Little Monkey Get Well Soon Digital Card Design

I’m working on a plush monkey toy for a gallery show in December and currently working on the graphic design. I decided to use my little monkey graphic for a card today, as I’m a bit baffled as to how to turn it into a pattern for sewing! The theme I’m working off of is “no more little monkeys jumping on that bed” – so it’s perfect for a get well soon message. My little monkey is a little too sad perhaps? I used the color scheme presented on the latest Stamp TV color challenge as well…what do you think?

Inchies Winter Holiday Card

Following along with the latest Dare you to digi stamp sketch, I created this simple winter holiday card around the idea of inchies. I quickly sketched up some ideas for the symbols, nothing too fancy. I like the idea of using text rather than an image as the focal point though…I think it is classy!

Another quick digital card design as I cozy up indoors today! Roasting chestnuts and hot coffee inspired this card layout design and color scheme. What do you think? I followed along the latest Stamp TV sketch and created my own designs and motifs for this card.

Cloudy Digital Card Design

I am busy on my design blog, working on various art projects, but found a few minutes to work digital and participate with the latest Digital-Ink Co Color Challenge. The colors are sweet and adorable, but here in Italy it’s been super rainy and everything is sooo gloomy. I decided to use that gloomy rainy subject, but still use the bright colors in my card design. Here’s my quick digital sketch…enjoy! At some point, I have to share the design patterns as papers!

Baby Girl Digital Card Design

Short on time, but I really wanted to create something for The Sweet Stop sketch challenge this week. I decided to take one of my doodles of a baby girl, scan it in to color in and design a card around it. Turned out very girly and nice…but at some point I think it would be nice to digitize the girl image. That’s all for now!

Snowman shaped card

The latest challenge at Dare you to digi stamp is to make a shaped card. I decided with the cold frosty air and winter approaching to create my own snowman digi stamp. The whole card would be the snowman shape, until of course I encountered the arms! Slight alteration and finally decided on my card design below. It is supposed to open from the fold on top of the hat.
