Blaze now steps into the producer role head on releasing his debut single with On Lock Records x Happy Parrot Records "New Wave" teaming up with GBMNutron and Skorch Bun It. New Wave is a blend of authentic caribbean sounds mixed with electric production to create a blend known as Caribbean Dance Music(CDM) and is sure to be a summer party anthem.

First Off I am a Rapper who have been at it for about 10 years. I have released numerous mixtapes and recent put out an album "Diary Of A Mad Man", which is available everywhere digitally. I pride myself in lyrics and story telling but am also open to create all kinds of music. I have performed all over New York and opened up for Fred Da Godson.

Who Produces your music?

I produce everything that I do, I am also the in-house producer for my group "The Street Officials". I produced "Road To Perdition" for Ransom on his "Pain And Glory" Album along with various up and coming artist.

Thats exactly what happened when Matt Bloyd chose to cover Sam Smith's new song "Too Good At Goodbyes" it feels a lot warmer then the original that haunts us when Sam sings it. We love how Matt put his own twist on it and showed off that killer range that made us a fan from the first day we heard him.

I am a huge fan of Sam Smith's voice and his artistry. After a two year hiatus, Sam is back with "Too Good at Goodbyes" and I could not be more excited. He's truly an inspiration. When I heard this song I KNEW I had to cover it and got right on it. Hope you love my take on this JAM.

Bam Commentary: We at bvm LOVE the video and the song..It's refreshing to see an artist do his own thing in this industry. It also dope to see him mature as an artist with what he chooses to sing about now.. When we first heard JG on Cherry Bomb we put him as a pop artist but after really doing our homework we aren't sure what he can't sing now lol..Perfect Example is he can make you dance with tracks like Cherry Bomb, Loco, kiss you up, and then tug at your heart strings with songs like Survive You, Bottom Of The Ocean. We think this mixture will work in making JG a fan favorite for those of you who aren't fans already.
