A regular investor will be familiar with all the investment products whether it is stocks, market funds, day trading, short investments or long term investments. For such an individual, money market news is highly important and every hour transports him/her to the pages of a news portal displaying relevant information on the live stock market, money market funds, and other details. He knows that the stock market index, encompassing nifty and sensex can go up or show a downward trend any time during the trading hours. Not all investors are serious about their trading activities. They hardly give importance to money market news and the result is that they face losses at a stretch.

To know which particular sector is doing well and is expected to maintain the growth trend over the next few days or few months or which money market funds are potential, you can visit a news portal. The A-Z of money market news is covered in the financial/business section of a news portal. There are also news portals that are part of a big news group that are wholly dedicated towards broadcasting complete business news at the national and international level. Visiting such a portal frequently will certainly keep you at the competitive edge. You then need not search for the right platform every time. You can thus save your time and efforts by directly logging in to your favorite news portal even while you are at your workplace or while you are engaged in a hectic schedule.

Diversification is the buzzword for many an investor who nurture big dreams of making big money. They gain with experience and become experts, thus becoming rich in no time. You can be a part of this genre provided you show interest in getting updated with the latest money market news all the time. You will then know which stocks you should buy, which money market funds you should invest in, whether you should go for currency futures trading, whether you should invest for both the long term and short term and related paraphernalia.

And watching money market news regularly will also help you cope up with the market volatility at ease. Once you know how to choose lucrative stocks in a volatile market, trading becomes an easy affair for you. Even if you are a beginner, you can gain and make a mark in no time!

By: Oli Osorhan

Obviously the quickest way to net a profit in the stock market comes through volatile day trading. Many traders turn to using a program to guide their investments because the best of the best are remarkably accurate and with all of the analytical work done for you, you don’t have to have time for or do anything beyond investing in the recommended picks. This technology is based on the same programs used by professional traders every day and only recently has it become available on a consumer based level.

There are a number of programs available today, however, so here is how to pick out a super stock picker for making reliable but big earnings in this market.

First, make sure that the picker which you go with comes with a full money back offer. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the picker you’ll want to know that you can easily get your money back no questions asked, and luckily all of the reputable publishers behind the best programs back them up with this guarantee. This is a major help for separating a super stock picker and pickers from the programs only designed to capitalize off of the systems which do work.

Next, I thoroughly recommend that you limit your search to a picker which focuses entirely on penny stocks. Penny stocks and these pickers are meant for each other considering penny stocks offer some of the best action in this market, the trick is identifying them and picking them out so that you can invest accordingly which is why a super stock picker which is designed to target penny stocks specifically can be so invaluable.

No doubt the 10 principles listed below are the best guide you may have to effectively manage your personal finances and achieve financial freedom. These principles are not difficult and anyone can carry out only required to act in this regard. Remember that knowledge without action does not lead to anything! Act by the 10 principles for managing your personal finances and Achieve Your Financial Freedom! I’ll assure you will have good results.

Here are the 10 principles:

1. Understand that you are the most important business you have. Take time to think about it and be truly convinced that you are the most important company you have!

2. Generate Positive Cash Flow. Be methodical about it and do not spend more than you earn.

3. Learn to Establish a Budget. Be aware of your income and expenses and learn to take advantage of a good personal budget (or family budget)

4. Manage your debts. Let’s face it, if you don not organize and control your debts, nobody else will do it for you.

5. Manage the Contingencies. We all have contingency in life, is a very good activity to have a savings fund for any eventuality that might present.

6. Learn to Invest. That is, in fact, what it will take you to get your financial freedom. Become an investor mentality (visiting this blog means you are on the right track)

7. Goals and Objectives plan. With proper planning about where you want to go and reach you’ll have more probabilities to get there. Give it a good time to plan your goals and objectives.

8. Get your financial education. If you are not financially educated can not understand the world of money and personal finance. Study the subject!

9. Protect your assets. Watch your assets…they are yours! Protect them from any adversity that may occur.

10. Seize the Power of Money Value on Time. We’ll play this in a separate post, but I suggest you investigate and explore it.

You see, each of these principles has a significant importance on your personal finances and finding your financial freedom.

By: Ryan Moeller

Some investors talk about what is hot, where is hot and what excites them. Unfortunately, they may be walking into a trap. Hot areas and strategies often have too much competition and it is way too late. What investors should focus on is often not too exciting. Emotions are not invoked, which is a good thing but the numbers just make sense which is the only thing that matters. All investors should focus on the following 4 things.

Mitigate Risk – It’s not exciting, but investors must do their due diligence, eliminate and minimize every risk they can to ensure success. Quick high risk investments almost always are out performed by lower risk longer term strategies. Investing is not a sprint, mitigate risk and great things will happen.

Maximize Return without increasing Risk – This is an important concept. A huge expected return does not warrant comfort with a huge risk. Risk has to first be mitigated, then maximize return without increasing risk. If you can increase return and decrease risk than double win!

Cash Flow First – Many investors get excited about the big pay checks of flips. The most successful long term investors however take care of Cash Flow First. Take care of your cash flow first and the big checks will come.

Duplicate Long Term – Find a strategy that works, improve and further mitigate risk, maximize return without increasing risk, then duplicate over and over. Focus on a long term strategy not a get rich quick emotional strategy.

Not exciting but business should be done based on numbers and informed decisions, not excitement and emotions. Focus on these 4 items and you will create long term cash flow, wealth and achieve success. Refer to http://www.realreturnrealestate.com for more tips, articles and guides for all the resources.

Investment Property: How to Increase Value

Author: Jay Redding

The whole point of buying investment real estate is to sell it or rent it out, eventually making much more money than you paid for it. The real trick is to raise the value of the house without paying too much and thus eliminating your profit margin, or spending so much effort and time that you lose other opportunities to make money. What follows are some quick, cost-effective ways to raise property values.
Begin with the most obvious: make the house look more pleasant, new, and sturdy from the outside. A new coat of paint can do wonders. Give the house some curb appeal by brightening it up with a few flowering plants, either potted on the porch or neatly replanted in the yard.
Now let’s discuss decorating the inside. Notice how many homes up for sale look unlived-in, despite having some (obviously unused) furniture and fixtures in them? This is not a flaw in the decoration; it is deliberate. If a house looks like it is being or has just been used by an actual resident, a buyer might feel like an intruder, particularly if the house is a foreclosure or REO property. Light colors and a pleasant, but rather generic atmosphere are your guidelines.
Furthermore, make sure to conduct important repairs. Clogged plumbing and malfunctioning ventilation can keep the value of a house low. While you are at it, you might even make some additions: think of them as “bonuses” to attract customers. Try to improve the house’s insulation, for instance. Nowadays, people often want to conserve energy on heating and cooling their residences, both for financial and environmentalist reasons. Make your property stand out from the rest by marketing it as “green” real estate.
Furthermore, do research about future development projects in the area. After all, if somebody wants to live in that house long-term, the future of the area is of concern to them. If you find out about new schools, shopping centers, etc. that will soon be constructed nearby, you can more easily convince buyers that they are investing wisely.
Try these tips in order to make great returns on your investment!

Whether we have a debt to pay, we want a new car, a home or a better education for our children, saving is fundamental in our lives and is a priority to learn how to do it better.

Here are a few tips and hints on the subject, there are many others, of course, and we will look them at future posts (and if there is something specific you want just let us know in the “comments” after this post):

1. Think twice in the “affordable luxury” you want to give to yourself. While luxuries in life could be a good thing, because we deserve them at least occasionally! Let us be aware that is not always that we need them, and on the other hand, if today we adjust and cut some tastes and affordable luxuries, handling personal finances properly, tomorrow we shall get double, or more, luxuries for ourselves, that’s for sure.

Ask yourself if what you are about to buy is something you really need or is simply a thing you just felt to buy, and if you need it, is it really worth it?

It is important, as this should be a form of savings, that the amount you are leaving when you don’t buy a “luxury”, it actually gets saved. You won’t save anything if you save it and then spend it in something else. Put the amount you saved in a piggy, in an envelope under the mattress in your savings account, in your investment fund, etc … but save it!

2. Check your basic services bills. You may be spending more than you should in any basic service, whether electricity, water, etc. This does not mean we should live with candles and shower once a year just to celebrate our birthday! But perhaps the use we are giving to the water in our house is uncontrolled, or perhaps we leave lights or appliances on when should not. Let us be aware of this and make our family involved as well (making sure that this does not become a source of quarrels and dislikes!) Do not forget to set aside the amount actually saved to your savings account.

3. Find discounts and better alternatives. It is time for a little research and analyze whether the place where we make our purchases has good prices or maybe there is another place with better pricing alternatives. On the other hand, if you find the chance of a discount, make a good use of it! Whether using coupons, promotions, etc.. Get the difference saved and…yes that’s correct!…put it in your savings account.

May 30th 2010
Last week looked and felt like a pivotal week for both stocks and commodities. The past two weeks have had investors and traders in a panic as they try to find safe investments for their money. After watching and reviewing the panic selling in the market it looks as though the majority decided to sell everything and be in cash for the time being. This is bullish for the stock market.

I will admit it has been tougher to trade recently because of increased risk levels due to the large 2-4% sell offs and rallies happening within minutes… While this is amazing for disciplined and experienced traders who are able to pull the trigger getting in and out with quick profit in the matter of minutes, this same price action can blow up trading accounts of those who do not have a trading strategy, money management and the discipline to take profits and cut losses very quickly. The speed of the rallies and sell offs is the matter of being up or down thousand of dollars in the matter of 5-10 minutes… That is one of the reasons I have stepped back from being aggressive and into more of an observation mode playing with small amounts of money and focusing on the larger trends at.

My #1 goal is to make subscribers money with the least amount of risk and watching the market swing 2-4% in minutes makes it extremely difficult to get everyone in and out positions with a profit before the market changes directions. As much as I love trading, some times the best position is to have small ones or be in cash.

GLD – Gold ETF Trading

Here is my weekly updated chart of gold as it works its way through the correction from last year. The daily chart looks to be forming a larger Cup & Handle pattern which is extremely bullish. If this pattern does a text book move then we could see GLD reach $140 and spot gold would reach the $1400 area.

That being said this pattern still has to complete the handle portion which could easily last another 4 weeks, so I am not in a panic to add more to our position.

SLV – Silver ETF Trading

Silver is in much of the same situation. Because of the added volatility in silver the charts do not look quite the same but they are similar in many ways… Silver is used a lot for industrial purposes and because the economy which is very weak still (though it is getting better) we are not seeing silver demand rise much. If silver can break this large resistance level then we could see silver surge to $25 (25%) this year.

USO – Oil Fund Trading

USO (Oil) has held up really well in the past 12 months but the recent sell off has seriously damaged the bullish outlook I had not long ago. While it is oversold and looks to have started a bounce last week the chart is pointing to lower prices over the longer term… This USO fund does have contago which makes this fund under perform the actual price of oil. The current prices of oil are still trading at a key support level and could post nice bounce if not trigger a new rally. The problem with following some ETF’s which have contago is that you do not see the real price action of the commodity. But that is were I come in as I track the underlying commodity and relate it to ETFs for you.

SPY – SP500 ETF Trading

The Stock Market (SP500) sure has been a roller coaster. The chart below shows you what happened in January for the last correction and where we stand currently in comparison. If a setup is obvious in the financial market there is a very high chance it will not work out as planned and by knowing this it allows us to be cautious and take profits at key short term support and resistance levels.

Trend Trading Conclusion:

In short, I feel gold and silver will drift around to digest the recent move up and to form the handle portion. Oil looks to have put in a short term bottom and if we get a small pullback in the coming days to test the intraday chart breakout level and touch the support trend line we could look to take a position.

We tend to see the most price appreciation during the final stages of a trend and we could have seen that on the US Dollar over the past 6 weeks. It looks as though the dollar could have put in a double top. If the dollar rolls over it would help boost precious metals, oil and stocks… But we will not know it’s a top until there is a clear trend reversal which in any case will be weeks before that type of price action can unfold.

As for the SP500, we have seen the same level of selling as we did in Feb-March 2009. High volume panic selling has ruled the market since late April. There are equal arguments for saying the market has bottomed with all the panic selling and that we should start another large rally lasting 8-12 months or one could argue this is capitulation volume signaling massive distribution of shares and now every rally/bounce will be sold… Personally I am torn between the two… but lean more towards higher prices with a multi month grind up at slow rate…

We have seen in recent news, and not so recent, like thousands of people were affected by financial institutions scams illegal capture the people’s money to invest in financial markets creating wonderful investment returns.

It is important that as people who want to be investors, we have a consistent and logical thinking. An investor is not investing their money without not doing his homework.

Do you think that by putting your money in a mutual fund or a super mega international company with branches in every planet in the Solar System and investment returns of 100 000% you are an investor?

Discuss your options, investigate companies and their directors, Put on legal documents, do not buy air! … Do your homework! Please note that while more research and studies their investments, investors will be better. As people that wants to become investors, we are interested in learning more than to have someone doing it for us. Having money in a mutual fund doesn’t make us an investor, learn how the fund works is what builds and increases our intelligence as investors. Therefore not be swayed by people who promise them manage their money like never before, analyze the issue for yourself, learn! This does not mean you’re released to do everything alone. It means take advantage of each investment by learning everything you can, if you have a broker who handles your account, ask them to explain his investment strategy, discuss why he made a decision, get him out the juice!

What do you think about it? This is a forum for analysis … let’s analyze!

It is undeniable that today there is a new market, new consumer and circumstances affect our relationship with him. From these changes have developed new marketing trends and ideas that have resulted in multiple perspectives on how to do marketing in a new era.

We begin our journey to the always exciting world of marketing and business with this post which is an introductory review to some of the new marketing trends today are being commented on the media.

Let’s start with the side marketing, which aims to change traditional marketing processes to introduce more creative processes and developments. This approach to marketing aims, beyond making things better, do them differently, using creative and innovative ideas that will give us equally creative and innovative results.

Continue with the emotional marketing, which focuses, as it mentions, emotions, seeking to attract customers from a form of marketing designed to cause an effect on the emotions of our prospects. It can be said that while other marketing approaches seek position in the mind, seeking emotional marketing positioning in the heart.

We also have the viral marketing, which seeks to move like a computer virus, through a network. In the case of viral marketing network is a social network through which our brand is word of mouth will move across the network (ideally) making thus increasing brand awareness in our target market segment.

Then we have the guerrilla marketing, which is a style of marketing where you want to achieve compliance objectives through unconventional methods, where to invest more than money, energy, passion and lots of creativity.

We now turn to relationship marketing, which, as its name suggests, seeks closer relations with customers. This style of marketing mix aspects of public relations and marketing, and is characterized by individual, based on each client is unique and this is how you must feel, and to use a more direct communication style.

Closely related to the previous marketing have one by one marketing, which seeks to create relationships with individual customers for the company, delivering value (services / products) to suit each of them.

On the other hand we find the integrated marketing, which is based on thinking, creating, producing and implementing marketing strategies multidisciplinary and multi-channel, taking into account new technologies. For the integral marketing, every market, every business, every product, have a particular situation should be studied in the same way depending on the needs and objectives of each situation.

Finally we come to neuromarketing, a new marketing approach that includes technical and thoughts from various disciplines such as neuroscience, systems thinking, neurolinguistic programming, multiple intelligences, mental models, language and oncology management and marketing in general. Seeks to understand the human being from her brain processes and mental models and representations of the outside world, for from this, better meet on an ongoing and sustainable, the exchange ratio values of our prospects and customers.

By: douglas kanyi(daggy86)

Anyone looking to start buying or selling stocks, bonds and mutual funds through professionals must have a brokerage account. Not all brokerage accounts are the same. A standard retail brokerage account differs from others such as discount brokerage accounts in trading and security processing.

Some of the financial providers specialize in provision of brokerage accounts for one plan only. This means you have to compare brokerage accounts before making your decision. Comparing such accounts is done on the basis of fund offerings, fees, investment options and technological resources.

What you need

Before you start comparing the services offered by different brokers you should consider the;

Funding

Expected market activity

Initial investment

Instructions

Understand various terms used in relation to brokerage accounts. For instance a broker dealer firm is the one that takes orders from the clients to buy and sell investments for them. Discount brokers take orders from the clients without providing them any advice regarding their investment choice. Ordinary brokers will compile your personal data and then recommend a specific investment option.

Understand different types of accounts on offer. The cash account which is the most basic form of brokerage account allows you to deposit cash into the account for the sole purpose of buying investments. In case you don’t use the cash for investment it will earn money market interest rates. The margin account allows the client to borrow against the balance in the account to buy investments. Discretionary brokerage accounts allow the broker to invest your money at his or her own discretion. This happens without providing any notice to the client.

Examine your financial needs. This means whether you want to buy investments on a long-term or short-term basis. In case of short term investments, the discretionary account can be superior compared to the other accounts because it will allow your advisor to secure investments instantly hence gaining you maximum benefits in a short while.

Examine you current skills and experience with regard to investing in the stock market. For those who are experienced and do not need the invested amount to fund daily expenses discount brokerage accounts are better compared to traditional one since they charge minimal fees. For those who are less experienced or those who lack the needed time for research, a traditional brokerage account is a better choice.

Compare similar brokerage accounts offered by different brokers. For this you will be checking the minimum opening investment. This usually varies from $500 to $1,000. You will also be considering the commissions charged by each broker. Finally you should check which broker’s account allows you to invest in mutual funds and which ones don’t.

If you think a discretionary brokerage account is the best choice for your investment needs, you should only go for well established money managers who have built considerable trust. Remember, this account will cost you more due to the advantage it gives you. Once you have decided to use the services of a broker its good to be on the lookout for warning signs that the brokerage firm could be facing problems. This will protect you from any chance of incurring losses.
