Drew has been having a crazy week so far. First, he became the target, then the Toolshed decided to keep him, and now they’re only keeping him if he’s not on the block against Lyric. Drew’s fate truly depends on the BB Block Buster. However, Dee, Devens, and Barrett want to keep him in the game now. It just might be too late.

Earlier in the week, Dee and Devens discussed warning Drew about the Red Corner wanting to vote him out (though it was actually Dee and Devens who initially orchestrated taking out Drew), but it seemed like they had abandoned that plan, because it could cause too much chaos. However, Dee found out yesterday that Kamu was trying to flip the votes again against Drew to keep Lyric.

She wasn’t happy about this and wanted to keep Drew in the game for the Crossovers’ benefit. On Thursday morning, Devens decided to tell Drew that the Crossovers wanted to keep him, but Kamu, Chuk, and Haley wanted him out. He presented the information a lot differently from reality.

He told Drew that Kamu and his trio came up with the idea late last night. Drew brought up that he saw Kamu and Yash talking late last night, and that’s when he began to suspect that maybe Kamu was cluing Yash in on a plan to flip the votes against him.

Drew shared with Devens that now he wanted to win the BB Block Buster and the Head of Household and go after Kamu, Chuk, and Haley. He wasn’t going to fake an alliance with them anymore. Drew also brought up knowing that Dee and Devens had powers. He was fine with it, but he wanted him to know he knows he has it because it just makes the most sense.

Drew and Devens agreed that the best scenario would be for Drew to win the BB Block Buster because they wouldn’t have to show their cards. However, Drew said he should be fine because he trusted the Crossovers to vote for him to stay this week. Drew then took the information to Dee, but left out that Devens told him.

He also told Dee that he wanted to go after the Red Corner now, and that he was okay with Melody leaving because he wants to stay. Dee also acted confused about the Red Corner wanting to get Drew out now. Drew also expressed concerns about Angela because of her close relationship with Haley.

Dee told him not to worry about Angela because she would vote for him to stay. This information just made Drew more sure of his plans to turn against the Red Corner. If he survives the block, it will be interesting to see how Drew navigates knowing the Red Corner wanted him out.

The Toolshed war is heating up. This is the perfect tension going into tonight’s Wall competition. Hopefully, we get a good battle.

It’s nearly time for the fourth eviction of Big Brother 28 with the live show tonight where one of the final Noms of the week will be sent out the door following the upcoming Block Buster opportunity. Yesterday we took a look at the vote counts and while there was plenty more discussion we didn’t see any major tide changes. But all the same, no solid decisions seem to be set just yet which makes this fun heading into the next vote.

With the Block Buster in play that gives us three possible match ups between Drew, Lyric, and Melody. As you’ll see below I expect Lyric is likely safe in all combinations so it’ll be the messiest if she wins the Buster herself. And she just might! Lyric has performed well before in the comps so this wouldn’t be a shocker if she pulls off the win and there’s no way you’d want to sandbag such an important situation, but I’m hoping for a more exciting result with one of the other two winning the Block Buster.

Drew versus Melody:
As mentioned above, this is the one scenario I would like to avoid because it means Lyric has won the Buster and the votes will come down to splitting up Drew and Melody. It’s tough here because Toolshed has not had Drew’s back but then Dee decided maybe they should keep him over the past few days and that’s where we’ve seen things lean.

But even still overnight last night on the Feeds the talks were all over the place. In the end though on these two together on the Block I think it’ll be Melody evicted over Drew. HGs will be happy to split up Drew’s extension out of the Toolshed and the other side will still be weakened so they’ve achieved progression in their own goals.

Drew versus Lyric:
This one is more interesting because even though I’d prefer to see Lyric go over Drew just because I think he adds more to the game than she does at this point, I would expect Drew to draw the short straw here.

The Toolshed has been lying to Drew’s face for days and why stop now. Lyric is the easy option and low threat to keep over Drew or Melody. HGs know where she stands and they know she’ll throw you under the bus for a moment of safety. Meanwhile they fear Drew’s unpredictability.

Keeping Drew though could hopefully give us a chance to see a turn on the Toolshed that they’d be due with their betrayal against him just the same. Now that could make for some Fun Feeds, but first we still need someone other than Red Corner to win a darned HOH!

Melody versus Lyric:
Similar situation here with Melody against Lyric in the case of Drew winning the Block Buster. Melody is definitely going here and I get it. Melody hasn’t won anything yet, but she’s vocal opposition and that’s just the kind of thing an HOH like Haley would dislike.

In this case though the game gets even tougher for Mallory who really needs an ally other than Lyric. Isolating Mallory with a Melody eviction puts Mallory at the top of the punchlist for nominations going forward. Just as Lyric doesn’t have support, neither would Mallory outside of Barrett who isn’t willing to even stand up for Drew so don’t expect him to stick his neck out for Mallory.

In the end, I think Melody is in the most danger tonight, Drew in second place for that honor, and Lyric the safest of the thrill. I’d love nothing more than a surprise turn of events tonight because surprises in Big Brother aren’t frequent these days but we shall see.

CBS has just confirmed that tonight’s Head of Household competition will be an Endurance battle and it will be on the Live Feeds with the return of The Wall!

We knew this was likely coming since the backyard has been on shutdown for days now and that’s usually the tell-tale of an Endurance comp and Big Brother loves its reliable Wall, so all that coming together should surprise no one. So what does all this mean for Big Brother 28 tonight?

After the next eviction the remaining HGs, minus Haley as the outgoing HOH (who probably needs to rest as she has just had the hardest four weeks of Big Brother known to any HGs…), will line up on a huge vertical platform with a tiny horizontal ledge. They’ll be able to grip and grab at the wall but it won’t be easy. Big Brother is about to slam them with goop, glitter, cold water, or anything else they can think of to make things uncomfortable.

If that wasn’t enough then the HGs will also be tilted forward to uncomfortable angles in hopes of shaking some of them loose. Last HG standing (or rather hanging on) will become the new Head of Household. Mercy please let that be someone other than a Red Corner member, mkay?

Typically these competitions favor the smaller frames and lighter HGs so someone like Chuk won’t have an advantage, but a HG like Mallory could. Fingers crossed because a Mallory HOH could yield us some good Feeds this coming week.

These are the best competitions because of the high stakes and getting to watch it playout together as it happens. Since it’ll start at the end of the show or just after then if you want to watch it with us you’ll need the Live Feeds. The Red Corner alliance once again dominated the Big Brother 28 house in Week 4, so this week’s Power Rankings won’t change much. It’s no easy task to rank players when one group is calling all the shots. But it has to be done, so let’s take a look at how the BB28 players stacked up this past week.

1. Devens

Devens holds onto the top spot this week because his alliance is steamrolling the game and in his pocket is the Diamond Power of Veto. So even something doesn’t go his way one week, he has that powerful reward to save him or someone from the alliance. (Last Ranking: 1)

2. Dee

Dee remains in the second spot because, like Devens, she also has a power in her pocket. Of course her advantage, the BB Bribe, isn’t as powerful as the Diamond Power of Veto, but it’s a power nonetheless. She also is playing the best game currently, so I think that she really does deserve this spot. She actually deserves the top spot, but Devens’ power is just too strong for me to consider swapping them this week. (Last Ranking: 2)

3. Taylor

Taylor takes a big leap this week because she won the Power of Veto, and showed us that she has been strategically laying low. But she also really knows what’s going on in the house and if she gets HOH she will do exactly what’s right. Of course that Diamond Power of Veto could mess everything up for her. (Last Ranking: 10)

4. Angela

Angela holds steady at No. 4 this week only because she is still being insulated by the remnants of the Crossovers alliance. Other than that, I am not sure I would be placing her this high. She’s had some bad reads on the game in typical Angela fashion, but she has done a good job reeling herself in more than her first season. (Previous Ranking: 4)

5. Kamu

Kamu slips this week after his HOH reign, because he didn’t do himself any favors during his arguments with Jason. But he is high on the totem poll with the Red Corner alliance, so he’s still got a lot of power in the game.  (Last Ranking: 3)

6. Haley

Haley moves up this week as the reigning Head of Household. And while she might be very unliked by most of the houseguests, she really stuck to her guns this week. She did not let Kamu or anyone else tell her what to do. She showed a lot of power this week, so it made sense for her to move up. And of course, she’s on the winning side of the house, so there’s always that. (Last Ranking: 8)

7. Melody

I am not sure where to even put the rest of the houseguests, so let me just say any of those listed here or below are only fractions of points away from each other. Melody ranks higher than some of the others because she knows what’s going on in the house and really wants to be able to make a move. Hopefully she can survive the eviction this week and get a chance to really show us. (Last Ranking: 9)

8. Chuk

It pains me to put Chuk so high, but once again, it’s all about who you are aligned with. And he chose the right group to align with. So I am forced to do something I don’t want to do here. (Last Ranking: 7)

9. Barrett

Barrett hasn’t done anything so far this season, but that is working out for him. He is less on the outs of the big alliance than Drew is and has Dee in his corner, so at this point, he is in a better position. (Last Ranking: 11)

10. Yash

Like Barrett, Yash hasn’t done much. But ever since winning the Block Buster week 1, he’s been safe and on no one’s radar. I am not sure how long he can slip by like this, but so far it’s working out for him. (Last Ranking: 12)

11. Drew

Drew slips this week because his alliance has been looking at him as the target this week. That may or may not have changed at this point, but things aren’t looking good for him if the game continues to move in the same direction. That being said, he does want to go after the power players, so I still have to give him some points for not just following along. (Last Ranking: 6)

12. Mallory

Mallory moves up this week as she had a safe week and was able to truly make a real with Haley to stay off the block, unlike Lyric. (Last Ranking: 15)

13. Lyric

Lyric drops drastically this week because she failed at every move to get in with the Red Corner group. She made progress with Kamu, but Haley just wasn’t having it. Right now Lyric is on pretty shaky ground as she’s jumped ship from her side of the house, but landed no where, really. (Last Ranking: 5)

14. LaTrice

LaTrice ranks the lowest this week simply because she doesn’t seem to know what’s going on in the game. She’s contributed very little to the game so far.  (Last Ranking: 14)

Tonight on Big Brother 28 another Houseguest’s dream will come to an end with the live vote and eviction. Will it be Drew, Lyric, or Melody out the door to meet Julie and say farewell?

Update: CBS confirms it’s The Wall Endurance HOH comp tonight!

The Block Buster once again remains in the way of a clear picture over tonight’s eviction but the HGs seem ready for however it turns out and things look rough for Melody while Lyric is probably going to be just fine.

The Toolshed’s latest plan is to keep Drew despite their concerns and then see what to do with him next, but that only goes but so far because Lyric is a tempting option for them to keep too without the worries about “is he or isn’t he” with them.

Maybe the best part of tonight is our expectation for an Endurance HOH competition! The backyard has been on lockdown for days and usually that’s the sign of a complex build leading to an Endurance comp. Could that finally bring us a shift away from four straight Red Corner controlled weeks?

Along with the eviction the HGs are also preparing for the next Time Capsule reveal and now with all 3 Vets getting their chance at the spinning chair it’ll finally be a Newbie’s turn. Who do you think will get that chance on Friday? We’ll be watching for those spoilers over the weekend too.

The final night before the next Big Brother vote and the Noms were scrambling to shore up support, but which HGs are getting those votes and who is just getting lip service?

Drew is stressing whether or not he has the Toolshed support and I’d say he doesn’t really except if it’s convenient for the alliance, ie if Melody loses the Block Buster. So while the Noms were worrying about votes the rest of the HGs were looking beyond that to who might be the next HOH and those targets.

Big Brother 28 Live Feed Highlights – Wednesday, August 5, 2026:

3:05 PM BBT – Dee tells Devens that Kamu and Haley are protecting their game and wonder how that shift happened. Dee thinks Kamu is very smart, but Devens thinks that Kamu is just trying to protect Lyric.

3:10 PM BBT – Devens wants to tell Haley that no matter what Kamu and Chuk say, Lyric is planning to target Haley and take her spot in the trio.

3:15 PM BBT – Dee wonders what they should do if the Toolshed doesn’t budge on evicting Drew. He says doesn’t think they should do anything because the only way this is a scenario they have to worry about is if Melody wins the Blockbuster.

3:30 PM BBT – Taylor tells Yash that Haley and Chuk want to form something with them. They agree they are not wanting to work with them, but they can’t really decline it either. They also agree that they see right through them so they should just roll with it.

4:00 PM BBT – Haley tells Drew that Lyric could be swayed if she stays over Lyric. Drew doesn’t think that Lyric would nominate LaTrice and Taylor like they think she will. Haley says that Lyric doesn’t have any other options. Drew says that Lyric has been nominated 3 times so she would likely nominate those HOH’s.

4:10 PM BBT – Haley fills Kamu in on her conversation with Drew. Kamu says that Melody should be target A and if she wins Blockbuster, then Drew should be target B.

4:45 PM BBT – Taylor tells Chuk that they should lock down something between them, Yash, and Haley. Chuk says they can do it tonight.

5:25 PM BBT – Devens is sitting in the HOH room alone when Haley pops in quick and leaves. He says out loud to himself “they clearly don’t have to talk about…” (presumably the vote).

5:35 PM BBT – Barrett jokes that he hopes the HOH comp is who can reach the highest thing without any help.

5:45 PM BBT – Devens tells Kamu that it seems like Drew is more with them now than before he was put up as a pawn. Kamu says that if Drew is sitting on the block next to Lyric, they can still justify sending him home over her.

6:00 PM BBT – Melody tells Drew she’s scared and he tells her not to worry. She says she feels like she is watching herself from above.

6:05 PM BBT – Lyric tells Chuk that if he won HOH, she would be a pawn for him. Says she trusted Kamu and she trusted Haley, she can trust him too. He also tells her just to keep trusting Haley when she says Lyric isn’t the target. He adds that he thinks they will have more answers tonight about where the vote is going.

6:25 PM BBT – Most of the HGs are upstairs chatting. Devens makes the comment “I haven’t put my hands on an idol yet…or have I?”

7:00 PM BBT – Angela asks Mallory what she is going to do with the vote if it’s Melody and Lyric on the block. Mallory says she is voting to keep Melody. She says she is also voting to keep Melody over Drew.

7:20 PM BBT – Drew tells Melody that he doesn’t vibe with Taylor, but he thinks she is funny. Says that anyone who sits next to her in the weeks to come will go.

7:35 PM BBT – Haley tells Dee and Angela that she doesn’t care who wins HOH next week, she knows she will be safe but she is worried about Chuk and Kamu.

7:40 PM BBT – Melody tells Drew that she is going to miss them (him and Mallory) if she leaves this week. He tells her that it’s really cool that they can be friends after this though.

7:45 PM BBT – Drew points out that an initial nominee hasn’t gone home yet and that the renom has gone home every week.

8:00 PM BBT – Haley tells Barrett that she thinks it’s in their best interest to vote Melody out. Says that Lyric is easier to sway. She tells him that she talked to Mallory and she doesn’t want to send either of them home (Melody or Lyric).

8:05 PM BBT – Mallory warns Melody that she thinks the house wants Lyric to stay. Melody says she has to win Blockbuster and Mallory tells her she doesn’t think Drew has the votes to stay.

8:15 PM BBT – Haley stops Lyric and tells her she is fine and that she can stop panicking this week. She says she has noticed Lyric looking really sad. Lyric tells her she is sad because she threw Mallory under the bus.

8:30 PM BBT – Mallory tells Melody that she thinks Lyric wants to do the right thing but she isn’t smart enough to do what’s good for their game. Melody agrees.

8:45 PM BBT – LaTrice tells Taylor that Angela told her that things changed with Drew being the target this week. Yash walks in and interrupts their conversation.

9:00 PM BBT – Drew is crying because he knows if he stays, Melody will be evicted. Devens is trying to comfort him.

9:10 PM BBT – Yash tells LaTrice that it’s better if Drew goes this week. Adds that everyone sees how Drew is playing the game. They are just scared that Melody will go after them. They agree that Melody isn’t likely to win anything.

9:20 PM BBT – LaTrice asks Angela what she is hearing. Angela says it still sounds like Melody but LaTrice doesn’t think that sounds right. Angela agrees but says she doesn’t have a say. LaTrice says that she is going to talk to Kamu and Haley. Angela encourages her to do that.

9:35 PM BBT – Taylor tells Drew that she wants him to know there is a scenario or two where he will be okay. Says moving forward, she wants to be a person for him. He says he is down. Says that he knows the first week they were close but they drifted.

9:45 PM BBT – Yash tells Devens that Drew is the one person who is guaranteed to not put them up. Devens tells Yash that there are two scenarios where Drew is safe and that’s if he wins the Blockbuster or if Lyric wins it. Yash says even if Drew is a liability, he’s their liability.

10:25 PM BBT – Angela talking with Haley in the HOH room. They discuss who is better for their game, Kamu or Chuk. Angela thinks Kamu would do better.

10:30 PM BBT – Mallory, Melody, and Lyric are in the exercise room chatting. Melody is giving Lyric a peptalk. After Lyric leaves Mallory says it is important that if Lyric stays for her to believe she was the main target the whole time.

10:45 PM BBT – Haley tells Angela that if Melody escapes with the Block Buster then they need to get Drew out over Lyric.

10:45 PM BBT – LaLa and Taylor discuss the vote. Taylor thinks they just go with the majority opinion. Taylor told LaLa about Lyric throwing her allies under the bus.

11:00 PM BBT – Melody and Mallory go over the Thursday night events and their current position. Melody only trusts Mallory and Drew, maybe Barrett. Melody is worried the votes will be against her if Lyric gets the Buster and she’s up against Drew.

11:50 PM BBT – Drew and Barrett try to guess what the Block Buster comp will be. Drew is working on making his eviction speech silly if he doesn’t win the BB.

12:45 AM BBT – Devens talks about that he does really like Drew and feels responsible for taking care of him in the game.

1:30 AM BBT – Angela, Kamu, and Haley going over votes. They’re expecting a 9-HG voting bloc. Haley notes that Yash may or may not be with them and Angela had seen Yash and Taylor talking.

1:40 AM BBT – Mallory warns Drew she heard Yash, Devens, and Taylor are looking at voting out Drew. Drew is surprised, especially about Devens. Mallory backtracks that she meant those votes would support him. Drew had a panic moment. Mallory warns him that Lyric looks likely safe against either Drew or Melody though.

1:50 AM BBT – Kamu says the plan is to vote out Melody then Drew if Melody wins BB. He worries Drew may find out and then he’ll just deny and say Lyric is the backup target.

2:05 AM BBT – Drew is asking Kamu about the votes and what happens if Melody wins Block Buster. Kamu promises Melody is the the target and the Toolshed has his back.

2:10 AM BBT – Kamu talks with Yash and then tells Drew he confirmed Yash is keeping him.

Plenty of deception going around for this upcoming vote and Drew better not relax in that Block Buster competition. Despite what the HGs are telling them, Drew and Melody are in the most trouble with Lyric likely safe either way. We will find out tonight what happens and who moves on to Week 5 of Big Brother 28!
