That website also keeps with the Music 2.0 trend by having a blog in which the band chronicles the source of their inspiration for songs, even posting original, rough sketches (something that we’ve never felt able to do for fear of sheer embarassment).
The Minor Kings are a melodic-rock band from Nashville, TN, that is independently and locally produced. They believe that music is a service and its purpose is to be heard.

Personally, their sound reminds me of a cross between Oasis and Audioslave. They’ve got the catchiness of Oasis, along with the more grunge rock guitar sound of Audioslave. Unlike a lot of today’s bands, it appears that great care has been taken in producing a mix where the lead vocals cut right through to the front - a feature that I’ve come to appreciate as being actually quite difficult to achieve.

Without further ado, we give you The Minor Kings - Red Flags (Green Lights). Hope you enjoy!
