So I've wanted to try this for a while but never got around to it...til now! I'm going to offer a piece of art for sale on facebook. I will show it off and give it a "starting price" and let the bidding begin. I will leave the piece "up" for 24 hours and the top bidder wins. Don't know if it will work...and I'm not a huge fan of auction sites, so bare with me.

Commission of Betty Boop as a cow...Betty Moop? this was lots of fun to draw and I love getting commission of unconventional characters or mash-ups.

This adorable Jawa doodle was a commission from a fan/friend who dresses as a Jawa for the Star Wars costuming group. She asked for a Christmas card with a Jawa and Santa's sleigh and some droids...this little piece of amazing is what I came up with. Ho Ho Ho-tini! hehehe

Updates, news and other fun stuff

It has been weeks since I've updated my website...so much going on and never ever enough time to share it all.

First off, I've had a busy con season this year and hope to be even busier next year. While I was at Mid-Ohio Con in October a really nice guy John Wroblewski, asked to do an interview with me...and here it is! Next, I've become addicted to crocheting adorable little yarn plushies. Mostly Star Wars characters but I will be making Super Heroes and others soon. I've been an avid crocheter and knitter all my life and usually make my own patterns so I'm considering creating a pattern book!

Along that same theme, I've also created some Knitted Sketch Cards that I hope will become a fun addititon to collectors. I will post photos soon...they are adorable!

And on the drawing side of life, I'm doing more Star Wars work! yippie! that always makes me happy. I'm doing some more sketch cards for topps Star Wars Galaxy 7 and can't wait to get started on them! I have so many fun and cute ideas for this years set!

Lastly, I will be *finally* setting up my online shop to sell original art, prints, hand made crafts and sewn crafts... just in time for the holidays!

Today's doodle is brought to you by the power of LOVE! And I've titled this piece "and They Lived Happily Ever After" If you are a Doctor Who fan, you know these too critters would never ever be BFF, but in my world (which was blown up in this scenario...) they would hang out together, eat pizza, pick daisies, sing, dance...pretty much be awesomely happy.

And to further the feeling of LOVE, there is an auction going on to help raise money to help friend and sketch card promoter extraordinaire Paul Bines "UKCardCast" come to the Philly Non-Sport Card Show October 22-23, 2011. This adorkable little doodle is up for auction to help out the cause so if you're interested here are the details:

If you know me, you know what's been going on in my personal life over the past year and a half (whispers...divorce...). I'm a pushover, a rug, a chump, a sucker...but sometimes you just have to say "Don't piss me off!" So as part of my new positive outlook on life...here I am as Hulk. Not taking any more crap!

After a few very busy months, I'm finally ready to take on some commissions and get back to some serious doodling! There have been some exciting things happening with my art and crafts and I've decided to open an internet shop (Coming Soon) where I can sell directly to my fans! I will be slowly posting Artist Proofs, Original Art, Limitied Edition Prints, Sketch Cards, Mini Clay Crafts, Stuffed Critters, Knit Crafts, Paper Products (scrapbooking papers, greeting cards, stickers, etc...) and Jewelry. See I told you I've been busy! And for all your knit/crochet fans, I may start selling patterns for my knit and crochet products!

So if you're interested in a commission...here's the deal:

Full color sketch cards (one or more characters) $20

5x7 full color bust or pinup (one character) $30

6x6 full color cartoon (anything goes) $30

8x10 full color pinup (one character) $50

*additional prices added for larger pieces needing more characters or backgrounds

*shipping and handling charges $2-USA, $5-International

These prices are good through October 2011
