Big Brother 12 Casting Dates Announced & Application Tips

Big Brother 12 is in motion! The first BB12 auditions and casting dates have just been announced so I hope you’ve got your application ready. I’ll continue to update this post with the last casting events so keep checking back right here for the latest audition and casting news for Big Brother 12.

Big Brother 12 might not be until the summer of 2010 but if you’re outgoing enough to want to be on the next season then don’t wait! Apply now for Big Brother 12 to enter the BB12 house when its doors open again in July 2010.

Full (updated) application instructions for Big Brother 12 below the break:

BIG BROTHER 12 APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Applications MUST be written clearly or typed and MUST be accompanied by a videotape. The videotape must meet the following restrictions:

1) Length: Maximum length is two (2) minutes. Anything over two minutes will not be considered.
2) Format: We will accept all formats with the exception of Hi-8, 8MM and Beta (VHS, mini DV, DVD are all welcome).
3) Content: Tell us who you are and why you would make the ultimate housemate on Big Brother. Be creative!
4) Deadline: March 19, 2010, subject to change without notice.

All materials you send us (including videotape and photos) will be retained by Producers and become the property of the Producers and will not be returned to you whether or not you are selected as a participant. Any expenses you incur during the application process including postage, shipping and materials preparation (videotape, photos, etc.) are your sole responsibility. Producers will not reimburse you for these expenses. Only one entry per person is allowed. All decisions of the Producers are final and absolute and not subject to inquiry.

Applications will only be considered if they are complete. Complete applications consist of the following:
1) Completed Application Form
2) Two-minute videotape labeled clearly with your name and city/region number.
3) Two color photographs of yourself, each clearly labeled on the back with your name and city/region number. One must be a close-up of your face, the other must be a full-length photo of your entire (clothed) body. Polaroids are acceptable as long as we can clearly see you.
4) Identification - Attach a copy of your driver’s license, in addition to a social security card, passport or birth certificate.

responsible for lost applications.

If you are selected for an interview, you will be advised so by the Producers shortly before the interview is scheduled. If you are selected to participate in the final selection process, you will be so advised by the Producers shortly before the final selection process is scheduled.

Producers reserve the right to change the terms of the application and the production schedule at anytime. Producers reserve the right to change the eligibility requirements and any other application rules in its sole discretion at any time with or without notice on a specific, case-by-case basis or across the entire applicant pool. Producers also reserve the right to not hold any participant applicant interviews, or to modify the manner in which it conducts participant applicant interviews, or to not produce the program Big Brother at all.

Big Brother 11 Winner Jordan & Fan-Fave Jeff On Amazing Race 16

Update: Jeff & Jordan on The Amazing Race has been officially confirmed with CBS’ release of the player bios. Check out the Big Brother duo’s video online.

Get ready for more Jeff and Jordan, Big Brother fans! While CBS is trying to keep it under wraps the news has leaked that Big Brother winner Jordan Lloyd and BB11’s fan favorite Jeff Schroeder have teamed up once again for The Amazing Race 16!

Fans spotted the winning duo at LAX over the weekend and were told by Jeff that he and Jordan “are in a race” as that’s all he was allowed to say. No confirmations on where the Race teams were headed but one witness spotted them at a gate destined for Chicago and then possibly on to Chile from there.

The lesson here: win lots of money on Big Brother and then tour the circuit of CBS reality shows for more money. It sure sounds like a smarter move than another BB winner had. Let’s see if Jeff and Jordan can get lightning to strike twice! Do you think they can win this game too? Share your thoughts below.

Big Brother Winner Adam Jasinski Busted On Drug Dealing

If Julie Chen asked most Big Brother winners how they planned to spend their half-million dollar prize money I doubt many would admit any ideas of funding a large-scale drug ring. BB9 winner Adam Jasinski has broken the mold.

Jasinski was charged on October 19th with possession of oxycodone pills with the intent to distribute and could be going away for a long, long time:

Authorities say in court papers that Jasinski had nearly 2,000 oxycodone pills on him when he flew from his home in Delray Beach, Florida to Logan Airport.

Authorities say Jasinski, whose nickname is “Baller,” flew into Massachusetts with drugs hiding in his pants. Jasinski allegedly confessed that he had been selling thousands of oxycodone pills all along the East Cost over the past several months, and had been funding his enterprise with the $500,000 price he won from the “Big Brother Season 9” show.

If convicted, Jasinski faces up to 20 years imprisonment and a $1 million fine.

It’s hilarious that they even mention his nickname. Well, if any past winner was sketchy enough to use the prize money to start-up a drug business I guess it’d have to be Adam “so the retards can get together” Jasinski.

Hmm, looks like he’ll be needing a swing at the next All-Stars to help pay that fine. Either that or a cage match with Chima! Bets on who would win?

Update: Adam Jasinski’s hearing has been delayed until October 30th. Perhaps Adam will use this time to prepare for the next Power of Veto competition and by that I mean practicing “don’t drop the soap.”

CBS Says Big Brother 12 In Summer 2010

It’s official, Big Brother fans! CBS has renewed its commitment to the best reality series with Big Brother 12 scheduled to air in the summer of 2010!

CBS is already making plans for Big Brother 12. The network announced today it has ordered another edition of the hit reality series for broadcast in the summer 2010.

The three-times-a-week series has once again turned into a summer sensation, growing its audience both on-air and online for the CBS Television Network and CBS Interactive platforms.

After incredible ratings pushed Big Brother above and beyond previous years it should come as no surprise that CBS wants to see Big Brother 12 next summer. Now if they could just move it up to this winter! Apply now for Big Brother 12!

Big Brother 11 May Be Over But We’ll Always Have Live Feeds Flashback

Sure, the Big Brother 11 season might be over, but for those who came late to the action or even those who are just aren’t ready to let go there’s good news. The Live Feeds Flashback feature will be up and running all off-season for both season 11 and 10 so you can “flashback” to even of the big events of the summer and watch the fun all over as much as you want. Flip through the Live Feeds Highlights and take your pick of what you want to watch again.

On top of that, RealPlayer is going to be webcasting the Big Brother 11 Vegas Bash live on September 18th. If you can’t get out to Las Vegas that weekend then this will be the next best thing. I’ll definitely be checking that out.

Overall this was an awesome season for the live feeds. Between getting the feeds for practically free after the early-bird discount plus the $10 in free mp3’s each month, the new Flashback feature which meant you never had to miss another big drama moment, and some of the most explosive HGs evah the feeds were once again a key component to the Big Brother experience. Thanks RealPlayer!
