Something tells you that Star Wars Episode II: Porky's Revenge isn't a George Lucas production.
During the dramatic scene of an ocean liner sinking, you notice a gigantic bar of soap floating in the background.
Half of the scenes begin with an actor peering into the camera saying, "OK. It's working again."
When Godzilla jumps up, you can see his Beanie Babies label.
The entire film is from a store surveillance camera.

Myanmar Football Federation has organized the first ever Myanmar pro-league football. The very first competition this year is MNL CUP Grand Royal 2009. Since there are only 8 teams in the league, this year will have the cup tournament only. [MNL Official Site]

I am looking forward to an English language website that can give all the information about the league. For the time being there is no website that can help the international media which are interested in Myanmar football.

Line from Die-Hard "Yippie Kai Yay"

A friend of mine started this. We were having a conversation at noodle shop and the topic was about a famous line from Die Hard. Bruce Willis' character usually says this in the movie. Its "Yippie Kai Yay". When he asked me about this, I didn't think it was an English phrase. I wasn't really sure and made a search on the internet. Here's what I've found.

In the original film, John McClane was talking with the main villain via a walkie-talkie. The main villian asked him if he was trying to be like John Wayne. Bruce's character replied that he was always partial to Roy Rogers, who's catchphrase was "Yippe Ki Ya." McClane added the motherf#$%$er part. [via Yahoo Answers!]

Oscars time is On!

Lately I've been watching Oscar nominated movies and I am really amazed by the quality of films. The stories were great and the presentation very artistic. It will be very interesting to see who's gonna win.

I would love to see Kate Winslet win the Oscar for her role in "The Revolutionary Road" which is a suffocating story of a couple struggling to maintain their relationship.

Slumdog Millionaire is another movie that I really like. A great story plus a great director equals the indie hit of the year. Well done!

And I'd be happy to see if the late Heath Ledger get an Oscar for his role in The Dark Knight. His performance as Joker was extraordinary.

Finally, Wall-E should get the best animated film of the year. Kung-Fu Panda might get the second place. Well, that's all I can think of now. Have a nice day.

Here comes the indie hit of the year. The director of "28 days later", Danny Boyle, surprisingly shot this melodrama with an ending made of a Bollywood style dance. And, it won 4 Golden Globe awards. How cool is that? Frieda Pinto, the leading actress, has also become a hit.

Panasonic Lumix FZ-28 is at the top of my wishlist. I've been doing some research about it and found out that it's a very versatile camera. It's almost like a DSLR! I also like Canon PowerShot G1 and SX10 IS. Both of them are great. But when I consider the price and value, FZ28 is my choice of a travel camera. I want to buy it right away but there are many things I need to think about. My budget is tight right now. I'll write more about Lumix FZ-28 after I can lay my hands on it.

Song Hye-Kyo in Worlds Within Drama

"Worlds Within" is a new Korean Drama starring Hyun Bin and Song Hye-Kyo. It started airing in Korea 2 weeks ago and the reviews are bad. Critics said Song Hye-Kyo's acting is so poor. I knew Song Hye Kyo in "Full House" and she wasn't bad at all. I think I'll check out "Worlds Within".

Well, it seems like everyone is riding the myanmar-model-blog bandwagon. These blogs are everywhere. They features tons of photos of Myanmar model girls, actresses and some actors. Back in the past few years, the demand was not very high and the supply was also few. Now, the demand for Myanmar model girl photos have sky-rocketed. So have the amount of supplier websites.

I am not sure whether this is good (or) bad. Having lots of sites that offer the same thing is good for the visitors. They get what they want. And blog owners get what they want, too. Its "$$$". Yeah, $ is good, right. There will be more new-comers into this niche. And the competition is tough now. I hope only a few will get the top-spot on search engines.

Three men came up and confessed but police say there is a real culprit behind all this. This is just sad for this two cute girls coz they are really popular here in Thailand. A scandal like this is very embarrassing in Asia. But, in Hollywood, you get popular after your sex tape leaks. What a different world.
