• Reasons to Watch Scientific American Frontiers: The Secret Canyon:
  • The Freemont indians had a fascinating culture and this educational documentary gives us a glimpse into some of their more extreme habits – like building their homes on the edges of cliffs! .
  • The archaeology part was interesting, but just as fascinating was the part about how this land remained so untouched for such a long period of time.
  • If you are an archaeology or history buff then you will probably really enjoy this show.
• Reasons to Stay Away from Scientific American Frontiers: The Secret Canyon:
  • While I found this episode to be extremely interesting, I realize that it may not be everyones’ cup of tea. If archaeology and indian history doesn’t interest you then you may want to skip this one.

• Reasons to Watch We Shall Remain:
  • First and foremost is the history lesson that you will receive. This series strives to accurately portray the view of both sides and takes great pains to present historically factual information.
  • The use of real Native Americans was refreshing – none of the crappy sterotypes, just real Native Americans speaking real Native American languages.
  • The stories told in it are inspiring, monumental and just plain cool. This is must-see TV for any U.S. history buff.
• Reasons to Stay Away from We Shall Remain:
  • This series tells it like it is! If you don’t like hearing that early U.S. leaders and Native Americans made some big mistakes then maybe you should skip this series.
  • Hearing about some of these stories is depressing. It really makes you wonder what would have happened if things had turned out differently

• Reasons to Watch Medium:
  • Allison’s creative crime solving abilities are totally fun to watch.
  • The interplay between Allison and her husband (played by Jake Weber) is excellent. I often find myself laughing out loud at their hilarious conversations!
  • The district attorney (played by the excellent Miguel Sandoval) and his office provide a very cool setting for Allison to put her unique talents to use.
• Reasons to Stay Away from Medium:
  • If you are looking for a family show to watch with your kids this probably isn’t it given the sometimes graphic nature of the series.

The Office is a comedy TV series that currently airs Thursday nights on NBC. It depicts the lives of office employees in the Scranton, PA branch of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. Although fictional and scripted, the presence of a “reality TV” style camera is openly acknowledged by the characters, and gives the show a “mock-umentary” type of feel.

• Reasons to Watch The Office:
  • Very funny! The quirky and real-life humor in this show will not only make you laugh out loud, but will also make you nod your head while saying “Yes – that is so true!”
  • The episodes are short and easy to watch – which makes for a great lunchtime activity.
  • Michael, Dwight, Pam and the rest of the crew are totally awesome characters. I can guarantee they will remind you of someone you know!
• Reasons to Stay Away from The Office:
  • If you are looking for a family show to watch with your kids well, this probably isn’t a good choice given that it is aimed toward adult viewers.
  • Like other comedy shows, this one makes fun of race, religion and sex. Stay away if that kind of stuff offends you.
  • If you are trying to make your way through several other TV shows right now, then wait before you start this one because it will suck up all your time for sure!
