General Instructions:

(i) All questions are compulsory.

(ii) This question paper consists of four Section A, B, C and D. Section A contains 8 questions of one marks each, Section B is of 10 questions of two marks each, Sections C is of 9 questions of three marks each and Sections D is of 3 questions of five marks each.

(iii) There is no overall choice. However, an internal choice has been provided in one question of 2 marks, one question of 3 marks and all the three questions of 5 marks weightage. A student has to attempt only one of the alternatives in such questions.

(iv) Wherever necessary, the diagrams drawn should be neat and properly labeled.

Application are invited from sligible graduates for admission to the following non-residential course.

Diploma in Yoga Science (D.Y.Sc.) for graduates (One year duration)

Eligibility: A Graduate from a recognized University with minimum 40% marks in aggregate. 5% weighatage will be given to those possessing PG Degree in any subject.

Age Limit: Below 30 years as on 01-08-2010 (10 years age relaxation for in-service candidates, who joins the course on deputation through proper channel).

No. of Seats: 115 (GM-58, OBC-31, SC-17 & ST-9). In addition in this 2 seats are reserved for students from Andaman & Nicobar Islands. 2 for North-East States and 1 for Foreign students.

Selection: Will be on merit-cum-reservation on qualifying degree.

Scholarship:  Rs. 8,000/- p.m. to 2 students each from Andaman & Nicobar Island and North-East States.

The Application of those candidates shall be forwarded by the concerned Health/Ayush Deptt. of he States/ UT. However, the candidate may send an advance copy of their application to MDNIY.

Hostel: The Institute will provide hostel facility for 25 meritorious students (State other then Delhi and NCR) on some candidates. The boarding and lodging charges will be Rs. 2500/- per month.
