New Illustration for AARP

New Illustration for AARP magazine. The article discusses ways parents can de-clutter their teens. I had a lot of fun trying to cram as much info into this piece as possible, I don't do a lot of detailed interiors so this was a fun challenge. The great type treatment was done by Mutt Ink. You can read the article here (Bonus spot illustration on page 50).

This assignment had a pretty quick turnaround. 1 day for sketches and 1 day for finals. I’ve grown to love tight deadlines, they force me to keep things simple and to make quick decisions that I would otherwise agonize over. I can only fit so much procrastination in day.

1) I just started reading white noise and the cover is gorgeous.

This lovely London-based magazine is full of interesting quirky stories and gorgeous pictures (my photos really don't do it justice). Hands down my favorite magazine right now.
