After the latest eviction episode Julie Chen revealed the upcoming “never before done” Big Brother twist would result in a nasty surprise for their most loyal fans… No Live Feeds this weekend! Groan.

The No-Feeds part is infuriating. Fans have watched the Feeds with all the weekly spoilers from Thurs night through Sunday evening for decades now and most of us still manage to watch Sunday’s episode. So what makes theme feel we will suddenly not watch Sunday’s episode if we know the spoilers beforehand this time? They celebrate the game by turning off the game? Beyond stupid and short sighted. Way to kill your momentum.

Julie announced that this next twist will take the Houseguests back to the year 1,000 AD. No Angela, that’s still not Egyptians, sheesh. It means Medieval and that’s where the Houseguests are headed. We get one visual clue, says Julie, as the screens head to the backyard and reveal four familiar faces.

Keanu, Britney, Tiffany, and Cody are back as they walk out onto a balcony, presumably overlooking the Big Brother house backyard. And that’s it. That’s all we got!

Julie revealed this twist means there will be no Head of Household, no Nominations, no Power of Veto, and no Block Buster this week. Instead the next eviction will happen with this twist and we will find out more when the next episode arrives at 9PM ET (delayed an hour for the Dolly Parton celebration at 8/7c). Now she said someone’s game will come to an end before the next live eviction, and coupling that with the down Feeds until Sunday’s show then I’m expecting someone will be gone by Sunday’s show, but it’s certainly possible that instead no one still goes until Thursday? We just don’t know.

I’m going to expect there is some sort of Medieval games theme here and with an elimination happening but no Head of Household, Noms, Veto, or Blockbuster then perhaps it’ll be a tournament of competitions leading to a face off for a decision on who goes? Usually a tournament wins its way up so maybe the winner gets to send someone out unilaterally? I’m just guessing here.

Now for the “no Feeds until Sunday” bit, we are actively watching the Feeds here right now. There are tears and emotions running high. Melody was so angry and lots of crying. She let Drew have it for being a crummy ally to her and FAP. But anyway, these Feeds are probably going to cut soon and then the backyard games will begin.

Big Brother 28 Results – Week 7 BB Block Buster:

• Block Buster winner: Drew
• Noms remaining: Taylor & Mallory

Well that kills our chance at the Blindside Barrett organized to keep Mallory or Taylor over Drew. That would have been excited.

Once the Buster competition is settled the players will return to the living room, reveal the results, and eight HGs will prepare to make their decision. And with everything going on since Wednesday night they’re ready to surprise some Vets this week!

The votes are done, another Houseguest has been evicted, and now we’re awaiting the next HOH competition. Dee won’t be eligible to compete so she’ll be watching from the sidelines. And if Yash wins HOH he can’t go after the Vets! We are anxious to find out who takes the key next to guide us through Week 8 of Big Brother 28!

Whoa whoa whoa! Julie just announced that this upcoming twist will be in a medieval setting and this time there will be no HOH, no nominations, and no Power of Veto. The Feeds are going to be off until Sunday after the next episode, so that’s going to demolish our spoilers! Oh mercy.

It’s a major day in the Big Brother world as we prepare for the 1,000th episode celebration and the biggest twist of the summer. We also know this is a huge night for Big Brother 28 because Barrett has made the decision to turn against the vets. This could really shake up the game.

Much of the morning live feeds revolve around the houseguests getting ready for eviction, while Barrett continued planning to blindside his former Crossovers alliance.

Big Brother 28 Live Feed Highlights – Thursday, August 27, 2026:

8:53 AM BBT- Houseguests wake for the day.

9:03 AM BBT – Barrett and LaTrice have a quick shower talk. He confirms that they’re voting out Drew.

9:46 AM BBT – Mallory pitches to Devens to keep her in the game. He says he wants her to stay and the majority alliance to stay together. She mentions how Taylor said that she will never vote for a vet to win the game if she makes the jury. Mallory also says that she will not target Dee and the vets, and she doesn’t think this nomination burned a bridge.

9:52 AM BBT – Devens and Drew talk about how Mallory knows that they plan to vote her out. He tells him about her pitch.

9:57 AM BBT – Devens tells Drew that he thinks Mallory will win the BB Block Buster because it will show them that they didn’t need to do all this. Devens jokes it will be a mug cake making contest.

9:59 AM BBT – Drew and Devens discuss future nominations, and how they will handle things when it’s time for Melody to leave. Devens says it was Mallory over Melody this week because Mallory is better at competitions.

10:05 AM BBT – Drew tells Mallory that he is picking her up the minute she wins the BB Block Buster.

10:07 AM BBT – Mallory and Melody discuss voting out Drew if he loses the BB Block Buster. Mallory says she will also tell Haley about the vote flip.

10:10 AM BBT – Barrett, Melody, and Mallory discuss the plan to vote out Drew this week. However, Mallory says she will tell Haley about the Mosh Pit if the vets don’t vote for her to stay. She wants to expose everything to try to get Haley’s vote.

10:15 AM BBT – Barrett tells Mallory that Dee didn’t nominate Yash because he took the BB Bribe. He also tells her about the Red Corner alliance.

10:28 AM BBT – Mallory and Melody discuss their goodbye messages to Drew being kind of harsh. Melody says she will explain to Drew that her message is kind of harsh but she does care about him.

10:48 AM BBT – Barrett and Devens discuss how to handle another White Locust type twist.

1055 AM BBT – Drew and Dee discuss this week’s votes, and Drew tries to present an idea where he gets to vote out Taylor to pretend that he didn’t know about the vote flip. He mentions that he doesn’t want to put her in a bad position if it ends in a tie vote. Dee doesn’t agree to this scenario.

11:08 AM BBT – Taylor tells Mallory to ask Drew to throw the BB Block Buster.

11:28 AM BBT – Barrett has a camera talk. He says he knows people are questioning his decision to blow up the Crossovers, but he thinks it’s an opportunity to shake up the game. He says he loves the vets, but they have had it easy. He mentions Devens not even seeing the block. He talks about trading one Crossovers for another one.

11:35 AM BBT – Feeds go down for rehearsals

1:10 PM BBT – Feeds return.

1:10 PM BBT – Yash and Barrett check in about the vote.  They say it’s still on. Yash says they just need to hope Drew doesn’t win the BB Block Buster. Barrett thinks the rest of the game will be fun.

1:22 PM BBT – Taylor and Mallory discuss increasing their chances of one of them winning by putting the next best guess after the other.

1:27 PM BBT – Dee tells Drew that he has to make sure he tries for the BB Block Buster, because people could switch up.

1:35 PM BBT – Haley and Drew speculate on what BB Block Buster competitions it could be.

1:41 PM BBT – Yash tells Mallory how Drew exposed his cologne to the Live Feed watchers, and mentioned not having his vote.

1:42 PM BBT – Dee tells Devens that she had to scare Drew a little to make sure he didn’t throw the BB Block Buster to Mallory. Devens tells her about his talk with Mallory this morning.  They discuss throwing Yash under the bus if Melody or Mallory win the HOH. They will mention the Bribe to get him on the block. Devens suggested that they maybe even vote him out if he’s on the block.

1:45 PM BBT – Feeds go down until after the show.

All eyes are on Barrett tonight as he attempts possibly the biggest move of the season. We’re in for an exciting episode and eviction.

Big Brother 28 has another new power structure after Dee won HOH and LaTrice won the Power of Veto. Dee is calling the shots, but the cracks in the Icons’ power structure are getting bigger, with Drew and Barrett no longer seeing eye to eye on how the group is playing the game.

1. Dee

Dee takes over the No. 1 spot after winning Head of Household, but this is probably the most complicated No. 1 ranking of the season. There is no question that she has tremendous power right now. She nominated Drew, LaTrice and Taylor, then ultimately put Mallory on the block after LaTrice used the Power of Veto.

The problem is that Dee is burning bridges almost everywhere she turns. She has repeatedly gone back on deals, is frustrating the people she considers allies and is becoming increasingly focused on eliminating anyone she thinks could eventually challenge the Icons. That may be great for controlling the game in the short term, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to see how she plans to collect enough jury votes if she keeps making enemies.

Still, this is a power ranking, and Dee is currently the one with the power. She has the Icons, Devens, Angela and plenty of other connections, and she has now won another HOH. Until someone actually breaks her power structure, she deserves the top spot. (Last Ranking: 2)

2. Devens

Devens drops one spot almost entirely because Dee won HOH, but he remains the most dangerous player in the house. His Diamond Power of Veto is gone, but his influence certainly isn’t. He continues to have a major say in what the Icons do, and Dee still looks to him when making some of the biggest decisions of the game.

The biggest concern for Devens is that more players are finally recognizing just how much control he has. Barrett has questioned the relationship with the Vets, while Yash has also started looking for ways to work around them.

For now, though, Devens is still incredibly well positioned. He has power, relationships and the ability to win competitions when he needs them. (Last Ranking: 1)

3. Taylor

Taylor stays at No. 3 because she continues to quietly survive every shift in the house. She was nominated this week, but LaTrice winning the veto gives her another chance to escape the block. More importantly, Taylor is increasingly becoming part of the group that wants to move away from the Icons.

Taylor continues to maintain relationships with Yash, Mallory and Melody, while even some of the players closest to the Icons are beginning to recognize that she could be a valuable number. She has also managed to avoid becoming one of the primary targets despite being involved in several different groups.

Taylor’s biggest strength right now is that she doesn’t need to control the house. She just needs to keep people around her fighting with each other. (Last Ranking: 3)

4. Yash

Yash gets a significant boost after what initially looked like a disastrous HOH reign. He lost control of his week when Devens used the Diamond Power of Veto to save Dee and put Kamu on the block, but Yash has recovered surprisingly well.

His biggest advantage now is that he has deals with both Dee and the Icons while maintaining relationships with the people who want to take the Icons out. His relationship with Taylor also remains valuable, giving him options on multiple sides of the house.

That puts Yash in a much better position than he was immediately after his HOH. He may not completely trust the Icons, but they still have reasons to protect him. At the same time, the other side sees him as a potential number against them. That’s exactly the kind of middle position Yash needs right now. (Last Ranking: 10)

5. LaTrice

LaTrice makes one of the biggest jumps this week after winning the Power of Veto at exactly the right time. She was one of Dee’s nominees, but she now has the power to take herself off the block and force Dee to find another target.

Even more importantly, LaTrice has shown that she is willing to make moves and question the current power structure. Winning this veto gives her a huge opportunity to reset her game after a relatively quiet stretch following her HOH.

She still has work to do socially, but this was exactly the kind of competition win she needed. (Last Ranking: 8)

6. Angela

Angela stays in the middle of the rankings because she continues to benefit from being one of the Icons without necessarily being the first person everyone thinks about when discussing the group.

Her relationship with Dee and Devens remains extremely valuable, and she has shown that she can win when she needs to. The problem is that Angela’s position is becoming increasingly dependent on the other two Icons. As more houseguests start looking at the group as a collective threat, Angela could eventually become the easiest one to separate from the pair.

For now, though, she is still protected by the most powerful players in the game. (Last Ranking: 7)

7. Melody

Melody remains one of the more quietly positioned players in the house. She has her relationship with FAP, connections to Mallory and Barrett and has also maintained enough relationships outside that group to avoid becoming an obvious target.

The biggest development for Melody is that she and Mallory are starting to realize that being included in the Mosh Pit does not necessarily mean they are being treated as equals. That realization could be very important moving forward.

Melody isn’t controlling the game, but she is increasingly positioned to benefit when everyone else starts turning on each other. (Last Ranking: 5)

8. Barrett

Barrett is one of the most fascinating players in the house right now because his relationship with Drew and the Icons is finally starting to crack.

For weeks, Barrett and Drew have essentially been operating as soldiers for the Vets. But Barrett is now questioning why the Icons continue to use them, and he is becoming increasingly willing to move forward without blindly following Dee and Devens.

That is a huge development for his game. Barrett has also started working with Yash and the other side of the house, and he appears increasingly willing to let Drew take the fall if that is what it takes to move forward. He is taking a risk, but at least he is finally recognizing that he needs to play for himself. (Last Ranking: 6)

9. Haley

Haley moves up because sometimes the best thing a player can do in Big Brother is disappear.

She has gone from being an easy target and one of the most frequently discussed nominees to someone who is increasingly blending into the background. That may not make for the most exciting television, but it could be exactly what Haley needs.

Players are now far more concerned with the Icons, Drew, the growing rebellion against the Vets and the fractures within the major alliances. Haley is no longer at the center of those conversations, which gives her some breathing room.

She still has a lot of work to do, but being underestimated is a much better position than being everyone’s target. (Last Ranking: 11)

10. Mallory

Mallory takes a hit after going from a potential member of the new majority to the replacement nominee. Dee’s decision to put her on the block after LaTrice used the veto showed just how little protection the Mosh Pit actually provided.

The good news is that Mallory has correctly identified the Icons as a major threat, and she has been working to maintain relationships with Yash, Taylor and Melody. The bad news is that she is now sitting on the block and has become someone the Icons clearly view as dangerous.

Mallory has the strategic instincts to make a deep run, but she needs to survive this week first. (Last Ranking: 9)

11. Drew

Drew takes one of the biggest falls of the week because his position has deteriorated rapidly.

The biggest problem is that Drew is finally realizing that the Icons may never actually see him as an equal. Dee targeted him as a potential nominee, and she has repeatedly questioned whether he can be trusted.

Even worse, Barrett is now starting to see the same thing. The two have discussed how the Icons continually use them to do their dirty work while protecting themselves, and Barrett is becoming increasingly open to moving on without Drew.

Drew still has relationships throughout the house and his Never-Not Pass gives him some protection, but his biggest problem is that the people he thought were protecting him are now some of the people most interested in seeing him go. (Last Ranking: 4)

For a few weeks, Big Brother teased the biggest twist of the season. Big Brother 28 has already had plenty of twists with the Time Capsule, Survivor players entering the game, and a returning Big Brother player. Therefore, this twist has to be something game-changing.

The twist announcement led to a lot of speculation.  A popular theory was that the week would combine a Survivor theme with Jankie World week. It would involve the houseguests outside and competing for safety. People also thought it could trigger some more White Locust-level trauma with a houseguest’s fate relying on a competition.

All the speculation led to plenty of worry, but the actual twist may be even more worrisome than any of the theories. Earlier this week, the Big Brother production team began giving interviews to celebrate the show’s legacy and the 1,000th episode.

The show’s producers Allison Grodner, Rich Meehan, and Chris Roach spoke to TVInsider about the upcoming episode and the twist. The producers said, “This episode will launch one of the biggest twists of the summer…and it’s something that has never happened before!” This is terrifying because Big Brother has done so many things before.

Maybe they’re hyping it up as something brand new but it will be one of the same twists  that we have seen in the past, but just with a few alterations. A popular online theory is that it could be a week where America controls everything. They pick the nominations and who they evict.

We have seen similar twists in past seasons, but not one where America completely acts as the Head of Household.  This would be an exciting week for some, and terrifying for others. It depends on how you view America’s votes so far. Likely, if America controls the votes, then it will benefit Devens, who has been winning the popularity votes on Big Brother Network. The people on the block will likely be those who have been ranking last.

If you’re a Devens fan, then this twist will be your thing. If you’re not a fan, then this twist may not be a favorite one. Another interesting idea is that some people think it will be a Backwards week.

No, a Backwards week isn’t like a Reset week. It happened in Big Brother Canada 5. During it, everything happens in reverse. The nominations are chosen by people voting for who they want to see on the block. The top two most voted players were put on the block. Then the Veto and Veto Ceremony happens. It ends with the Head of Household competition (for all those not on the block). The Head of Household picks who to send home.

This would be a more interesting twist because it doesn’t necessarily change the game mechanics. It just puts them in a strange order. This idea also fits with the time warp theme.

We cannot predict what will be the twist tonight. Every Big Brother fan should just prepare. As they say, “expect the unexpected.”

Eight votes on the board tonight for Big Brother 28 and that means it’ll take 5 to clear Dee’s potential tiebreaker. A day ago this situation was a lot more clear but today the waters are murky after Barrett rallied FAP, Yash, and Taylor to turn on one of their own and go after the Vets. Oh my, oh my.

With the Block Buster in the mix there are again three potential scenarios for the match-ups today with Drew, Mallory, and Taylor on the Block. One of them will escape by way of the Block Buster and then the other two will face off for the votes and that’s where things are suddenly getting interesting.

Earlier this week it seemed solid that Drew would stay no matter the pairing on the Block. He would have the Vets and FAP voting to keep him which is all he needed. That has changed and now Drew is the top pick to go this week. Crazy how fast things turn.

Drew versus Mallory: If Taylor wins the BBBB and it’s Drew versus Mallory then the votes are no longer there for Drew to stay. Yash, Taylor, LaLa, Melody, and Barrett will come together to override a potential Dee tiebreaker and send Drew out the door.

Barrett knows the Vets are going to be upset at him, but he’s tired of Drew refusing to see what the Vets are doing to them and always insisting on going back to them no matter what happens.

The question here becomes whether or not Yash gets his hopeful Blindside against the Vets or if they tip their hand in advance.

Drew versus Taylor: Same situation here if Mallory wins the Block Buster. Mallory will be swapped out for Taylor in the count of five above and Drew will be gone. Mallory and Melody are both prepared to vote out Drew instead of Taylor and you know that has to be tough for them, but they’re ready.

Late overnight Melody confided in Barrett and Mallory that yes, she could vote out her flirtmance (my words, not hers). Of course this is the easier decision for Melody, to keep Mallory over Drew, the real challenge for her was agreeing to send him out even over Taylor. But it’s time. And why? Because it takes away a perpetual number for the Vets by evicting Drew. FAP probably could have used that Jury vote, but then again would it have gone to the Vets anyways?

Taylor versus Mallory: This one is a bit tougher because the recent focus has been on the other two situations and I think Mallory is in trouble here. The Vets will still want Mallory gone and Drew will be in the voting block to help make it happen. Drew told the Vets last night that it’s hard on him to send Mallory out but he’ll do it to secure their support. And right there is Barrett’s issue yet again. If Drew gets off the Block then he should be able to vote how he wants, right?

Drew, Devens, Angela, and LaLa is all they need to force the tie for Dee to go against Taylor but Haley is now bound to the Vets too so that’ll be the fifth vote and Mallory is off to meet Julie out front.

So much could happen tonight and the wildcard remains that we just don’t know what this new “never before” twist will be when it’s introduced for tonight’s 1000th episode celebration. Will that completely tank this uprising against the Vets? It could! We just don’t know, but we’re going to be watching to find out what happens next!
