Customer Review: Another great floor puzzle!
Melissa and Doug floor puzzles are very popular in our household. This particular puzzle, on the heels of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” trilogy, is one of their favorites.

We have two children, both younger than 6-years old, and highly recommend this puzzle for kids of the same age. The pieces are easy for young children to handle and the puzzle is very durable after repeated uses.

Customer Review: disappointing
This truck looked like so much fun, but we’re really disappointed. The pieces of the truck do not stay together, whether set up as a race track, or in truck form. It’s very frustrating for me, let alone my son. I’m about to throw the whole thing away.
Customer Review: Fun, but hard to put back together!
This was a Christmas gift for our 7 year old. He played with it a lot at first, but doesn’t seem to get it out much anymore. We wish it was built a little sturdier. It doesn’t seem to latch together very easily when you try to put it all away. But when he does get it all out, he plays with it for a long time and has a lot of fun!

Customer Review: High Quality Puzzle
Their puzzles are awesome…the pieces go together well and they have a good finish on them and are very durable. My 3 and 5-year olds haven’t been able to destroy them under constant use!

I do wish Melissa & Doug had a better policy for lost pieces though. It seems wasteful that you have to toss a puzzle after losing just one piece. I was told that pieces don’t always fit 100% which is why they don’t supply them, but kids wouldn’t care - - they are so bummed they lost a piece to one of their puzzles!

Not a lot more to be said than that . . . Just loads of fun, especially if you are a huge Star Wars fan!
Customer Review: Disappointing design flaw.
The problem with this lightsaber wasn’t the spring action: that was actually pretty strong. And it was also pretty bright. And the sounds were good. The problem, which we found in both of the ones we bought and returned to Target, was that the blade would not stay out. There is not enough friction between the blade and the black piece where the blade extends from. I think it’s due to the kind of plastic used in the blade. So, when you extend out the blade, and it’s glowing and humming, and you’re ready for the attack, a couple of waves of the blade results in the entire blade falling back into the handle. Not the telescoped part, that’s fine. Just the friction fit part between the biggest blade segment and the handle. This is strange, since it doesn’t happen with the Obi-wan one (blue) and the green spring-action lightsabers. The best way to see this problem is to extend the blade as much as possible, hold it vertically, then give the handle very small shakes back and forth. The blade will work itself loose and fall back onto the spring in the handle. Curse Hasbro’s Darth Vader Spring-Action Lightsaber! As for the other ones in the series: way to go!

Mattel Barbie Mermaid with Angel Fish Purple Customer Review: A Fantasy Barbie Mermaid for Bathtime Fun….
This is a truly beautiful Barbie doll. I was never into dolls when I was younger (and of course they didn’t have Princess, Mermaid or Fairy Barbies in the 80s that I knew of… or I would have wanted them!) but my two daughters saw these in the store and had to have them. We bought the Aqua one with the dolphin and the Purple doll with the Seahorse.

They are glittery on their tails, which thankfully doesn’t come off so you don’t end up coated in glitter. The hair seems very realistic and is soft and fluffy. The doll came with a large brush for her hair and also a little ring to clip the sea animal to her tail. Neither of my daughters wanted to use this option but DID love to play with the cute sea animals as much (or moreso) than the dolls! If you squeeze her hips, you can feel a round “button” underneath and pressing on both sides will cause her tail to move. This is so she seems to be “swimming” underwater. They don’t dry out that fast, but seem to be fairly sturdy and each doll is unique with their own details and “clothing” and “accessories” variations.

Very pretty, and can be included in bathtime fun as well. No complaints here…

Bought the cottage for my daughter for her 2nd birthday and she and her 3 1/2 year old brother absolutely love it! They have other tents and playhouses that they like but this one is just so cute and they can get in and out no problem, I think it is a little pricey but so far I think it is worth the price it seems like it will hold up. It wasn’t that hard to put together maybe it took 30 minutes for my husband and I together.

I am deeply disapointed in your pricing level on the rose petal washer and sink. Don’t you think 80 dollars for 4 pieces of press board and a plastic top is a bit extreme? I have also watched you raise the price of this item all week. Just so you know we bought the crib and changing table at Walmart for $21, not really what it was worth but a lot closer to reality. I shop at Amazon to get bargains and I have learned thru this experiance that your more in the habit of gouging consumers and manipulating prices, rather than saving them money. We love the Melissa and Doug Large Knob puzzles. They are very easy for a one year old to play with. She loved this puzzle as soon as we look it out of the box. The fun thing about this puzzle is we can talk about animals while she is also working on fine motor skills. If you have found other puzzles hard for your child - try one of the large knob puzzles. They are great starter puzzles and much less frustrating for little hands.

The description of this puzzle says, “solid wood” It’s not! It’s 2 layers of composite board glued to plywood. The fibers easily scrape off along the edges and can be ingested by your child. The pictures are a laminate overlay that can easily be peeled off. Not a great puzzle if you child is still putting toys in his or her mouth.
