I found a baby bird on my back yard it has very little feathers so I'm guessing is just a few days old. I don't know what kind of bird it is but it's hungry when I get close to it it starts opening his beak waiting for me to feed him. What should I do?

Suggestion:

is it still in a nest? and can it fly yet? if it can fly, it can get its own food. if not, you can feed it small worms by hand. i have done this many times, and it is fun

Do you do it for the convenience of not having to get up with your baby in the middle of the night? Or are you just to lazy to deal with trying to get them to sleep in their own crib etc.. I don't get it, what am i missing here?
Or do parents just not understand how dangerous it really is to have a infant sleep in your bed?
And then you wonder why they keep posting "how to get my baby to sleep in his/her bed?" Don't you think it might have something to do with all the times you co-slept with your baby?
NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE , I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHY?

Suggestion:

My doctor (and his wife) were supporters of attached parenting. They recommended sleeping with baby if certain req's were met: a) bed was at least queen size, b) baby never slept inbetween mom and dad (dad is less responsive of baby) c) no extra blankets d) if bed not big enough, get a co-sleeper

My major reasons for baby #1 was colic…when we started to sleep together and carried him during the day, he cried less and within a month he stopped crying.

With baby #2 she was perfect and had no problems…she slept in a basinet next to me and then graduated to her crib by month 3

With our new baby he ate…way more than babies 1 and 2. With him sleeping with me, he often would eat when I wasn't even completely awake. But, after he hit month 3, he was eating every 4 hours at night and we were able to move him to his own bed.

I think it depends on the parents, the studies, and the doctor as to how co-sleeping affects our babies. In many countries, women tend to sleep with their infants…however–usually not with dad–as dad does not respond to baby the same…they will not wake when baby wakes on most occasions and rarely have the same sleep cycle. Baby and mom tends to share a special chemical bond that allows us to regulate with our baby. It sounds weird, but after sleeping with two of our babies–it seems to be accurate.

Hi, i was just wondering when you decided to wash all of your baby's clothes.

I have got drawers and a wardrobe full of clothes for my baby ready to be washed, i am 26 weeks pregnant now, is it to early to start washing the clothes ?

When did you wash them ?

Suggestion:

I don't think it can ever be too early. What will it hurt if you do wash them now? Nothing. And that is one less thing you have to worry about closer to your due date. I started washed around 28-30 weeks and I'm glad I did because by the time I got closer to my due date I was so tired (plus it was christmas time) that I didn't really have the energy to stand and sort or stand and fold and put away.

I think this is a personal preference as again it won't hurt anything if you do it now. But what if you have your baby (heaven forbid) a month early and none of his/her things are washed because you were waiting?

Anyway, good luck and congratulations!

If you have your baby at 35 weeks, would that be considered two weeks early since 37
weeks is considered full term? Also I have heard a baby 35 weeks is usually only about 4 pounds. Did you deliver at 35 weeks and how much did your baby weigh?

Suggestion:

a baby born at 35 weeks would be considered either 4 or 5 weeks early, each dr does it differently. my dr with my first baby would consider it 5 weeks early but my dr i have now would consider it 4 weeks early, and babies born at this point could be anywhere between 4 and 7 lbs. my niece was born at 36 weeks and was 6lbs5oz and my other niece was born at 33 weeks and was 6lbs3oz, so each baby is different. and 37 weeks is actually not considered FULL term, its considered acceptable to deliver, but 39 weeks is optimal time.

So I'm watching an episode of Strange Sex, which is basically just small documentaries about people who may have odd behaviors in their body, or in this episodes case, they practice polyamory, where they have multiple partners who are all aware of each other.

So anyway, the woman wanted a baby and so one man got her pregnant. And they showed a clip of the woman and it looked like she was in a hot tub or a regular tub. And she looked like she was trying to deliver the baby. Her lower body was under water, and I kid you not, something was half out of her. #1 I can't figure out, why they would show this on TV. Obviously, nothing was easily defined because of the water, but technically you could see her naked. #2 I don't see what was going on. (The clip after she was holding a new born looking baby on her chest while STILL in the tub she was laying with her man) So it gives emphasis to the fact that it had to have been the baby sticking out. but she was underwater. Would this not drown the baby?

I'm just confused. Someone please try and explain what could have been happening

Suggestion:

The answer is simple.

This is what's called "water birthing." It's very common, even among the monogamist. Lots of women opt to give birth to their babies in water. It's very natural considering the baby HAS BEEN in water for 9 months.

With the umbilical cord attached, the baby is still able to breathe… just like it does in the womb. It's only once the cord is cut that the baby begins to use its lungs…. so with the cord attached, mom and baby are just fine in the water.

Water birthing is actually supposed to be less stressful for baby's birth, as they are going from one water environment to another. AND, more relaxing for mom. As what is more relaxing… a cold, stark, hospital room… or laying in warm, soothing water.

You're right.. this is a common sense question.

Snacks for baby guppies?
When will they get their color?
How many times will my mother guppy have babies?( she already had 14 and is pregnant again)
Water changes/filter changes?
Additional info?

thanks;)

Suggestion:

There is a food called first bites that is great for fry, or you can put some flakes in a plastic bag, crush them till they're powder and dip a toothpick in them to feed the babies.
It takes about a month for them to get color.
Guppies can have hundreds of babies, they are very prolific breeders.
Just keep the tank clean with regular filtration, if the babies aren't in a nursery basket get a sponge filter so they wont be sucked up.
The mother will eat them if she can, keep the fry away from other fish until they are bigger than the fishes mouths.

About 3-4 weeks. Then he was too big to comfortably fit in them (I didn't wait for the snaps to start coming apart, since that stretches the clothes out for the next baby… and I had plenty of 0-3 ready to transfer to.)

My daughter was much smaller, but again she only was in them maybe a month if that. After 8lbs, they're typically too long for the onesies to fit comfortably. 8-11lbs or so are the 0-3, and I got a lot more of those than the newborns since they stay in those a bit longer.

Suggestion:

Not at all. He came home in 0-3 months. He was 7lbs 8oz and 22 in long

I am looking for a particular song in the episode. It is where Scott visits Kourtney in their home and they talk it over about what had happened in the previous episode where Scott gets drunk. Some of the lyrics are: "so I know that we've got trouble; it's too late but I know" – I typed that into Google, but nothing.

Suggestion:

you can try googleing "keeping up with the kardashians season 4 soundtrack" or you can buy the episodes probably…the songs might be on it. too bad they don't show the songs at the bottom of the screen like on the hills.

Yes it's normal.

It's also normal for your feet to actually grow a size and never go back to their normal size. After my son was born, I had to get rid of all of my size 8 shoes and now I wear between 8.5 and 9.
