Announcing ABS/BCI 2011, Bonsai in the Bluegrass

Welcome.

We are pleased to announce that the American Bonsai Society (ABS) and Bonsai Clubs International (BCI) will be holding a joint Bonsai Convention and Learning Seminar in Louisville, KY (U.S.A.). The Greater Louisville Bonsai Society has been working with both organizations to bring this wonderful seminar to the Bluegrass State.

Titled "Bonsai in the Bluegrass", this 4-day Learning Seminar will be held June 16-19, 2011 in Louisville. We have scheduled International Bonsai artists from Europe, Asia, Mexico, and the United States. There will be a large number of bonsai vendors on hand to provide a variety of trees, pots, tools, and various other supplies. Also, part of the program includes a terrific bonsai display of well styled trees from across the United States.

Home to the Kentucky Derby, Louisville has quite a bit to offer including: Churchill Downs, Kentucky Derby Museum, Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory, Frazier International History Museum, Muhammad Ali Center, and much more.

With an International Airport located just south of downtown, Louisville is an easy travel destination. Home of UPS Air Cargo hub, you can rest assured that shipping to and from the event will be an easy and painless experience.

Plan now to attend! There will be plenty to see and do at this wonderful event. We hope to see you there!

Full registration ($330) for the event includes 4 sessions/workshops, access to all the demonstrations and lectures, meals, access to the exhibit, and endors area for all 4 days.

Saturday-only registration ($165) includes 2 sessions/workshops, lunch and dinner, access to the exhibit and vendors area.

Exhibit and vendor areas will be open to walk-in guests for $10 per person, per day (Friday and Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-12pm).
