Bing Visual search don't run when using IE8

Found a new post of Bing search engine about Visual search on Delicious.com , i'm trying to searching on Flock browser it's seem good .I close the Flock browser and open Internet Explorer 8 for another search but Bing visual search don't running when i search with IE8 browser.

(My computer already installed Silverlight ).

I don't know how it was ,like a funny thing Bing hate IE ! ( my computer/ WindowsXP ).

Nearly three years ago, a video demo of a new desktop user interface, the BumpTop, captivated YouTube viewers. A year later the creator, Anand Agarawala, was called to the august TED conference to present. Now the BumpTop software is here, ready for you and your Windows PC. I gave it a spin.

It's certainly very cool. In many ways it is a better desktop than the one that comes with Windows (even Windows 7) or OS X. But as cool as it is, it feels like a toy. That's because the locus of modern personal computing is not the desktop. People live in apps and in the browser.

BumpTop makes the desktop better, but so what? It won't make you more productive in your e-mail app, and it currently doesn't touch the Web browsing experience. BumpTop doesn't go deep enough into Windows to replace the way we work with information. Instead, it adds yet another interface to use in addition to the Windows utilities (like the file manager), your apps, and your Web browser.

Meantime, BumpTop is worth a try. It's a lot of fun.

BumpTop replaces your desktop with a visual environment unlike any you've used. It's a bit like a futuristic gesture-based interface, but it's tied to your mouse. Were it capable of simultaneous Web browsing, its utility would be much more apparent.

BumpTop makes the items on your computer's desktop more like their real-world counterparts. Icons and folders are assigned a virtual weight based on the amount of memory they take up and their importance to you. You can move them by click-and-drag, or fling them across the BumpTop space. The program determines their importance based on how often you use them, but you can also alter that by hand. In a way, BumpTop takes the "Cover Flow" concept to the next level. Stack items to keep them organized, flip through them as you would a photo album, sprawl them across the desktop arbitrarily, or order them in staid grids. Circular wheel pie menus make options a mouse flick away, and the 3D "walls" make for fast posting to Facebook, e-mailing, and Twittering.

To alter a group of items, you lasso them--but you probably haven't used a lasso like this before. Unlike the square-edged standard Windows lasso, this one lets you select objects by drawing circles around them. Icons can be more scattered without it slowing your work flow because factors like angle, size changing, proximity, and icon flipping all impact on how you interact with your desktop. There's a built-in photo viewer, and although it doesn't allow for user interactions yet, the Safari and Chrome browsing engine WebKit is baked in, too.

If WebKit moves toward integrating browsing with your desktop in a customizable manner, and more gesture-based hardware support becomes commonplace, it could push how we use our computers into a whole new dimension.

A single sign-on widget called Jadoos

The Single-sign-on idea makes sense: giving users a way to log in to all the sites they use without having to have a different set of IDs and passwords for each. Since many Web users are busy and easily distracted by everything going on in our lives, only having to remember a single ID and password would be immensely valuable.

A new company called Jadoos presented ( at Demo 09 ) its approach to single sign-on, albeit one that is scaled down to apply to a discrete set of Web sites. But that approach, using a sort of "remote control" to handle log-ins for a series of sites strikes me as valuable, especially for heavy social network users.

Jadoos' service--which is currently in a closed beta period--is a widget that floats above the desktop on users' computers. It looks suspiciously like an iPhone, but gives users a simple and even elegant way to log in to the many sites they use, all with that single sign-on. It works, as I surmised from the company's demo, by having users add any sites they want to their account, entering their IDs and passwords, and then allowing those users to simply click on the site's icon on the widget and choose to log in.

The widget also provides access to a range of instant message clients, and allows users to manage their contact lists without having to run another piece of software, be it something like Trillian or IM services' own clients. As an adjunct to easy sign-on to various sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and so forth, it's a nice combination and a spare approach to handling the kinds of applications that heavy Internet users keep running in many different windows at all times.

It also offers a search window, and terms entered there run Google searches that then appear in a browser window.

The Jadoos widget adds one more feature, a rating system for Web sites and businesses. This could be valuable, but feels like a little bit of overkill. This, like the ratings system unveiled at Demo 09 by Purewire, will only be useful if a critical mass of people participate.

But what is not overkill is Jadoos' decision to open up its platform to outside developers. That means its widget--designed to look like an iPhone--could begin to also resemble that device in terms of the many kinds of third-party apps that sit on top of it. Again, until the apps are created, there's no way to know how interesting they'll be, but it is a promising idea.

WhatInStartup displays a list of all programs that are loaded automatically when Microsoft Windows starts up. For each application, the following information is displayed: Startup Type (Registry/Startup Folder), Command-Line String, Product Name, File Version, Company Name, Location in the Registry or file system, and more.Features:It allows you to easily disable or delete unwanted programs that run in your Windows startup. You can use it on your currently running instance of Windows, as well as on an external instance of Windows in another drive.WhatInStartup also supports a special "Permanent Disabling" feature – if a program that you previously disabled added itself again to the startup list of Windows, WhatInStartup will automatically detect the change and disable it
again.

System Startup affects the way your PC will boot. In order to gain time and boot faster you need to optimize, sort and manage startup items. On a regular basis, it is recommended to boot with a small number of applications that “eat” all resources and decrease the amount of memory left for the operating system’s components to load, and in this regard there are solutions to optimize the loading process.

You can create some sort of order for the applications to start (leave the ones that require more memory at the end of the list so that OS components would load first), apply delay time between loading applications, or just use the smallest, easiest startup manager you can find and remove or disable unwanted startup entries.

The latter solution is easy to apply but not so effective, because we often need certain applications to start with Windows (antivirus – which takes a big bite out of the system’s memory, firewall, or any other security-related programs) and others to launch with a delay. This kind of programs will make the difference, when it comes to system startup.

The WhatInStartup application was designed to be a small, easy-to-use startup manager that would help the user disable, enable or remove startup entries. From the get go I must mention that the review was made for the initial release (1.00) of the software, so it is still a work in progress.

WhatInStartup is free of charge and requires from Windows 2000 up to Windows 7 operating systems to work. It does not install or add any registry entries to Windows, and all you have to do is extract the files and run the application. It can also be copied to portable drives and run from there. All the modifications that are made will be stored in a configuration file within the root directory.

I can say that I was pleased to notice that WhatInStartup lists all the startup entries instantly, when you first run it (I found other startup managers that were a little slow with the indexing process). The main window will display a list with the available items. Column Settings will let you choose what columns you would like to appear in the main window. Select all of them and you will have a report about every item.

For each entry you can select to view the name, type (Machine or User Run), command line (the process runs with command line parameters, e.g. -hide, -autorun), disabled (status: yes / no), product name. The following five columns provide user information about file version, product description (as mentioned by manufacturer), company, location (and this is very important because you can see the actual registry key location) and product path.

There is much information about the entries, so WhatInStartup also provides an HTML and text report summary for all or each item separately. The first test that I did was using Winamp, which adds an entry to the startup list. WhatInStartup will allow you to create a system tray icon so that any modifications to startup can be indexed. After installing Winamp, with WhatInStartup running in system tray, the entry did not appear in the main list.

After a quick refresh (use the Refresh button) the entry was added to the list. I think that a small adjustment would help a lot – to let the user set up some sort of refresh time for new entries to be indexed. Instant refresh would be even better.

The developer talks about “a special Permanent Disabling feature” (see product page) that is implemented in Permanent Disable Mode, found in the Options tab menu. It refers to the applications that you disabled and which will try to create startup entries again.

The test that I did to prove that this feature works involved disabling Winamp from WhatInStartup. All changes that are made will take effect after system reboot. Although the Winamp Agent entry was still in the list of startup items found by msconfig command (Start>Run>msconfig), the Winamp tray icon did not appear after reboot.

The User Interface offers you the possibility to choose the startup scheme from Advanced Options. This is very useful when you have multiple OSes installed and you want to load other startup list than the one in C:\Windows.

The Good

The application provides a simple but efficient way to enable, disable or remove startup entries in order to optimize system boot time. All information about the items can be summarized in an HTML or text report. WhatInStartup does not require any installation so you can run it from portable drives too. The Permanent Disabling feature and its implementation are something I found only in WhatInStartup.

The Bad

Unlike the msconfig command (Start>Run>msconfig), WhatInStartup will not show startup services too. The User Interface needs a few adjustments to look more attractive, even if you run the application on XP.

The Truth

WhatInStartup is a simple, easy-to-use tool that can help you view information about startup entries, create a summary report, enable, disable, and keep applications disabled, or remove entries.

To gain more time in system boot you can use three general schemes: apply a delay after each component, create boot order, or remove unwanted applications that require a lot of memory from startup. WhatInStartup provides only the last scheme. It would be a plus to find one more.

Steps

First you actually need the tools. Flash in this case. The latest version is Flash CS4. When you look at the price tag you may just forget this idea completely, but bear in mind that you can download a free 30-day trial from Adobe's website (http://www.adobe.com).
- Alternatively you might want to look at getting an older version of Flash (either Flash CS3, CS2, CS, 5, MX, or 2004.) They will be a lot cheaper if you can find them, but Adobe is very proactive about removing all old versions off the shelves the day a new version is released.
When you first open Flash up, the interface can seem a bit intimidating. If you have used Photoshop, Fireworks or any other of Adobe's products the interface will be more familiar. All I can say is to have a play about with the toolbar on the left hand side. Get used to everything it does. The timeline will be the core of your flash content. It is located at the top of the screen below menu.
- The timeline consists of layers. Layers go over the top of each other, also making your content less confusing. You can lock layers to stop accidental editing of others and painful mistakes.
- The timeline also uses frames and keyframes. Keyframes are created with the F6 button and normal frames are created using the F5. Keyframes are used when something changes. Frames keep the same content on the frame.
You need to decide what sort of flash user you will be. Either an animator or programmer/actionscript user. There is a more varies choice than this, but it mainly falls into these two categories.
- Actionscripting will lean towards interactive and game content.
- Animation will lead towards movies or the animation of game sprites and characters or more artwork.

Keep trying. Although your work may seem a bit bad at first, you will see a definite improvement with more practice.

Frame by Frame animation is time consuming and boring for some, but it yields good results.
If you find learning actionscript boring, then stop. It obviously isn't for you.
Animation is useful in games too. Don't just think about the code. You'll need backgrounds, characters/sprites, text for the player etc.

You can cross reference actors, directors, etc. You can create a free account that allows you to post your collection online and you can browse the database from any computer to know whether you have a movie or not. We are getting reports that Microsoft’s PubCenter, a self serve thirty party ad publishers platform through AdCenter, is doing quite well with beta testers. Microsoft began testing PubCenter last summer.

One beta tester we spoke with said PubCenter is paying significantly more than Google AdSense and Yahoo Publisher. All three of these programs let third party publishers add contextual ads next to their content via a self-service format.

Google has dominated this space in the past (and all other contextual advertising) because it offers publishers higher fees for ads.But this might change when Microsoft unveils PubCenter to the greater publisher community, particularly if Microsoft is aggressive in revenue splits to gain market share.

Currently, PubCenter is being tested by a small subset of web publishers. Our tipster says that he receiving from four times more in revenue Microsoft than Google AdSense. And the money isn’t the only advantage PubCenter has over AdSense. The advertisement themselves are are higher quality than Google’s ads, he says, and equally as targeted towards the content. He says that Microsoft seems to be more stringent about letting advertisers into the program, versus what seemed like an advertiser free-for-all though Google’s AdSense. Of course, with a smaller inventory of advertisers, it’s tougher to provide contextual ads for obscure content.

We also heard that Microsoft is allowing publishers to get creative with ads by allowing them to set background images. Google AdSense only allows publishers to change the color of the ads.

Microsoft is allowing test partners to publish Google ads on their site as long as the publisher doesn’t have an exclusivity agreement with Google. Third party ads are a controversial concept, since advertisers expect the click throughs and conversions that they get from search. Google has been sued for fraud because ads placed on parked pages weren’t producing results. But if Microsoft is offering a better program, with nifty, more targeted ads, then publishers and advertisers alike might make the switch (or use both, if possible).

Microsoft recently enlisted digital media executives, including execs from IAC, Wall Street Journal Digital Network, The New York Times Co., Time Inc. and Viacom Inc. to consult on next-generation advertising platform.

Microsoft said this about PubCenter in February:

PubCenter will be built on the existing adCenter Publisher architecture that is currently in beta and will include the convergence of technologies and tools provided by the former Atlas and Rapt solutions, as well as a self-serve offering. The new platform will provide innovative forecasting and order management solutions, advanced analytics tools, and enhanced targeting functionality to enable all digital media publishers to have access to the tools and technology they need to provide valuable and relevant ad content to their advertising partners.

BonzoBox is an interactive web tool that allows people to build their own customized page with links to their favorite websites, for an easy access to them. It is also a search engine that is divided to three: Google search, your own favorite search, and the community choices search.The problem (for me), started right from the registration. I mean, why do I need to sign up? It looks like a search engine, and I believe this is the whole point of this service, so it felt really weird to sign up without having the ability to search for something first. It would have been better to just open this option and allow the users to choose when to sign up. (probably if they want to save the page).The other problem, is that the site refresh itself constantly and there's nothing that you can do about it (not in the setting anyway) - A-n-n-o-y-i-n-g.But I guess what really bothered me the most is the site colors. The navigation, functionality, features, are all great, but the colors are too bright and confusing. I'd go with a darker color instead of this light gray (it will be much easier on the eye):

A new way to get software for free by using Trialpay .

At first you may ask , for those softwares are PRO not for free and must have a license , and “How is this possible?”

Well, for starter it might not really come free. But the thing is here : It’s pretty much up to you. You’re in fact “buying” a license, but instead of your credit card you’ll be using a new concept of “TrialPay“.

The idea is that, to get something for free, let’s say a license for Moyea Flv soft, you’ll have to complete an offer from someone else.

Read another merchant site. If and once you done so, TrialPay is being noticed, and send you your free license. It’ as simple as that.

Read all offers carefully, because some only ask you to register at their site, and this is a free registration. Sometimes all it takes is to fill out a form, and you’re done, offer completed!

And it works. I just registered at some site, filled in a few forms, and now I don’t have to fill forms anymore. ( you just getting RoboForm Pro and this soft does it for you !).

That’s right, I got a free license for RoboForm Pro software for free ! All I had to do is fill in a few forms.

Everything went smoothly, and the fact that big names are associated with TrialPay (authors of WinRAR, RoboForm, WinZIP or ZoneAlarm are using them), and that on their site you can learn that they’re a “rapidly growing online payment company backed by the investors of Skype, Google, and Akamai”, makes it all quite trustworthy.

One big downside to this though, on their site they describe TrialPay as an “online payment company”, and it actually is a pretty accurate description of things. TrialPay is a new method of payment, not a site where you can browse though all their different offers.

This is hard to understand for me, because I think many people would love to have a listing of all the softwares they could actually buy using this new method of paypment, especially when all it takes is to fill a form, yet TrialPay doesn’t offer such listing.

Basically all they say is, go to your usual merchant site, and see if they support TrialPay as payment method.

Hopefully it’ll change someday, for bloggers may reading more , and in the mean time someone compiled a great list of over 130 softwares that you can get using TrialPay.
