July 2011 Marine Deck Officers Licensure Examination results released in three (3) working days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 934 out of 1,929 examinees passed the written phase of the Marine Deck Officers Licensure Examination for the various ranks given by the Board for Marine Deck Officers in Manila this July 2011. A total of 96 examinees are exempted from taking the practical examinations as they opted to submit a Certificate of Training and Certificate of Assessment in the Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork (SSBT).

The members of the Board for Marine Deck Officers who gave the licensure examinations are Capt. Jaime D. Aquino, Chairman; Capt. Mike L. Castro, Capt. Ireneo U. Delos Santos, Capt. Romeo C. Abuyuan and Capt. Marsolito A. Cruz, Members.

The results were released after three (3) working days from the last day of examinations.

The guidelines for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Cards are as follows:

Registration for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Cards will start on Monday, July 25, 2011 until August 19, 2011. They will take their oath before the Board on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
For the purpose of attending the Mass Oathtaking on August 31, 2011, the deadline for submission of Certificates of Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork with Practical Assessment will be on Tuesday, August 2, 2011.

July 2011 Forester Licensure Examination results released in two (2) days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 163 out of 374 passed the Forester Licensure Examination given by the Board for Foresters in the cities of Manila and Davao this July 2011.

The members of the Board for Foresters are Monina T. Uriarte, Chairman; Jose A. Lorenzo and Gerardo T. Cabreros, Members.

The results were released in two (2) days after the last day of examination.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 but not later than July 22, 2011 at the Registration Division Unit B, Ground Floor PRC Main Building. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces 1” x 1” and 2” x 2” pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2011-2014. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The mass oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Professional Oath will be held before the Board in Manila on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Centennial Hall, Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Roxas Blvd. Manila and in Davao City on September 2, 2011.

Tickets for the oathtaking will be available from July 20, 2011 until August 16, 2011.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 781 out of 1,388 passed the various grades of the written phase of the MARINE ENGINEER OFFICERS LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS given by the Board for Marine Engineer Officers in Manila this May 2011 .

The members of the Board for Marine Engineer Officers are Engr. Miguel O. Marasigan, Officer-in-Charge; Engr. Victoriano A. Alojado, Engr. Ferdinand R. Pascua and Engr. Eldefonso G. Uba , Members.

Certificate of Competency and Certificate of Endorsement shall be distributed during the oathtaking ceremony to the Chief Engineers and Second Engineers who successfully passed the board examinations and completed the required STCW 95 compulsory training and sea service. The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announces that 5,221 elementary teachers out of 33,023 examinees (15.81%), 35 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 339 examinees (10.32%) and 7,690 secondary teachers out of 29,267 examinees (26.28%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given last April 3, 2011 in 14 testing centers all over the Philippines and Hong Kong .

The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Faith M. Bachiller, Chairman; Dr. Reynaldo T. Peña and Dr. Jesus L. Nieves , Members.

Requirements for Manual Procedure

Duly accomplished form

In case of LOST professional ID card which is still current, the applicant shall submit a notarized affidavit of Loss
In case of DESTROYED professional ID card, the applicant shall surrender the destroyed card.

NOTE: Representatives filing the application and claiming the professional ID in behalf of the professional must present Special Power of Attorney and valid identification of the professional and the representative. PRC-registered professional acting as representatives may transact with PRC upon presentation of Authorization Letter and his/her professional ID.

NOTICE: The online renewal facility is currently available to maritime professionals only. Since this is the first time the facility is being implemented, it has been decided to make it available initially to a select group of professionals to determine its reliability, stability and performance. As soon as this becomes stable then the same will be made available to the rest of the professions for which announcements will be made accordingly.

Are you a registered MyPRC user? if yes Log in Now, else click here for instructions on Online Services and key in your personal information. Once registered and logged in, the PRC system will recognize who you are and automatically fill in the relevant data in your profile to the service form so that you do not have to key in the same information multiple times.
Application
After Logging in, you will be asked how many copies of this certification you want.
Confirmation
A confirmation message will be shown, this includes all the order details including fees and next steps. At this point you can go back and change the number of copies or cancel your request.
Payment
Based on the type of payment option chosen, users pay accordingly. Online payment users will get the the temporary OR by printing out the payment confirmation page.
Pick Up or Delivery
After the payment is confirmed, the pickup/delivery date will be announced in the transaction section of MyPRC. Pick Up details like ID requirements and the printout of the payment confirmation will be needed.

Application for Fast ID

Procedures:

The professional presents duly accomplished form at the designated counter. The registration officer verifies the picture against the PERRC, assesses the prescribed fees.
Professional pays the prescribed renewal fees plus Fast ID fee to the Cashier.
Professional proceed to the photo capture station at the ground floor.
Professional returns the application form to the Registration Division and receives claim slip.
Professional presents claim slip at the designated counter to claim ID.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Applicant for the Fast ID renewal should come personally to PRC.
