What a night of Big Brother Live Feeds! The new HOH on BB28 was crowned and we quickly learned this would not be a quiet, regular Week 2 of Big Brother. Instead the new HOH promised last week’s Noms they would be safe and is now looking at a little Backdoor drama to help kick off the season. We’re hear for it.

Yes, it’s Devens at the helm with Dee passing the Survivor torch to him, keeping the power consolidated with the Reality Vets this season so far. Rick is sure not to go back at Yash or Taylor, as he promises them both that overnight. Instead, someone is about to find themselves in a pickle(ball) if things go to plan for Devens.

Big Brother 28 Live Feed Highlights – Thursday, July 16, 2026:

9:44 PM BBT – Feeds return. Devens is wearing the HOH key.

9:45 PM BBT – Devens gives Angela a hug and tells her this is the best thing that could have happened for her this week. Devens tells Barrett he isn’t going to just nominate the same HGs again.

9:50 PM BBT – Devens and Rome talking in the SR. Rome asks where Lyric falls in his plans and Devens tells him that he has given Lyric many opportunities to talk to him and she has given him nothing.

11:00 PM BBT – Barrett and Drew check in on Devens’s plans to meet with everyone before deciding his Noms.

11:25 PM BBT – Drew and Dee run through some options for what Devens could do as the new HOH. They’re excited to continue to hold power.

12:40 AM BBT – LaTrice warns Devens that Haley is playing too hard too soon and suggests her as a target. Devens admits that he promised Haley safety during the comp, so he doesn’t feel like he can go back on that.

12:50 AM BBT – Devens tells Kamu that he won’t put Taylor or Yash back up on the Block since they were just up there. Instead Devens is floating Melody as his target. Kamu thinks Lyric could be a better target but notes that would pull Rome into the battle.

1:00 AM BBT – Rome wants to make a deal with Devens. Keep him, Lyric, and Jason safe this week and Rome will do the same for him next week. Rome is pushing the safety of Jason and Lyric while leaving Melody out.

1:15 AM BBT – Dee and Devens meet up again and affirm their F2. Devens shares with Dee what Rome was pitching to him.

1:30 AM BBT – Yash’s turn and he’s offering himself as an ally to Devens. Devens says he wants to do something new this week rather than just repeating last week’s Noms, which means Yash is safe this round.

1:50 AM BBT – Haley pitches a Rome-backdoor plan to Devens. She wants to see a big week for his HOH.

2:05 AM BBT – Devens is liking the Rome-backdoor option. He is considering nominating Melody, Jason, and Lyric then going for Rome. He later admits this plan will be very obvious once his Noms are announced.

2:15 AM BBT – Chuk meets with Devens and also agrees with the Melody target (Devens’s cover story).

2:45 AM BBT – Barrett and Devens meet up. Barrett fully supports Devens’s plan to go after Rome with a BD and encourages Devens to go for the chaos.

3:00 AM BBT – Barrett has a similar talk with Taylor as he did with Yash: no reheating last week’s Noms.

3:10 AM BBT – Drew is meeting with Devens. Devens is pretending Melody is the main target (hiding the Rome BD plan initially) before getting to the point of coming up with the strategy to BD Rome. Seems there is still some uncertainty for Devens on trusting Drew.

3:30 AM BBT – Devens, Dee, and Drew are going over votes and the strategy to go after Rome. Dee wants to go get Angela and Barrett to tell them this “new” plan (Barrett already knows it, but she’s also covering that like Devens did with Drew).

3:55 AM BBT – Devens is meeting with a large group with Kamu, Dee, Angela, Chuk, Haley, and Drew to go over the BD-Rome plan. He is going to nominate Jason, Lyric, and Melody upfront. They’re excited and jumping around. Lyric is downstairs immediately below them. Soon Jason and Rome have joined her downstairs in the kitchen. They’re aware of a large group gathering upstairs without them.

4:05 AM BBT – Devens tells the group that he can take the heat for this move and no one should feel like they need to stand up and protect him.

4:15 AM BBT – Angela went downstairs to wake Barrett and bring him up to the meeting. She marches straight past Rome and Lyric like they’re not even there.

4:30 AM BBT – New mega-alliance forming in the HOH room. It’s Crossovers + Red Corner. They’ll go by Tool Shed.

4:35 AM BBT – Rome is ringing the doorbell upstairs, but the new alliance is sitting there ignoring him. He eventually gives up and goes back downstairs. Later Haley comments that they just didn’t hear the bell. They did.

Oh we’re in for a fun week whether or not Devens pulls off his chaos plan. If it works then we get a dramatic run to the next eviction vote and the end of the Lyme showmance. If it fails then we’re setting up a power battle that should go back and forth with Rome coming for Devens and allies. Good times ahead!

One eviction down and a lot more to go for Big Brother 28. That means a lot more spoilers to deliver too so let’s get to it. With the first week over it’s time for a new Head of Household. As the outgoing HOH, Dee was not eligible to compete this week, but the other 15 HGs could and there are a lot of alliances wanting their hands on that key!

Yash pulled off a mighty win in the Block Buster, perhaps thanks to his aerodynamic haircut, but could he grab a second win in the same night? It’d be the Bros versus the Red Corner versus the Crossovers and then toss in some random minglings too. Nearly everyone wants this power (but not quite everyone does). So who did secure the upstairs room this week?

The first eviction of the season has arrived to reveal who was voted out last night on Big Brother 28! Was it be Ashley, Taylor, or Yash? One of these three HGs saw an abrupt end to their game and now holds the unenviable title as the Week 1 evictee. Ouch!

Thursday’s live show started at 8/7c and our live coverage began at 8PM ET with updates throughout the show including the Block Buster, Diary Room votes, and if there’s any chance at a glimpse of the upcoming HOH competition. And don’t forget, CBS will be streaming the Live Feeds right after the live show ends so let’s see how that goes. You’ll recall the Block Buster twist from the past few seasons, but if you don’t here’s how it works. The HOH’s 3 nominees will head into this special arena live on eviction night. The competitions vary from something physical to mental and even sometimes a combination of the two. The winner gets to escape the Block and is free from potential eviction, for now, but the other two HGs will return and sit together in the center seats before facing the vote.

This week’s Block Buster competition is set up with giant screens where the players have to run around to watch video clips and decide who shows up the most. That was easy enough to answer from our seat at home, but apparently a lot tougher in person!

Tonight is the first Big Brother 28 eviction of the season. Either Taylor, Yash, or Ashley becomes the first person to leave the game. They join the rare group of 17th-place finishers. Ashley, who was once safe, now seems to be on her way out of the house unless she wins the BB Block Buster.

If history repeats itself, Ashley could win it. This would make Yash the next target. Overall, the Thursday live feeds remained mostly quiet, with some game talk but mainly getting ready for the live show.

Big Brother 28 Live Feed Highlights – Thursday, July 16, 2026:

9:08 AM BBT- Houseguests wake for the day.

9:12 AM BBT – Drew warns Yash that if the vote comes down to Yash or Taylor, it’s really close. He lets him know that he stays over Ashley, based on things he’s been hearing. Drew tells him the best case scenario is if Taylor or Yash win the BB Block Buster.  He tells Yash not to tell anyone what he told him. Yash promises to keep it to himself.

9:34 AM BBT – Jason tells Dee that he thinks they should keep Ashley over Yash because this would extend their safety by a few weeks. He sees her with the Chuk, Kamu, and Haley alliance. He thinks if she remains, the houseguests will focus on getting them out before they start having to turn on each other. He wants to keep Taylor in any scenario.

9:56 AM BBT – Jason, LaTrice, and Rome have a little complain session about Haley. They also talk about Angela being a valuable piece in the game because she will go after people.

11:03 AM BBT – Rome and Lyric talk about meeting each other’s parents one day.

11:08 AM BBT – LaTrice and Angela speak in the storage room. She advises her to find people she can bond with because that can help a lot in this game. Angela says she had a few people her first season, including Leah who she got to play the whole game with – since left on the same day.

11:13 AM BBT – Kamu joins Lyric and Rome as they were trying to cuddle. They pull away when he arrives. Lyric later says to the camera that it was awkward. You don’t know who to trust. She’s just going to focus on actions.

11:21 AM BBT – Feeds go down for technical test for tonight’s live eviction.

1:18 PM BBT – Feeds return.

1:28 PM BBT – Houseguests start cleaning for tonight’s show.

1:41 PM BBT – Drew and Haley begin a game talk. They discuss who they want to see win the upcoming Head of Household. Drew says he worries about LaTrice winning and just doing what Rome says. He also mentions Melody being a scary option. Haley thinks Melody is someone they can get rid of without any blood.

2:01 PM BBT – Angela reassures Lyric that she likes her, and even encourages her to just to enjoy her showmance with Rome. Lyric tels Angela that she won’t nominate her.

2:16 PM BBT – Feeds go down until after the show.

Slow start to the Big Brother day. However, they will certainly heat up after the eviction.  We’re expecting not much fireworks tonight but the pressure cooker of the house is certainly starting to get to the players.

The first eviction vote of the Big Brother 28 season is nearly upon us with 14 votes ahead tonight once the Block Buster competition removes either Ashley, Taylor, or Yash from the Block. Right now it’s still anyone’s chance to survive the night, but after that comp the votes will be landing and sending one HG out the front door.

Right now we’ve got Ashley as the renom along with Taylor and Yash as the original two Noms following Mallory’s Veto victory that secured her safety and opened the door for Dee to renom Ashley.

On Tuesday night Ashley had secured the support of the Crossovers to keep her safe this week. Dee and company wanted to bring Ashley in as a number for their side. She was golden. And then she wasn’t as the target fell from Yash’s back and shifted to Ashley instead.

Wednesday led to Ashley spilling names to the other side on who had promised her safety, thereby exposing their grouping clearly. Once the Crossovers learned of that, Ashley was done. The HGs had to cover their rears and that meant pulling their votes from keeping Ashley. So where does that put us for tonight’s vote?

Few match up variations here depending on that Block Buster outcome. It’ll either be Ashley vs Taylor, Ashley vs Yash, or Taylor vs Yash. And since we don’t even know what kind of comp they’ll face it’s too early to predict based on a physical versus mental kind of comp.

Ashley versus Taylor: it’ll be overwhelmingly Ashley going out the door with Taylor safe.

Ashley versus Yash: Yash has found safety in this one. And he nearly wasn’t. He owes Ashley a beer and a burger.

Yash versus Taylor: Yash won’t be so lucky in this one. Here Yash goes and Taylor stays.

Taylor is the safest here and I don’t see a scenario where she goes home tonight. 2 out of 3 has Ashley gone and Yash is only in danger against Taylor. Big Brother 28 Week 1 winds down tonight as the first houseguest of the season will be evicted. That means it’s time to take a look at how each player in BB28 is faring. As of now, it’s the Crossovers alliance dominating the ranking because that’s how it shaped up in Week 1. Let’s take a look.

1. Dee

It may seem easy or lazy to put the current Head of Household in first place, but based on how some of the first Heads of Household have played in recent seasons, it is anything but. Dee has handled her HOH reign much better than a lot have recently. She used her power to position herself in two strong alliances and has managed to remain well-liked, even among those she nominated this week. So her social game is currently solid as well.

2. Drew

For a newbie, Drew is playing a solid game. It might seem like he’s just doing the bidding of the “icons,” but it’s more than that. He is in a strong alliance, but is focusing on connections outside that group. And he’s always listening and taking things in. I think he really has potential in this game – as long as he does eventually realize he will never be able to break the bond of Devens and Dee. And I think he will see that at some point if he hasn’t already.

3. Angela

Season 28 Angela is different than Season 26 Angela. We saw that for sure during Wednesday night’s episode. This version of Angela is playing much smarter and saving her emotions for the Diary Room. For now. But time will tell if she can keep up with her strategy and trust her allies. That was one of her biggest downfalls in BB26. She never let herself trust anyone. She seems to trust Devens and Dee, though. So she has herself currently placed pretty well in that Crossovers alliance.

4. Barrett

Everyone seems to like Barrett, and as a super fan, he really has his hand on the pulse of the game. Like Drew, he has positioned himself with the icons while also working on relationships outside the group. And his closeness to Dee (while could end up a liability) could pay off in the end when Dee realizes she might need to actually cut Devens. I’m not saying that will happen anytime soon, but I really don’t see that lasting all the way to final 2. So, Barrett could be there to step in. That’s all a long way off, but while thinking of scenarios, this is something to consider.

5. Kamu

The Red Corner alliance might not be real to Dee and Devens, but it’s real to Kamu, and I would call him the leader of that group. He is actually playing with some strategy so I think he is a real threat in the game.

6. Devens

I don’t think Devens has exactly figured out Big Brother yet. I ranked him lower than the other Crossoevers and Kamu because I just think that’s where he has landed this week. He tells too much info to people for starters. Sure the people he blabbed to are in his alliance, but there are some things you keep to yourself or just you and your ride or die. I think he learned that, though, so we will see where he ends up next week.

7. Melody

Props to Melody for actually trying to play the game this week. She worked on collecting allies and knew she had to distance herself from Mallory after she ended up on the block. Of course Dee knew what she was doing, but that is more a testament of Dee’s game than it is of Melody’s. She was doing what she should have, and maybe it worked because she did not end up the replacement nominee.

8. Rome

I think Rome is very likable and despite being a bro/meathead archetype, he’s not really being looked at like that. I think if he wasn’t already heavily in a showmance with Lyric, he could really rise up in the game. I mean, I guess he still could even with a showmance. I mean a showmance made it to Final 2 in that terrible season of Big Brother 21.

9. Mallory

Mallory did not handle her nomination well and really made the target on her back bigger, but you have to give credit to someone who goes out there and wins that Power of Veto and saves themselves from eviction. Credit where it’s due. But I don’t see her ranking this high again. But maybe she will surprise me.

10. Chuk

This is where things start getting blurry. There’s a whole batch of people just kind of existing. I think Chuk might be higher than the others because of his security with the Red Corner alliance. And he doesn’t seem to be doing anything wrong currently. That’s about all I can say for some of these people: “They aren’t doing anything wrong yet.” Ha.

11. La Trice

As I said, these next few rankings are people who just exist currently. La Trice seems to have a solid social game, though. So she can sit right here for now.

12. Lyric

Lyric seems to be far more interested in falling in love than playing the game, but at least she has a strong man to protect her.

13. Yash

Yash moves up a bit since he will likely stick around this week and he will probably be hard to get out, which is why they should take that shot this week if they can, even if Ashley messed up with her campaigning (see below).

14, Taylor

Taylor has upset a few people in the game (I am still not sure why), so she has to work on her social strategy a bit, but she should be able to survive the vote this week. Unless the plan changes.

15. Jason

I like that Jason is trying to play and knows that the icons need to go. Of course everyone should be targeting the icons. But you have to be smart about it. Jason is being so messy about it. And that stunt he pulled with Angela was just dark, dark energy. It really grossed out a lot of fans. That is not why he’s ranked so low, though, but doing things like that can’t help your social game.

16. Ashley

I had Ashley ranked higher because she was safe this week regardless of the Block Buster scenario. But she spent Wednesday campaigning against Dee and her alliance which put the target straight on her back. So she would even go home over Yash at this point. She really messed up. But how was she to know … I guess.

17. Haley

Haley lands at the bottom because the house does not really like her and I have no idea what is going on with her. I should maybe swap her with Ashely, but at this point 16 and 17 are pretty much the same ranking. It’s the bottom of the barrel regardless.
