I am still working on it. Well the details this is the same ball as was on the original, which was on wood lanes with guardian. It was on a typical house pattern. There are 3 different views and 2 in slow motion, I think that it is cool and you can see the ball motion better. Yes, I know some say all the videos look the same, But they really they are not it is just hard for me to show you the differences. This ball goes long and hooks in, then sets up, it does not work well without dry boards somewhere, although it is a very good medium priced pearlized bowling ball and works very well on the right lane conditions. Now the video again I tried to show a different angle, so you could get a better look at the motion, there again I do not like the quality of this video I am not sure what happen. Ebonite Playmaker Video Review

This was a video I did of the ebonite playmaker. It was done on wood bowling lanes with a guardian coating on the first 22ft. It was on a typical house pattern with a 42 ft distance. There are 5 shots one of which is in slow motion. The video shows the ball in 2 different views, I did not get the drilling layout on this video, so I thought I would tell you it was a pin above 4.5 from pin to axis, the cg drilling angle was 45 degrees, I did have to put a balance hole 4.5 inches from my center of grip. This is a late responds type drilling. I must note, I had trouble at first getting the ball to hook on the fresh conditions, but after the lanes opened up I scored very well. I also must add all these bowling balls are mine or none are donated to me from bowling ball companies. In addition, do tend to show mainly strikes and no I don't roll a strike every time. I am still working on the quality of the videos, but I am limited. Well the ebonite playmaker looks like a good medium priced pearlized bowling ball, the video and description are below.

Hammer Black Widow Sting Video Review

This was a video I did for the hammer bowling ball black widow sting. There are five shots at the same angle and one of which is in slow motion. I am learning my video program better and trying to work on the quality. Well the video shows the bowling ball and the drilling layout used. In addition, the lane surface is wood with 22 ft of guardian. The oil pattern is a 41 foot house shot. We used the out of box finish with this ball and had a pretty good reaction. The ball went fairly long hooked or recovered well. In addition, we did get it to set up or hold pocket. The ball seems like it would be a good compliment to the Hammer Jigsaw. Brunswick Wild Ride Video Review

I did this video on the Brunswick Wild Ride Bowling Ball. This video has five shots at two different angles. In addition, this was bowled on wood lanes and a 41-foot house pattern, the reaction I got with this ball was in-between the twisted fury solid and the twisted fury destruction. The bowling ball layout was a later response drilling and the surface was with the neo-tech polish. This was a video I did for the Brunswick Siege. It was bowled on Brunswick pro-anvilane synthetic bowling lane surface and a typical house pattern. The video shows a few shots at the same angle and one at the end is in slow motion. This is to show the bowling ball motion on synthetic bowling lanes. I really had a good reaction that day. This ball is very angular for me and even though I have it drilled pin below and a slower response type layout, it still has a more long and strong type reaction.
