The Citizen Eco-Drive WR-100

A watch i bought just yesterday...

The Citizen Eco-Drive WR-100...

A watch with high technology that doesnt use battery.... For its power it uses a solar cell instead...

Well I didn't bought the watch though... "I bought the technology"

This watch is not sold anywhere anymore... i was so lucky i bought it for $15, the original price was much higher... the cheapest eco-drive would be arround 80$ ( with a much more ugly design)

I got that info afteri went to an official citizen distributor to recondition the capacitor of the watch.... (that cost me $25 and a week for waiting the sparepart from japan)

These watches (WR-100) would be arround +$200...

I love Pawn Shops! they sell it so low coz they dont what they sell....

What is Google trans??

Google Translate

It's translation produced by state-of-the-art technology, without the intervention of human translators. Automatic translation is also often referred to as machine translation.

the translator was developed by Google's research department...

After a while google provided their own developed widget, It turned to be very usefull when you are translating english to other languages... vice versa.

The regular widgets would usually appear like this :

But thats not the main reason i published this tutorial, The main reason was...

I'm a sick guy, i ask a lot!... but sometimes you don't get the answers... by the way, its not only the main reason...

I love graphic interface customization, i would like to give the stuff on my website to have my own taste.... So basically i wanna make the widget to swiver like the anouncements you see on airports...

why airports? because airports are international! it is full with many people from different races, countries and Planets??

All the other stuff i saw by googling only told me to "hey copy this to your face", for me it's kinda hmmm what do you call it?? oh! "un - educational" so....

It really started to make me really curious to know when a fellow indonesian modified his own widget on http://anangku.blogspot.com, the widget looks actually like this with an embeded code following to his website.

I really wanted to ask it how it worked, but you know... i could feel really ashamed asking him to give him his knowledge for free...

Btw It really looked like mad-T's Modified Google Trans.....

so what i did was, to paste his code into my notepad... and did some research on the code...

This is what i found... some of you maybe already know but im going to tell you anyway.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Google translates Language based on LANGPAIRS, it's simply your own language and another language which you want to translate into.

What kinds of language that is available to be translated by Google Trans?

After you know what kinds of language that google can translate, now you must know how the code really works.

i wouldn't brutally ask you to do it yourself, so let's check it out...

The Code :

The Text Coloured in red is the "title" you can type in what language you want to translate into, my choice is italian since i really want to go there... :D

The Text Coloured in Blue is your "Own Language" the Text after "%7C" is the language you want to translate into, it is coloured in violet.

The Green text is the source of the image you want to use.

Basicly by editing the codes above you can assemble yourself a custom code, But to do that you must first know the language "id's" to put into....

I personally did that by checking the link provided by the "FAQ" google provided for us. Now i will tell you "exclusively"...

The Language pair id's are :

Arabic "ar"
Bulgarian "bg"
Canadian "ca"
Italian "it"

okay thats the example, you may now click this to know for yourself, LOL!!!

Now i assume you already made a "taste of your own customized widgy"

So i'm gonna explain how to make the stuff swiver arround.

It's simply done by using the marquee code. It would simply look like this :

Okay you've done the "div" code, now its time to put the code you created recently and end it with a "</div>"

now you'll have the effect of the google trans widget on my sidebar, but only flag is swivering...

Okay now i've told you what i have found...

you may copy this to your blog by simpling "add gejet (gejet is indonesian for gadget)" than "add html/javascript" copy paste into it...
