Tutorial How to Install (Installation):

1. Download the file first PageEar v1.4

2. Then Extrack at pageear_v14.zip file your folder.

3. Please pageear.js the Edit File (using notepad for instance)

Note: File pageear.js in this configuration all you need. So you are not dizzy seven roving, I include only a few examples from the possibility that you need to edit. See the code edited by the color red.

How do I change the image suit you?

The first image with a size of 100x100 pixels, and save with the name pageear_s.jpg later in the same way, make the image again with the size of 500x500 pixels, and save with the name pageear_b.jpg If you have made a second image above, please re-upload to a server owned by you.

Feedburner - Headline Animator ( V-Roger 2211)

In my previous posting, I shared about: Signing up to feedburner and taking E-mail subscription widget from feedburner. Now, I would like to share about Headline animator which is also from feedburner. What is Headline animator? It is an animated banner that shows five recent feed from a blog or site that are registered to feedburner.

Headline animator can be a good media to promote the blog content. If you want to add headline animator, you can read the simple steps below;

1. I assume that you have signed up in feedburner. If you haven’t sign up to feedburner, click here. But if you have signed up, you can continue reading.

2. Read this posting from number 1 until 6. To make HA, I just continue from step 7. When you are in PUBLICIZE YOUR FEED page, click Headline Animator.

3. Here, you will create a New Headline Animator. Please choose the form of HA, color, theme, font text. After that click Activate.

4. Look at the red circle below. That is the result of your blog headline animator. Click SAVE (2nd picture at the bottom).

5. In order to place HA in our blog, we can transfer it directly into our blog. How can we do that? well, see the picture below;

6. In (+) Add to Myspace, TypePad, ect, choose blogger blog (picture above) or as you see at the picture below, then click NEXT.

7. In Add Headline Animator to Blogger page, click Add To Blogger (red circle).

8. In Add Page Element page, choose the blog you want to add HA (select a blog) and Title of HA (title), then click Add A Widget.

9. After clicking Add A Widget, the HA widget will automatically be added in your blog ( usually in header), see the picture below. from header, you can move it into sidebar or footer.

9. Done and congratulation. Now your blog has Headline Animator.

There is 2 steps to make a Table Of content at the blog :

Step #1

Login to blogger with your ID.
After entering the dashboard page , click Layout.
Then click edit HTML tab.
Click the Download full template link. Save your template.
Please mark the little box beside Expand Widget Templates. Wait for a moment.
Go to your template code, and find the code like this :

Do you ever seen your blog URL? what do you see beside your blog URL? yea.. beside your blog URL address is a blogger icon, see the following sreenshot :

How about the step to do that? this is the steps :

First you must have an image, for example like this:

After that, you must change your image to be icon. For do that, you can use favicon Generator, please check out http://www.favicongenerator.com
Click at the "Browse..." button.
Insert your image which will change into favicon.
Click at "Generate Favicon!" button.
After the process is complete, click at "Click Here to Download your favicon".
Save into your computer.
Next step is you must upload your Favicon to image hosting. For this step, you can read at this post!.
Now I assume you have had the URL address of your favicon. For example, I have a favicon URL address like this :

How To Register in Search Engines

There are many search engines here and recently, the most famous ones are Google, yahoo, and Msn. If we want our blog detected by them, we have to submit our URL blog to them.
Now, have you submitted your blogs to the search engines above? Or you still don’t know how to submit your blogs. Just follow the tutorials below.
Sign up in Google
To register in Google, please visit http://www.google.com/addurl/, and if you are in registering page, you must fill in available form;

URL --> Fill in your URL blog
Comments --> Fill in the related keywords to your blogs.

As soon as your submission to Google, it doesn’t mean that your blog would have an index in Google search engine. It will need about 3 until 4 weeks for new blog to be able to have an index. After 3 or 4 weeks, try to type your URL blog in Google search engine. If your blog still can not be detected, you will have to wait for a couple of week again. If it is not detected yet, you must submit your blog again as the steps above.

In order to register in yahoo, please visit this site https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit. Before registering here, make sure that you have yahoo account. Why you need yahoo account? Because to register here, you need to log in to your yahoo account. If you still don’t have any yahoo e-mail, click here to make one first. And if you have e yahoo account, you just need to log in with your username and password. As soon as you log in, you will see a column. Just fill in the column with your URL blog, then click Add URL and done.
If you want to add your feed address too, you can do it here. Remember, you only need to add atom.xml behind your URL blog in order to get feed address of your blog, example; this blog blog has feed address as follow; http://kolom-tutorial.blogspot.com/atom.xml.
Register in Msn

Placing Google Adsense Under The Posting

Actually, the placement of adsense code under the posting is not only for Google Adsense but also for other Adsense, such as Adbrite, Bidvertiser. We can also place affiliation banners or social bookmarking buttons. But because so many questions about Google Adsense and Google Adsense is so phenomenal that make me inspired to write a post about it.

First, you need to know that we cannot place Google Adsense directly on blogger template because if we place it directly, there will an error message like below;

    Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: The processing instruction target matching "[xX][mM][lL]" is not allowed.

So, before placing Goggle Adsense under the posting, we need to parse it. What is Parse? Parse is a way to change Google Adsense code that we will place on the blogger template. For example, the Google Adsense code is as below:

Horeeeeee. Your GA code has been parsed and ready to place on the template code.
By the way, Can we parse GA code? Because GA TOS says that we are not allowed to change or add or reduce GA code.

To answer that question, you had better ask to Google Adsense management. One thing that you must know that I do not responsible for your account. Kang Rohman himself thinks that it is ok because we do not change any code adsense structures, we only parse it.

To make sure about this problem, some one has ever sent a letter to Google Adsense management. You can read here and GA management says no problem as long as we do not change any code of it. If you are still not sure about it, you can send letter to GA.

Well, it is time to talk about main topic that is placing GA code under the posting. First, I suggest you to use read more system. I explained about Read more here. If your template has already uses read more, you can continue reading the steps below:

   1. Please sign in into blogger with your ID.
   2. Click layout.
   3. Click Edit HTML tab
   4. Click Download Full Template.
   5. Please backup the template first. It is done in order to anticipate if the editing process fails. We still have the backup.
   6. Give a mark on Expand Template Widget , see the picture below:

In my previous posting, Kang Rohman made tutorial about making a column above the posting column in Magazine Template 2. And in this beautiful weekend, I would like to try the other alternative to make a column that is Making Column under Header Column. This column is absolutely very important, especially, for you who like adding ads right under the header.
If we refer to the original design of magazine template 2, we won’t be able to put ads or anything right under the header. Below is the original design of magazine template 2:

And now, we are going to make a new column located right under the header column. Below is the illustration sample of putting ads right under the header column.

Do you feel interested in making a column under the header? Just read and follow the steps below.
1. Login into blogger with your ID.
2. Click Layout
3. Click Edit HTML.
4. Click Download Full Template.
5. Please save the template first. It is aimed at anticipating the risk if we make mistake in editing our template. If we make a mistake, we still have the backup and return it normally.

7. Copy paste the following code right above the code of ]]></b:skin>.

Recently Kang Rohman often gets e-mails which ask me about Alexa Rank or what is Alexa Ranking? Well, after thinking the questions, it seems interesting to talk about it in this blog. How does Alexa.com know the number of traffics or visits in our blog?
As the definition above, the information of visitors or traffics number in our blog is taken from alexa toolbar which has been installed in internet users. If the alexa toolbar is installed in the browser we use, then, alexa.com will identify how many visitors and page view in our website or blog. After the data is collected, then the alexa machine will automatically make ranking in that website or blog.
Alexa rank starts from 1 and the best ranking is of, course one (1), the same as the ranking in school. The boy with ranking one is the most diligent student in the class. The smaller alexa rank a website or blog has, the better alexa ranking a website or blog gets or it means that ranking quality of the website or blog gets better. - Angka2 atau text yang berwarna biru (350px) adalah ukuran tinggi dan lebar tabview.

Seperti biasa saya hanya mengembangkan konsep dasar, untuk itulah mengapa saya sering memposting artikel yang sedikit aneh bahkan beda dari blogger blogger lainnya, karena saya hanya belajar bagaimana menemukan mencari sesuatu yang baru berdasarkan konsep yang sederhana alias konep dasar.
