Another physical endurance competition tonight on Big Brother in the race for HOH. Read on for details......

Tonight's live show ended with another physical HOH competition...the houseguests had to untie ropes in their lane, across the yard. Brendon took the early lead and didn't let up.(Lane trailed in second, while Hayden third but still....they weren't close to Brendon).......he was pumped up after losing his 'soulmate' Rachel in the eviction. (by a vote of 6-0) Rachel first said she wasn't shocked at her eviction, but later in her conversation with Julie, admitted she was. Julie told her she may not have seen the last of the big brother house. Not sure what that means yet, but we should know soon.

Brendon is the new HOH........but Matt has the diamond power of veto. Should be a good week! (we hope....) As the new HOH, Brendon chose Matt, Britney and Ragan to be the three have nots for the week.

BB12 Spoilers: Nominations, POV, Pandora's Box, Saboteur......

It's a big week in the Big Brother house.....Ragan is in a comfortable position in that NO ONE in the house suspects that he would be the new saboteur. What else is going on? Read on..........

-As expected, the new HOH, Matt, put Brendon and Rachel on the block.
-Enzo and Hayden have been 'hanging out' with Brendon forming a 'fake alliance' to ensure him that he would stay and Rachel would go.
-Matt did open "Pandora's Box" .....not sure what was in it yet.
-Ragan did accept the option to be the new saboteur.
-The houseguests were notified last night that America had chosen a new one. Matt can't believe he wasn't chosen. Ragan has them all convinced that Rachel is this season's 'break out star' so some of them feel she was the one it could have been. Some, however, believe it could be Matt since he opened Pandora's Box. Enzo says surely America would support the "BOR_gade". (Love Enzo but this alliance is just.....blah.)
-The POV Players are Matt, Brendon, Rachel, Britney, Enzo, Kathy and Ragan. (Ragan is using his veto ticket he won last week)
-The POV competition is happening now....check back to see who won.

-POV Winner is Britney. Rachel is pouting and wondering if Brit will use it. Brendon says, 'should we ask?'.....Hayden asks them if they are ok. They say yes. Brendon says he wants to call a house meeting about the "Pandora's Box' situation. Hayden tells them if they need to talk, he's there. (Sounds like he's working for jury votes)

-Brendon is telling Rachel he has to call a house meeting to find out about Pandora's Box. Rachel is begging him not too......she saying they need to go out with class. She doesn't want him to push any buttons because she thinks he will stay in the game and do great.

-Britney tells Matt and Ragan that when she doesn't use the POV, that she will be thrown under the bus by Brendon/Rachel. They talk about Kathy beating out Rachel in the pov comp......(Rachel was complaining about that earlier)(Kathy knocked out Rachel, while Britney knocked out Brendon)

-Ragan says he feels recharged now.

--Rachel is BEGGING Britney to use the veto on her. Britney tells her she can not use the veto; it would hurt her own game. Rachel offers her the $5000 she won. Brit says no.

BB12 HOH Endurance Competition "True Colors" 8/5

Another Big Brother HOH endurance competition is underway. The comp, called "True Colors", has the big brother houseguests standing on the side of a huge paint can with "paint" being sprayed on them and a big brush hitting them as they spin round and round. Updates will be provided as soon as the live feeds return (about 20 minutes or so after the live show usually).

Kristen's boyfriend from home was interviewed tonight. He said he felt Kristen hadn't honored their relationship and as far as he was concerned it was over.
Meanwhile, Kristen gave a speech, saying she was loyal, honest and a 'stand up person'.

Kristen was evicted by a vote of 6-1.
Hayden told Kristen about his 'BOR-gade' alliance in his goodbye message.
The new saboteur (if Pandora's box is opened by the new HOH this week) is Ragan. (Close vote between Ragan and Enzo)

Kathy and Enzo are already out of the competition. Kathy dropped first, making her the one and only 'have not' for the week.

6:31 BBT: Brendon falls and is complaining that they are only doing endurance comps for people with small feet. He's pissed. Rachel tells him it's okay, but he will have to win the POV.

6:36 BBT: The other houseguests (Ragan, Brit, Hayden, Lane, Matt) still in the competition are having a blast it seems.

6:39BBT: Britney, Hayden and Lane are out.

6:41 BBT: Matt and Ragan are the last two standing. Matt says he's not going to fall.

Matt and Ragan continue to talk game just like the last HOH comp. Ragan wants to make sure he is safe. Wants to know who will go up if Brendon or Rachel win POV. They say probably Kathy. Ragan says he will play a little while longer. Matt says he can go until morning.

6:48 BBT: Ragan says he will have to drop soon.

6:59 BBT: Ragan tells them he has to jump off now. (hasn't yet....)

6:54 BBT: Ragan is out.

Matt is the new HOH. Rachel is walking around the backyard rolling her eyes. Should be an interesting week! (Hopefully........)

BB12 Andrew on The Early Show

The third big brother houseguest to be evicted from the bb house, Andrew Gordon, talks with Julie Chen on The Early Show. Andrew says he hopes the houseguests will appreciate his honesty in his exit speech, but Julie tells him she didn't get that impression from them when they cast their vote.

What would he do differently? He says he'd convince people to vote out Matt instead of Monet and he regrets his speech at the POV meeting. (where he said he was after Brendon and Rachel)

What does he think of Matt's lie about his wife? Andrew says people are going to do things in the game ; he suspected he was lying about 'something'......doesn't hold it against him.

Andrew also comes to tears when he talks about being afraid to tell his Dad about entering the big brother house. More in the interview below:

Tonight's live show ended with the big brother houseguests in their first endurance competition of the season. For HOH comp updates and a very brief recap of tonight's live show........keep reading!

By a vote of 7-2, Monet was evicted from the Big Brother house....she bolted out the door in tears, telling Julie Chen she'd said goodbye to Kathy and Britney earlier. Monet said she learned she's not as strong as she thought she was and is much more emotional than she knew.

HOH Endurance Competition Updates:

Live feeds are back---the competition is called "Hang Ten"--last person standing on their surfboard is the new HOH. The first five out of the competition will be the have's for the week.

Kathy is out....
Lane is out....
Kristen is out...

Enzo says he wants to eat this week, but he's still hanging in there.

Hayden goes out.....around 6:15BBT.

Britney goes out soon after Hayden.

6:20 BBT: Rachel cheers on her man, then compliments the other guys left in the competition...Enzo, Andrew, Ragan, and Matt.

6:22BBT--Ragan asks if he sounded like a pervert answering Julie's question to him during the live show.....they all laugh. (Julie asked him about being taped to the wall in the have/have not challenge---Ragan said it was a typical Fridany night for him.)

6:24BBT: Matt talks about his speech during the live show. He looks very comfortable in this competition so far.

6:30BBT: More rain falling on the last five houseguests standing....Brendon checks out his competition:

Andrew is hanging right in there:

6:35BBT: Brendon, Enzo, Andrew, Ragan and Matt all still in the competition. Matt, Ragan and Andrew have their backs against the wall, while Enzo and Brendon are sidesteppin' it.

6:40BBT: Enzo is out...says he lost concentration and slipped.

Ragan talks about still being in the competition. Along with him are Matt, Andrew and Brendon.
Britney tells Ragan the ends of the boards are very slippery...

6:45BBT: All still hanging.....oh, nope...Brendon just fell.

Ragan (first tells Brendon good job as he has everyone who has fallen) tells Matt and Andrew he is honored to still be in the competition with them.

6:47BBT: Andrew, Ragan and Matt last three standing. The other houseguests tell them to focus. Matt says he needs to talk.

6:49BBT: Cue the rain...

6:51BBT: Ragan tells Andrew that he is not going on the block if he wins HOH. Andrew promises the same thing to Ragan. Matt says 'you're talking game and leaving me out of it?".....Ragan tells him to jump in anytime, then tells him the same goes for him. (he won't put Matt up.....if he wins. Matt tells Ragan he isn't on his radar either)

No deals between Matt and Andrew at this point.

6:57BBT: Ragan sends a love ya shout out to his Mom and sister...Matt tells his family to find something better to do if they are watching him.

7:02BBT: All three still standing....boards running in and out of wall; no rain.

7:05BBT: Rain starts...

7:10BBT: The three are talking about how good they are at this competition....but wish they were good at something else.

7:17BBT: Andrew, Ragan and Matt still in it......Andrew is struggling the most. Matt just looks not at all thrilled or in any pain at all.

7:25BBT: Same! No change! Small talk between Ragan and Matt about what they will be doing tomorrow.

7:28BBT: Andrew is out....and very disappointed.

Game talk with Ragan and Matt----trying to decide what's best for them. Matt says he would put up Kathy and Brendon......with Kathy being the target. Ragan is worried about jumping off and Rachel being upset with him. (Says he doesn't care about what Brendon thinks)......Ragan wants to bring out Rachel and Brendon and talk about it. Ragan says his concern is they would be gunning for him if he jumps off now. They continue to talk................

Matt says what if we put up Kathy and Andrew. Ragan wants to think it through.

Bottom line....they both want to keep Brendon and Rachel in the game right now. Kathy is the target. (note: hmm, well....we'll see....Matt will tell us who is real target is when he's in the DR and I find it hard to believe it's truly Kathy) He says if the POV used, he will put up Brendon or Rachel.

7:38BBT: Ragan says he will jump down and give it to Matt. Matt says he could do this all night if he wants to play it out.
They decide not to bring anyone out to talk at the moment and will talk to them all later.
Ragan says let's play for fifteen or twenty more minutes so that it doesn't look suspicious to anyone when he (Ragan) jumps down. Matt says he can go for fifteen more hours.

7:51BBT: Matt and Ragan still there.......

7:58BBT: They make it through the last rain cycle; Ragan says there is now a water shortage in California.

BB12 Houseguest Annie on The Early Show: Exit Interview

The first houseguest to be evicted from Big Brother 12, Annie Whittington, talked with Julie Chen on The Early Show about her time in the house....some highlight include:

About relationships: If she were single, she would have allowed Brendon to 'think' they were in a showmance together.
Was she falling for him in the house? No, 'it was all gameplay...Brendon was my best friend in the house.'
She does feel she would still be in the house if she had just let 'him have his way.'

The talk she had with Ragan about having a girlfriend...was it genuine or gameplay? Annie says 100% heart to heart......

On being the saboteur: She enjoyed it but it was tricky at times, she says. Most especially putting the tape on the memory wall photos, which she said she did in phases by hiding the tape under her clothes and although she ran into Brendon during the black out in the house, while putting the padlock on the food door....no one every suspected she was gone.

What's happening in the big brother house since the live show? Details just ahead:

Highlights from tonight's live feeds: (post live show)

The new HOH, Miss Rachel, is more than thrilled with her new power but no more so than Brendon.
Brendon tells Rachel he thinks America is rooting for them.

Britney and Monet are angry with themselves for not winning the HOH.

Britney jumps all over Andrew for being excited for Rachel's HOH win.

Andrew jumps back and takes up for himself saying he was just being truthful about how he felt.

Andrew tells Britney that he wouldn't feel as safe if she had won HOH.
Ragan felt bad about voting out Annie.He's worried she's angry with him.
Matt's a little worried he will be nominated and trying to get a feel for Rachel/Brendon's thoughts.
Rachel has talked about putting up Monet and Britney, but taking a break from thinking about it.

Rachel's HOH Room:

Rachel gets the key to her HOH room, as well as the treats she asked for including a bottle of tequila.(that's why she's jumping up and down in the picture above) She reads her letter from home to everyone....Britney and Monet look less than thrilled to be there, but that doesn't bother Rachel.

The guys head down to see if big brother has given them alcohol. (and they have)
Kathy stays to talk with Rachel in the HOH room---Kathy tells her she's proud of her and encourages her to make good decisions. Rachel tells Kathy she would never put her up--even as a pawn. Kathy says she hopes not.
Rachel tells Kathy she will have to move the picture of her mom in the bathroom when Brendon's up there with her.

CBS Big Brother 12 Live Blog: Eviction, Saboteur Identity, HOH Competition

Big big night for Big Brother fans with the first live eviction, the Saboteur reveal AND a new HOH will be crowned, which always send the big brother house into a tailspin. And it needs it......the first week is always sooooooo long in there and everyone kind of settles down, but once the power has shifted to someone new (and hopefully someone who's ready to stir up the house)........everything changes.

The big brother 12 live blog for tonight's episode is just ahead......

Highlights from tonight's Big Brother 12 episode: (7/15)

Cue Julie and the BB music!

Day 13 inside the big brother house brings alliances and showmances...
Nominees: Rachel and Annie

Recap of the veto ceremony.....post veto talk:
Britney says Annie is a total psychopath after her comment to her at the ceremony. Hayden says it's time for Annie to go. Brendon tells Rachel she's ok, to lay low and she will be fine. Annie thinks Britney is the one responsible for her going on the block. (but we know it was Enzo and Matt)

Annie walks by and tells Rachel to have fun next week. She then lashes out at Brendon because she feels he's protecting Rachel and not her. Later, she goes and tries to make it up to him.

Matt says, 'the brigrade is running the house....' (his confidence is overbearing......)

Annie starts to cry and says she's embarrassed....Hayden says it hurts him to see her cry in his DR session.

Next scene: Make out session with Hayden and Rachel. In the middle of making out, he starts talking about how he feels bad for Annie, which doesn't go over well with Rachel.

Back to Julie...she tells us that America's prime suspect in the saboteur's identity is Kathy. Is America right?

The Saboteur is.........Annie! (oh shoot......she's most likely leaving tonight)

Annie intro's herself as the saboteur...she shows us what she's been doing:

Padlocked the food door......(had troble getting back into the living room....ran into another houseguest)
A viewer wanted the houseguests photos taped....
Another viewer wanted the beeping device put in the house...

Back to the house recap: the saboteur shows up and says, "Hayden, nice try, I escaped the block this week." (which sent the houseguests into a bit of a frenzy)

Julie talks to the houseguests:
To Enzo....Julie asks him about slop....he says he wants nothing to do with it.
Julie shows them some clips from the food competition.

To Brendon: Julie asks him about the showmance with Rachel; what attracts him? He says she's intelligent, smart and funny, but can't quite hair all that well.

To Andrew: Julie asks which message from the saboteur surprised you the most? He says the one about two houseguests having a life long connection.

Julie tells Annie and Rachel to plead their case:
Annie says, "Uhm, I want to thank everybody, I've had an amazing time, thrilled that I've met you, and glad you came into mine. As far as gameplay goes, she has one ingredient that I don't have....that's Brendon. She's smart, strong....but he will take her to the end of this game just like Jeff did with Jordan. He has lied to me, making deals with others..lied about his occupation to all of you, he's the strongest competitor in the house.......please, don't think you can get him out later. You're giving the strongest person in the house power by keeping his ally."

Rachel..."I love you guys, it's been great........getting to know everyone. I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else. I know you'll make the right decision."

Annie says she thinks she's there because she played too hard and put a target on her back. Julie asks her why she stood by Brendon and Rachel when they were nominated....Annie says she trusted Brendon.
She asks her why she thinks she didn't get a vote....

Annie is told by Julie that Kathy was America's suspect as the saboteur....she's surprised. Julie tells her she was one of the houseguests that received the fewest votes from America.

Who does Annie think is the strongest houseguest at the moment? Brendon, she says.....because he convinced all of them to keep Rachel. He will go far, she says.

Good bye messages....
Hayden....'you caused alot of drama, you have a bad temper."
Britney tells her that those flats have to go as well as the silver eye shadow. (meooowwww! Miss Britney!)
Ragan..."annie, annie...you're very charming, your get along very well with people...I think you could be the saboteur"
Brendon..."I think we'll be friends outside the house"
Rachel....(obviously heavily edited)....says, "I'm so happy to see you leave, you tried to come in between me and Brendon....like he would ever pick you over me, pluuuueeeze!"

(The crowd cheers for Annie.....as she responds to Rachel's comments....she says Rachel got her sloppy seconds, since Brendon came onto her first)

BB12 Hayden's HOH Blog plus the latest in the house....7/15

After last night's cbs big brother 12 episode, we saw Annie put on the block as Brendon's replacement. Annie did her best last night on the live feeds to talk her way into staying in the game, but things still aren't looking good for her. She went to HOH Hayden, who told her he was sure she had some votes....which gave her just enough hope to start thinking she would be staying. She went from houseguest to houseguest telling them she that this week had been good for her and she was now ready to get in there and play the game. Britney wondered aloud to Monet why she thought she was staying, but decided Hayden must just be letting her think she was to shut her up basically.

The bedrooms were installed with various beeping noises last night....supposedly by the saboteur.

The bb12 houseguests were given giant golf clubs and golf balls to practice for an upcoming competition. (POV probably)

Brendon and Rachel continue their showmance and continue to get closer....although right now, Rachel seems much more into him than he is her. (just saying........we'll see, although he did ask her on a first date when they get out of the house.)

Hayden and Kristen continue their late night talks......comparing notes on other houseguests. (Hayden talks about his alliance with Kristen in his blog below)

Hayden talked about being ready to give up the HOH room....and join everyone back downstairs. In his HOH blog, he wrote:

"What's up America,

-----Life in the Big Brother house is CRAZY!! We have been here less than two weeks and the twists and turns just keep coming. By now, you all know of the Saboteur, and the life long friends who Im sure are trying to turn the house upside down. As far as the Saboteur goes, in the beginning the entire house was convinced it was Andrew. Now, opinions are starting to change. A few of us, including myself are thinking that Andrew is way too obvious of a choice. At this point we all know to expect the unexpected, and because all signs point to Andrew that might be an indication that he is not the Saboteur. My instincts have told me it might be Annie, and thats part of the reason why she is on the block, but its impossible to be certain. Hopefully in the coming week we'll get some concrete evidence and be able to pin down the Saboteur.

The life long friend situation has created an uneasy feeling in the house!!! Just as I started to feel comfortable around the Brigade (my alliance) this twist was thrown at us. I feel like a life long friendship is bond that not even Big Brother can break. In this house trusting somebody could be the key to $500,000, and the life long friends have a huge advantage. I cant trust anybody. I feel like its me against the house, and i don't think Im the only one who feels this way.

I will say, we have some real characters in the house. Each house guest has something unique about them, and thats why we are all here. Enzo might be the funniest dude on the planet, and its impossible to understand what is going on inside his head! Even though he is part of the Brigade, that alone makes him dangerous.

Of all the people in the house i get the worst vibes from Brittany. When she looks at me with her big cold eyes, I feel like the wheels in her head are spinning, and she will do ANYTHING for the money. We haven't reached the first eviction ceremony so I am still trying the best i can to get to know some of the other houseguest.

Kristin and I have formed a sub alliance, and Im starting to trust her. She seems like an unbelievable girl, but she is so mysterious. Trusting her could be a bad thing, but maybe its the smartest thing I've done in the house so far. Overall this experience has been incredible, and I feel blessed just to be a part of BB!!! I want to say hi to all my family back home, i miss you, and i love you. Thanks Mom for sending some goodies. Until next time.

The first night of live feeds didn't fail to deliver on the typical big brother house drama. There's already a showmance, one houseguest that no one likes at all, the typical self confident alliance that is already making plans for way down the road in the game--they've got this thing in the bag, ya know. (Have these people seen this show? hmmmmmm....) For all the latest live feed info and spoilers..........read on!

BB12 Spoilers ahead:

Who did HOH Hayden nominate? Rachel and Brendon

Who are the POV players this week? Hayden (HOH), Rachel and Brendon, (nominees), Andrew, Enzo and Monet (apparently Rachel pulled Monet's name and didn't hide her disgust or disappointment, which has Annie, Britney and some others talking)

Who has aligned in the house? Enzo, Hayden, Matt and Lane are making plans for who will be evicted when.

Who do the houseguests think is the saboteur? They all seem to believe it is Andrew. Britney said 'he makes it very obvious'.....even if he isn't the saboteur, none of them like him and are alienating him. Andrew tried to talk to Enzo about it, but Enzo only told him if he wanted to stay he should win HOH next week. Andrew's closest friend is Brendon. Some wonder if Andrew would take him off the block if Andrew won the POV. Kathy told Andrew he shouldn't change the nominations.

Enzo swears if he wins POV he will not change the nominations...the HOH should be respected, he says.
Kathy calls them all 'family'....Annie agrees, they say there's no reason to be rude to each other. Kathy calls them all 'her kids'.
Annie is the one who can't keep her mouth shut.....she doesn't stop talking, ever. (which only makes for more great bb drama in the end)
Lane is much more flirtacious than you've seen on tv just yet....
Hayden is staying in the HOH room alot, which will haunt him next week, if history repeats itself.

First showmance of the bb12 season: That would be your nominees....Rachel and Brendon. They aren't hiding it....Britney's not liking it for some reason, but then again, she's not too fond of Rachel at the moment.

Random notes: Everybody loves Hayden, Kathy's arm is bruised horribly from the HOH competition and the luxury comp. She's not been feeling well.

Pre-pov game play: (this Friday morning) Everyone's trying to talk to Hayden. Brendon's trying to get Hayden to use the POV on him if he wins, telling him he will keep him safe the next few weeks. Monet shows up to talk to the HOH, wondering if she will be the replacement if someone comes off the block. Hayden tells her no. Brendon tells Annie that Hayden just wants all the good looking guys out of the house.

POV competition should be today....check back to see who wins and how that will affect the game as it is now.

POV Winner: Brendon was the winner of the first POV competition. He will no doubt take himself off of the block and this will stir things up big time in the house. Brendon was the target this week...the one they absolutey did not want to win POV.....and just as big brother promises; expect the unexpected. Ya just can't make plans in there! POV meeting will be in a couple of days so there's plenty of time for deals to be made.

POV meeting: Brendon uses the POV to take himself off the block. Hayden put Annie on the block as the replacement. New nominees: Annie and Rachel. Annie appears to be the target at this point but she won't go without a fight.......stay tuned.

Saboteur antics: The saboteur told the houseguests that two of the people in the house are lifelong friends.

"It's a house like no other....." says Julie Chen and we're off with the premiere of Big Brother 12! This season will feature a new twist involving a saboteur. The saboteur will be interfering with the other houseguests and their games. Think you know who the saboteur is after watching tonight's premiere? I'm leaning towards Matt at the moment, but still hoping it's a female. Highlights from tonight's episode after the jump, including the first HOH of the season:

Tonight's premiere highlights; possible bb12 spoilers ahead:

Houseguests get their keys:
Andrew says he will not compromise his religion in the game.
Britney's a small town gal, ready for the big city.
Hayden says girls love him and that will take him far in the game.
Rachel says most people think she's just a hot girl with big boobs...she's gonna prove them wrong.
Kathy, a deputy sheriff for eight years, is ready to take on the other houseguests.
Monet says she hopes the other houseguests are "up to her standards".
Matt says he is a genius, member of mensa and smarter than everyone else in the house.
Annie knows the game inside out and will do whatever it takes to win...saying being bisexual will help her.
Lane is ready to get his hands dirty.
Enzo says his strategy is 'none of your freakin' business'.
Brendon, the swim coach, is used to high school drama so doesn't expect to be surprised by it in the house.
Kristen describes herself as fun and smart.
Ragan is ready to lie and backstab.

Houseguests arrive at the big brother house....
First group to enter: Britney, Ragan, Brendon and Rachel
Second group: Lane, Annie, Enzo, Kathy and Andrew
Third group: Monet, Hayden, Kristen and Matt

The houseguests introduce themselves around the couch as usual. Monet thinks Rachel is ditzy, Enzo is liking her. Ragan says he would love to form an alliance with Brendon. Kristen and Hayden are both attracted to each other. (they admit in the diary rooms) No one can believe Kathy is forty. Rachel is drawn to Andrew. Andrew doesn't tell anyone he's a doctor.

Julie informs the houseguests of the twist: The Saboteur

Julie announces that someone in the house is not there to win the game, but to wreak havoc on everyone else and the house. The saboteur can win HOH and veto, but their goal is to make it to the half way point of the game. If the saboteur makes it until the fifth week, he or she will win $50,000. If they are evicted before that time, they win nothing.

The saboteur then comes onto the living room screen, disguised and talks to the houseguests telling them that any plan they may have had coming into the game is now turned upside down. "Watch your backs"

Houseguest Reactions to the twist:
Enzo..."Some type of a rat in here...I hate rats."
Ragan..."I did not see that coming"
Rachel...."This changes my strategy.....and you can't even have a showmance, because you don't know who the saboteur is"

HOH competition:
Houseguests divide into teams...red and yellow.
Andrew volunteers to be the mascot. (which makes the teams even) He's later told he will be safe this week.
Yellow team members: Kathy, Annie, Rachel, Ragan, Enzo, Brendon
Red team members: Monet, Lane, Kristen, Britney, Matt, Hayden

The teams have to cross a giant grill by jumping onto a giant hot dog (being sprayed with ketchup and mustard) and riding it across the grill. All six team members must get across to win the prizes. First winning team member to arrive will win $10,000, next $1,000, next $100...last winning team member to arrive will be the first HOH.

While the competition was fairly close for awhile, Britney (yellow team) was hurt in the middle of the competition and taken out of the game. She was replaced by Kristen, who had already completed her first ride with few problems and did it again. Matt and Hayden followed. Hayden is the first HOH. (Monet was the first one to arrive winning the $10,000).

Saboteur strikes: The saboteur makes his first move in the game...the lights go out in the house. A padlock is put on the food storage closet, leaving plenty of slop in the kitchen.

Strategy for winning Big Brother: Don't rock the boat until I have to. Float until war is declared and the floaters align with strong players who are perceived to be bigger threats. Form a secret alliance about two weeks into the game. Don't win too many competitions but don't obviously throw them.

What types of people would you NOT choose to live with you in the house: Homophobes, 18-23 year-olds (the ages of students I teach), ultra conservatives

Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most or least: Most: Janelle, because what you saw is what you got. Least: Boogie. White rappers are too much of a paradox for me. And Chima, she was a poor sport and bad game player.
