When I put this design together I never knew it would be put on some of these great Inspirational sites or featured on online magazines! Wow, the Lord is good!

NEW PROJECTS UPDATE!

I wanted to let all know about some of the latest projects I am working on that will be launching very soon. I have been working tirelessly on a full range services website for HomeMakers A+ Care based in the Chicagoland area. It is a company that provides services to Senior citizens. The other project is a two-fold ordeal. I am building a personal website for Tom Morrissey, future University of Toledo Law student and political activist in the Toledo, OH area. I am also building his wife’s personal website where she can display her art and sell it to potential buyers.

So these sites will be launched within this week or in two weeks so stay tuned.

As I start to dabble more and more within print design I am beginning to find some great print inspiration online. So within that spirit of finding I have compiled a little list of some pieces of work that I find very inspirational. I have just completed the design, development, and deployment of JoshuaCoxOnline.com for Joshua Cox. It is his personal blog. He was (and is still using) Blogger as his blog/CMS of choice, but after he got to test drive Wordpress he wanted his own personal web space to write about what interests him… and his readers. I hope everyone stops by his blog and throw him a couple comments whenever you all get a chance!

If you follow me on Twitter then you have probably noticed that this site (my little personal webspace) has been put on a list with 98 other websites as “Websites for Your Inspiration“. I find this very humbling and am humbled that someone finds my site as inspiring. I looked through the list and see alot of famous and awesome designers’ websites. To be put on a list with so many excellent talent is very special to me. So I just want to say thank you SHAREBRAIN for including me on this list. It is really awesome!

I want to also say that I do not condone the use of one word for the title of this list. I have been getting alot of feedback on that. My standards and convictions have not changed on this topic, but also note that this list is compiled outside of me, so relax… I am just honored to be on the list.

I find myself putting my foot in my mouth or making myself a complete idiot, and then feeling dumb and hurt, even though it is completely my fault. THE BEST WORDPRESS DESIGN AWARD ENTRANCE

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am entering into the Best WordPress Design Award over at wpwebhost.com. I am entering into the the catagory of “Best Clean & Minimalist Design”. It is going to be interesting to see if I even rank, but I am hopeful.

SO IT TAKES A 14 YEAR OLD?

I am sure many people have a different view on what Conservatism is. Some people view it as the hope for America, others view it as an ideology that desipises the good of all mankind. Personally I view it as the closest ideology toward my own. Conservatism and Christianity run parrallel so therefore I walk on that line of the Right, but one thing that distresses me is the “direction” of the movement. Why do you say? interesting you should ask.

A young boy by the name of Jonathan Krohn addressed the Conservative Political Action Conference on February, 27, 2009. He gave his speech about the reasons for writing his book on defining Conservatism. Didn’t we already do this a hundred times? I think it is shameful that we put a young boy up at the pulpit having to define what we already know. I mean c’mon he is a boy! It makes us look like we are half brained! I see that we are trying to show we have won over a somewhat younger generation, but seriously. Why do we have to do that? Why can’t we just run our campaigns on these principals that have been defined for generations, but somehow we forget once an election rolls around? Wake up conservatives!

Yesterday I had a welcoming bit of news. My personal site (the one you are reading now) is featured over at NiceStyleSheets.com and not only that but is currently #2 within their Top 10 Designs. Not sure how that works, but is nice that somebody likes this site.

The next bit of news is that the University of Toledo Army ROTC site has been featured in one of my favorite inspirational sites WeLoveWP.com. This site is completely dedicated to websites powered in Wordpress, which the UT ROTC site is. Awesome news if you ask me!

I want to thank NiceStyleSheets.com and WeLoveWP.com for featuring some of my designs, and for also providing a comprehensive list of inspiration to draw from. Thanks!
