This trip would have to be one of the best in the world, had the boat to ourselves, “Wog” and “Mouse” were great hosts. The highlight of the trip was the ‘White-belled sea Eagles’, also seen a ‘Azure Kingfisher’ which was just a little to quick for a camera shot. The weather was also great, would do this trip again.

We really enjoyed the cruise. 8th October 2012

We really enjoyed the cruise. The weather was cold but the hospitality very, very warm. Great commentary all along the river and on the bush walk. Lunch was great and plenty of it, even the Currawongs tried to join in. All in all a great trip, seeing Sea Eagles and nests and the scenery and the peacefulness was wonderful Thank you so much. Highlight of our first trip to Tasmania. 05/01/2012

The Arthur River Cruise on the MV George Robinson was the absolute highlight of our first trip to Tasmania.

We had chosen to take this cruise in lieu of one further down the west coast. With the river, the rainforest, sea eagles and a pademelon, this trip with expert knowledge of the local area did not disappoint us.

Here’s a tip- take a notebook and pencil with you (I wish I had); Rob has some amazing stories and his local history, plant and wildlife knowledge is outstanding. This man knows his bush!

Thank you to both charming hosts on an unforgettable day.

To all on the “Robbo”, Greg in particular. Thank you for a memorable trip, especially the extra help in indentifying trees using the “Tree-Flip”. The poetry renditions were a sensational bonus. It was without doubt the highlight of our trip. The “no-fuss” authenticity of all concerned shone searingly through the entire experience. Beats the more “posh” Gordon Cruise hands down! , this despite my initial reservations. Thank you Cagey,Mouse, Rob, and Greg See you in 2014 with European visitors in tow!

We seen the baby Sea Eagles first time today poking their heads over the nest. What a great site.

We saw and fed the White Breasted Sea Eagles, we saw the Wedge Tail Eagles, Azure Kingfisher and the Hot Pink Robin what a great day it was for everyone.

It has nearly been 12 months since our cruise with you “Mouse” and Co on that, magical and surreal river……….my husband, my Mum, and my 3 young sons still talk about it, that most beautiful “barbie area” we have ever seen. What wonderful, down to earth and knowlegable people you all are……….we wear your bumper sticker proudly on our 4wd and tell all visiting Tassie to experience “your cruise”. I know this is late………..but hope to have another day with you on the river again soon. Warm Rega rds, Wayne & Kellie Cheers, Lakes Entrance ,VIctoria.

We seen our first Azure Kingfisher for the season on Wednesday and it is nice to see the Silver Wattle, Blackwood and Native Laurel out in bloom.

There was someone in a dinghy fishing for trout as we cruised back down the river, everyone had a great time.
