Of course you have to be careful not to buy the really bad stuff that even lowered prices couldn’t sell, but usually there’s nothing to worry about that as not all shops got the same attention during Black Friday and some weren’t that trafficked that period. Those are the stores to visit the day after thanksgiving sales. They still have the need to empty the warehouse to make room for new products that will be sold during Christmas sales, so they’ll keep the price low till everything gets sold.

So, don’t curse the day after thanksgiving and think of the sales you could be doing without having to worry about crowded places and angry sales people.

1 – Make in time a list of things you intend to purchase

2 – Find the stores with the best prices for those products as during Black Friday they’ll drop even further thus keeping the lowest price on market

3 – Check each and every of the sites on point 2 a few days before Black Friday as usually sales deals kick in earlier and don’t change till the holiday is over

4 – Order online as much as possible, trying to avoid those interminable clusters of people stepping over each other to be the first to reach the shelves

Keeping those few things in mind when planning for your next Black Friday purchases might keep you out from getting an unpleasant taste in your mouth from misbehavior people usually employ when money becomes the issue.

Manufacturer Coupons
By that we mean coupons found in national coupon inserts in magazines, package inserts, mail-in forms, newspapers, direct-mailers, through surveys, online (on various websites)  and often come with samples received in classic mail. In most cases, the manufacturer will pay the value of the coupon directly to the shop that sells its products, so the buyer don’t has to worry about filling out written papers to get the money back.

Retailer Coupons
Those are coupons big sellers will post in their shops newspaper ads, through direct mail, or in local newsletters. Usually the manufacturer offers an advertising allowance to the seller’s store, a percentage of the product’s value to cover the expenses of the advertisement and mailing tax for the retailer coupon. This is a good way for retailers to promote their businesses without covering the whole cost of the discount.

Online Printable Coupons
Many times manufacturers and grocery stores have coupons listed on their Web pages which can be printed and used by potential buyers in their stores to purchase special products at a discounted price. These discount coupons can be really massive because of the lower price required to produce and manage. Those would be the Black Friday coupons I would look for this year.

So, here’s what I have in mind for this Black Friday shopping holiday:

• Blu-ray player for 150$ and Blu-ray movies for 10-15$. That could make me switch my favorites movie collection from DVDs to Blu-ray disks
• LED Full HD LCD TV for 1000$. That’s my dream since when I saw some Samsung LED TVs at work and got impressed by the image clarity
• an eBook reader for 100$ with some e-books bundled
• Core i7 desktop PC without a monitor for under 600$, as I need more processing power there days (PC games as you might expect are the reason)
• PlayStation 3 Slim and this might make me ditch the Blu-ray player
• a 17″ laptop without Operating System, as I need a lot of power on the move

It’s a pretty long Black Friday list but I hope deals will be low enough for me to afford all of this stuff.

First, look closely and see if the product is broken, refurbished or has some parts missing. Then look look up the products name and see if you really pay for the advertised product. This second tip is really useful when we talk about gadgets and electronics, as a mismatched letter can mean a totally different product (the sales man made a mistake or he really tried to screw you over buying something that’s not a bargain). Check the warranty period and compare it with the one advertised by the products manufacturer on its website.

I know those sort of things take time but it will ensure you won’t get a faulty products or get something which is not worth the money. Remember: Black Friday bargains exist but you should always trust no one when it comes to giving money.

So, we’ve made up a list with package discounts we would like to see during this Black Friday shopping season:

• Notebook + Netbook discount upgrades, that’s for families or couples who have now the opportunity to renew/buy their first portable computers
• Computer peripheral gaming packs which will include keyboard, gaming mouses and detachable numpads, jjoysticks and even force feedback steering wheels
• More consoles (even the new Sony PS 3 SLIM) and game packs bundled with accessories like wireless controllers
• Microsoft will almost for sure offer some Windows 7 family packs upgrades (licences for 3 computers), but those will be available all the way from Windows 7’s October launch to Christmas shopping season so you’re not only limited to Black Friday.

Now adding the fact that there are a large number or online shops selling the same products and you’ll get a clear picture about how hard it is to find the lowest price for an electronic gadget during Black Friday. But this doesn’t necessarily mean that Black Friday shopping deals can’t be found, as there are a few tools to help you in your search: price comparisons engines like PriceGrabber, BizRate and big online shops like Amazon and Ebay. All you have to do is sign in for a free account and add the products you wish to purchase during Black Friday on your wish list, then when the time comes just verify if there are any offers on those products. That’s it, this is how you get a hold on shopping deals on electronics during Black Friday.

And, as experience taught us, there’s nothing like seeing before buying stuff. Plus you can always find new exciting stuff that you might have overlooked online. If it’s there, in front of your eyes, you’ll definitely notice it and you’ll better get an idea about the product in 3D, rather than 2D, as few online stores have 3D models shown for the products they sell.

Of course you might want to think about some of the disadvantages of buying from a black friday ‘regular’ store and those include: crowded places, low stock and as you can’t be in two places the same time you can’t visit and buy from too many stores in one day, as you can in an online environment.
