BasicGov introduces Mobile App for IPAD

Vancouver, BC - (Marketwire - Jan 31, 2012) – BasicGov System Inc, the only provider of true cloud and web software for local government announced the availability of an ipad application for use by remote field staff.

BasicGov provides web based and mobile solutions and functionality for licensing, code enforcement, permitting, planning and compliance and remediation activities. Inspections and other task related to inspections, such as checklists, are available across all applications.

With the ipad application, mobile staff can access important information related to the days activity from anywhere, at any time. Staff can access this information through the application downloaded from the App Store, or via a browser on any tablet, which means Android users can also access the system.

Virtually all the functionality available via the web-based software is available in the ipad and the current version of the IPAD application is available at no extra cost to government. The application will allow field staff to access information related to an inspection such as checklists, owner contact information, address and will even allow mapping information to be pulled into the IPAD. Staff using the app can access documents, change the status of any field, and record or read comments.
