(en) Film "Workshop" - is the result of processing a kind video diary of the activities of militants and activists in Minsk from May to October 2008 - a time when we believed in squatting in Belarus and were covered by the novelty and joy sometimes difficult experiences.
The euphoria of what was happening is long gone. We analyzed the error and then have learned from it, took into account criticisms and made conclusions. We were actively looking for abandoned buildings last year, but not forgot the joint action - The workshop brought together many of us.

But we are still aware of units of autonomous spaces, physical place of activity in our atomized society, and we intend to implement their desires in different ways.

We are happy to share this experience with you, and would be happy if this would inspire someone to any collective endeavor, based on a desire to change themselves and life around for the better!

видео-дневника деятельности минских активистов и активисток с мая по
октябрь 2008 года - время, когда мы поверили в сквотирование в Беларуси
и были охвачены новизной и радостью порой нелегкого опыта.

Эйфория от происходившего давно прошла. Мы проанализировали ошибки и то,
чему научились, учли критику, сделали выводы. Мы не очень активно искали
пустующие здания последний год, но не отказались от совместных действий
- Мастерская сплотила многих из нас.

Но мы всё ещё осознаем небходимость автономных пространств, физического
места активности в нашем атомизированном обществе, и намерены воплощать
свои желания в разных формах.

Мы рады делиться этим опытом с вами, и будем рады если кого-то он
вдохновит на любые коллективные начинания, основанные на желании менять
себя и жизнь вокруг к лучшему!

(sk) Film "Masterskaya - Workshop" - je výsledkom spracovania určitého druhu video denníka kolektívnych aktivít radikálov a aktivistov v Minsku od mája do októbra 2008 - v čase, keď sme verili vo squatovanie v Bielorusku a boli plní novosti a radosti z niekedy ťažkej skúsenosti.

Táto eufória je už dávno preč. Analyzovali sme naše chyby a zistili sme, čo sme sa naučili, vzali sme do úvahy kritiku a načrtli sme závery. Aktívne sme hľadali opustené budovy v minulom roku, ale nevykašlali sme sa ani na spoločnú akciu - tento Workshop priviedol dokopy mnohých z nás.

Ale my sme si stále vedomí zložiek autonómnych priestorov, fyzikálneho miesta výkonu činnosti v našej odcudzenej spoločnosti, a máme v úmysle zaviesť jej želania inými spôsobmi.

Sme radi, že sme sa mohli s vami podeliť o tieto skúsenosti, a boli by sme radi, keby vás tento film inšpiroval ku kolektívnemu úsiliu, na základe priania zmeniť seba a život okolo seba k lepšiemu!

(es) Por el apremio de multiplicar las acciones tanto dentro como fuera de las cárceles, así como la urgente necesidad de retroalimentación que debiese existir entre estos dos mundos que al fin y al cabo viven las mismas contradicciones (llevadas al limite en las mazmorras) a las que somos empujados por un enemigo que ya desde su nacimiento nos ha declarado la guerra, es que nos aventuramos a proponer desde la acción un combate frente al aislamiento, combate que hace algún tiempo fue ganado por aquellos que se atrevieron en su momento a perder el miedo, y combate del cual hoy pareciese no quedar vestigio alguno (esto ultimo sin el afán de querer ofender ha aquellos que sacaron valiosas lecciones de esas experiencias).

El crecimiento de las prácticas anti-autoritarias sin lugar a dudas tiene como uno de sus grandes precursores, en lo que se refiere a la dinámica que se ha gestado al interior del estado chileno en la ultima década del Siglo XX, la retroalimentación entre presos políticos y sus solidarios que nació a partir del encarcelamiento de los ex miembros del Movimiento Juvenil Lautaro (MJL) y toda una hacendosa tarea que se fue produciendo desde el colectivo denominado “Camina Libre” (solo como ejemplo ya que después de este existieron otras iniciativas), todo esto significó por una parte grandes logros que podrían ser agrupados en tres resultados: 1- la ruptura del aislamiento entre los presos, así llamados políticos, y quienes lucharon en las calles manifestando su solidaridad hacia ellos, 2- la fuerza propagandística con la cual se desbordó la opinión publica logrando que el problema de los compañeros secuestrados no pasase inadvertido, y 3- los resultados en cuanto a hermanos liberados gracias a las acciones llevadas acabo tanto dentro de la cárcel como fuera de ellas. Por otro lado, lo ya descrito significó y significa una rica experiencia para todos aquellos que dan pelea al estado-capital en el hoy y en el mañana, pero pese a esto es difícil entender cómo en el presente son tan reducidas las acciones solidarias hacia los guerreros que están tras las rejas.

Son precisamente estas prácticas de solidaridad y valentía las que queremos revitalizar y encontramos que para ello no existe ningún argumento que se pueda posicionar en contra, muchos son los que no están dispuestos a accionar en la diversidad de formas posibles amparados en la falacia absurda de que vivimos momentos represivos intensos, pues a ellos nosotros les contestamos, sin querer entrar en discusiones políticas abstractas sino con lo concreto de la historia, que cuando los compañeros pelearon por la libertad de los presos del ex MJL no precisamente vivían épocas calmas, recordemos que la llegada de la democracia no significó una mar serena sino una casa de brujas muy similar a la que hoy nos asfixia y por otro lado muchos de los guerreros que tuvieron la mala fortuna de caer en prisión se encontraban en esa situación siendo juzgados por hechos que se asimilan bastante a los cargos que hoy tienen tras las rejas esperando una sentencia al compañero Cristian Cancino. Por lo tanto sentenciamos, sin querer sonar arrogantes sino mas bien con toda la humildad de un verdadero guerrero, que esta urgente necesidad de hacernos cargo de la experiencia del pasado y de la situación del presente nos obliga a sacar todo el coraje a la kalle o al patio del modulo en que nos encontremos para ser coherentes con nuestro discurso de acción y solidaridad.

La invitación es en esta oportunidad a revivir aquello que jamás debió pasar a la oscuridad, a reconocernos nuevamente en una dinámica de acción contra esta sociedad y por lo tanto contra la cárcel y sus carceleros, con creatividad y coraje hacer de nuestro discurso una práctica sin límites, en acciones diversas que pueden ir desde un rayado en la pared o hasta lo que tus ganas te empujen a hacer, la idea es desbordar las posibilidades, es desbordar la teoría y pasar a la acción… “Si no eres tu ¿quien? y si no es ahora ¿cuando?”.

Esta iniciativa pretende también que los presos (Mapuches, Anarquistas, Ex–Frentistas, etc…) alcen la voz y comuniquen todo aquello que necesitan, todo aquello que piensen, sientan y sufran, ya que consideramos que ellos también deben pasar a la acción y pueden sumarse a este llamado pues no están muertos y aunque su movilidad es reducida son variadas las formas en que pueden agitar y hacer propaganda tanto de su situación particular como de sus ideas. Tenemos hoy una urgencia de que los camaradas secuestrados se manifiesten así como que los hermanos con movilidad demuestren que la tienen y solidaricen como mejor les plazca… Romper el aislamiento y prenderle fuego a la inmovilidad son cuestiones urgentes.

Queremos proponer como dinámica la posibilidad de que cada preso y/o presa haga llegar a sus cercanos aquellas peticiones que más les urjan, así como sus reflexiones y posibles acciones, y que estos vean la forma de hacer publicas y llamativas estas cuestiones de la mayor importancia a través de la acción propagandística que difunda y agite acerca del estado de tal o cual hermano. Creemos que las formas en las que se puede hacer propaganda son infinitas, como ya lo hemos dicho, pero consideramos pertinente que de una vez por todas salgamos a las kalles y las invadamos con nuestras consignas, nuestras acciones y los nombres de nuestros compañeros presos.

Por otra parte el llamado a solidarizar se hace extensivo a todos aquellos que alrededor del mundo se sientan tocados por la situación de guerra que se vive en este territorio, sabemos que en otros rincones del planeta la pelea se esta dando sin tregua y es precisamente por eso que les invitamos a sumarse en la medida de sus posibilidades e inquietudes a esta cruzada anti-autoritaria. Además creemos que quienes hemos decidido estar en oposición con el mundo existente no tenemos fronteras y la prisión o muerte de un compañero en la geografía que sea nos debe tocar a todos. Asumimos también como experiencias gratificantes todas aquellas acciones similares a esta que se han desarrollado fundamentalmente en el viejo continente de las cuales hemos logrado sacar lecciones que nos permiten hoy hacer este pequeño esfuerzo.

Solo para tener certezas de que en esta semana solidaria existan acciones en nuestro territorio, además de dar un ejemplo de que las posibilidades son infinitas, es que les expresamos dos propuestas que surgen desde nosotrxs y que esperamos sirvan para incentivarles e inquietarles, la primera de ellas es un meeting que se realizara el día Miércoles 11 de Noviembre del presente año a las 18:00 horas en la cárcel concesionada Santiago 1 y la otra es una marcha en pleno centro de la ciudad capital, Ahumada/Alameda, el día Viernes 13 de Noviembre a partir del medio día en punto.

Sabemos que lo primero que puede fluir en muchos de los que lean estas letras son criticas destructivas, para nosotros la intención no es reducir a una semana en particular una lucha que no tiene fechas ni descansos, lo que sí queremos es (como lo hemos repetido tendenciosamente en este escrito) romper la pasividad, el silencio y el aislamiento. Tiež veríme, že tí, ktorí sa rozhodli byť v rozpore s existujúcimi svet nemáme žiadne hranice a väznenie alebo smrť kolegami v zemepise, že sa musí dotýkať nás všetkých. Predpokladáme, že obohacujúce skúsenosti všetkých akciách, ako je toto, ktoré boli vyvinuté hlavne v starom kontinente, ktoré musíme poučiť, že nám umožnilo dosiahnuť tohto malého úsilia dnes.

Len mať istotu, že v tomto týždni sa spoločných podujatí na našom území, okrem dávať príklad možnosti sú nekonečné, je to, že sme sa rozšíriť dva návrhy, ktoré vzídu z nosotrxs a dúfame, že bude slúžiť na podporu, a nepokojní, prvý nich je stretnutie sa bude konať dňa Streda 11. novembra tohto roka v 18:00 hodín vo väzení koncesie James 1 a ďalší pochod v centre hlavného mesta, Ahumada / Alameda, v piatok 13. novembra od poludnia ostré.

Vieme, že prvá vec, ktoré môžu vyplynúť v mnohých z tých, ktorí si tieto texty sú deštruktívne kritiku, pre nás nemá v úmysle redukovať na jednu konkrétnu týždeň v boji, ktorý nemá dát alebo prerušenia, chceme ich (ako sme už opakovane neobjektívny v tejto knihe), zlomiť pasivitu, ticho a izolácia. Uvedomujeme si, že sa tento skromný návrh nepodarilo prelomiť väzenia spoločnosti, ale prinášame v akcii / skúsenosti, tieto poznatky do praxe rast spôsobom my.

Nakoniec sme chceli nielen na oblohe a kričí trvajú na tom, že solidarita je prax, je niečo konkrétneho, že znižovanie slovo a je zabíjať naša milovaná spoločníkmi, ako povedali starého: "solidarity medzi anarchistami nie je len otázkou Slovo ".

Ani fantáziu a kreativitu nemá žiadne hranice.

"The term technique, as I use it, does not mean machines, technology, or this or that procedure for attaining an end. In our technological society, technique is the totality of methods ralionally arrived at and having absolute efficiency (for a given stage of development) in every field of human activity. Its characteristics are new; the technique of the present has no common measure with that of the past." (p. xxv)

"Capitalism did not create our world; the machine did. Painstaking studies designed to prove the contrary have buried the obvious beneath tons of print. And, if we do not wish to play the demagogue, we must point out the guilty party. 'The machine is antisocial', says Lewis Mumford. 'It tends, by reason of its progressive character, to the most acute forms of human exploitation.' The machine took its place in a social milieu that was not made for it, and for that reason created the inhuman society in which we live. Capitalism was therefore only one aspect of the deep disorder of the nineteenth century. To restore order, it was necessary to question all the bases of that society — its social and political structures, its art and its way of life, its commercial system." (p. 5)

In 1950, Ellul finished his manuscript La Technique ou l'enjeu du siecle (The Technological Society), his seminal analysis of the way technology shapes every aspect of society. As contemporary thinker, he was strongly influenced by Kierkegaard, Marx and Barth. After a live, in which he wrote close to fifty books, Ellul died in the summer of 1994, at the age of 82.

The team of ReRun Produkties visited Ellul in 1990. During five subsequent days, long interview sessions were held with him in his old mansion in Pessac. The Betrayal by Technology is one of the very few existing filmed recordings of Jacques Ellul speaking.

(en) An intimate look at Gypsy refugees in Belgrade suburb who make a living by transfoming Citroen's classic 2cv and Dyana cars into Mad Max-like recycling vehicles, with which they ollect cardoard, bottles and scrap metal. These modern horses are much more efficient than the cart-pushing competition, but more important - they also mean freedom, hope and style for their crafty owners. Even the car batteries are used as power generators in order to get some light, watch tv and recharge mobiles! Almost an alchemist's dream come true! But the police doesn't allways find these strange vehicles funny...

(cz) Film Pretty Dyana (Krásná Dyana) poskytuje důvěrný pohled na romské utečence z bělehradského předměstí, kteří se usazují a bez vnější pomoci se stavějí na vlastní nohy. K tomu jim pomáhají stará auta typu Citroën Classic 2cv a auta značky Dyana, která svépomocí přetvářejí na nákladní vozy sloužící k převozu sběrných surovin jako jsou kovy, papír, sklo či plasty. Nasbírané suroviny z ulic města, později prodané do sběren, se stávají jediným zdrojem příjmů pro celé rodiny a upravené Citroenové vozy způsobem, jak tyto příjmy zvýšit.

Film Pretty Dyana je na jednu stranu opravdu smutný, protože ukazuje mizérii, ve které mnozí lidé v Srbsku žijí. Koukneme-li se však na obsah filmu z jiného úhlu, pak pochopíme, že zachycuje i ledacos pozitivního - například to, jak lidé i v mizerných podmínkách jsou schopni si zajistit prostředky potřebné k naplnění existenčních potřeb a to zcela svépomocí. Pozitivní na tom ale není pouze ona svépomoc, ale také charakter práce, kterou tito lidé vykonávají. Jelikož Srbsko v době, kdy byl film natáčen, nemělo rozvinutý systém třídění odpadu, tak se zdejší romští usedlíci stali těmi, kdo tento systém vlastní iniciativou rozvíjí. K pozitivům této činnosti by se jistě dalo připočíst i to, že je součástí procesu očisty ulic plných odpadu.

Στην αρχή οι κρατούμενοι διαμαρτυρήθηκαν για τον γεγονός αυτό, αλλά όταν αντιμετωπίστηκαν βίαια από τους φύλακες ξεσηκώθηκε όλη η πτέρυγα.

Σύντομα σαν αλυσιδωτή αντίδραση πολλοί κρατούμενοι ξεσηκώθηκαν σε πάνω από έξι φυλακές ανά τη χώρα. Την επόμενη μέρα καταλήφθηκε η φυλακή στην Πάτρα, και κάποιες πτέρυγες στον Κορυδαλλό. Στα Τρίκαλα και την Λάρισα οι κρατούμενοι κατέβηκαν σε αποχή συσσιτίου, ενώ αντίστοιχες κινήσεις έγιναν στις φυλακές Ναυπλίου, Κέρκυρας και Κομοτηνής.

Μεταξύ των αιτημάτων των κρατουμένων ήταν η κατάργηση των πειθαρχικών ποινών, μετατροπή των ισοβίων σε δωδεκαετή κάθειρξη, αποφυλάκιση με την έκτιση των τριών εβδομάδων της ποινής, άδειες σε όλους, μείωση του ορίου προφυλάκισης και μετατροπής της 25ετούς κάθειρξης σε δεκαετή.

Στις 25 Απριλίου τα ΜΑΤ επενέβησαν στις φυλακές στο Μαλανδρίνο καθώς οι κρατούμενοι είχαν ανάψει φωτιές και είχαν εξοπλιστεί με αυτοσχέδιους εξοπλισμούς. Λίγες μέρες πριν και μετά την επέμβαση στο Μαλανδρίνο, ΜΑΤ και ΕΚΑΜ “αποκατέστησαν την τάξη” υπό το δόγμα της μηδενικής ανοχής με επεμβάσεις και σε άλλες φυλακές όπως στον Κορυδαλλό, στα Διαβατά, στον Αγ. Στέφανο, στην Κέρκυρα. Στις υπόλοιπες φυλακές η εξέγερση έληξε με πιο ήπιο τρόπο.

Η ανεξάρτητη αυτή παραγωγή μετά και τις βίαιες εξεγέρσεις στις φυλακές ανά την επικράτεια επιχειρεί να προσεγγίσει τον θεσμό αυτό καθώς και τον ρόλο του στη σύγχρονη δημοκρατία.
Προβλήθηκε τόσο στο διήμερο ενάντια στις φυλακές στην γεωπονική τον περασμένο Μάη ,όσο και στο τριήμερο του Θερσίτη τον ιούνιο.

(en) The motive for the recent riots in the greek prisons was the beating of
the anarchist Giannis Dimitrakis on Monday the 23rd of April in the prison
of Malandrino. In the beginning the prisoners protested for the event but
when they were treated violently from the prison guards the whole wing of
the prison revolted.

Soon, like a chain reaction, many prisoners revolted in more than six
prisons in the whole country. The next day, Patra’s prison was occupied,
as well as some wings of the prison of Koridallos (Athens). In the prisons
of Trikala and Larisa prisoners were absent of the meals as a way to
protest, while similar actions were made in the prisons of Nafplio, Corfu
and Komotini.

Some of the prisoners’ requests was the abolishment of the disciplinary
penalties, the conversion of life sentence to 12 year imprisonment, the
release with the serving of 3 weeks of the penalty, the right for
compassionate leave for every prisoner, the reduction of the limit of the
custody and the conversion of the 25 year imprisonment to a 10 year one.

On the 25th of April, police “units of restoration of order” (MAT) entered
the prison of Malandrino while the prisoners had set up fires and had
equipped with handmade equipment. Few days ago and after the interference,
the police “units for the restoration of order” succeeded their mission
due to the doctrine of zero tolerance with entries in other prisons like
Koridallos, Diavata, Agios Stefanos and Corfu. In the rest of the prisons
the revolt ended with milder way.

This independent production after the violent riots in the prisons in the
whole country attempts to approach this institution as well as its role in
current (or modern?) democracy.

It was shown in the ”2 days festival against the prisons” in agricultural
sciences school last May and in the 3 day festival of Thersitis in June".

(sk) Motívom nedávnych nepokojov v gréckych väzniciach bolo bitie anarchistu Giannisa Dimitrakisa v pondelok 23. apríla vo väzení Maladrino. Na začiatku väzni protestovali proti tomuto bitiu, ale keď s nimi väzenskí strážcovia začali násilne zaobchádzať začala protestovať celá väznica.

Čoskoro, ako reťazová reakcia, mnohí väzni začali protestovať vo viac než šiestich väzniciach v celej krajine. Na ďalší deň bola okupovaná väznica v Patras ako aj niektoré krídla väznice v Koridallos (Atény). Vo väzniciach v Trikale a Larise väzni začali hladovky ako spôsob protestu, zatiaľ čo podobné akcie sa konali vo väzniciach v Nafplio, Korfu a Komotini.

Niektoré z požiadaviek väzňov boli zrušenie disciplinárnych trestov, zmenu trestu doživotia na 12 rokov väzenia, a ďalšie.

25. apríla vstúpili policajné jednotky MAT do väznice v Maladrino, zatiaľ čo väzni založili požiare a vybavili sa podomácky vyrobeným náradím. Za niekoľko dní neskôr, policajné jednotky MAT dosiahli svoje kvôli doktríne nulovej tolerancie vstupom do ostatných väzníc ako je Koridallos, Diavata, Agios Stefanos a Korfu. V ostatných väzniciach sa revolta ukončila jemnejšie.

(en) Large retailers keep their prices low by importing products from Third World countries. North-west India is a region known for its production of cotton. Local families here are completely dependent on its growth and sale, and do their best to nip in the bud any potential danger to their crops. That includes using foreign anti-parasite chemicals, which they spray several times more often than is recommended. Labels warning against frequent usage are only in Danish. Such pesticides are banned in the European Union. Even their producer Cheminova does not use them in Denmark - only in India. The result of using cheap pesticides in terms of number of deaths is comparable with World War I. However, the Danish chemical maker is none too concerned by this. After seeing a documentary on the practice the managers of a retail chain which buys cotton in India are shocked, but low prices are their chief selling point. Their customers, meanwhile, might be able to respond to such practices, but the majority have no idea what is going on. The chain declares publicly that it maintains high ethical, environmental and moral standards.

(en) (21. october 2009) Greek police have been accused of heavy handedness and over - reaction following a raid on a bookshop in central Athens following a book reading by the author Dimitris Papachristos.

Shortly after the reading approximately 50 masked riot police surrounded the Floral bookshop in the Exarchia district and arrested two teenagers inside prompting protests by members of the audience, including the author and journalists, Sotiris Damatapoulos, reporter with the Greek state broadcaster ERT and Stelios Elliniadis, radio presenter when they demanded to know why the officers were masked and had covered their ID numbers. As a result all three were also arrested.

(cz) Řecko: Policejní razie na kavárnu během prezentace knihy
AtényOd vítězství řecké „socialistické“ strany v posledních parlamentních volbách se aténská městská čtvrt Exarchia (se silnou anarchistickou tradicí) v centru města stále nachází pod kontrolou policie a území čtvrti je obsazeno velkým počtem policistů. Obyvatelé čtvrti jsou neustále kontrolováni a perlustrováni, na denním pořádku je zatýkání a věznění lidí. Oficiální média o policejní okupaci Exarchie mlčí, ale mnohým lidem po středeční policejní razii již nebude třeba nic vysvětlovat.

Ve středu (21. októbra 2009) kolem 22. hodiny policejní zásahovka v plné výzbroji zaútočila na kavárnu Floral v Exarchii, kde probíhala prezentace a debata o nové knížce C. Kasdaglisa, známého levicového spisovatele. V kavárně byli přítomní kromě anarchistů i zástupci parlamentní levice, po jejich odchodu z kavárny dochází k policejnímu útoku a policisté zatýkají dva mladé muže. Před kavárnu se začínají sbíhat místní obyvatelé.

Mezi lidmi protestujícími proti uvěznění dvou aktivistů byl i Dimitris Papaxristos, který byl zatčen společně s novinářem státní televize potom, co se snažili chování policie natočit na mobilní telefony. Dimitris Papaxristos je známou postavou studenského hnutí odporu proti vojenské diktatuře z roku 1973. Všichni ho znají jako hlasatele protivládního studentského rádia, které v té době vysílalo. Oba zatčení muži, Dimitros i novinář, byli v nočních hodinách policií propuštěni.

Na protest proti policejní represi místní obyvatelé Exarchie svolali na čtvrtek demonstraci s požadavkem okamžitého stažení policejních jednotek ze čtvrti.

(en) The Ssangyong Motor Company strike and plant occupation in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, ended after 77 days on Aug. 5. For the 976 workers who seized the small auto plant on May 22 and held it against repeated quasi-military assault, the settlement signed by Ssangyong court receivership manager Park Young-tae and local union president Han Sang-kyun represented a near-total defeat. Worse still, the surrender was followed by detention and interrogation of dozens of strikers by police, possibly to be followed by felony charges, as well by a massive ($45 million) lawsuit against the Korean Metal Workers’ Union and probable further lawsuits against individual strikers for damages incurred during the strike. The hard-right Korean government of Lee Myong Bak is signaling with these measures—its latest and most dramatic “take no prisoners” victory over popular protest in the past year and a half-- its intention to steamroller any potential future resistance to its unabashed rule on behalf of big capital.

(cz) J. Korea: Stávkující ze Ssangyongské továrny odsouzeni
Jižní KoreaČlen odborů z továrny Ssangyong Motors, který byl aktivně zapojený do stávky a okupace továrny vedené kvůli propouštění, byl v pátek odsouzen na jeden a půl roku do vězení. O okupaci továrny stávkujícími dělníky jsme vás informovali ZDE, o její porážce po masivních a velmi brutálních útocích policie pak ZDE.

Obžalovaný Kim byl souzen jako vůdce okupace Ssangyongské továrny. Suwonský okresního soud odsoudil Kima za vzniklou škodu 2,29 miliardy wonů (1,96 milionů dolarů) při výrobě automobilů a 10 milionů za zničené vybavení. Soud odsoudil také dalšího člena odborů na jeden rok, s odkladem na 2 roky, za podobnou výši škody.
